The purpose: This study was to get database of health service for smoking prevention through investigating the state of the students' experience, knowledge and attitude on smoking. Method: The subjects were cosisted of 545 students who were currently enrolled in 3, 4, 5 and 6th grade of 4 primary school in J community. The instruments for this study were Smoking Knowledge and Smoking Attitude questionaire (40 items) developed by WHO(l982). Frequency, percentage, t-test, ANOY A and Chi- square test with SAS program were used to analyze the data. Result: Among the students 10.8% answered they had the experience of smoking, while 0.5% said they are current smokers. The experience of smoking related to general characteristics were showed significantly different according to sex, grade and received or not received of smoking exhort. With regard to smokers smoking behavior, first beginning time of smoking was most by 29.8% preschooler and the first motive of smoking was most by 80.8% curiosity. The main smoking area is most by 31.1 % own house or friend's house. The main purchase route of tobacco appeared by thing which house(father or brother's tobacco) most by 34.9%. Smoking period was most less than 1 day and smoking frequency was most stops while bum sometimes. The amount for a day was less than one cigarette. Smoking time was appeared highest when curiosity occurs. Students' knowledge level about smoking prevention is high comparatively to mean 15.44(±2.66). Smoking prevention knowledge level related to general characteristics were showed significantly different according to the grade, academic score and learned or not of smoking prevention. Therefore, was expose that the smoking prevention knowledge level is high in students who results high grade, high academic score level and learned of smoking prevention. Students' attitude level about smoking prevention was high level to mean 55.90(±3.58). Smoking prevention attitude level related to general characteristics were showed significantly different according to academy score and received or not of smoking exhort(t=2.33, p=.020). Therefore, was expose that the smoking prevention attitude level is high in students who result high academic score level and received of smoking exhort group. Conclusion: It follows from this study that education for smoking prevention should be continued from lower grade students and teaching for refusal skill against smoking is needed.
This research is based on core competency in order to provide diverse educational opportunities and to train compatible human resources according to industrial change. The research set up the core competency of university students according to document research and the importance of core competency of students, professors, faculty and parents. As a result, a total of 14 competencies were deducted by importance and validation from enrolled students, graduated students and professors. A total of 5 core competencies and 14 detailed competencies were deducted. Creativity, problem solving ability, self-directed overall problem solving abilities, expertise ability, data processing ability, technology application according to industry, consideration and serving character, community service, communicational ability, self-management, inter personal relationship, foreign language ability, global, leadership and competence were the 14 elements of this research. Based on the result of this study, it is necessary to improve the competence of university students by applying them to the curriculum development and operation and to find out the extent of the students competence enhancement through the development of future capacity measuring tools.

Today, Korean medical community faces rapid changes in medical environment due to opening of medical market, more emphasis on making profit and introduction of private medical insurance. Therefore, it is apparent that around, major university hospitals, efforts are being made to adapt to such changes by establishing mid to long range strategic plans. We want to keep pace with changing times and diverse demand of patients by introducing state of the art system, utilizing Ubiquitous technologies for improvements. In doing so, we want to distinguish our hospital services from others. However, Hospital Information System that integrates ubiquitous technologies are introduced in limited basis due to problems like standardization and limits on medical use etc. Particularly, problems like absence of tag design suitable for medical environment, compatibility and extension issue with RFID system need to be addressed on application of RFID technologies. In order to solve such problems, this paper implemented RFID tag system, RFID-SIP UA program, location tracking program. This paper provides a comprehensive basic review of RFID and SIP model suggests the evolution direction of further advanced RFID application service. The design of RFID-SIP application offers advance RFID system with drawback and reduction search time of medical object. so there is a improvement of hospital information system in ubiquitous environment.

This study investigated the common features of the best practices in the science classroom, which is the core of school education. The underlying assumption of this research is that the fulfillment of school education is possible with substantial instruction of school curricular areas. The substantial learning of any curricular area depends on each classroom lesson. Data from classroom observations in-depth interviews with teachers and a group of students, a collection of instructional materials were used to extract common characteristics of best practices implemented by 10 exemplary secondary-school science teachers. Common features of best science practices were analyzed in terms of (1)reorganization of science content, (2)pedagogical skills, (3)evaluation, and (4)teachers' efforts for professional development. Results indicated that exemplary science teachers adapted curriculum and textbook content according to students' level and learning context, were able to use a variety of instructional methods and strategies, provided cooperative and intellectually challenging learning environment, and improved their instruction based on assessment results. Also, these exemplary teachers not only improved their own classroom practices, but also participated actively in various professional community of science teachers to share their practical knowledge with their colleagues. They took an active role in teachers' in-service education.

Subalpine zone is geographically vulnerable to climate change. Forest vegetation in this zone is one of the important basic indicator to observe the influence of climate change. This study was conducting phytosociological community classification and endemic-rare plants investigation based on vulnerable species to climate change at the subalpine zone, Mt. Jiri. Vegetation data were collected by 37 quadrate plots from March to October, 2015. In order to understand the species composition of plant sociological vegetation types and the ecological impacts of species, we analyzed the layer structure of vegetation type using important values. Vegetation type was classified into eight species groups and five vegetation units. The vegetation types can be suggested as an indicator on the change of species composition according to the future climate change. There were 9 taxa endemic plants and 17 taxa rare plants designated by KFS(Korea Forest Service) where 41.2% of them were the northern plant. Endemic-rare plants increased as the altitude of vegetation unit increase. Importance value analysis showed that the mean importance value of Abies koreana was highest of all vegetation units. Based on analysis of each layer, all units except vegetation unit 1 were considered to be in competition with the species such as Quercus mongolica and Acer pseudosieboldianum. The results of this study can be a basic data to understand the new patterns caused by climate change. In addition, it can be a basic indicator of long-term monitoring through vegetation science approach.
This study is to explore experience on the inter-organizational linkages for vocational rehabilitation of people with psychiatric disabilities and to find out predictors affecting the linkages. This study used triangulation a way as to combine the advantages of both the qualitative and the quantitative approach. The qualitative approach is based on grounded theory by Strauss & Cobin. The quantitative research used the samples of 122 organizations, and was analyzed by multiple regression & logistic regression. The results are as follows. First, as results of in-depth interview, interviewees perceived linkage experience as 'turning the eyes on the other organization in community', namely 'the pursue of collaboration'. This concept is classified four types: initiative, cooperative, authoritative and passive type. Second, according to Tobin(1986)'s five phase of the closeness of inter-organizational linkages, our linkages were found to be in third phase, "coordination". Finally, predictors of the attempt of having linkages & linkage strengthening were analyzed by logistic regression & multiple regression. 'The experience of professional training on people with psychiatric disabilities' and 'the resource dependency' have statistically significant relation with the attempt to have linkages. 'The length of current service', 'the experience of professional training on people with psychiatric disabilities', and 'recognition about other organizational activities' are significantly related to strengthening linkage. Based on the results of this study, alternatives for promoting inter-organization linkages for vocational rehabilitation of people with psychiatric disabilities were proposed.
Social care service has grown much with the introduction of Long-Term Care Insurance, but it remains difficult to answer in the affirmative to the question: are we providing sufficiently good care? This study has its purpose in figuring out what conditions are necessary to realize good care in our society. The study has used focus group interview (FGI) as a way to acquire realistic knowledge on the conditions that create good care and its deterring factors. The focus group interview, which targeted long-term care workers and facility heads, was conducted three times from January through March 2014, with each session taking about 3 hours. The analysis showed that the components of good care were mutual understanding and recognition through active interaction, making a good relationship based on mutual trust and respect, professionalism of care worker with flexible judgment that provides customized services, professionalism of center manager with appropriate intermediation, and the tripartite partnership among family, elderly, and care worker. Meanwhile, the deterring factors of good care were identified as devaluation of care labor, ambiguous job description and abuse, unprofessionalism of care worker and manager, inappropriate interference and indifference of family, and the structural constraints on long-term care environment.
This paper consists of two parts: In the first part, we describe our work to build hierarchical knowledge base of digital library patron's research interests and learning topics in various scholarly areas through analyzing well classified Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETDs) of NDLTD Union catalog. Journal articles from ACM Transactions and conference web sites of computing areas also are added in the analysis to specialize computing fields. This hierarchical knowledge base would be a useful tool for many social computing and information service applications, such as personalization, recommender system, text mining, technology opportunity mining, information visualization, and so on. In the second part, we compare four grouping algorithms to select best one for our data mining researches by testing each one with the hierarchical knowledge base we described in the first part. From these two studies, we intent to show traditional verification methods for social community miming researches, based on interviewing and answering questionnaires, which are expensive, slow, and privacy threatening, can be replaced with systematic, consistent, fast, and privacy protecting methods by using our suggested hierarchical knowledge base.
For introduction of local autonomy system, local government enabled efficient supply of public service by local resident's request. Specially, local governments is doing effort of that organize various policy and a lot of budgets for social welfare promotion, but is interested relatively little in efficient use of social welfare finance and operation. According to these problem, this study measured efficiency of social welfare facility in local governments. The purpose of this analysis is to measure the efficiency of community welfare in local governments by data envelopment analysis(DEA), using data from 16 local governments in Korea. Input variance is GDP per capita in local, rate of welfare budget, rate of financial independence and local public official per 10,000 capita. Output variance is social welfare facility per 100,000 capita and park area per 1,000 capita, The results of the study are summarized as follows : First, There was differential in efficiency about social welfare facilities operation in local governments. 7 local governments(Busan, etc.) was an in efficiency. Second, some local governments(Incheon, etc.) must increase scale of input variance, and some local governments(Busan, etc.) must improve efficiency of input variance.
The purpose of this study was to classify the care needs of the older adults aged 65 and over and to identify characteristics of care need groups. This was a secondary analysis study using data from 2017 National Survey of Older Persons in Seoul. There were 50.4% in the general group without any support needs, 17.9% in the medical needs group, 14.2% in the welfare needs group with support needs of daily living or social activity, and 17.5% in the complex needs group with both medical and welfare needs. Significant differences were shown in most variables of the general characteristics, grading of long-term care or disability, financial burden and caregiving, health behaviors, health status, and life satisfactions among groups (p<.001). The complex care need group should be provided with integrated care service for medical and welfare through multidisciplinary team approach.
