색의 결합효과는 개인의 경험과 기호에 따라 커다란 영향을 받게 된다. 본 논문에서는 색이 가지는 결합적인 단어에 대하여 살펴보도록 한다. 그리고 색의 결합 언어 작용은 인간의 경험에 의한 상징을 동반한다. 이렇게 색의 결합효과에서 나오는 심리적 치료 효과도 살펴본다.

Paintings can evoke emotions in viewers. In this paper, we propose a method for extracting emotion from paintings by using the colors that comprise the paintings. For this, we generate color spectrum from input painting and compare the color spectrum and color combination for finding most similarity color combination. The found color combinations are mapped with emotional keywords. Thus, we extract emotional keyword as the emotion evoked by the painting. Also, we vary the form of algorithms for matching color spectrum and color combinations and extract and compare results by using each algorithm.

One of the main motivations of this research process is to develop an adaptable VR model whose color can be changed according to the emotional information of user. This paper addresses how to define color scheme and combine colors with harmony. The adaptable color of the VR model consists of three processes: emotional keyword identification, the color combination and the VR model adaptation processes. We have used the biorhythm to derive the emotional keyword which is used to find the color harmony scheme. The color harmony scheme provides information for the color combination of the VR model. Finally, we have obtained the VR model which color has been changed using the identified color schema.

In this study, the properties such as color, dye uptake and antibacterial function were examined through the application of combination dyeing and mixed dyeing with extracts from Humulus japonicus(hwansam) and the pruned branches of Prunus persica(peach) tree. In terms of dye uptake and surface color changes subject to the kind of mordants, methods and mixing ratio of dye, it was found that fabrics dyed by the pre-mordanting method with $CuSO_4$ showed the red green yellow group colors, which were not seen in fabrics dyed with hwansam only. Color fastness was found strong at grade 4-5 with 96.3% of UV protection ratio. While the fastness to light was as fair as grade 3, it showed an excellent result of 99.9% bacteria reduction rate against Staphylococcus aureus with fair 58% deodorization rate and 21.2% antibacterial rate against Klebsiella pneumoniae. As stated above, the combination and mixed dyeing resulted in the meaningful outcomes with regard to color variations, dye uptake, color fastness and functional properties.

This study aims at suggesting the applicability of color combination based upon the characteristics of environmental color perception and the nuance concept of Natural Color System(NCS). The results are summarized below: First, NCS is a scientific coloring system in consideration of the relevance between people, light and environment, to be based on a phenomenological point of view. NCS can be called a psychometric model reflecting our natural color sense. Second, the color triangle established by NCS is one of the methods of expression based on the human visual mechanism, which is classified by two attributes of hue and nuance, not by the three color attributes of hue, lightness and saturation. The nuance concept of NCS implies the impression, atmosphere and tone that are perceived in colors, which are related to lightness and saturation. Accordingly, this paper suggests that the coloring arrangement emphasizing nuance and tone is more useful than hue in color planning. Third, aesthetic impression in environmental color perception is inclusive of instantly perceptive nuance, which is connected with affordance. The affordance is revealed by the different relation of similarity. In this regard, a strong relationship is noticed between color combination and the sense of pleasantness. The hypothesis regarding the complementation and similarity of contrasting nature is judged to provide observers with aesthetic order. Finally, this paper also suggests four harmonizing methods in the NCS color triangle based upon equal blackness, equal whiteness, equal chromaticness and same nuance. At the same time, opposition and a different concept of hue, lightness and lightness are combined complementarily with the nuance value to suggest patterns of color combination.

This study investigated color change of combination dyeing silk fabrics dyed with Turmeric extracts and Gardenia extracts after dyeing of Indian indigo. Experimental variables include the condition of dyeing time and concentration of Turmeric extracts, Gardenia extracts, arid dyeing cycle of Indian indigo. Surface color of silk fabrics dyed with Turmeric 77tracts after one cycle dyeing, two cycles dyeing, four cycles dyeing of Indian indigo was changed from 5.1GY to 0.3GY, 1.5G to 3.5GY and 6.5G to 5.8GY by increase of concentration of Turmeric extracts. On the other hand, Surface color of silk fabrics dyed with Gardenia extracts after one cycle dyeing, two cycles dyeing, four cycles dyeing of Indian indigo was changed from 7.5Y to 3.9Y, 1.2GY to 6.7Y and 4.0GY to 8.6GY by increase of concentration of Gardenia extracts. Its range of surface color was changed to green and yellowish green by increase of dyeing time with concentration of Turmeric extracts. On the other hand, its range of surface color was changed to yellowish and yellow by increase of dyeing time with concentration of Gardenia extracts.

This study aims to develop an fashion color design system based on personal color and sensorial images. This web-based system has a parallel structure which a user can search her own personal color, sensorial, and fashion images. The fashion image was presented according to the type of personal color image and sensorial image: futuristic fashion image from alluring image on all of personal color images; elegant fashion images from calm with pure/splendid images or faint/calm with alluring images; modern fashion image from pure/calm with alluring images or faint with lively images; plain fashion image from plain images with all personal color images but pure image; romantic fashion image from calm image with all personal color images but calm image. Fashion color and color combination palettes based on personal color images were presented with the each of those fashion images.

The importance of the community centers has been increased throughout the decade. With the interest on the centers, the quality of the architectural design of the centers have been much improved. But the importance of the interior design and color' design of the centers have been ignored. It is quite sure that the quality of the interior design impact on the satisfaction degree of the users. And color is the important element which can control the quality of the interior design economically. This study surveyed the three community centers in Seoul to investigate the status of the color usages. And to consider the user's need, and preference in color design, this study performs the questionnaire about the color image and color pallette preference of the users and interior design professionals. Mainly highly bright and low chromatic YR colors were used, giving rigid and monotonous atmosphere. The most preferred color image were warm, bright and secondly friendly, simple, soft, open. And the preference for pallette were various but we can find the difference of color preference and color combination type according to the user's group. As a result, This study proposes the basic guidelines for color design, such as ideal color Image and color and color combination type and color pallette. This proposals can be applied as a basic guideline for color design of the community centers.

색감정 형용사쌍을 이용하여 단색과 두가지 색을 조합한 배색에서 느낀 감정을 조사를 하였다. 열 개의 색감정형용사쌍을 이용해서 5개의 단색 컬러패치와 두가지 색을 조합한 10개의 배색 컬러패치의 색감정을 측정했다. 20명의 참가자들이 관측 실험에 참가했으며 같은 실험을 영어와 한국어로 진행했다. 실험 결과, 영어와 한국어의 색감정관계에서 언어의 차이는 크지 않았다. 두가지 색을 배색했을 때의 색감정은 각각의 단색을 평균했을 때의 색감정으로 대체적으로 만족스럽게 예측할 수 있었다. 그러나 몇몇의 경우에서 두가지 색이 배색되었을 때의 색감정이 하나의 단색의 색감정보다 강하게 나타난 경우가 발견되었다.

The color is one of the important key words in Fashion arena today. In fashion, the image and concept changes by use of color or color combinations. The purpose of this research is to pursue the characteristics of color and color combinations through analyzing the colors utilized in oriental fashion design. It is necessary to define the oriental fashion design to build a criteria for collecting law materials for analysis of the research. As a conclusion, traditional oriental colors already used in various traditional artifacts were popular in use by many fashion designers with volatile attitudes towards its original symbolic meanings or philosophy. For example, yellow and red stands for gorgeous or sexy images through fashion design instead of express its original symbols of power and prosperity. The Complimentary Color Combination in hue, value and intensity of colors were also found in fashion design impling oriental images. While Contemporary Fashion Trend Color were also used in expressing Oriental images with oriental details considering fashion market. In using Oriental colors The characteristics of oriental colors and its combinations used in fashion designs are significant and their influences are meaningful not only in fashion design but also adjacent design areas.
