Chosen General Government initiated the activities of collecting and managing the archives from Chosen Dynasty because of necessity to push positively for its colonial policies. Particularly, such efforts of the regime resulted eventually in boosting their understanding on the Korea cultures, as well as contributed to their reigning Korea to an extent. Some aspects that reflect it are as follows. In 1910 Chosen General Government took over, and began to arrange and classify huge volumes of archives that were held by the royal family. During this period, they collected and arranged literatures that they took over from the earlier Korean government. In 1913, Chosen General Government increased enormously the varieties and volumes of the archives that they intended to collect. They started with collecting archives limited to those literatures that had existed in the civil sector before 1894. It can be noticed that just in 1913 Chosen General Government revealed their intention to collect and classify both royal archives and civil archives. With the work of collecting, classification and annotating archives, Chosen General Government commenced the compilation of Chosensa (Korean History). These efforts aimed at cultural assimilation and educating of Korean people, and in this process, the importance of Chosen Dynasty's archives was reconfirmed. One of the representative cases was a change of terminology. With the compilation efforts into full swing since 1915, Chosen General Government repeatedly started to use the term 'Saryo' (historical records) in connection with Chosen's literatures and archives. The term 'Saryo' previously had been used in Japanese literatures, and it is deemed that it was used as a term generally referring to archives of Chosen Dynasty from that time. This signifies that Chosen General Government began to involve their historical point of view in approaching to the archives of Chosen. As they broadened their understanding on Korea through the annotation of old literatures and compilation of Chosen History, they seriously set on the work of assimilating Korean people culturally aiming at gripping its reign on Korea. Archives of Chosen likewise were very crucial basic data for understanding Korea and its people, and Chosen General Government is deemed to have utilized the archives as a means to reign and assimilate Korean people.

카탈로그 레조네(catalogue raisonne)는 한 작가의 주요한 모든 작품를 목록화하여 작품과 관련된 학술적으로 중요한 기록정보를 기술한 예술가의 총체적 작품기록물로 정의 할 수 있다. 이러한 카탈로그 레조네는 전시 기획자 및 연구자들의 연구자료는 물론 작품의 진위여부를 가리는 기초적인 자료로 이용된다. 국내의 카탈로그 레조네의 제작은 시작단계에 있으나 국외의 경우 미술관련 기관과 작가의 재단이 주축이 되어 작가의 카탈로그 레조네의 활발한 제작을 진행해오고 있다. 카탈로그 레조네는 작품과 관련된 정보에 대한 기술이 무엇보다 중요한 요소이다. 이러한 카탈로그 레조네의 기술요소는 작가의 작품 및 작업의 특성에 따라 각양각색으로 나타날 수 밖에 없다. 이에 국외에서 출판된 작가의 카탈로그 레조네의 사례를 분석하여 카탈로그 레조네가 가지는 특성 및 기술요소에 대해 상세히 살펴보고, 이를 국내 작가들의 권위있는 카탈로그 레조네의 활발한 제작에 기여하고자 한다.

향토문화란 한 지방의 자연환경 속에서 과거로부터 현재까지 면면히 전승되어 온 역사와 전통, 풍물과 생활, 예술과 유물 및 유적 등의 모든 유산을 의미한다. 한국학중앙연구원에서는 이런 향토문화를 디지털 콘텐츠로 제작하고 이를 이용하여 "한국향토문화전자대전"을 편찬하였다. 향토문화 콘텐츠는 기록물의 특성을 가지고 있어 출처주의, 계층목록과 같은 기록물관리체계를 따르고 있으며 이를 편찬 관리하기 위한 시스템은 기초자료, 단편적 정보 및 고급정보 등이 하나의 시스템 안에서 순환하면서 새로운 지식정보를 만들어내도록 도와주는 순환형 지식정보관리시스템을 지향한다. 순환형 지식정보관리시스템의 이용자는 이 시스템을 통해 직접적으로 자료를 수집할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 다른 곳으로부터 데이터를 수집할 수 있으며, 나아가 수집한 데이터를 가공하여 새로운 지식 정보를 창출할 수 있다. 그러나 다양한 향토문화 콘텐츠의 구조에 포함된 의미적인 특징을 손상시키지 않고 데이터베이스를 구축하기가 매우 어렵고, 또한 이러한 작업은 장시간에 걸쳐 여러 차례의 교정 작업이 수행되어야 하므로 문서편찬, 교정, 서비스가 동시에 수행되는 시스템을 필요로 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 "한국향토문화전자대전"의 사례를 중심으로 고문서가 많이 포함된 향토문화 콘텐츠의 의미적인 특징을 손상시키지 않으면서, 문서의 구조정보를 표현할 수 있는 XML 기반의 디지털 편찬 관리시스템을 제시하고 본 연구에서 개발된 관리시스템에서 향토문화 콘텐츠 관리를 위해 확장된 기능을 소개한다.

최근에 안드로이드 응용의 사용자 응답 시간을 향상시키기 위해 JIT 컴파일 방법을 사용하는 달빅 가상 머신에 AOT 컴파일 아이디어를 적용하는 방법들이 제안되었다. 그러나 기존 방법들은 DEX(Dalvik Executable)라는 달빅 실행 파일의 구조를 변경해야 하기 때문에, 이미 시장에 배포된 안드로이드 응용들을 대상으로 적용하기 어렵다. 본 논문은 DEX 실행 파일의 구조 변경 없이 달빅 가상 머신에서 핫 트레이스를 미리 컴파일하는 JITwP(JIT with Precompile) 기법을 제안한다. JITwP 기법은 달빅 가상 머신에 프리컴파일 힌트를 제공하여 타겟 응용의 응답 시간을 개선한다. 성능 평가 결과, 웹 브라우저 응용에 대해서 약 4%의 실행 시간을 단축하는 결과를 얻었다.

CHILL 언어는 전전자 교환기 및 통신 시스템용 소프트웨어 개발에 사용되어왔다. ETRI CHILL-96 언어는 객체지향성, 병행성, 포괄적 타입과 같은 특성을 가지고 CHILL 언어를 확장한 것이다. 본 논문에서는 ETRI CHILL-96 컴파일러의 설계 및 구현과 관련된 몇 가지 기술적 주제들에 대해 다룬다. 재명명 변환 규칙들과 함수 재구성 기술들은 이름 충돌의 방지와 풍부한 디버깅 정보의 생성을 위해 사용되었다. 이러한 새로운 확장된 기능들은 확장된 CHILL 중간 코드로 컴파일 및 변환되는 단계에 전처리 되어진다. 이러한 컴파일 기술들은 ETRI CHILL-96언어가 기존의 CHILL 언어에 의해 개발된 소프트웨어들과 호환성을 유지할 수 있게 해 준다.

XML은 W3C(World Wide Web Consortium)에서 제안한, 인터넷 환경에서의 데이터 표현과 교환을 위한 표준 마크업 언어이다. 최근에는 XML 문서의 사용과 XML 문서의 양이 급속하게 증가하여 언제 어디서나 쉽게 필요한 XML 문서에 액세스할 수 있어야 한다. 이에 따라 분산 환경에서의 XML 문서의 처리가 요구되면서 분산 XML 저장 시스템(Distributed XML Repository System)이 개발되고 있다. 이를 위해 분산 XML 저장 시스템에서의 시스템 카탈로그 관리 기법에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 분산 XML 저장시스템에서 CPU 비용, I/O 비용, 동시성 제어, 이단계 완료 프로토콜, 큐잉 지연 등을 모두 고려하고, 합리적으로 매개변수를 설정하고 시뮬레이션을 수행함으로써 중앙 집중식 카탈로그, 완전 중복식 카탈로그, 분할식 카탈로그 관리 기법의 성능을 평가하였다.

During the Joseon dynasty, the Gwansanggam (觀象監, The Royal Astronomical Observatory) was the royal administration in charge of Astronomy (天文), Geography (地理), Calendars (曆), Astronomical and meteorological observation (測候), and Timekeeping (刻漏). Of those affairs, the Astronomical Almanac compilation was most important. In this paper, we study the education and selection of astronomical officials in the 19th century during the Joseon dynasty, focusing on Astronomical Almanac officials. According to this study, their main area was calendar calculation, and they were involved in Astronomical Almanac compilation for nearly 40 years, until they resigned. In addition, they served as Samryeok-susulgwan (三曆修述官, Official for calendar calculation by the $Sh{\acute{i}}xi{\grave{a}}n$ calendar), and Ilgwa-gamingwan (日課監印官, Official printing supervisor). To undertake these core duties, an official had to pass several examinations and courses. The Gwansanggam (after Gwansangso) carried out the educational function for the officials. In particular, reserved officials of the astronomy division had to be educated starting with a trainee course.

최근의 FPGA는 매우 높은 집적도와 빠른 동작속도 때문에 많은 응용분야에서 널리 사용되고 있다. 그러나, FPGA에 구현된 설계를 디버깅하는 과정은, FPGA의 내부에 존재하는 수많은 신호선들을 탐침하는 과정이 매우 오랜 시간을 요하는 FPGA 재-컴파일을 최소 수 차례 이상 필요로 함으로서 많은 문제점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는, 이와 같은 FPGA 디버깅의 문제점을 분석하고, 새로운 디버깅 방법을 제안한다. 제안되는 방법은 FPGA 내부에 존재1차는 모든 신호선들에 대한 100% 탐침을 한 차례의 FPGA 재-컴파일과정 없이도 수행하는 것을 가능하게 할 뿐만 아니라, 한번의 FPGA 컴파일 과정으로 최소 한 개의 설계 오류를 찾을 수 있도록 한다. 본 논문에서 제안된 방법은 실험을 통하여서도 매우 효과적이며 실용적임이 확인되었다.
