Employee engagement plays an important role in the development as well as the success of a company. The manner in which employees are committed to their work and be more innovative seems to drive people's curiosity. This study aims to analyze the impacts of job demands-resources, personal resources, and coworker support on work engagement. Also, whether there is a relationship between work engagement and creativity of employees is tested through this research. The data served for the research was collected in the context of Vietnamese small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The authors used structural equation modeling (SEM) (software Smart PLS), to test the proposed hypotheses by using the data of 602 employees. Results of the study point out that proposed antecedents influence work engagement and creativity. Such findings have shed light on both theory and practice implications. In theory, it supports the social exchange theory and the job demands and resources model. In practice, leaders should assist subordinates in various aspects and build and promote a corporate culture where employees help others with great enthusiasm to increase the level of work engagement and spirit of innovation of employees.

Globalization has greatly contributed to an increased need for improvement of human capital, and particularly in the development of the real estate and construction sector. Since the political and economic reforms in 1986, Vietnam has experienced a strong economic performance. The real estate and construction sector is one of the fastest growing industries in Vietnam, accounting for approximately 7.6% of GDP in Vietnam. The aim of this study is to identify critical factors influencing the satisfaction of employees to their working place. The sample data collected was from 265 employees, managers and staff in real estate and construction companies in Vietnam. After revising the missing data, and the errors, 240 valid respondents are selected. In addition, the analysis also employs SPSS software by discussing descriptive statistics, Cronbach's alpha test, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), and regression analysis. Our empirical findings show that a company offering greater wages can positively affect the satisfaction of employees to their working place in the real estate and construction sector. In addition, a firm with a superior working relationship and working environment has a positive and statistically significant impact on the satisfaction of employees to their working place.
Purpose: This study is to explore how to enhance an organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) for private companies, boosting their employees; performance. With OCB in place, businesses won't have to worry about employees engaging in harmful or counterproductive actions. Better coordination will benefit employees' skill sets and the company's overall performance. Research design, data and methodology: We used a data extraction form and present it as an appendix. These forms could demonstrate to the reader what the present authors looked for and how they found it. We also investigated to obtain text datasets whether any extractions were carried out in duplicate, and, if so, whether duplicate abstraction was carried out independently. Results: There are four solutions to boost employees' OCB for HR practitioners: 'Creating an Environment that Supports Constructive OCB', 'Encouraging Productive Behavior in the Workplace and Reward properly, 'Integrating Corporate Citizenship into Performance Evaluations', and 'Training to Use OCB and Educating on its Benefits'. Conclusions: Based on the research findings of the current study, this study strongly concludes that OCB should be encouraged, and employers and employees should collaborate on efforts to boost morale and increase productivity. As a direct result of their efforts, their firms enjoy improved earnings while experiencing reduced overhead costs.

Purpose: The current study focused on work performance of distribution department of AMC (asset management company) industry in China, outlines the challenges faced by distribution employees of Chinese four biggest national AMCs, aiming to enhance the ability of Chinese national AMCs to succeed in the face of external challenges such as economic, social, and technological changes. Research design, data and methodology: This study adopted quantitative methods, questionnaire was collected from 248 general distribution department employees of four national AMCs of China, these employees are from the top 5 developed cities in China, and software Smart PLS 3.0 and SPSS 25 was applied to data analysis. Results: The result of this current study through Smart PLS 3.0 has revealed that the significant effect of affective commitment on contextual performance, affective commitment on task performance, continuance commitment on contextual performance, normative commitment on contextual performance, and effect of continuance commitment on task performance and normative commitment on task performance were found to be non-significant. Conclusions: According to the important role of distribution department, managers in China's national AMCs can leverage the study's findings to enhance organizational commitment among employees of distribution department, and further positively influences distribution department employees' work performance.
The purpose of this study was to identify the relationships among organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and learning organization culture. This study was conducted in five sub-organizations of one Korean conglomerate company. One thousand employees were randomly and proportionately selected, with 669 useable cases obtained, for a response rate of 67%. The organizational commitment instrument used from the "affective, continuance, and normative commitment" scale (ACNCS) of Allen and Meyer (1990). The "Dimensions of Learning Organization Questionnaire" of Watkins and Marsick (1997) was used to measure learning organization culture. The short form MSQ (Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire), developed by Weiss, Dawis, England, and Lofquist (1967), was the third instrument used. Descriptive statistics, correlational statistics, and inferential statistics (ANOVA and t-tests) were used. Organizational commitment (except for continuance) is moderately and positively related to job satisfaction and moderately and positively related to learning organization culture. In addition, learning organization culture is weakly to moderately and positively related to job satisfaction. No differences by age were found. Four-year college graduates are more likely to have higher creating continuous learning opportunities in learning organization culture than graduate school degree holders. Males are likely to have higher affective and continuance organizational commitment than females. Employees working in R&D, Engineering, and Manufacturing (REM) are likely to have higher continuance organizational commitment than do other types of jobs. Employees are more likely to have higher learning organization culture and job satisfaction than assistant managers. Assistant managers have higher continuance organizational commitment than managers. Managers generally have higher organizational commitment, learning organization culture, job satisfaction than assistant managers. They also have higher learning organization culture than employees. Employees who had worked for less than four years in their current job and organization have higher promoting inquiry and dialogue in learning organization culture than those who have worked for ten years or more. Employees in the insurance organization have higher affective organizational commitment, learning organization culture, and job satisfaction than those of the other organizations. Finally, employees of the electronic company have higher continuance organizational commitment in learning organization culture than those of other companies. In summary, this research enables CEOs and HRD and HRM practitioners to view organizational commitment, learning organization culture, and job satisfaction as important variables in exploring diverse ranges of topics related to the workplace. And then, they can diversely apply their management, interventions and practices to fit these diverse characteristics.
The purpose of this study is to survey what strategy BACHE, a bathtub manufacturing company, chooses to implement knowledge management. Generally speaking, the success factors of this case company is follow-up management. The first factor is to use linguistic metaphors for employees to understand difficult knowledge management terms easily. The second one is that CEO tries to set and lead pro-knowledge management corporate culture. The third one is based on the CKO's competence to read business circumstances and apply the theory of knowledge management to the workplace. The fourth one has something to do with a way of knowledge creation, for example, a suggestion system and QC circle. The fifth one depends upon CKO's mission to share knowledge invented from his own company's with the rivals and large companies which order bathtubs so that overall bathtub industry can upgrade knowledge management.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the innovation performance through business innovation activities by small and medium size company as well as to test the moderating effects on the innovation techniques'understanding and conformance. Methods: The data for the empirical analysis was collected from 132 companies mainly located in Jeolla and Gyeonggi Province. Cronbach's alpha factor analysis, multiple regression analysis and hierarchical multiple regression were used for statistical methods. Results: The Statistical analysis results show that innovation performance through business innovation techniques and activities was effected by CEO leadership, company capability and training for employees. Conclusion: Through this study we tried to give some suggestions for improving innovation performance through business innovation activities for the small and medium size company.
Even though the woollen-yarn-making process as a whole has received much attention from customers in recent years, but yet there exist many problems to improve quality, productivity, and working environment in a small-medium woollen-yarn manufacture. To achieve the aim for improvement of quality and productivity, we have performed a period of education and training for workers. And thus this paper reports a study carried out them in the company located in near Pusan. Also, this paper describes a study how has a small-medium company introduced the education for the workers by authors. Among the possible outcome of this study is that the company does encounter considerable difficulties in the education and training. But to improve the quality and productivity, we assert that the company has to overcome these courses. We all recognize that the employer has been prepared for education and training to improve the employees' working conditions for a long time.

Because consumers tend to have negative opinion about a company that neglects social issues like poverty or pollution while it focuses on its own profit, a lot of companies have invested their resources in Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR). CSR has merits of image improving and profit gaining, on the other hand, it has also many shortcomings. First, the cost of CSR may become a heavy financial burden. Specifically, CSR tends to be implemented by a company's unilateral backup, and then this may impose a heavy burden on the company. Second, one cannot expect effects of CSR in a short-term. Because of these shortcomings, the unilateral CSR has gone into alteration of the type of CSR since 1980's. Instead of unilaterality, Cause-Related Marketing(CRM) began to be used for mutual profits among company, consumers, and society. That is, CRM has become to be spotlighted as a new type of CSR. It focuses on partnership between a company and consumers based on cause and mutual profit pursuing through this partnership. So, many contemporary companies prefer CRM activities that derive their positive corporate image, that increase their sales, and that reduce their financial cost. The IBM Matching Grants Program, which is the largest of the IBM-Employee partnership programs, is a typical CRM. This program enables employees and retirees to increase the value of their donations to educational institutions, hospitals, hospices, nursing homes, and cultural & environmental organizations with a matching gift from IBM. Hundreds of educational institutions and thousands of nonprofit organizations have benefited from the contributions by IBM. There might be various types of matching grants. For example, an employee might choose a lump-sum expense or partitioning a lump-sum into a series of small ongoing expenses for his (or her) donation, and a firm might match the employee's total contribution with a lump-sum expense or might match the employee's total contribution with a series of small ongoing expenses. However, it is not easy to find an academic research on which type of matching grant is preferred by employees. This paper shows that an employee prefers the type of matching grants that consists of a lump-sum expense for his (or her) contribution and a series of small ongoing expenses for a firm's contribution [or the type of matching grants that consists of a series of small ongoing expenses for an employee's contribution and a lump-sum expense for a firm's contribution] to the other types of matching grants.
Small & medium sized company is the most efficient way of management to prevent my accident in the area of industry. Employees are more than 30 to less than 50 persons and which is liable for securing a safety manager on site, is gradually seen on the surface. Even a small company is nothing less than a dead zone from a safety since it's free from his obligation of employing a safety manager. Let us now think about the effective measures against a industrial accident by collecting, reviewing a variety of preventive measures, which is being carried out for preventing an industrial accident happening in a small company, and comparing, analyzing the effect according to the respective measures.
