백삼의 심적밀도와 근중과의 관계 (Relationship Between Bulk Density and Root Weight in White Ginseng)

  • Weight (g/root) and bulk density (g/$cm^3$) of tap root in 15-root-grade of 4-year-old white ginseng were investigated by specific gravity and weight-volume method. Bulk density measured by specific gravity ranged from 0.8 to 1.2g/$cm^3$ with almost normal distribution in frequency (number 1 of roots). Bulk density measured by volume-weight method had significant correlation with root weight. The percentage of high bulk density root (above 1.0) showed significant positive correlation with mean root weight or mean bulk density of root weight, indicating that the growth conditions for large root provide the better compactnes of root tissue.

  • High voltage pulse power supply using Marx generator and solid-state switches is proposed in this study. The Marx generator is composed of 12 stages and each stage is made of IGBT stack, two diode stacks, and capacitor. To charge the capacitors of each stage in parallel, inductive charging method is used and this method results in high efficiency and high repetition rates. It can generate the pulse voltage with the following parameters: Voltage: up to 120kv Rising time: sub ${\mu}S$ Pulse width: up to $10{\mu}S$, Pulse repetition rate: 1000pps The proposed pulsed power generator uses IGBT stack with a simple driver and has modular design. So this system structure gives compactness and easiness to implement total system. Some experimental results are included to verify the system performances in this paper.

  • The hypoid gear has advantage for the high reduction ratio and compactness. But, geometry design and strength evaluation of the hypoid gear depend on the machine tool of specific production companies because the geometry design and strength evaluation of the hypoid gear are complex and difficult. This paper proposes the development of the design programs to satisfying the geometry and strength of a hypoid gear through optimization technique using the genetic algorithm. The genetic algorithm is designed to optimize a method for minimizing volume. The existing design of hypoid gear in the forklift truck axle is compared with the results of developed optimum design program.

  • The rolling piston type rotary compressor has become one of the most successful types because of its compactness and high-speed operation. The analysis described here is part of a research program directed toward maximising these advantages in refrigerant compressors. The study of lubrication characteristics in the critical sliding component is essential for the design of refrigerant compressors. Therefore, theoretical investigation of the lubrication characteristics of rotary compressor for refrigeration & air-conditioning system is studied. And the Newton-Raphson method is used for the EHI. analysis between vane and rolling piston in the rotary compressor. The results show that the rotational speed of shaft and the discharge pressure have an important effect upon the friction force and the energy loss between vane and rolling piston. This results give important basic data for the further lubrication analysis and design of the rotary compressor.

  • In this paper we consider a class of nonlinear nonlocal parabolic equations involving p-Laplacian operator where the nonlocal quantity is present in the diffusion coefficient which depends on $L^p$-norm of the gradient and the nonlinear term is of polynomial type. We first prove the existence and uniqueness of weak solutions by combining the compactness method and the monotonicity method. Then we study the existence of global attractors in various spaces for the continuous semigroup generated by the problem. Finally, we investigate the existence and exponential stability of weak stationary solutions to the problem.

  • 지체시간은 중요한 수문학적 응답특성 중의 하나로서, 유역의 형태적 특성으로부터 영향을 받는 것으로 알려져 있다. 일반적으로 유역의 형상은 집수평면에 대한 각종 형상디스크립터를 통하여 표현할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 최근 집수평면에 대한 새로운 형상지수로서 Moussa(2003)에 의하여 제안된 등가타원의 기하학적 특성을 지체시간 해석에 적용하였다. 강우-유출 관측자료의 지체시간은 Nash(1960)의 적률법을 이용하여 추정하였고. 우리나라의 3개 유역에 대한 사례분석을 통하여, 유역의 형태적 특성과 지체시간 사이의 관계를 분석하였다. 또한 상류지역으로부터 하류지역까지 등가타원의 형상이 변환되어 가는 양상을 고찰하였다. 그 결과, 등가타원을 기반으로 한 신집수형상디스크립터 a+b 및 $a+b+{\epsilon}OM$와 지체시간 사이에는 비교적 양호한 상관관계가 존재함을 확인할 수 있었고 등가타원의 형상은 하류방향을 따라 인의 형태로 접근해 감을 알 수 있었다. 또한 불규칙한 평면의 형상을 표현하기 위한 밀집도의 개념을 적용해 보고자 시도하였다.

  • Since a structure carries out its given functions and purposes while it is always resisting against the external load, the capacity of the resistance in the structure within the range that will not collapse the structure itself becomes the important factor in the design of the structures. Therefore, many suggestions were proposed and noted for determining method of the collapse load. Some of the methods from the suggestions have been commonly used due to the considerations on their distinctive advantages such as the compactness of the conceptions and the convenience in the computation. However, in case when the variation becomes huge in the materials and load, the results would carry(have or contain) many uncertain elements. On the other hand, load incremental method which regards the characteristics of the probability must be more attainable method even though it might complicate the calculation. This study intends to develop a finite element model that uses the probabilistic load incremental method to estimate the collapse load, and also to compare the result of the analysis with the linear load incremental method and Turkstra's Rule.

자동차 헤드라이트용 고압방전등 안정기 시스템의 새로운 점등방식 (Novel Ignition Method for Automotive HID lamp Ballast System)

  • This paper presents novel ignition method for automotive 35W metal halide discharge lamp electronic ballast. At this study, the novel method of ignition is developed to reduce costs and size of the ballast. By use of the novel method, the voltage needed in ignition is decreased, which result in use of the lower voltage rating power devices compared with conventional method and product compactness was achieved by deleting a circuit generating negative voltage needed in ignition at an conventional circuit. In terms of luminosity, color rendering, light efficiency(lm/W) and lifespan, the metal halide lamp is superior to, but unlike halogen lamp, it have more complicated transient characteristics to reach its steady state than the conventional halogen lamp. Therefore, in this paper, the electronic ballast was designed such that the metal halide lamp could be optimized for the automotive, by applying a method of microcontroller-based digital control. The results of the proposed system is verified through various experiment results.

소형 비행체 탑재를 위한 크기 비교용 방향 탐지 안테나 조립체 (An Amplitude Comparison Direction-Finding Antenna Assembly for Mounting on a Small Flight Vehicle)

  • In this paper, a compact antenna assembly for an amplitude comparison direction-finding(DF) method for a small flight vehicle is presented. Designed antenna assembly consists of four antennas and it is mounted on a radius of 1.45 λc where λc corresponds to the wavelength of the center frequency. To achieve compactness and robustness of the assembly, the elements are fed by end-launch feeding method and have modified aperture shapes of E- or H-sectoral horns. The feeding part consists of SMA connector, stepped impedance matching structure, and square waveguide of 0.6 λc × 0.6 λc. To achieve different main beam directions for every antenna which is required condition for amplitude comparison DF method, all apertures of the antennas are inclined and it makes the main beam direction of each antenna to top, bottom, left, and right with respect to the axis of the platform. To verify the validation of DF performance of the presented antenna assembly, amplitude comparison curves using measurement results are presented. The bandwidth of the antennas are above 3.2 % in Ku-band(VSWR ≤ 2:1).

아스팔트 도로의 포트홀 검출 방법 (Pothole Detection Method in Asphalt Pavement)

  • 본 논문에서는 다양한 특징점들을 이용하여 아스팔트 도로의 포트홀을 검출하는 방법을 제안한다. 포트홀 검출에서의 분할, 후보, 결정 단계 들은 특징점 들의 특성에 따라 추출된 값들에 의해 처리된다. 분할 단계에서는 히스토그램과 형태학 필터의 닫힘 연산을 이용하여 포트홀 검출을 위한 어두운 영역을 추출한다. 후보 단계에서는 포트홀 후보 영역을 정하기 위하여 크기, 밀도 등 다양한 특징점들을 이용하여 포트홀 후보 영역을 추출한다. 또한 마지막 결정 단계에서는 후보 영역과 배경 영역과의 특징점들의 비교를 통해서 후보 영역이 포트홀 여부를 판단한다. 실험 결과, 제안하는 방법이 기존 포트홀 검출 방법 보다 향상된 결과를 보이고 포트홀과 유사한 형태들과 구분하는 향상된 결과를 보인다.
