동요치 고정에 사용되는 복합레진의 색품질 평가 (Color quality evaluation of composite resins used for splinting teeth)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the color stability of composite resins used for splinting teeth by comparing a self-cure resin cement (Superbond C&B, SB), a flowable composite resin (G-aenial Universal Flo A2, GU), and a composite resin exclusively used for splinting teeth (G-Fix, GF) before and after aging in NaOCl. Methods: Resin samples were fabricated to a size of 2 mm thickness and 8.5 mm diameter and light-cured with an LED light curing unit (G-Light, n = 12). Immediately after fabrication, CIE L*a*b* values of the resin samples were measured with a spectrophotometer (CM-5) as baseline. Then, the resin samples were immersed in 5% NaOCl at $60^{\circ}C$ and the color was measured after 23 hours every day for 4 days. Data were analyzed with one-way ANOVA followed by Duncan post hoc test (p<0.05), and color differences (${\Delta}E$) of resin samples before and after NaOCl aging were also calculated. Results: For SB, there were no changes in L* and a* values but changes were observed in b* values. For GU, there were no changes in L* and b* values but in a* values. For GF, changes were observed in L*, a*, and b* values. All resin samples showed highest ${\Delta}E$ between baseline and the 1st day of NaOCl immersion. ${\Delta}E$ of SB, GU, and GF was 4.6 - 5.8, 4.9 - 7.9, and 9.9 - 16.9, respectively. GF showed highest color change during NaOCl aging. Conclusion: The results of this color quality evaluation showed that the composite resin exclusively used for splinting teeth might be more vulnerable to color change during intraoral service.

팬톤 올해의 컬러와 메이크업 기법을 적용시킨 아트메이크업 작품연구 (A Study on Art Makeup Works that Applied Pantone Color of the Year and Makeup Techniques)

  • This study aimed to analyze the relationship between makeup and Pantone color by reflecting the visual elements of modern people who react sensitively to trends, and to research and propose art makeup using various techniques based on the results. The scope of this study was the last 5 years for researching trend colors. The range of colors was from 2016 to 2020, and the research method was designed after examining makeup trends using Pantone colors from 2016 to 2020; the characteristics of color and trend makeup were analyzed to design art makeup using various techniques. With respect to research data, literature review was conducted on the makeup design using Pantone colors with trend makeups. By referring to data in Pantone's official website, the characteristics and meanings of each color were analyzed. Based on research data, illustrations were made and makeup was designed and suggested. According to the study results, one-color makeup created a stable and uniform mood as a whole and could highlight the characteristics of each color. On the other hand, the makeup design that mixed Pantone colors harmonized the complementary colors and created an original and beautiful makeup design. The researcher identified the relationship and characteristics of trend colors and makeup and suggested various techniques, and expects that by linking the effect of trend color with makeup, designs and visual effects that go beyond the limits of the makeup market will be suggested and expanded.

Changes of Behavioral and Physiological Responses Caused by Color Temperature

  • LED lighting has an advantage of adjusting color temperature. This change of color temperature may derive change in behavioral and physiological responses of the visual perception for indoor environments. This research examined the changes of behavioral and physiological responses caused by the color temperature. The environment was configured that the indoor temperature was 20 degrees centigrade or less as the perceived uncomfortable environment in winter. Then, the comfortable sensation vote (CSV) and the results of 3-back working memory test were measured as behavioral responses. In addition, the Electrodermal Activity (EDA) and Electrocardiogram (ECG) were measured as the responses of autonomics nervous system (ANS) in the three conditions of color temperature (red: 3862K, white: 5052K, blue: 11,460K). As a result, behavioral responses were not significant by the condition of color temperature, but the tendency of occupants' physiological relaxation appeared in the blue color temperature condition compared with the white color temperature condition. Although the color temperature of LED lighting might be a small factor in terms of the characteristics of indoor environment, it suggests that the color temperature could have an impact on the physiological changes in the parasympathetic nervous system.

  • This is a study on plate waste, management of the facilities and utensil, and for their hygenic management through the survey conducted at 106 enterprise located in Seoul institutional foodservice. Which were evenly divided into two groups; the white color and the blue color. The results are below: 1. Volume of food and menu were set in advance with no free choice. A campaign was launched to reduce food wastes. It was shown that free choice feeding was better in wastes reduction than none free choice feeding. 2. Hygenic management was relatively good in two groups. Machine and utensil usually sterilized by heating or disinfectant sterilization was performed at every using time or one time a day, but with no differentiation between two groups.

아파트 외부 색채 환경의 실태연구-일산 신도시 아파트 중심으로- (A study on the realities of color in apartment exteriors)

  • 우리 나라 공동주택 외부 색채환경의 현황을 조사하고 문제점을 파악하며 바람직한 외부 색채환경 조성방안을 모색하고자 한다. 조사는 일산 신도시내 아파트 표본 16점을 선정하여 아파트에 적용된 색상을 시감 측색 방법을 통해 주조, 보조, 강조 색으로 구분하여 측색 하였다. 또한, 배색된 색채의 면적 비를 산출하여 적용색상의 구성비를 조사하고 이를 통해 단지 내 색채환경을 평가하였다. 일산 신도시에 적용된 색채계획 지침을 검토하여 계획안가 현재 시행 되어있는 색채 현황의 비교를 통해 계획상의 문제점, 시공상의 문제점을 유출하였다. 현재 우리 나라 아파트 외부색채환경은 열악한 상태이고 색채계획도 초기단계에 있어 미흡한 부분이 많으며, 시행에서도 오차가 크다. 바람직한 색채환경 조성을 위해서는 지역별 특성을 살린 색채계획수립, 철저한 색채심의를 통한 색채환경 관리, 외장 시공기술의 향상과 표준 색상 지 보급, 건축가들의 색채에 대한 이해 촉구, 색채의 중요성에 대한 교육과 홍보가 요구된다.

  • As seen in constant reference to our modern are as the 'Information Age', our daily lives are flooded with a variety of information. Under such circumstance, efficient management and distribution of information are increasingly needed. When it comes to office environment, the role of furniture is very important because furniture must be placed in the office and it also serves as an essential component to improve work efficiency. As the importance of furniture increases, office furniture reflects diverse needs. That is to say, office furniture is used to partition space while reflecting mental and emotional state of workers in the office. At this backdrop, it can be perceived that office goes beyond a place where work is done. In order to contemplate how office and office furniture enhance work efficiency and create pleasant, delightful office environment, the study in this paper identified and examined overall color images of office, and color use and color preference in office furniture. The purposes of this study were: 1) to identify the use of and preference for color images of office 2) to analyze the color images of office furniture and understand its color use and color preference; 3) to understand the color use and color preference in office storage furniture.

무주 태권도원 현장 색채계획 시공단계 프로세스 적용사례연구 (A Study on the Case of Application of a Process at the Construction Stage of the Color Planning at the Construction Site of Muju Taekwondo Park)

  • In order to maintain and protect professionalism in color planning, the present study examined the process at the time of realization of color through color inspection and supervision in the actual construction site and suggested plans for improvement. Reflecting the characteristics that the governing body of the construction site is not a private person but an organization, the present study aims to provide institutional measures so that the supervisor of color construction at the actual site of construction can propose concerns related to proper construction at the right time, and the matters cannot be decided from the perspective of a layman. The institutional measures are proposed through the case of application of a process at the construction stage of the color planning at the construction site of Muju Taekwondo Park. First, the process clarified where the responsibility lies by specifying special conditions concerning color inspection on the field guide and color contract. Second, the sample for building materials was selected after obtaining it from a company capable of supply and is appropriate for the planned unit cost so that it could play an important role in realizing colors at the stage of basic design. Third, the process of construction was ensured not by temporary selection of colors but by continuous approval of colors in consideration of the conditions of construction site through letter of approval of color at each stage and point of time. Fourth, coordination of various color elements of other fields including landscape, interior, and electricity ensured construction of the whole structure in one color concept. Fifth, color inspection through the mock up of the site will minimize erroneous construction and reconstruction and prevent decrease in productivity. Sixth, this study also suggested more comfortable and positive color environment through evaluation by experts and users. The researcher of this study expects that color experts actively participate in the stage of construction to contribute to improvement of the color environment.

쌀가루 Beurre mani$\acute{e}$를 사용한 브라운 소스의 품질 특성 (Quality Characteristics of Brown Sauce Prepared with Rice Powder Beurre mani$\acute{e}$)

  • This study examined the quality characteristics of brown sauce prepared with rice powder in place of wheat flour, which is the commonly used thickener. With regard to the general components, as the level of rice powder increased and its ratio in the stock increased, moisture decreased and crude protein, lipid, and ash increased. Reducing sugar content was 4.72% in the control group, and as the mixing ratio of stock to rice powder increased from 100:5 (S1) to 100:13 (S5) in the rice powder-added groups, reducing sugar content increased from 3.94% to 4.82%, respectively. In terms of Hunter's color values, as more rice power was added to the beurre mani$\acute{e}$, L, a, and b values increased. Thus, a sauce of a light brown color was appropriately made. For consistency, as more rice powder beurre mani? was inserted into the analyzer, flow was reduced and viscosity significantly increased. The pH of the control (CS) was 4.94, and there were no significant differences between the control and the rice powder-added groups. In sensory evaluations, color presented its highest score as 6.47 when the mixing ratio of stock to beurre mani$\acute{e}$ was 100:7 (S2). S2 also received the highest score for flavor at 6.32. Viscosity was highest in the control (CS) at 6.26, and was not significantly different from the 100:7 (S2) or 100:9 (S3) groups. Finally, the S2 group had the highest scores for taste (6.21) and overall-acceptability (6.30). In correlation analyses between the sensory characteristics, overall-acceptability as well as the color, flavor, viscosity, and taste of the brown sauce all presented comparatively high positive correlations, in which overall-acceptability and color had the highest correlation.

음주제어를 중심으로 한 스마트 자동차 안전 관리 시스템 개발 (Development of Smart-Car Safety Management System Focused on Drunk Driving Control)

  • 현대인의 생활에 가장 큰 비중을 차지하는 자동차에도 스마트 기능의 탑재가 요구되는 실정에서 여러 가지 스마트 기기 및 스마트 방법에 대한 개발이 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 스마트 자동차 중에서도 안전관리 시스템의 주요 핵심 사항인 음주 및 졸음 제어를 위한 시스템 개발의 일환으로, 음주를 하게 될 경우 자동차의 시동이 자동으로 걸리지 않도록 하는 시스템을 개발하고자 한다. 이를 위해 영상처리를 통해 운전석의 운전자의 안면 색을 분석하여 음주 여부를 확인하는 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 특히 본 논문에서 개발한 음주 여부 판단 시스템은 음주를 하기 전의 얼굴 영상을 필요로 하지 않고 오로지 음주 후에만 독특하게 나타나는 얼굴의 색상 변화만을 대상으로 음주 여부를 판단 할 수 있는 방법인고로 실제 음주제어를 중심으로 한 스마트 자동차 안전 제어 시스템에 효과적으로 적용가능하리라 여겨진다. 실험은 30명을 대상으로 행해졌으며 이들을 대상으로 음주 후에 나타나는 얼굴색의 변화를 분석하였다. 끝으로 실험을 통해 도출된 결과의 통계적 유의성을 분석하고 제안한 방법의 유용성을 입증하고자 한다.

대칭형 들기 작업에서 사회심리적 요인이 근육 동원 형태에 미치는 영향 분석 (Effects of Box Color and Precision Demand on the Muscles' Recruitment Pattern in Repetitive Lifting Tasks)

  • In this study, the effects of psychosocial stress (box color and precision demand) on muscle activity were evaluated in laboratory setting. Eight subjects performed sagittally symmetric lifting tasks. Box color (yellow, black), precision demand (yes, no), and box weight (5%MVC, 10%MVC, 15 %MVC) were varied and surface EMG signals from seven muscles(medial deltoid right, biceps brachii right, lateral triceps right, latissimus dorsi right, erector spinae right, external oblique right, internal oblique right) were recorded. EMG signals were band-pass filtered($10{\sim}400\;Hz$), rectified, RMS smoothed and normalized (NEMG). Analysis of variance tests were conducted on the total NEMG (TNEMG: the sum of the seven muscles' NEMGs) and on the individual muscle's NEMGs. Box color had no effect on the TNEMG and on the seven muscles activities(p>0.05). When precision demand was required at the end point of lifts, the mean NEMG showed higher values than no precision demand conditions: TNEMG (14% increase) and medial deltoid(40% increase), biceps brachii(10% increase), lateral triceps(26% increase), latissimus dorsi(25% increase) muscles. Those increases showed more conspicuous as the box weight increased in the muscles of medial deltoid, lateral triceps, and latissimus dorsi.
