맞벌이 주말부부와 홀벌이 주말부부의 자녀양육에 관한 연구 (A Comparison of Two Types of Commuting Family′s Child-rearing)

  • Due to the changes of modern society, alternative types of nuclear family so called as commuting family have appeared. Also, with the increase of women's economic participation and their needs of self-actualization, dual-career commuting family have increased. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether there is any difference between the traditional commuting family and dual-career commuting family in terms of family relation, types of child-care and social support. Also, this study qualitatively analysed parenting-guilty of the mothers of commuting family. One eight seven mothers of three to eight year-old participated the survey. The main results were as follows : (1) In case of traditional commuting family, children cohabit with the mother and usually fathers move between two houses. But among the dual-career commuting family, there are some children who cohabit with the father and some mothers who move. Dual-career commuting family relied on the more types of child-care than traditional commuting family. (2) While traditional commuting family get more support for child-rearing from the husband's family of origin than dual-career commuting family, wife's family of origin provide more support to the dual-career commuting family. The more support the husband's family of origin provide, the more stress both types of commuting family experience. However, there was no significant relationship between the support from the wife's family of origin or friends and the stress of the mothers of both types of commuting family. (3) Mothers of two types of commuting families were different regarding the motives of parenting-guilty Difficulty of caring the children for their job as well as father-absentness makes mothers of dual-career commuting family feel parenting-guilty more.

통학거리 및 수단특성을 반영한 초등학교 안전도 영향관계 실증연구 (A Empirical Study on Influence of Safety on Elementary School Road Considering Commuting Distance & Mode Type)

  • This study deals with actual commuting distance and influence of risk factors depending on commuting distance and mode in order to reestablish actual commuting zone of primary school students. Data mining analysis(CHAID) was applied for this reestablishment using survey results from 6,927 primary school students in Seoul Metro. Six risk factors; convenience level of commuting path condition, convenience level of road crossing condition, vehicle speed on commuting path, segregation level between commuter and vehicle, congestion level of commuting path, and public security level and two mode; walking and cycle are considered in the analysis. As the results of CHAID analysis, commuting distance was divided into four zones; Internal Zone(0.491km under), External Zone(0.492 ~ 1.492km, 1.493 ~ 2.699km), Commutable Zone(2.70km over), and awareness level on safety is declined as commuting distance is increased. The risk factor affecting on safety is recognized differently by students depending on commuting distance and mode. For students commuting by walking, vehicle speed on commuting path and convenience level of commuting path condition are recognized as the prime risk factor within Internal Zone and Commutable Zone, respectively. For students commuting by cycle, convenience level of road crossing condition and vehicle speed on commuting path are recognized as the prime risk factor within Commutable Zone. Analysis results show that improved plan and program for commuting path for primary school students are required considering actual commuting distance and method.

주말부부의 가족스트레스, 대처전략 및 가족건강성 연구 (A Study on the Family Stress and Coping Strategy, Family Strengths among Commuting Couples)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the family stresses and its managing strategy to cope with the stresses, and family strengths among commuting couples. The participants of this study consisted of a national samples of 134 couples (268 individuals), whose has been commuting for at least six months The major findings obtained from the study are summarized in the following: 1) The degree of family stresses among commuting couples was 2.98, when the maximal stress value was set to 5.0. The most stressful aspect for the commuting couples came from the role of parents who care for their children. 2) The degree of coping strategy among commuting couples was 3.37, when the maximal coping strategy value was set to 5.0. Among the strategies, the 'cognitive restructuring' shows the first. 3) The degree of family strengths among commuting couples was 3.76, when the maximal strengths value was set to 5.0. Also factors affecting the family strengths among commuting couples are dependent on their educational degree, religion, kind of jobs, commuting and conjugal periods, moving person, meeting frequencies, self-esteem and marital satisfaction. 4) The most effective variable of family strengths among commuting couples was marital satisfaction.

주말부부 가계와 비주말부부 가계의 객관적, 주관적 경제구조분석 및 비교연구 (A Comparative Analysis on Objective Evaluation and Subjective Perception of Household Economic Structure for Commuting and Non-Commuting Couples)

  • This study analyzed the objective indicators of household economic structures, such as income, expenditure, and debts, as well as a subjective evaluation of economic standards, and compared the households of commuting couples (so called Weekend couples) with those of non-commuting couples. Findings of this study are as follows. First, both husbands and wives in commuter marriages had a higher level of education, were younger, had poorer health, and had shorter working hours than the couples in non-commuter marriages. Second, commuting couples had a significantly higher income than non-commuting couples. In addition, commuting couples had a greater amount of savings, had a higher cost of living, and lower debts than non-commuting couples. Third, commuting couples evaluated their status of household economy more negatively than non-commuting couples. Despite the fact that the commuting couples were more affluent in terms of the objective indicators, including income, savings, and assets, their level of health and psychological well-being were compromised. Lastly, factors determining commuter marriages were the number of years the husband has spent in his job, and the husband's level of education. The shorter the tenure of the husband's job, and the higher the level of husband's education, the more likely the couple was in a commuter marriage.

광역권 통근시간 만족도 영향요인 분석에 따른 대중교통 이용 활성화 방안연구 (A Study on the Activation of Public Transportation by Analysis of Factors Influencing Satisfaction of Commuting Hours in the Metropolitan Area)

  • 연구목적:광역권 통근시간 만족도 향상요인 분석에 따른 대중교통 이용 활성화 방안에 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 본 연구는 광역통근을 시행하는 직장인을 대상으로 광역통근시간 및 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 연구결과: 권역별 광역통근시간에 대한 통근만족도의 경우, 수도권은 평균 통근시간이 높은 만큼 통근시간만족도가 상대적으로 낮으며, 비수도권은 평균 통근시간이 낮은 만큼 통근시간 만족도가 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 결론:향후 정부는 광역통근 시간을 줄이기 위한 방안으로 급행철도 및 광역버스를 신설 또는 개선하고, 승용차의 이용시간 단축을 위한 도시고속도로 등을 건설하여 통근시간을 줄이는 양적지표도 중요하지만 통근시간의 만족도를 높이는 질적 지표가 더욱 중요하다. 즉, 통근시간이 길어도 그 시간이 만족스러우면 삶의 만족도 역시 높아지므로 삶의 질이 중요한 시대를 맞이하여 통근시간이라는 단순 지표보다는 통근시간 만족도까지 개선시킬 필요가 있어 통근시간에 대한 질적 및 양적 측면 모두 개선이 필요하다.

부산 대도시권의 통근권 변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Changes of Commuting Areas in the Busan Metropolitan Area)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 2000~2010년 사이에 부산 대도시권의 통근권이 어떻게 변화해왔는지를 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 연계성 지표를 사용하여 부산 대도시권을 설정한 후, 요인분석을 사용하여 부산 대도시권의 통근권 변화를 분석하였다. 부산 대도시권의 통근권은 동부산권, 서부산권, 김해 창원권, 울산권 등 4개로 구분되었다. 서부산 지역의 통근권은 축소되고 있으며, 지리적으로 인접한 강서구 북구 사상구와 김해 창원 지역의 통근연계구조는 강화되고 있다. 이는 서부산을 출발지로, 김해 창원을 도착지로 하는 역통근 통행이 증가한 결과이다. 울산 지역은 부산 대도시권 내에서 독립된 통근권을 형성하고 있다.

직주불일치 현상과 낭비통근 : 서울시를 중심으로 (Jobs-Housing Mismatch and Wasteful Commuting in Seoul)

  • One of interesting issues in urban land-use and transportation policy is about an unproven belief that imbalances between employment and residential sites strongly influence urban commuting patterns. The purpose of this study si to find how spatial distribution of jobs and housing affects commuting distances in Seoul Metropolitan Area using 1990 Census O-D Data. This study estimates cost-minimizing required commuting distance, given the actual distributions of jobs and housing , and compares required commuting distances with actual commuting distances. One of findings is that the standard urban economic theory explains only 1/3 of actual commuting in the case study area. The policy implication of this study is that jobs-housing balance policy will have only a minor effect on the actual commuting.

사업장 출.퇴근 재해의 산재보험적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on Application of Worker's Compensation Insurance to an Commuting-Time Accident)

  • Currently, in Korea, an accident that takes place during a worker's commuting is generally not considered as work-related accident. However, there are several exceptions such as an accident that occurs in commuting while using transportation provided by an employer, an accident that happens during commuting time that can be regarded as part of a business activity (e.g. tending to work instructed by an employer on the way to or from work), and an accident that is caused by insufficient facility management by an employer. It is even more so as the workers' commuting distance increases with expanding scale of a city, and traffic accident occurs more frequent. Social risk of commuting-time accident is on the rise. Under this circumstance, it is an important social issue to explore how to protect workers from commuting-time accident.

주말부부의 결혼만족도와 가족건강성 - 주말부부 남편과 아내의 비교 - (A Study on Marital Satisfaction ana Family Strengths in Commuting Couples - Comparison of Husband and Wife in Commuting Couples -)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the marital satisfaction and family strengths among 134 commuting couples (268 individuals) living in Korea, who have been commuting for at least six months. The major findings obtained from this study are summarized as follows: 1) The degree of marital satisfaction of the husband and wife in commuting couples was 5.12 and 4.96, respectively, on a scale of 0-7.0. The important factors of marital satisfaction in the husband were the number of children, self-esteem and the degree of coping strategy, whereas for the wife they were the educational degree, kind of job, self-esteem and degree of coping strategy. 2) The degree of family strengths of husband and wife in commuting couples was 3.75 and 3.77, respectively, on a scale 0-5.0. The significant factors of the family strengths in the husband were relied on the person who moved, meeting cycle of conjugal, conjugal periods, self-esteem and the degree of coping strategy, whereas for the wife they were the educational degree, religion, kind of job, commuting periods, the person who moved, meeting cycle of conjugal, self-esteem and the degree of coping strategy. 3) There was a close correlation between the marital satisfaction and family strengths in the husband and wife of commuting couples.

우리나라 대도시권 통근 효율성 비교: MAUP 회피를 위한 Constrained Monte-Carlo Simulation의 활용 (Commuting Efficiency Comparison of Metropolitan Areas in South Korea: Application of Constrained Monte-Carlo Simulation to Avoid the MAUP)

  • 통근 패턴의 효율성을 평가하기 위해 초과 통근율과 통근 잠재력 사용률과 같은 다양한 통근 지표들이 개발되고 사용되어 왔다. 이들 지표들을 활용하여 대도시권의 통근 패턴 차이를 밝히고, 이를 통근 정책 수립 과정에서 고려할 수 있기에 지표를 합리적으로 산출하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 그런데, 통근 지표는 일반적으로 행정구역 단위로 산출되기 때문에 공간단위 수정가능성의 문제(MAUP)로부터 자유롭지 못하다는 한계가 있다. 이 문제는 대도시권 간 통근 효율성 비교의 합리성을 저해하기 때문에 통근 지표 산출 과정에서 조심스럽게 다뤄져야 할 필요가 있다. 따라서, 본 연구는 몬테 카를로 시뮬레이션을 활용하여 최적, 실제, 그리고 최대 통근 거리를 산출하고, 이를 통해 초과 통근율과 통근 잠재력 사용률을 제시한다. 몬테 카를로 시뮬레이션을 우리나라의 사정에 맞게 적용하기 위해서, 시뮬레이션에 사용되는 주거지와 근무지가 실제 건물의 위치에서 선택되어야 한다는 제약 조건을 가한 제약조건부 몬테카를로 시뮬레이션을 실시한다. 2016년 가구통행실태조사 데이터를 이용하여 광역도시계획이 수립된 13개 대도시권을 대상으로 분석을 진행한다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 산출된 통근 지표는 기존 방법을 통해 산출된 결과와 미미한 수준의 차이를 보였다. 대도시권 간 통근 효율성 비교 결과 직주의 물리적 균형의 정도가 유사하더라도 실제 통근 패턴은 상이하게 나타난다는 점이 확인되었다. 향후 면적과 같은 대도시권별 특성을 고려한 추가적인 연구가 필요할 것으로 생각된다.
