대두와 면 혼방직물의 염색에 따른 태의 비교 (Hand Value Assessment of Soybean/Cotton Blended Fabric after Natural and Synthetic Dyeing)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the dyeability, and the hand of soybean/cotton blended fabric after dyeing with natural and synthetic dyes. Soybean/cotton blended fabrics dyed with extracted solution from turmeric, sappan wood, gardenia and synthetic dyes(weak-acid dyes, reactive dyes, direct dyes). The hand value of soybean/cotton blended fabrics dyed with 6 different dyes was measured using Kawabata Evaluation System. The results are as follows; 1. The K/S value of the soybean/cotton blended fabric dyed with sappan wood extracts was the highest. 2. The color fastness of the soybean/cotton blended fabric dyed with reactive dyes was excellent. The fastness to the light of the same fabric was much better than the other fabrics. 3. Linearity of load-extension and tensile energy of the soybean/cotton blended fabric dyed with sappan wood extracts showed very high. Shear stiffness of the soybean/cotton blended fabric dyed with weak-acid dyes was much higher than that of fabric of dyed with reactive dyes. Bending property of the fabrics dyed with natural colorants(sappan wood, gardenia) showed very high, but that the fabric dyed with reactive dyes was very poor. 4. In the primary hand value, stiffness and anti-drape stiffness of the fabric dyed with weak-acid dyes showed the highest. Fullness and softness of the fabric dyed with weak-acid dyes showed very low.

한국 웨딩스타일링의 변천사 연구 (A Study of History of Korean Wedding Styling)

  • 본 연구는 오늘날 웨딩스타일링의 근간이 되고 있는 한국 웨딩스타일링의 변천사를 살펴보고 웨딩스타일링의 유행경향과 스타일 및 특징을 분석하여 개인의 취향, 개성, 정체성 등이 내재된 웨딩스타일링이 미혼여성 뿐 아니라 세계가 주목 하고 선호하고 있는 유행 아이템으로 받아 들여지고 있는 시점에 한국 웨딩스타일링의 특징이 어떠한 형태로 변화 되어 왔는지 년대별로 제시하였다. 연구결과 1960년대부터 현재까지 50년 동안의 한국 웨딩스타일링의 변천사는 결혼식 때 착용한 웨딩드레스의 형태가 시대에 따라 실루엣, 색상등 디테일의 변화가 있었으며, 개성에 따라 선호하는 스타일이 확연히 구분되어지고 있음을 알 수 있었고, 메이크업, 헤어스타일, 액세서리도 시대와 트렌드에 따라 선호하는 경향이 다르게 나타나 시대별 웨딩스타일링의 유행경향을 파악할 수 있음을 확인시켜 주었다. 이러한 웨딩스타일링은 신부의 외모에 뚜렷한 분위기 또는 의미 있는 특징을 부여하고 있음을 알 수 있다.

Spectral and Thermal Studies of Transition Metal PSSA Ionomers

  • Transition metal PSSA ionomers containing Co(II), Ni(II), Cr(III), Ru(III), and Rh(III) are investigated by IR, Far-IR, UV-Vis and DSC. Reliable IR Spectroscopic criteria are established for assessing the degree of ion-exchange of PSSA ionomers and the local structures around metal cations in them. In the hydrated transition metal PSSA ionomers, the ionic groups are solvated by water molecules and there is no significant interactions between sulfonate group and metal cations. The visible spectra indicated that metal cations are present as [M$(H_2O)_6$]$^{n+}$ with Oh symmetry. Their $T_g$ values increase as the extent of ionic site concentration increases, but there is no direct dependence of $T_g$ on the nature of metal cations or their oxidation states. Thus, the water content in PSSA ionomer is found to have dominant influence on $T_g$ of hydrated transition metal PSSA ionomers. Dehydration of the hydrated transition metal PSSA ionomers results in direct interaction between ionic groups and significant color changes of the ionomers due to the changes of the local structures around metal cations. On the base of spectral data, their local structures are discussed. In case of dehydrated 12.8 and 15.8 mol % transition metal PSSA ionomers, no glass transition is observed in 25-$250^{\circ}C$ region and this is believed to arise from the formation of highly crosslinked structures caused by direct coordination of sulfonate groups of metal cations. In the 6.9 mol % transition metal PSSA ionomers, the glass transition is always observed whether they are hydrated or dehydrated and this is though to be caused by the sufficient segmental mobility of the polymer backbone.

  • This study aims to classify the dimensions of the sales information of secondhand clothing goods on the C2C secondhand trading platform and to systematically analyze the components of each dimension. To this end, the NVivo 12.0 qualitative data analysis software was used. The content analysis showed that the sales information of secondhand clothing goods was classified into four dimensions: detailed information of the sale goods, information specific to secondhand clothing goods, seller opinion information, and service information. The components of each dimension were as follows. The detailed information of the sale goods included size, sale price, item, design, brand name, material, color, wearing season, fit, gender, etc. The information specific to secondhand clothing goods included the number of times the item was worn, its purchase history, and product condition. Seller opinion information included product review, sales motivation, notes for the transaction, coordination proposal, and usage proposal. The service information included the transaction mode, exchange·return·refund, and promotion. The frequency analysis showed that the highest frequencies were sale goods(37.47%), information specific to secondhand clothing goods(24.63%), seller opinion information(20.54%), and service information(17.37%). This study will help C2C secondhand trading platform managers or sellers establish clear standards for presenting sales information and developing ideas toward constructing differentiated platform contents.

한국 전통 의복에 나타난 모듈러 디자인 특성 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Modular Design Shown in Korean Traditional Clothing)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the characteristics of modular design observed in Korean traditional clothing. Modular design, which is one of the noticeable characteristics of modern fashion design emerged in the 20th century. This study analyzed the Korean traditional culture to investigate the characteristics that show similarities to the modular system in design. A traditional Korean house is composed of small structures called 'chae'. A traditional Korean building is composed of a basic unit space called 'kan', and the rooms are divided and recombined. Korean traditional interior design shows furniture, bedding and art works that could be used, folded then stored. Korean cuisine is served in combination with small dishes. Korean letters are combined in square shaped form to make writing and printing easy. Korean traditional clothing has a way of washing where clothing are disassembled, washed and then re-stitched. The pattern pieces are made to be rectangular shaped so that the fabric pieces can be kept in shape during washing. The rectangular shaped pattern pieces can be replaced and reused after washing. Tops and bottoms could be interchanged for color-coordination, because the shapes of the clothing were standardized. These features exhibit modular system in Korean traditional clothing design. Modular system design has common characteristics which have basic modules, pursue practical purpose, have interchangeability adapted to circumstances, and could be disassembled and re-combined. Korean traditional clothing illustrates different ways of practicing modular system, but has some common features to contemporary modular fashion design.

다수성 매실 품종 '옥주' (Breeding of a New Japanese Apricot (Prunus mume Siebold et Zucc.) Cultivar 'Okjoo' with High Yields)

  • 매실(Prunus mume Siebold et Zucc.)은 장미과에 속하는 과수로 한국에서는 전통적으로 기침이나 소화불량의 민간 요법 과실로써 사랑받아 왔다. 1993년 국립원예특작과학원 배시험장에서 '옥영'과 '임주'를 교배하여 그 중 과실이 크고 과형이 좋으며 풍산성인 '옥주' 품종을 2006년에 선발, 육성하여 새로운 품종으로 등록하였다(등록번호: 4556호, 2013.6.18). '옥주' 품종의 만개기는 '옥영'보다 4일, '임주'보다 2일 빠르며 꽃잎색은 분홍색이고 꽃가루는 없다. PCR을 이용한 자가불화합인자 분석결과, 옥주의 자가불화합성 인자는 $S_3S_6$이었다. '옥주'의 성숙기는 6월 하순으로 과실은 원형이며 봉합선이 얕다. 평균과중 18.5g이며 가용성 고형물 함량은 $7.66^{\circ}Brix$, 산 함량은 4.81%, 과피색은 녹색이지만 햇빛을 많이 받는 쪽의 과실 일부가 적색을 띄기도 한다. 또한, 검은별무늬병과 세균성구멍병의 발생이 비교적 적고, 수량성이 높아 재배농가들이 새로운 품종을 선택할 수 있는 기회를 준다는 점에서 그 의의가 클 것으로 생각된다.

허약노인의 복합운동프로그램 참여가 체력, 일상생활수행능력 및 인지상태에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Complex Exercise Programs on Physical Fitness, Activities of Daily Living and Cognitive Status in Frail Elderly)

  • 본 연구는 허약 노인을 대상으로 복합운동프로그램 실시에 따른 체력, 일상생활수행능력과 인지상태의 변화를 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구 대상은 21명의 허약노인을 대상으로 하였으며, 복합운동프로그램 운동그룹 12명, 통제그룹 9명으로 구성하였다. 복합운동프로그램은 유산소 운동 중심의 노인건강체조와 인지상태향상과 체력 향상을 위한 4색 래더 운동으로 구성되어 있으며 주2회, 1회 60분 운동을 10주간 실시하였다. 운동 프로그램 적용 전·후에 근력(상지, 하지), 유연성(앉아서 윗몸 앞으로 굽히기), 민첩성(전신반응시간), 보행능력, 협응성(Timed Up and Go test), 일상생활수행능력, 인지상태를 측정하였다. 허약 노인에 복합운동프로그램의 실시 유무에 따른 집단 간의 차이를 연구한 결과 운동그룹은 상지근력(악력)에서 통제 그룹과 비교하여 유의한 향상이 있었고, 일상생활 수행능력(ADL) 역시 유의한 향상을 나타냈다. 본 연구의 결과를 종합하면 허약 노인의 복합운동프로그램 참여는 근력(악력) 향상에 효과가 있으며, 다양한 신체 기능 및 인지상태 저하를 위한 예방 차원에서 효과가 있었다.

  • 최근 젊은 세대를 중심으로 정보의 유통이나 공유 수단으로 텍스트보다는 비주얼 기반의 정보 전달을 선호하는 경향이 뚜렷하며, 인터넷상의 유투브나 1인 방송 등을 통한 정보의 유통이 일상화되고 있다. 즉, 젊은 세대들은 대부분의 원하는 정보를 이러한 유통 과정을 거쳐 습득하게 되며 활용하는 상황이다. 또한, 많은 젊은 세대들은 자신을 개성있게 꾸미고 장식하는 데에 매우 과감하고 적극적이다. 얼굴 화장이나 헤어 스타일링 및 패션 연출에 있어 남녀구분 없이 적극적인 표현과 시도를 통해 개인의 개성을 거리낌이 없이 연출하는 경향이 있다. 특히, 얼굴 메이크업은 여자들은 물론이고 최근 남자들 사이에서도 관심의 대상이 되고 있으며, 자신의 개성을 표출할 수 있는 중요한 수단으로 인식되는 상황이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 시대적 흐름에 발맞추어 자신의 독특한 개성을 나타내기 위한 얼굴메이크업을 연출하기 위해 자신의 얼굴 모양, 헤어 컬러 및 스타일, 피부 톤, 패션 스타일과 의상 컬러 등과 잘 어울리는 얼굴 메이크업을 구현하도록 인터넷상의 유명한 전문 메이크업 아티스트 들의 유투브나 1인 방송 영상 중 관련영상을 효율적으로 검색하여 추천하고, 사용자의 평소 검색 패턴과 외모 특징들을 학습시켜 축적된 정보를 바탕으로 최적의 솔루션을 제공할 수 있도록 인공지능 기법을 도입하며, 추천된 영상을 통해 자세한 메이크업 과정을 실제 단계별로 수행하면서 메이크업 스킬을 습득하도록 하는 지능형 스마트 거울 앱을 설계하고 구현하고자 한다.

A Study on the Brand Characteristics According to Trends in the Children's Apparel Market

  • Despite the decrease in the number of children due to low birth rate, the domestic children's apparel market has been achieving steady growth as family income is rising thanks to more opportunities for working women, parents spend more on their children, and they prefer brand products that make their children look special. In addition, the market is suffering from hard competition as large enterprises have joined the race. The present study purposed to survey the children's apparel market in Korea, which is in a transitional period, and to contribute to the development of the market with Korean brands. For this purpose, we analyzed the characteristics of children's apparel brands in the 21st century based on the current state of the domestic children's apparel market and, based on the findings, forecasted the future trend of children's apparel brands, suggested improvements for expected problems, proposed standards for coping with changes such as diversification, high quality and differentiation in the children's apparel market, and provided consumers with information on how to purchase products. According to the result of analyzing the characteristics of children's apparel brands in the 21st century, brands are categorized largely into four types - life cultural brands, functional product brands, character brands and brands advancing to China. Life cultural brands equipped with all necessities for children are expanding, and with the deepening social problems of environmental pollution and the reduction of the child population, functional products made of environment-friendly materials are spreading widely, targeting infants and children. Furthermore, for extending age targets and diversifying products, children's apparel is using characters. The use of characters is expected to have a considerable effect on the growth of brands because children are more subjective as consumers than before and they are more easily persuaded with characters. Domestic children's apparel brands advancing to China have a high expectation of success in overcoming the limitation of the local market that has reached its peak and growing into global brands. Korean apparel makers are struggling to overcome the depressed domestic market, to recover consumers' consumption, to cope with market opening, to pursue high value of sensibility and to expand the seniors' market, etc. In this situation, future trends of children's apparel brands will be the expansion of family brands, brand totalization, quality price, niche market (pre-teen market), etc. In response to these trends, we made the following suggestions for improvement. 1. Children's apparel brands are evolving into family brands as well as into total brands through voluming. Today, however, apparel makers are advancing to the children's apparel market with the concept of adults' apparel and, as a result, children's apparel is merely adults' apparel of reduced size, having problems in design, color and materials. Thus, apparel makers must develop design considering the wide range of size and the characteristics of children's apparel, strengthen sourcing abilities to create revenues, and make thorough survey of customers to find common denominators between adults' apparel and children's apparel considering that characteristic that the target class is different from the buyer class. Furthermore, they must make active investments in human resources, develop outstanding products through advanced planning and design, and support marketing techniques and management systems to stores. 2. As the declining birth rate will continue to have a negative effect on the market, it may be difficult to expand the market size but there is still a margin for growth through high-sensibility and high-quality products. The competitiveness of brands is determined by their market shares. Accordingly, concepts should be specialized according to lifestyle, customers' diverse needs should be satisfied, and cross-coordination should be achieved within a brand. 3. Considering Korean parents who do not spare investment in their children despite shrinking consumption, functional products must be high value-added goods that can enhance efficiency. However, in the current situation of the infants' apparel industry where a textile manufacturer supply its products to multiple brands, it is difficult to develop unique products only based on materials. Thus, it is considered urgent to appeal to consumers not by relying on materials only but by finding methods of applying their own characters to children's dress.

의류제품의 충동구매행동과 의류점포 서비스 품질, 의복평가기준 및 위험지각의 관계 (Impulsive buying behavior of apparel products -Relating to store service quality, evaluative criteria, perceived risk -)

  • 본 연구는 의복 구매시 소비자들에게 영향을 주는 의류점포의 서비스 품질, 의복평가 기준과 위험지각의 관계를 살펴보고, 이러한 관련변수들이 의복충동구매행동에 미치는 영향을 살펴봄으로써 의류제품을 다루는 마케터나 리테일러들에게 소비자 행동을 파악하는데 도움을 주어 차별적 경쟁우위 수단으로 활용할 수 있도록 하고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구 결과, 의복을 구매할 때 소비자가 지각하는 의류점포의 서비스 품질과 의복평가 기준은 구매와 관련된 위험지각과 부분적으로 관련이 있었다. 또한 의복충동구매행동에 대한 의류점포 서비스 품질, 의복평가기준 및 위험지각의 영향을 살펴본 결과, 위험지각요인 중 소비자들이 의류제품의 봉제상태가 나빠지지 않을까, 세탁/관리하기에는 불편함이 없을까 등의 관리적 위험과 다른 옷과의 조화나 비슷한 제품을 더 싼값에 살 수 있지 않을까 등의 성과적 위험, 그리고 점포분위기나 실내장식 등의 시설서비스가 의복충동구매행동에 영향을 미침을 알 수 있었다.
