The main purpose of this study is to investigate the technology related facts which determine the difference of the output of companies in the fields of IT and BT industries in Korean. The determining facts consist of the technology development strategy, the characteristic of R&D groups, and the ability of managing knowledge assets. Three kinds of regression model are made by using 3 determining facts from total model to IT and BT model to investigate the research purpose of this study. The technology development strategy consists of 2 sub facts, as technology innovation and product upgrade. The characteristic of R&D group consists of 2 sub facts, as the characteristic of task and the intensity of R&D group members. The ability of managing knowledge assets consist of 3 sub elements, as the ability of creating knowledge assets, the ability of holding in common knowledge assets, and the ability of developing the value of knowledge assets.

This paper present a performance evaluation method for Timed Place Petri Nets modeled by Live-and-Bounded Circuits (LB-circuits) through a bottom-up approach. The method can handle the case for the nets having common resources(CR). The target system is divided into the sub-systems by disconnecting the common Transition-Transition-Path(TTP) or Place-Place-Path (PPP) between sub-systems. The common PPP pattern is classified into Parallel Common Resource (PCR) and Sequential Common Resource (SCR) in detail for handling common resources. We evaluate the performance of each divided sub-system, and calculate the sub-systems affect on the performance of the whole system. The facts are generalized as a theorem. The developed theorem are applied into the performance evaluation of an automated assembly system shown in an example. All the results are verified by simulation.

This study investigated the situations and satisfaction of home-based occupational therapy service for children under eighteen residing in Suncheon and Gwangyang. Arithmetic statistics were conducted by dividing the general facts of home-based occupational therapy service, the kinds of service used in home-based therapy, the satisfaction of home-based occupational therapy service, facts helpful for children, and facts helpful for parents or home. As a result, the most common source of home-based occupational therapy information was the association for children with disabilities and its satisfaction was high. This study will provide basic materials to build up systematic, stable, and continuous rehabilitation therapy support projects by the government.

In recent years, customers and power supplies are interested in power quality. Demands of customers are change from standard quality of distribution power system to various high quality of distribution power system. so, it is necessary to apply power quality compensator, in our project, we develop the power quality compensator of 150kVA which compensates power factor and voltage sag, interruption. it is very frequently occurred power qualify problems[1,2]. As a series and shunt compensator, power quality compensator consists of two inverters with common do link capacitor bank. It compensates the current quality in the shunt part and the voltage qualify in the series part. In this paper we present the design and control algorithm of power quality compensator. As a control algorithm is implemented by digital controller, we consider sample-and-hold of signals. In this simulation, we use EMTDC/PSCAD V3.0 software which can simulate instantaneous voltage and current.

The purpose of this study is to analyze expression of pluralism in contemporary fashion. This study has three parts. They are to understand the concept of pluralism, to find the fashion environments of pluralism in terms of politics, economics, sociality, culture, science, and art, and to analyze expression of pluralism in contemporary fashion. The concept of pluralism in contemporary fashion is the diversity and compounds of fashion images. The environments of pluralism in contemporary fashion are multinational economic system, virtual world of internet. mass-culture and postmodern art. And expression of pluralism in contemporary fashion is analyzed into publicity. Publicity is expressed by using things of common lifestyle and the past that people used to and are well-known. Horizontality is expressed by coordination of male-female facts and property-poorness without high or low concept. Multi-nation is expressed by mixing various kind of national characteristics and Virtuality is expressed by layering and collaging complex facts that are not connected each other.

Purpose of the electric power system planning and operation is to supply the electric energy to customers continuously and economically. With the mutual exclusive laws of nature between reliability and economic, finding the meeting point is very important but not easy. Commonly the probabilistic reliability indices of the electric power systems are represented with negatively. And the effectiveness of FACTS on the probabilistic reliability could not be reflected with common methods. In this paper, a method to evaluate the probabilistic arrival power at each load point is presented. With this new proposed method, probabilistic reserve margin at load points can be calculated and which can be used with positive reliability index also. Using the P-V analysis, the voltage stability is considered in reliability evaluation. It is expected that the proposed method will be useful expecially in reliability evaluation of electric power system which has voltage restriction.

This article shows how general software-ergonomic principles are successfully applied in the design of user friendly graphical interfaces. A theoretical model(WOB-Model) is derived from empirical studies and validated in the development of several systems. It provides basic principles within a well-balanced framework and leads to concrete design guidelines. The user tests with the software shows that many of the common usability problems can be eliminated.

Conclusion In this essay I considered the relations of records and history, namely the process on the selection and choice from the records to the archives and the historical materials and in the process the role on the archivists and historians and difference and the relation of the facts and theory in the history. Archival science posits that an archives is the whole of the documents made or received in the course of purposeful activity, and of the relationships among those documents. Archival theory posits that it is the primary function of the archivists to maintain unbroken, continuing custody of societal archives, and to protect their integrity by keeping them physically and intellectually uncorrupted. The ultimate purpose of archival endeavors is to hand down to the next generations a reliable, trustworthy, and complete testimony of societal actions so that they can constitute sources of, and foundations for, future decision making. However, historical science searches for the truth in the historical facts, explains the cause and origin of the matters and reflects on th knowledge about the why and how the events happened. And history is firmly rooted on the philosophy. The goal of historian is analysing the nature of meaning of past in the society and tracing up the change and process of the transition. Archival science means historical source studies and other related disciplines. On the other hand archival management is the principle of respect for original order and the importance of original forms and conditions. Thus the relations between archival science and archives management are not one-sided but mutual. Archival science and historical studies, archivists and historians need to link more closely in order to hand down the contemporary memorial, the common memorial of mankind to the future.

This paper describes simulation and experimental results to analyze the dynamic characteristics of STATCOM, which is connected to the ac system for compensation the power factor and improving the voltage stability. The simulation and experimental results confirm that the scaled model for STATCOM can properly compesate the power factor of the load and regulate the bus voltage at the common connection point.
