  • This study aims to find a correlation between XRD and Raman result of the oxidized high modulus carbon fibers as a function of its oxidation degrees, and compare with the isotropic carbon fiber reported early. La of the high modulus carbon fiber prepared by oxidation in carbon dioxide gas have been observed using laser Raman spectroscopy. The basic structural parameters of the fibers were evaluated by XRD as well. The La of the original high modulus carbon fibers were measured to be 144 ${\AA}$ from Raman analysis and 135 ${\AA}$ from XRD analysis. La of the 92% oxidized fiber were 168 ${\AA}$ by using Raman and 182 ${\AA}$ by using XRD. There was some correlation between the La value obtained from Raman and XRD. However the La value changes of the high modulus carbon fiber through whole oxidation process showed opposite tendency compare with the isotropic carbon fiber because of the fiber structure basically.

  • If we want to compare the form of two objects, the human vision takes into account the parameter's width/length/height at the same time. however, the machine needs to compare width then lengths and finally height. In each comparison the machine considers only one character. The goal of this paper is to imitate the human manner of comparison and recognition by using two or three characters instead of one during the comparison. The ellipse is a first approach of comparison because it provides us a general and a simple relation that can link two parameters that are the half axis of the ellipse. Indeed, we assimilate each character to a half axis of the ellipse and the result is a geometrical figure that varies according to values of the two characters.

  • This study was designed to compare care needs of patients with cancer and family members in inpatient and outpatient settings. The questionnaire was a Likert type 5 point scale with 57 items on four need categories; informational, physical care emotional care and socioeconomic care. There were significant differences between inpatient and outpatient settings. Also, there were significant differences in degree of care need according to gender, religion, marital status, economic status, public insurance status, and the past regimen. In conclusion, emotional needs perceived by patients with cancer and family members were higher than the others. Based upon the result, it is recommended that the research to compare needs between cancer patients who have a same illness and family member are necessary.

  • The Horizon Run 4 is a huge cosmological simulation intended for the study of evolution of dark matter halos in a side of volume of 3150 h-1 Mpc. Using the halo merger trees of most bound particles, we test various models on the survivals of satellites in clusters and will compare them with observed satellite galaxies in a one-to-one correspondence model. We estimate the abundances of central and satellite subhalos, and compare them with the SDSS main-galaxy group catalogue provided by Tempel et al. (2014). Based on these comparisons we will study the mass-to-light relations, environmental effects on morphology and luminosity function, halo occupations in clusters, and nonlinear dynamics of clusters of galaxies.

  • We present new analyses of FLS 1718+59, a galaxy-galaxy gravitational lens system in the Spitzer First Look Survey (FLS) Field. A background galaxy (z = 0.245) is severely distorted by a nearby elliptical galaxy (z = 0.08), which can be interpreted as a result of gravitational lensing. We analyze this system by multiple methods, including ELLIPSE fitting, gravitational lens modeling, and surface brightness fitting. From this analysis, we obtain parameters of the lens galaxy using varying approaches and compare them. In the future, we will conduct SED fitting for the lens galaxy and estimate the stellar mass, and compare this with the total mass of the lens to check the M-L relation.

  • The purpose of this study is to compare the quality of service between successful and unsuccessful traditional Korean restaurants, We utilized the 7Ps (product price, promotion, participants, physical evidence, process) theory applied in a previous study (B.H. Booms & M.J. Bitner, 1981). We analyzed the collected data in order to compare the 7P's performances between successful and unsuccessful restaurants. The results this study show that successful statistically significance that prosperous restaurants are affected by other 6Ps except promotion. The results suggest that the most Korean restaurants did not pay enough attention to promotion comparing to European and American restaurants. Thus, Korean restaurants are required to take more interest in promotion to get competitive advantages in the future.

  • In the traditional medical field, the patient was a person to receive protection from the doctor because there are vertical relationship between the patient and the doctor. But in modern medical field, patients change their role to health-care consumer to be guaranteed their rights more actively. This study compare patient's rights in doctor's vocational ethics and patient's rights in law, consumer rights. This study analyzes what is type of law-relationship between patients and doctor and how can they act health-care as health-care consumer.

  • We study on intuitive verification and rigor proof which are in geometry of Korean and Russian $7\~8$ grade's mathematics textbooks. We compare contents of mathematics textbooks of Korea and Russia laying stress on geometry. We extract 4 proposition explained in Korean mathematics textbooks by intuitive verification, analyze these verification method, and compare these with rigor proof in Russian mathematics textbooks.

  • The online advertising industry's business model undertakes the change from CPM (cost-per-mille)-based to CPC (cost-per-click)-based. However, due to the problem of 'Click Fraud', CPA (cost-per-action) has been regarded as a new step. For CPA, publishers need to get information after a user clicks an advertisement. Therefore, in CPA, the key is to get Conversion Action Data (CAD). This paper introduces two existing mechanisms for getting CAD, compare their characteristics, and analyze their limitations. Then the two new mechanisms are introduced and their requirements and feasibility are analyzed. Lastly, we compare the existing two and the new two mechanisms, and point out each mechanism's business possibility, value and Application Area. This paper will help publishers choose the most appropriate mechanism on the basis of their situation.

  • The purpose of this study was to contribute to the development of clinical instruction by students ratings of teaching effectiveness in clinical education. The instrument used in this study was teaching effectiveness of clinical nursing by Yu and modified evaluation method by Kern and Mickelson. The results were are follows 1. Among the 12 categorial components of clinical teaching effectiveness, the highest satisfaction was 'encouraging to think for themselves' and the lowest was 'attitude of teacher and evaluation' 2. To compare teaching effectiveness between sex, 'resource for student' and 'professional competence' showed statistical significance. 3. To compare teaching effectiveness among clinical practice stage, 'encouraging' 'role model', 'professional competence', 'organization of subject mater' and 'attitude of teacher and evaluation' showed statistical significance. 5. Interrater ICCs for evaluation method did not showed statistical significance and interitem ICCs showed statistical significance. This article presents goal of clinical education, development of clinical instructor's educational program and a standardized method to measure clinical performance.
