Multilingual machine translation means the machine translation that is for more than two languages. Common transfer means the transfer in which we can reuse the transfer rules among similar languages according to linguistic typology. Therefore, the multilingual machine translation based on common transfer is the multilingual machine translation that can share the transfer rules among languages with similar linguistic typology. This paper describes the linguistic modeling for multilingual machine translation based on common transfer under development. This linguistic modeling consists of the linguistic devices such as 1) multilingual common Part-of-Speech set, 2) multilingual common transfer format, 3) multilingual common transfer chunking, and 4) multilingual common transfer rules based on linguistic typology. Validity of this linguistic modeling for multilingual machine translation is shown in the simulation. The multilingual machine translation system based on common transfer including Korean, English, Chinese, Spanish, and French will be developed till 2018.

An automatic transfer line consists of several stages(groups of stations) in series into one system by a common transfer mechanism and a common control system. In this system losses of the efficiency are evidenced in periods where a stage is forcod down- starved or blocked. The efficiency of an automatic transfer line can be improved by providing buffer storages between a stage or the length of line common senses there are several critical factors, system configurations relative position, and buffer capacity allocations in automatic transfer line are considered with a point of view production rates, average stock, and mean delay. The propose of this paper is to provide the robust designs by Taguchi method which improve the efficiency of four-stage transfer line.
Heat transfer enhancement and pressure loss penalty caused by three-row winglets built in three-row tube-bundles in an in-line arrangement, are compared between 'common flow up' and 'common flow down' winglet configurations. The 'common flow down' winglet-pairs recommended by the previous researchers bring about $10\%$ to $25\%$ increase in heat transfer enhancement and $20\%$ to $35\%$ increase in pressure loss penalty, in comparison with fin-tube bundles without winglets. For the 'common flow up' winglet-pairs, the spanwise distance between the trailing edges (${\Delta}y$) of winglet pairs was changed and investigated. Two types ot winglet are applied for triangular and rectangular shapes. In the triangular winglets with ${\Delta}y$=5 mm in in-line tube bundles, the heat transfer increased up to $10\%$, and simultaneously the pressure loss decreased by $8\%$ to $15\%$ for the Reynolds number (based on two times channel height) ranging from 300 to 2700, when the 'common flow up' winglets were built in. The performance of fin-tube bundles with triangular winglets is much superior to the rectangular one, because of the smaller pressure-loss penalty.

The validity of the analysis results was confirmed based on the insulation test results, and the vaporization mass generated in the common bulkhead was calculated to evaluate the common bulkhead propellant tank's insulation performance. The analysis results were validated by comparing the transient heat transfer analysis with the insulation test results. A transient heat transfer analysis was subsequently conducted on the common bulkhead propellant tank, considering the internal heat conduction in the propellant tank and natural convection heat transfer due to the outside air. This analysis extracted the heat flux generated in the common bulkhead and quantified the vaporization mass, a key indicator of insulation performance. Consequently, the vaporization mass was calculated at 0.09 kg, below the insulation design standard of 0.12 kg for the common bulkhead propellant tank, confirming it meets the insulation performance standard.

During multi-physics or multi-phase simulations accompanying fluid- structure- thermal interaction, data transfer problems always arise along non- matching interfaces caused by different computational meshes for each physical domain. Common- refinement scheme, among many available methods, is attractive since it is known to yield conservative and accurate data transfer for non- matching interface cases. This is particularly important in simulating compressible unsteady fluid- structure- thermal interaction inside solid propellant rockets, where grid size along solid- fluid interfaces is substantially different. From this perspective, we examine performances of common- refinement- based data transfer scheme between structured quadrilateral (structure part) and unstructured triangular (fluid part) meshes by comparing computed results with other data transfer methods.

The flow characteristics and the heat transfer rate on a surface by the interaction of a pair of vortices are studied numerically. To analyze the common flow up produced by vortex generators in a rectangular channel flow, the pseudo-compressibility viscous method is introduced into the Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equation for 3-dimensional unsteady, incompressible viscous flows. To predict turbulence characteristics, a two-layer $k-\varepsilon$ turbulence model is used on the flat plate 3-dimensional turbulence boundary The computational results predict accurately Reynolds stress, turbulent kinetic energy and flow field generated by the vortex generators. The numerical results, such as thermal boundary layers, skin friction characteristics and heat transfers, are also reasonably close to the experimental data.
This article presents an investigation of the effects on a grounding system of wireless power transfer (WPT) when transmitting over relatively far distances, that is, up to 1.25 m. Conventional two-coil WPT systems are sufficiently commercialized in strong coupling range, but it is important to accomplish the long-range WPT in weak coupling range for further various applications. This system depends on the coupling effect between the two coils that the grounds of the transmitting and receiving coils should be completely separated. However, when evaluating the performance of two-coil systems with the instrument consisting of two ports and one common ground, undesirable problems occur in weak coupling ranges, for example, obtaining disagreeable transmission efficiency and degrading system stability/reliability. We investigate the problems of the leakage power from common ground systems and provide a practical solution to obtain a reliable WPT system by using an isolation transformer. The usefulness of this approach is that it is possible to achieve the stability of the system with relatively far transmitting distances and to determine the exact transmission efficiency.

The flow characteristics and the heat transfer rate on a surface by interaction of a pair of vortices were studied experimentally. The test facility consisted of a boundary-layer wind tunnel with a vortex introduced into the flow by half-delta wings protruding from the surface. In order to control the strength of the longitudinal vortices, the angles of attack of the vortex generators were varied from - 20 degree to - 45 degree, but spacings between the vortex generators were fixed to 4 cm. The 3-dimensional mean velocity measurements were made using a five-hole pressure probe. Heat transfer measurements were made using the thermochromatic liquid to provide the local distribution of the heat transfer coefficient. Unlike common flow down, common flow up vortices moved toward the centerline as they developed and interacted strongly with each other but not with the boundary layer. Spanwise profiles of Stanton number were similar for ${\beta}=-20^{\circ}\;and\;-35^{\circ}$, but not similar for ${\beta}=-45^{\circ}$. The case of ${\beta}=-20^{\circ}\;and\;-35^{\circ}$ showed the two peak Stanton number, but the case of ${\beta}=-45^{\circ}$ showed the only one peak Stanton number.

In the present study, the effect of delta-wing vortex generators(DWVG) on the local heat transfer of the plate fin-oval tube was experimentally analyzed for Reynolds numbers for 2000, 2500 and 3200. The local heat transfer coefficient of the fin surface for four type DWVGs was measured by the naphthalene sublimation technique. As the results, the distribution of the heat transfer coefficient at rear of DWVGs showed longitudinal contours for common flow down DWVGs and wavy contours for common flow up DWVGs. The distribution showed many cell type contours at near wall and downstream for all DWVGs. Compared to case without DWVGs in present experimental tests, all DWVGs showed the best enhancement of heat transfer at Re=2000. Of 4 cases of DWVGs, D type showed the best enhancement of heat transfer.

In this paper, the necessary and sufficient conditions for strict positive realness of the rational transfer functions directly from basic definitions in the frequency domain are studied. A new frequency domain approach is used to check if a rational transfer function is a strictly positive real or not. This approach is based on the Taylor expansion and the Maximum Modulus Principle which are the fundamental tools in the complex functions analysis. Four related common statements in the strict positive realness literature which is appeared in the control theory are discussed. The drawback of these common statements is analyzed through some counter examples. Moreover a new necessary condition for strict positive realness is obtained from high frequency behavior of the Nyquist diagram of the transfer function. Finally a more simplified and completed conditions for strict positive realness of single-input single-output linear time-invariant systems are presented based on the complex functions analysis approach.
