온라인과 오프라인에서 의류 상품 색상감성평가가 상품에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향 -흰색 티셔츠를 중심으로- (Effect of Color Sensibility Evaluation of Clothing Product on Attitude toward Product in On-line and Off-line -Focusing on White T-Shirt-)

  • Purpose of this study is to explore: 1) the difference in color sensibility evaluation, color attractiveness, and attitude toward the product, 2) the difference in the effect of color sensibility evaluation on color attractiveness, and 3) the difference in the effect of color sensibility evaluation on attitude toward the product between the identical clothing product presented in on-line and off-line settings. Experimental method was applied with 230 male and female university students using stimuli of an on-line site as well as an off-line window display presenting the same white t-shirts. Color sensibility factors of white t-shirt were hedonic, stimulating, active, and spatial senses. These color sensibility factors of the clothing product affected product color attractiveness as well as attitude toward the product. Although there were not differences in color sensibility evaluation, product attractiveness, and attitude toward the product between items presented in on-line and off-line settings, difference was found in the effect of color sensibility on the color attractiveness and attitude toward the product. The effect of color sensibility on color attractiveness and attitude toward the product was stronger in on-line than in off-line setting. Hedonic sense was the most important factor influencing attractiveness of product color and attitude toward the product. In addition, spatial sense affected attractiveness of product color in on-line setting; and stimulating sense impacted attitude toward the product in off-line setting. Based on the results implications were generated.

  • 본 논문에서는 웹 페이지의 배색에 따른 감성 평가치를 바탕으로 감성기반 웹 페이지 검색 시스템을 구현하였다. 구현된 시스템은 웹 페이지의 색상 정보를 자동으로 추출하여 데이터베이스에 색인하는 모듈과 감성 형용사가 주어졌을 때 감성과 관련된 색상 배색이 많이 포함된 웹 페이지를 내림차순으로 검색하는 모듈로 구성된다. 구현된 시스템의 타당성을 검증하기 위해 실제 웹 페이지를 대상으로 시스템이 검색한 순위와 사용자 설문조사와 전문가 평정에 의한 순위를 비교 분석한다. 사용자 설문조사 결과 18개의 감성 형용사 중 10개의 형용사에 대해 통계적으로 적합한 결과를 보였으며, 상/하위 5개의 사이트만을 고려한 전문가 평정에서는 14개의 형용사가 적합한 결과를 보였다.

Analysis of Visual Sensibility Evaluation of Naturally Colored Organic Cotton: Identification of Reliability and Proper Scouring Method

  • Objective: The present study was intended to identify (1) the intra- and inter-rater reliabilities of a visual sensibility evaluation protocol and (2) the effects of NaCOC color and scouring method on the visual sensibility of NaCOC. Thirty female participants(20s & 30s) were participated in the visual sensibility evaluation of NaCOC. Background: Interests in naturally colored organic cotton(NaCOC) increase rapidly in parallel with the social trend of eco-friendly living and wellbeing. Method: Three color sets (ivory, green, and coyote-brown) of NaCOC specimens including one untreated and four treated specimens($Na_2CO_3$; NaOH; enzyme; boiling water) were examined in the study. The visual sensibility evaluation was conducted by the test-retest method using nine pairs of bipolar visual sensibility adjectives(bright-dark; clear-murky; heavy-light; vivid-subdued; warm-cool; fresh-stale; strong-weak; showy-plain; and luxurious-cheap). Results: As a result of reliability of a visual sensibility evaluation protocol, inter-rater variability(average SD=1.06) of visual sensibility evaluation was more than 1.4 times the intra-rater variability(average SD=0.74). However, both the sensibility evaluation reliabilities did not show any systematic pattern of changes. Lastly, ANOVA and post-hoc analysis showed that preferred scouring methods for a visual sensibility adjective pair significantly vary depending on NaCOC color. Application: Both the reliability of visual sensibility evaluation protocol and the analysis of proper scoring method of NaCOC in the study would be useful information to design the affective textile.

줄무늬 셔츠의 시각적 감성에 대한 소비자 평가 - 세퍼레이션 배색을 중심으로 - (Consumer Evaluation on Visual Sensibility of Stripe Pattern Shirts - Focusing on Separation Coloration -)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate consumer evaluation on visual sensibility of stripe pattern shirts for separation coloration. The experimental materials developed for this study were a set of clothing stimuli and response scales. The clothing stimuli were 27 color pictures, in which separation color(white: W, gray: G, black: B), separation width(small: S, medium: M, large: L), and combination color(magenta and yellow: MY, magenta and cyan: MC, yellow and cyan: YC) were manipulated. The subjects of this research were female in their 20s to 30s living in Seoul, Gwangju, Daegu, Busan, and Changwon. The investigation was carried out at December 2013. The data were analyzed by using SPSS program. Analysis methods were factor analysis, ANOVA, and Duncan-test. Results of this study were as follow.; The factors of visual sensibility according to separation color, separation width, and combination color consisted of four dimensions of attractiveness, appeal, individuality freshness, and grace. Separation color showed an independent effect on appeal and individuality freshness. Combination color showed an independent effect on individuality freshness. Interaction effects of separation color and separation width on appeal were found. Interaction effects of separation color and combination color on individuality freshness and grace were found. The study results are highly expected to be used as useful sources in a fashion product.

시청각 복합자극에 대한 인감감성의 변화 (Effects of Multimodal Stimuli on Human Sensibility)

  • When consumer evaluates a product, every aspec of the product affects the evaluation. Human uses at least five sensory organs for the evaluation. Multi-sensory or multi-modal design tries to add auditory and olfactory factors to the traditional visual-centered design. For the multi-modal design, it is essential to understand relationships between combined sensory stimuli and human sensibility. Information between simple sensory stimulus and human sensibility is pre-requisite to combine multi-modal stimuli. This study investigated human sensibility against 8 colors and 30 sounds, presented independently. The combined stimuli of color and sound were made based on the sensibility generated by each stimulus. Human sensibility generated by the combined stimuli of color and sound were made based on the sensibility generated by each stimulus. Human sensibility generated by the combined stimuli was investigated with 20 female subjects. For combined stimuli that generated the same kind of sensibility respectively, generated sensibility was same but strength was diminished. For combined stimuli that generated the different sensibilities respectively, subjects showed neutral sensibility or no special sensibilities. Sensibilities to the same stimuli also showed difference depending on personal background of the subjects.

채색 플라스틱 거칠기에 따른 표면 감성에 관한 연구 (Research for the Sensibility Factors on Surface Roughness in Colored Plastic)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 시각을 통하여 채색 플라스틱의 거칠기에 따른 감성의 평가구조를 밝혀내는데 있다. 각각의 색채 샘플에 거칠기를 적용한 샘플을 피험자에게 제시하여 설문하고 분석하였으며 감성과 물리적 특성과의 관계를 파악한 결과 채색 플라스틱에서 거칠기에 의한 감성평가요인은 3개의 축으로 나타났다. 또한 5가지의 제시된 색채 샘플에서 거칠기에 의한 유의미한 감성평가의 차이가 있음을 밝혀내었다. 본 연구의 결과는 앞으로 플라스틱이나 기타 소재의 표면 가공에 있어 색채와 거칠기에 의한 표면 디자인의 감성평가를 위한 기초적인 연구 자료로서 활용될 것을 제안한다.

무전극 HID 램프의 색온도 감성평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Sensibility Evaluation on the Color Temperatures of Electrodeless HID Lamp)

  • An experiment was carried out to evaluate the emotion and sensibility evoked from the different color temperatures(CCT) of electrodeless HID (ELHID) lamp. For this purpose, three ELHID lamps and a metal halide lamp were used as the experimental light sources and thirty Korean adjectives related to the lighting affectiveness were selected for the evaluation. The results showed that ELHID lamps induced different sensibilities according to their color temperature. In particular, 6500 K ELHID was similar to metal halide which has the CCT of 5600 K in the evaluation. Based on the results, we suggested some Korean adjectives and their corresponding English ones which are thought to be suitable for the verbal descriptions of ELHID lamps.

Digital Library를 위한 텍스타일 프린트 디자인의 이미지 유사성 평가 (Similarity Evaluation on Images of Textile Print Design for Digital Library)

  • 이미지의 유사성을 결정하는 요인을 톤(tone), 즉 명도와 채도로 결정하여 정보 엔트로피를 계산하여 상관 계수를 계산하였다. 이미지의 톤을 알아보기 위해 영상정보의 색 공간을 RGB color space에서 HSI color space로 전환하였다. 이후 유사성을 판단하기 위해 이미지의 전체 픽셀수가 아닌 엔트로피 값의 범위에 따라 전체 70%의 픽셀 또는 이미지를 가장 많이 구성하는 세 가지 톤의 픽셀 수에 의해 결정되었다. 'Romantic'이라는 인간의 감성으로 판단된 18개의 영상정보를 선정하여 위의 모델을 적용, 이미지 유사성을 판단하였다.
