우리식 환경교과 구성을 위한 기초이론 연구 -지역 공동체성과 생활세계의 복원을 중심으로- (A Theoretical Approach to Oriental Ecological Philosophy for Orthodoxy Korean Thought-Based Environmental Education -Regional Communality and Restoration of People's Real Life-)

  • This study is on theoretical foundation for orthodoxy korean style Environmental Education based on oriental ecological thought. The main theme is that various kinds of all the ideas related with ecological thought based on oriental thoughts for EE should be focused into Moderation, the core-concept of oriental confuscian thoughts. The Moderation has not meant just a personal enlightenment, as it has known to general people, it can be developed into social status core-consciousness for regulating the natural resource. So we should focus on this conceptual developing mechanism personal enlightenment into social status for our orthodoxy konean style EE. It can be infered from Taoism, Confuscionism Buddism, especially, Anxiety Consciousness (WOOHWAN) for grand-scale anxiety to public society and universal cosmos. And also I drawed Harbermas-philosophy to provide good means for fortifying this research. His communication theory and restoration of real life for public people communication can be connected to oriental thoughts in the aspect of reciprocative response among the community people. So our orthodoxy korean style EE can be erected on the community-based regionality and their public communication through reciprocative response process. We should try to make this surrounding conditions nature-familiar oriental philosophy has provided from ancient times in the aspect all the traditional thought has been eco-deterministic.

윌리엄 블레이크와 지식의 네트워크 -시와 과학의 소통을 중심으로 (William Blake and the Network of Knowledge: Centering on the Communication of Poetry and Science)

  • Although his mythic poetry deals with the fall and resurrection of Albion as the origin of humankind, William Blake (1757-1827) simultaneously links it to the professionalization and unification of disciplinary knowledge itself. He particularly takes a great interest in the cross-referential relation of poetry to science. He argues for the communication of poetry and science on equal footing with each other without the former's prioritization over the latter, or vice versa. In his works Vala, or The Four Zoas (1797-1807) and Jerusalem: The Emanation of the Giant Albion (1804-1820), on which I focus in this essay, Blake's primary problematic is to display strong conflicts among different systems of knowledge. I approach this issue in light of the ideological clash of Newtonian thought, Romantic thought, and postmodern thought. In his poetry, Blake thematizes the very clashes of these different thought patterns. From the standpoint of Romantic thought, first of all, Blake problematizes Newtonian Enlightenment. He criticizes abstract universalization both in poetry and science, which Urizen, one of four Zoas, propagates. Protesting against Urizen's Newtonism, Los values "living form." Thus, Blake demonstrates, through this figure, that poetic imagination and scientific organicism are discursively communicative. Blake, however, also questions the network of Romantic science and Romantic poetry so as to suggest what current critics would call postmodern thought. Blakean postmodernism pursues the self-similarity of organic structure in science and poetry. Precisely, Blake sees polypus as a proliferation of organic body; he arranges four Zoas' self-repetitive stories in a non-linear way. Blake aspires for the conflicting coexistence of different thought patterns.

장준하의 언론사상 연구 (Jang Jun-Ha's Journalism Thought)

  • 이 연구는 한국 현대 언론사상의 성격을 이해하기 위한 작업의 하나로, 1950~1960년대 월간 잡지 "사상계"를 발행하여 잡지 저널리즘의 영향력을 당시 주요 신문 못지않게 키운 잡지언론인 장준하의 언론사상을 고찰하는 것이 그 목적이다. 이를 위해 장준하의 언론에 대한 인식이 어떤 과정으로 형성되었으며, 그의 언론사상의 주요 논리와 의미는 무엇인지 고찰했다. 이를 바탕으로 장준하 언론사상의 성격과 관련되는 문제들을 검토했다. 연구 결과 "사상계" 창간 당시부터 일관되게 나타나는 장준하의 언론사상의 토대는 지식청년층을 계몽하려는 민족주의적 계몽언론사상이라고 할 수 있다. 여기에 1950년대 말부터 일종의 해설저널리즘 또는 방향제시 저널리즘의 성격도 보였다. 1962년이후 "사상계"에 대한 정치적 탄압이 심해지면서, 그의 언론사상은 일종의 주창 저널리즘의 성격이 강하게 나타났다고 평가된다. 장준하의 언론사상은 당시 한국 언론계와 학계에서 새롭게 인식되던 구미의 언론개념과 이론을 이해하고 수용하여 당시로서는 선진적인 사상이었다고 할 수 있다. 또한 그의 주장과 논리는 언제나 구체적인 실천과 행동으로 이어졌다는 점에서 설득력이 있었다고 평가된다.

중학생을 대상으로 한 수학적 의사소통의 지도 효과에 관한 연구 (Effects of communication in learning middle grade school Mathematics)

  • This study investigated the effect of teaching mathematical communication in mathematics learning. Cooperative learning, mathematics pin pals, and writing a mathematics diary were used to teach how to communicate mathematically. The experimental group was assigned to cooperate in class, to write a mathematics diary at the end of each class, and to exchange the mathematics pen pals once a week. The control group was taught by the traditional teaching method. The results were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The learning achievement between the two groups was performed with pretests and posttests. And after this study, mathematics pen pals, video protocol and open-ended test were analyzed. The results of this study are the following: 1. There were little differences in learning achievement test between the group taught through communication and those not. And there were little differences in the results of achievement test between the two groups-high and low level classes.2. Cooperative learning, writing a mathematics diary and mathematics pen pals were effective as methods of teaching communication mathematically. The analysis of mathematics pen pals which is to investigate student's writing abilities showed that pen pal partners were improved in QCAI communication levels. There was a significant difference between the two groups in open-ended test. This means that communication learning has an effect on the tests for mathematical thought, reasoning, and creative thought. The analysis of video protocol showed that four students in a cooperative group were improved in their speaking and listening abilities.

Public Perception and Communication Patterns Pertaining to Nuclear Power in Korea: Focusing on the Transition Period from Pro-nuclear to De-nuclear Policy

  • Background: An effective communication strategy for reducing conflicts in South Korea has been designed through the analysis of public perception and communication variables on nuclear power under the conditions of rapidly changing nuclear power policies. Materials and Methods: This study conducted both qualitative research through group discussions based on social psychology and quantitative research through surveys. Results and Discussion: Nuclear power plant (NPP) area residents in favor of nuclear power indicated higher levels of communication, safety perception, and contribution than those against it. NPP area residents trusted the civilian expert groups (18.3%) and local government (17.3%) the most, while metropolitan city residents trusted the Nuclear Safety and Security Commission and the Korea Institute of Nuclear Safety (20.7%) the most. In determining nuclear power policy, both the NPP area residents (18.1%) and metropolitan city residents (17.1%) prioritized safety, health, and the environment. While metropolitan city residents thought that energy security and economic growth (16.4%) were important, NPP area residents thought the current issue of spent fuel rods (14.1%) to be important. Conclusion: It is necessary for the nuclear power industry to have and actively implement communication and conflict resolution strategies based on the patterns obtained in the study results.

은상(殷商)시기 갑골문(甲骨文)에 나타난 커뮤니케이션 속성(屬性) (A Study of Communication Factor in the Chinese augury bone)

  • 갑골문이 커뮤니케이션 속성을 가진 커뮤니케이션 텍스트인 이유는 갑골문니 커뮤니케이션 개념 및 구성 요소 모두를 갖추고 있는 인간의 커뮤니케이션 현상으로서 커뮤니케이션 연구 대상으로 충분히 설명 가능하기 때문이다. 송신자는 갑골에 새길 내용을 정한 사람이고, 메시지는 새겨진 문자이며, 매체는 거북이나 짐승의 뼈이고, 수용자는 갑골문을 읽은 사람이며, 효과는 독해를 통한 인지(認知) 및 그에 따른 행동이고, 커뮤니케이션 상황은 이러한 일련의 시공간적 환경 등으로 설명할 수 있는 것이 그 근거이다. 중국 은상(殷商)시기의 커뮤니케이션 수단으로서 갑골문이 문자성 및 전래성을 갖는다는 것은 커뮤니케이션 역사 텍스트로서 손색이 없음을 뒷받침한다. 갑골문은 커뮤니케이션 도구인 문양 부호 문자로서의 속성을 갖추고 있고, 왕실 기록과 같은 내용 면에서 당시 사회 현상 전반이라는 메시지나 콘텐츠를 담고 있으며, 갑골 관리자였던 정인(貞人)이나 구인(龜人)의 역할은 오늘날 언론인의 역할과 유사하고, 문서처럼 정리 분류하여 체계적으로 관리 보관되었다는 점 등 또한 이를 뒷받침한다. 당시 사회의 의식과 가치관을 반영하고 있다는 점에서 갑골문은 커뮤니케이션 사상사 연구의 텍스트가 된다. 갑골문 서체 및 그 힘의 강약 변화가 종교적 가치관의 강약에 따라 달라졌다든가, 갑골문 기록인 왕명에서 정치 이데올로기를 분석해 낼 수 있다든지, 갑골문에 새겨진 10간 12지가 음양오행설과 결부되어 중국 철학 원리의 구성 요인이 된 것 등이 그 근거이다. 그러나 본 연구는 갑골문에 대한 연구 시각 넓히기를 위해 던지는 화두에 그치는 초보적 시론인 만큼, 분석의 심층성 및 방법론의 정치성 등에서 부족한 부분은 갑골문에 대한 학제간 연구, 인구의 양적 확산 및 질적 발전으로 인하여 보다 생산적으로 극복 가능하리라고 믿기 때문에 이후의 연구 과제로 남겨 둔다.

외식업 종사자의 소통에 관한 고객과 종사자의 인식 차이: 소통능력과 공감능력의 인식과 소통만족에 관하여 (The Difference on Perception of Restaurant Servers' Communication Competence between Customers and Workers: A Study on Communication Skill, Empathy Skill, and Satisfaction of Communication)

  • 이 연구는 외식산업 종사자의 소통과 공감능력에 대한 고객과 종사자의 인식이 소통만족에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 이 연구를 위해 715명의 고객과 종사자를 대상으로 외식산업 종사자의 소통능력, 공감능력과 소통만족에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 고객과 종사자 모두가 외식산업 종사자의 소통능력을 높게 인식할수록 소통만족이 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 종사자는 고객보다 종사자의 소통능력을 더 높게 평가하고 있다. 둘째, 고객과 종사자 모두 외식산업 종사자의 공감능력을 높게 인식할수록 소통만족이 높게 나타났으며, 종사자는 고객보다 종사자의 공감능력을 더 높게 인식한다. 셋째, 소통만족에 대한 고객과 종사자 두 집단 간의 차이에서, 종사자는 고객보다 소통만족을 더 높게 인식했다. 마지막으로 다중회귀 분석 결과를 보면, 고객의 경우는 종사자의 소통능력과 공감능력에 대한 인식이 모두 소통만족에 영향을 미쳤으며, 종사자의 경우 종사자의 소통능력에 대한 인식만 소통만족에 영향을 미쳤다. 이는 공감능력 인식의 영향이 소통능력 인식에 함께 포함되었기 때문인 것으로 보인다. 이 연구는 외식산업 매장의 소통 차원에서 고객과 종사자의 인식 차이를 분석하여 향후 이 간극을 좁혀야 할 필요와 방향을 확인하였다는 데 의미가 있다.

증명의 수리철학적 분석과 지도 방향 탐색 (The National of Proof and the Improvement of Proof Education - In the Perspective on the Philosophy of Mathematics -)

  • This thesis analyzes the nature of proof in the perspective on the philosophy of mathematics. such as absolutism, quasi-empiricism and social constructivism. And this thesis searches for the improvement of teaching proof in the light of the result of those analyses of the nature of proof. Though the analyses of the nature of proof in the perspective on the philosophy of mathematics, it is revealed that proof is a dynamic reasoning process unifying the way of analytical thought and the way of synthetical thought, and plays remarkably important roles such as justification, discovery and conviction. Hence we should teach proof as a dynamic reasoning process unifying the way of analytic thought and the way of synthetic thought, avoiding the mistake of dealing with proof as a unilaterally synthetic method. At the same time, we should make students have the needs of proof in a natural way by providing them with the contexts of both justification and discovery simultaneously. Finally, we should introduce the aspect of proof that can be represented as conviction, understanding, explanation and communication to school mathematics.

The Poetics of Language: Reality, Thought, Language and the World

  • The paper argues for the necessicity of revising many fundamental concepts that we use in everyday situations and in communication such as reality, thought, language, the world and finally the truth. The paper develops the argument that what the word ′truth′ actually signifies cannot be addressed just by explicating what philosophy, science or even religion denote but that it can only be answered fully by the study of language and therefore in a larger context linguistics. Language is the very tool that enriches the communication between one another due to its diverse significations that one may use when expressing one′s views, thereby making life more enjoyable. The paper develops why the above corresponding argument should be justified by developing three outstanding views as follows. The world or reality is indistinguishable from the common worldview that we associate with without the means of language. That the worldview is in essence inseparable from the mental and intellectual representation of it and the only means of expression lies with language. And finally, that the language is a complex signification in itself in every aspect. Language in short is the very essence of what we define as being ′poetic.′ With these arguments in mind, we may once again ponder the signification of Nietzsche′s words when he states that "to see science through the lens of art, and art through the lens of life."

대순사상의 궁극적 실재론 연구 - 인격성과 이법성의 변증법적 지양과 종합을 중심으로 - (Ultimate Realism of Daesoon Thought)

  • The aim of this study is to determine the property of Daesoon thought in theory of God. The difference with precedent research is that this study catch the point in which theism as theology conflicts ontology as philosophy. It is elusive without philosophical analysis to detect this point for reasons of religious expression on scriptures. To find this point is beginning of academic communication at religious position. So I tried to draw boundary between theology and philosophy in Daesoon thought so as to apprehend Daesoon thought treats the contradiction of that. The contradiction is found that hierarchy between Sangje and taegeuk reverses on Daesoon thought. Fundamentally two substance can't be arranged to ontology but only one can be. It seems that Daesoon thought has got antinomy. However superiority of Daesoon thought is appeared at this point. The antinomy is just the process to absolute truth of Tao. That is a progressive system of thought in both religious and philosophical aspect. Finally, the result of this study can be organized with five items. First is to get new direction to study of Daesoon thought to catch the clash between theology and ontology. Second is that Daesoon thought can communicate the mainstream philosophy like Hegel's while the argumentation makes progress with Hegel's thought. Third is that Daesoon thought has originality in ontology of tao, mugeuk, tageuk as compared with neo-Confucianism. Forth is that theology of Daesoon thought has the possibility to peace among religions. Fifth is that Daesoon thought transcends religion and philosophy to absolute truth. Particularly, the noteworthy item is about peace among religions as theme of religious practice as the needs of times. The conflict of religion is very serious impact to historic future. So Daesoon thought suggests that all the religions harmonize with each other in universality and respect each other in distinctiveness. It makes it possible to aims for world peace beyond theory to practical orientation on religious creed. In history of philosophy the dialetic of Hegel is the very adequate to explain that principle. Hegel argued that human mind can reach to the absolute knowledge at 『Phänomenologie des Geistes』. He elucidates the process that mind attain the absolute knowledge through movement of negation at 『Phänomenologie des Geistes』. The dialetics leads all the process of mind to finality of the absolute spirit.
