This research aim concerns questioning how we can generate environments suggestive of nature fused with built environments through textiles. Through literature reviews and experiments with available the 3D imaging techniques of Holography, Lenticular and other new technologies. We also have researched towards finding the most effective method for 3D imaging techniques for textile applications. The advantage of the combining technique is to create the possibility of seeing a number of different floating 3D illusory images, depending on the viewing angle. This objective is to produce intriguing textile patterns and images in which the objects and colours change as viewpoints change. Experimental work was carried out in collaboration with professional textile researchers, scientists, artists and designers conducting research in this field.

This research study investigates the cultural significance and meaning of Thai Mudmee, their historical content, and the variety of the Thai Mudmee techniques, including patterns, symbol and colours. The aim has been to develop the traditional pattern and designs of the Thai Mudmee and produce contemporary textile pieces more appropriate for modern lifestyle tastes both in Thailand and Internationally. By reviving the Thai weaving tradition it is also hoped to encourage and maintain the continuous survival of tradition Mudmee, providing new sales opportunities and markets both in Thailand and abroad. Studying various attempts to redevelop traditional crafts in different countries brought to me the idea of how to develop folk crafts, the problems that occur in this area have encouraged me to express how folk crafts could be benefit from the design process. In this thesis I also express my recommendations for other researchers and the Thai government, as well as other people who interested in Mudmee design. The thesis concludes with the possibilities of how to improve the design of the Mudmee fabric and further areas of research.

To elucidate genetical and biochemical characters of the white egg strains preserved in National Sericultural and Entomology Research Institute(NSERI), RDA of Korea, the genetic segregation ratios in egg colours were investigated by crossing test, and egg pigment precursors were also analyzed by paper chromatography and UV-spectrophotometer scanning. The result obtained by crossing test between the white egg strains and normal one illustrated that the most of white egg strains showed typical segregation ratio of white egg-2(w-2), while maternal inheritance which can be seen in white egg-1(w-1) was not found in any white egg strains. Paper chromatographic analysis showed that egg extracts of all the white egg strains contained 3OH-kynurenine, while kynurenine which is known to existed in white egg-1(w-1) could not be detected at all. From the results of these experiments, it was found that all the white egg strains preserved in NSERI were classified as the white egg-2(w-2) strain.

Stage lighting plays a significant role in drawing out the mood and images that are intended by the choreographer. It is related to the dancers' movements and affects them both directly and indirectly. This study is on a reciprocal relationship between dance choreography and stage lighting, covering a broad range of functional factors of lighting effects on the dance choreography. Also, the data on preferred lighting colours and their frequency of usage are gathered through surveys by lighting specialists. The data is used to identify the lighting colour in general dance choreography. It is collected to serve the purpose of providing opportunities to acknowledge the needs of various colour changes on the stage. It is hoped that a collaboration of studies related in this subject are continuously promoted and researched in producing high quality dance performances.

The Christianity that spread to Egypt in 3rd century in A.D. is called Copt. Coptic Church built a lot of monasteries along the lower stream of Nile River, which produced thousands of text and paintings. Ethiopia is well known for its worship to Virgin Saint Mary and produced many paintings of Virgin Saint Mary in different costumes. The pictures usually came in foldable small books containing 3 pictures. The paintings usually featured Virgin Saint Mary and Jesus Christ dressed as royalty in crowns, saints and angels. There are saints on white horse, mirroring the oriental influence on Coptic painting. This research will look into the patterns and colours on the Coptic textiles, mainly tapestry.

In the design of any picture book, graphic artists employ the use of color, typeface and illustration to produce attractive book covers. This study is an analysis of selected book covers in the 'Africana Children's Book Awards' (Young Readers category) between 2009 and 2014. The book covers are mainly illustrations originally done in media such as acrylics and oil paintings on canvas. In the article, the author analyses the front covers in terms of hue, Saturation and brightness using a colour map. This work also discusses why certain colours have been used in the design of the covers thus; providing information on color scheme trends for picture books in the Children's Africana Awards Category.

Retaining wall is a structure to stabilize the land slope as vertical retaining wall have constructed to make efficiency use of downtown area. Recently to commune with nature and refine a apartment and structure, natural friendly relations for retaining walls are tried to construct. The surface of the concrete walls are weave in various figures and colours, and in some places plant a shrub. Laying a landscape stone which have disclose a plane nature one means keeping up the natural slope, constructively safely set a anchor in front side and rear side wall between the natural stone, plant shrub or ground coverings to give shape into a rock. Natural stone is exposed of surface and planting the gardening, to be a type of natural friendly relations however that will be recycled. The size of blasted nature stone which is irregular become more natural type of one.

Van Doesburg founded the magazine De Stijl with Mondrian in 1917. De Stijl movement was influenced by Cubist painting as well as by the mysticism and the ideas about ideal geometric forms in the neoplatonic philosophy. De Stijl proposed ultimate simplicity and abstraction by using only straight horizontal and vertical lines and rectangular forms. Furthermore, their formal vocabulary was limited to the primary colours, red, yellow, and blue, and the three primary values, black, white, and grey. The works avoided symmetry and attained aesthetic balance by the use of opposition. Vertical and horizontal lines are positioned in layers or planes that do not intersect, thereby allowing each element to exist independently and unobstructed by other elements In 1924 their different concepts about space and time were split between Van Doesburg and Mondrian. Van Doesburg launched a new concept for his art, Elementarism, which was characterized by the diagonal lines and rivaled with Mondrian's Neo-Plasticism. The works of De Stijl would influence the Bauhaus style and the international style of architecture.

In order to realize full color display, two approaches were used. The first method is the patterning of red, green, and blue emitters using a selective deposition. Another approach is based on a white-emitting diode, from which the three primary colors could be obtained by micro-patterned color filters. White-light-emitting organic light emitting devices (OLEDs) are attracting much attention recently due to potential applications such as backlights in liquid crystal displays (LCDs) or other illumination purposes. In order for the white OLEDs to be used as backlights in LCDs, the light emission should be bright and have Commission Internationale d'Eclairage (CIE) chromaticity coordinates of (0.33, 0.33). For obtaining white emission from OLEDs, different colours should be mixed with proper balances even though there are a few different methods for mixing colors. In this study, we will report a white organic electroluminescent device using exciton diffusion length concept.

The usefulness of a propionylated paper chromatography to the identification of various insoluble organic antioxidants in rubber vulcanizates was studied. Purified commercial antioxidants and commercially mixed antioxidants could be identified by the propionylated paper chromatography. Antioxidants were identified by the propionylated paper chromatography from acetone extract of pure gum vulcanizates, which were either unaged or aged in Geer-Oven. The $R_f$ values from acetone extracts of vulcanizates were a little lower than those purified samples, but the colours and shapes of the spots support the identification. No spot could be obtained by the method from the aged vulcanizate containing antioxidant 200 (2,6 Di-tert-butyl-p-cresol). This indicates that the antioxidant was converted or decomposed to other compound after aging. It was concluded from the above results that the propionylated paper chromatography is useful to identify the antioxidants from vulcanizates and presents a key for elucidating the mechanism of the inhibition.
