Capacitor용 Ta분말 제조공정 Waste Ta를 이용한 TaC분말 제조 (Preparation of TaC Powder from the Waste of Ta powder Fabrication Process for Capacitor)

  • 케퍼시터용 Ta 분말제조공정에서 발생하는 waste 분말을 이용하여 TaC 분말을 자전고온합성법에 의하여 합성하였다. waste TA는 합성반응의 활성 및 산화방지를 위하여 전처리공정에서 미분쇄 및 탈산처리가 필요하였다. 합성반응에서는 TaC 단일상은 6∼7wt.%C의 조성범위에서 얻을 수 있었다. 또한 반응온도는 시료의 압축력에 영향을 받으며, 압축력 1600psi에서 최고반응온도를 나타냈다.

  • The combustion characteristics of the disilicides molybdenum system have been studied experimentally. The pertinent reaction parameters that control self-propagating high temperature synthesis reactions have been examined. These include reactant particle size, powder mixing and compaction, reaction stoichiometry, diluents. The influence of experimental variables on integrity, uniformity, structure, and related material properties will be discussed. Formation mechanism of $MoSi_2$ during SHS might be different and depending on experimental conditions.

  • Magnesium and magnesium alloys are promising materials for light weight and high strength applications. In order to obtain homogeneous and high quality products in powder compaction and powder forging processes, it is very important to control density and density distributions in powder compacts. In this study, a model for densification of metallic powder is proposed for pure magnesium. The mode] considers the effect of powder characteristics using a pressure-dependent critical density yield criterion. Also with the new model, it was possible to obtain reasonable physical properties of pure magnesium powder using cold iso-state pressing. The proposed densification model was implemented into the finite element method code. The finite element analysis was applied to simulating die compaction of pure magnesium powders in order to investigate the density and effective strain distributions at room temperature.

소입경 골재를 이용한 중온 저소음 아스팔트 포장의 적용 연구 (A Study on Application of Warm-Mix Quiet Pavement Using Fine-Size Aggregate)

  • 본 연구에서는 소입경 골재와 중온 기술을 사용한 저소음 포장의 현장 적용성 검토를 수행하였다. 배합설계 및 실내실험 수행결과, 소입경 골재를 사용하면 골재간의 맞물림 면적이 증가하여 비산저항성이 향상되는 것으로 나타났다. 고점도 아스팔트 바인더를 사용하는 저소음 아스팔트 포장은 선회다짐기를 통한 다짐온도 결정이 적합하였으며, 중온 첨가제 사용시 약 $15^{\circ}C$의 다짐온도 저감효과를 얻을 수 있었다. 시험 시공 후 현장투수시험과 소음측정을 하였으며 현장투수시험을 통해 저소음 포장이 충분한 공극을 확보하였음을 확인하였다. 소음측정결과 10mm 소입경 저소음 포장의 소음감소효과가 가장 뛰어난 것으로 나타났으며 공극률이 다소 작게 확보된 10mm 중온 소입경 저소음 포장도 13mm 저소음 포장에 비해 높은 소음감소효과가 나타나 소입경 골재의 사용이 저소음 포장의 소음감소에 효과적이었으며, 특히 저속에서의 소음감소효과가 뛰어났다.

  • Gas sensing effects produced by adsorptive reaction between specimen surface and gases are expected to be influenced greatly by the state of the speimen surface. In this study, Co1-xMgxO ceramics oxygen sensors were prepared by pressing at 0.3-1.5ton/cm\ulcornerwith or without binder, intending to change porosity and average grain size on the surface purposely. The composition ratio of CoO to MgO was fixed at 1:1(mol.%). Microstructure of prepared Co0.5Mg0.5O ceramics were observed, the electrical properties and the sensitivity characteristics for oxygen gas were investigated in the device temperature range of 700-1000\ulcorner and for oxygen partical pressure range of 1-10**-4 atm. Temperature dependence of the resistivity of the specimen showed NTC behavior, average grain size increased and porosity decreased with increasing compaction pressure. The slope of the resistivity of the specimen on the oxygen partial pressure decreased with increasing average grain size and with decreasing porosity. Particularly, specimen pressed by 0.3 and 0.5 ton/cm\ulcornershowed the highest sensitivity to oxygen gas.

목질바이오매스를 이용한 펠릿연료의 제조 (Pellet Fuel from Wood Biomass)

  • Recently, densified pollet fuel from wood biomass is widely used at North America and Europe as a regenerable and clean carbon neutral bioenergy. High-pressure compaction of sawdust of several species of wood to form a densified fuel was studied. Calorific and elemental analysis were carried out to assess pellet fuels Hot-press process was adopted for compact ion of sawdust and compaction was performed under prescribed condition. Densified fuels were evaluated by its oven-dry density and fines after 5-minute shaking test. The target density and fines of densified fuels were over $1.2g/cm^3$ and below 0.5%, respectively. When the press-temperature is over $60^{\circ}C$ densified fuels with density over $1.2g/cm^3$ and with fines below 0.5% can be produced. And the pressure over $1000kgf/cm^2$ was effect ive for this production.

몰리브데늄 분말의 치밀화 거동 및 기계적 물성의 이론적 연구 (Theoretical Study on the Consolidation Behavior and Mechanical Property for Molybdenum Powders)

  • In this study, consolidation behavior and hardness of commercially available molybdenum powder were investigated. In order to analyze compaction response of the powders, the elastoplastic constitutive equation based on the yield function by Shima and Oyane was applied to predict the compact density under uniaxial pressure from 100MPa to 700MPa. The compacts were sintered at $1400-1600^{\circ}C$ for 20-60 min. The sintered density and grain size of molybdenum were increased with increasing the compacting pressure and processing temperature and time. The constitutive equation, proposed by Kwon and Kim, was applied to simulate the creep densification rate and grain growth of molybdenum powder compacts. The calculated results were compared with experimental data for the powders. The effects of the porosity and grain size on the hardness of the specimens were explained based on the modified plasticity theory of porous material and Hall-Petch type equation.
