의복스타일과 색상.톤조합이 인상형성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Clothing Style and Color, Tone Combination on Impressions Formation.)

  • The Purpose of this study is to find out the effect of clothing style and color, tone combination on impressions formation. The experimental materials developed for this study are a set of stimuli and response scale(The 7-point semantic). The stimuli are 36pictures manipulated with clothing style, color and tone variation by computer drawing. The subjects are 216 female undergraduate students and 216 female of middle age(40~50) in Chin-ji city. The resulte of this study are as follows : Impression factor of the stimulus was consisted of the 5 different demensions(attractiveness, elegance, activity, revealation, tenderness). Among there, attractiveness and elegance factors proved to be more important. In the attractiveness and tenderness, clothing style, color, tone combinations and perceiver's age had the significant effect. In the elegance and revealation, color and perceiver's age had the significant effect but in the activity, only color did not have the significant effect. Significant interaction effects of clothing style and color, style and tone combination, and color and perceiver's age on attractiveness and revealation were found. Interaction effect of color and tone combination was significant on the elegance and revealation, and that of color and perceiver's age was significant on tenderness.

일본 평안시대의 복식색채의장의 특성 (The Characteristics of Costume Color Design in Japanese Heian Period)

  • The Heian Period(794-1192) was the period when luxury and elegance flourished. Gorgeous colors were adopted for the costumes and an el-egant assortment of colors prevailed. Representatiove of such costumes is kasane-no-irome. The world Kasane-no-irome originally came from two colors on both sides of one of the japanese kimonos called Uchiki. In later times it turned to indicate the combination ef-fect of colors of several Uchiki's worn in layers one over the other. This paper describes in de-tail the kasane-no-irome in both meanings. In so doing I distinguish two different kinds of kasane-no-irome using a Chinese character for the formed and for the latter though both are pronounced Kasane in the Japanese language. Part one of this paper which concerns the color combinations of presents typical 148 samples through reproduced dyeing clothes by Matumoto. Part two describes the color com-bination of which was so called Junihitoe. It presents typical 41 samples from reproduced dyeing clothes by Matumoto. The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of color distribution and the structure of color combination in Kasane-no-irome. Therefore we obtained the following results in Kasane-no-irome. 1. The color combination of Kasane-no-irome came from the natural color harmony there-fore the names of kasane-no-irome which adopt the names of flowers and leaves of the foure seasons. Accordingly the seasons for wearing them are fixed. 2. In the hue the most frequent appearance was green. And in the tone the most frequent apperance was moderate. 3. In the color combination the most fre-quent type were monochromatic combination and contrast combination.

연두색 천연염색 견직물의 색채특성과 감성요인이 선호도에 미치는 영향: 쪽과 괴화의 복합염색을 중심으로 (Effects of Colorimetric Properties and Color Sensibility Factors on Color Preferences for Green Yellow Natural Dyed Silk Fabrics: Focused on Combination Dyeing with Indigo and Japanese Pagoda Tree)

  • 본 연구는 친환경적이고 감성적인 패션상품의 색채기획을 위한 자료를 제공하고자 수행되었다. 쪽과 괴화로 복합염색 후 무매염 견직물과 4종의 매염제(Al, Cu, Fe, Zn)를 처리한 견직물에 대하여 색채특성을 측정하였다. 또한 복합염색 후 매염처리된 연두색 견직물에 대하여 여대생을 대상으로 색채감성과 색채 선호도를 조사하였으며, 색채특성과 색채감성이 색채 선호도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 쪽/괴화로 복합염색된(무매염) 견직물은 선 염색한 쪽 농도가 $10g/{\ell}$이면 녹색, 쪽 $20g/{\ell}$을 사용하면 청록색을 나타내었으며, 4종의 매염제를 사용하여 처리시 거의 모든 경우 연두색을 나타내었다. 연두색을 나타내는 복합염색된 견직물 10종의 색채감성을 요인분석한 결과, 유쾌성, 품위성, 편안성 요인으로 분류되었으며, 이러한 색채감성은 쪽 농도와 매염제의 종류에 따라 대부분 유의한 차이를 보였다. 또한 복합염색된 연두색 견직물의 색채특성과 색채감성요인 간에는 대부분 유의한 상관성을 보여, $L^*$값, $b^*$값, $C^*$값이 크고 $a^*$값이 작을수록 유쾌성과 편안성 감성을 더 강하게 느끼며, $L^*$값이 작고 $a^*$값이 클수록 품위성 감성을 더욱 느끼는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 쪽과 괴화로 복합염색하고 매염처리한 연두색 견직물의 색채감성요인을 예측변수로 활용할 수 있는 색채 선호도 예측 회귀식이 제안되었다.

아이섀도 색상과 립스틱 색상 및 톤 조합이 인상형성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Combination of Eyeshadow Color, Lipstick Color and Lipstick Tone on Impression Formation)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of eyeshadow color (brown, purple, and blue), lipstick color (red, red purple, and yellow red), and lipstick tone (vivid, light, dull, and dark) on impression formation. Sets of stimulus and response scales (7 point semantic) were used as experimental materials. The stimuli were 36 color pictures manipulated with the combination of eyeshadow color, lipstick color, and lipstick tone using computer simulation. The subjects were 216 female undergraduates living in Jinju city. Impression factor of the stimulus was composed of 4 different components, attractiveness and gracefulness, visibility, cuteness, and softness, of which the first two were important. Eyeshadow color, lipstick color, and lipstick tone independently influenced the attractiveness and gracefulness and visibility. In the cuteness and softness, eyeshadow color and lipstick tone showed independent effect. In the interaction effect, the combination of lipstick color and lipstick tone showed significant effect on the attractiveness and gracefulness, visibility, and cuteness. Finally, it was found that the combination of eveshadow color and tpstick tone showed significant difference in the softness.

색상대비 물방울무늬의 크기와 면적비 변화에 따른 원피스 드레스 착용자의 이미지 연구 (A Study of the Changes in Dress Wearers' Images in Relationto the Changes in the Size and Area Ratio of Polka Dots Relative to Coloration)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of dot pattern size(0.8, 1.8, 2.5, 5, 8), color combination(BG/R, Y/B), area-ratio on image formation. Sets of stimulus and response scales(7 point semantic) were used as experimental materials. The stimuli were 20 color pictures manipulated with the combination of dot pattern size, color combination, and area-ratio using computer simulation. The subjects were 240 female undergraduates living in Gyeongnam-do. Image factor of the stimulus was composed of 5 different components, visibility, attractiveness, cuteness, stability and high class image. In the cuteness, color combination, dot pattern size showed independent effect. In the stability, area-ratio, dot pattern size showed independent effect. Interaction effects of color and area-ratio combination was significant on cuteness. For visibility image 8cm yellow dot/blue background, for attractiveness image BG/R coloration, for cuteness image Y/B coloration and for stability image 0.8cm yellow dot/blue background were effective. According to the variation of dot pattern size, color combination and area-ratio, it was investigated that the images for a dress wearer were expressed diversely, were shown differently in image dimensions, and could be produced to different images.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 도시경관의 이미지를 개선하기 위한 환경색채의 배색조화 방법을 제공하는 것이다. 연구 대상지역은 익산시 22개 아파트단지이며 이를 분석하였다. 본 연구는 자연색체계에 기초한 하드와 시빅의 배색모델을 준거의 틀로 사용하였다. 그리고 환경색채 지각과 색채미학에서 새롭게 제시된 다양한 이론들을 검토하였으며 환경 색채디자인에 적용될 수 있는 미학적 특성들을 제안하였다. 첫째, 색채조화 원리는 뉘앙스와 톤에 기초한다. 그러므로 뉘앙스와 관계된 명도와 채도의 조절이 배색에 중요하게 작용된다. 둘째, 색채지각에 있어 미적경험은 색채 속성들의 유사성과 차이성의 상호결합에 의한 효과로 정의되었다. 셋째, 색채조화이론은 더욱 통합적인 학제 간 연구를 통해 발전 될 수 있으며 이러한 경험적 자료는 환경색채디자인과 평가를 위한 기초적 정보가 될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Effect of Dampening Paper, Silica Gel and Temperature Treatment on Change of Flower Color of Dog-tooth Violet (Erythronium japonicum Decne) in Press Flower

  • We have studied the effects of dampening papers (Dampened paper, Newspaper, Korean paper, Flower sheet), silica gel (30g, 60g) and temperature ($20^{\circ}C,\;25^{\circ}C$) on color changes of Erythronium japonicum. In the treatment of $20^{\circ}C$, color changes were low in treatments with silica gel rather than in a treatment of dampening papers. In particular, newspaper and Korean paper showed much less changes in colors by the combination treatments with 30g of silica gel. Likewise, in the treatment of $25^{\circ}C$, color changes were low in combination treatments with silica gel rather than in a alone treatment of dampening papers. For the combination treatment with 30g of silica gel, low color changes were shown in the divisions of newspaper and Korean paper, while for the combination treatment with 60g of silica gel, low color changes were shown in the those of Korean paper and dampened paper.

지속가능 천연염색을 이용한 한지직물의 색채공간 확장: 쪽염색과 복합염색을 중심으로 (Expansion of Color Space in Hanji Fabrics by Using Sustainable Natural Dyeing: Focused on Natural Indigo Dyeing and Combination Dyeing)

  • The purpose of this study is to enhance the usability of hanji fabrics by expanding the color space of hanji fabrics. For the expression of various colors of hanji fabrics, single and combination dyeing were carried out using natural indigo(Niram, Polygonum tinctorium), marigold extract colorant, and madder extract colorant for three types of hanji fabrics with different fiber compositions(hanji, hanji/cotton, hanji/silk). The light, medium, and deep colors obtained through individual single dyeing were shown to be PB Munsell colors in the case of indigo dyeing, Y color for marigold dyeing, and R color for madder dyeing. For combination dyeing, indigo dyeing was first carried out under the conditions for light, medium, and deep colors, respectively, and marigold or madder dyeing was performed thereafter. Indigo and marigold combination dyeing produced PB, B, BG, G, and GY Munsell colors and indigo and madder combination dyeing produced PB, P, RP, and R Munsell colors. Overall, the color change of hanji/silk fabric was more diverse than that of hanji fabric and hanji/cotton fabric. In the indigo, marigold, and madder combination dyeing into individual deep colors, blackish PB and P Munsell colors was obtained. Colorfastness to washing, dry cleaning, rubbing, and light were relatively good with above rating 4. Finally, 9 colors excluding YR color out of 10 Munsell color were obtained. We confirmed that the expansion of the color space of Hanji fabrics by the single and combination dyeing with indigo, marigold, and madder.

무채색 물방울무늬의 크기와 배색변화에 따른 시각적 이미지 평가 (The Visual Image Evaluation for the Dot Pattern Size and the Variation of Coloration in the Achromatic Color)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of Dot Pattern Size(0.8, 1.8, 2.5, 5, 8), color combination(W/Bk, Bk/Gr, Gr/W), Area-Ratio(Background/Dot, Dot/Background) on wearing dot-printed dresses image. Sets of stimulus and response scales(7 point semantic) were used as experimental materials. The stimuli were 30 color pictures manipulated with the combination of Dot Pattern Size, color combination, and Area-Ratio using computer simulation. The subjects were 180 female undergraduates living in Gyeongnam-do. The data was analyzed by using SPSS program. Analyzing methods were ANOVA and LSD test. Image factor of the stimulus was composed of 5 different components, visibility, chastity, attractiveness, cuteness and feminity. Among them, the visibility and chastity were important. Each dimensional image was affected by dot pattern size, color combination and Area-Ratio. In the visibility image, color combination(W/Bk is the most effective) is more influential, the larger size is effective pattern. In the cuteness and feminity image, area ratio(low-brightness dot pattern is the more effective) is more effective than color combination or dot pattern size. Even the same dot pattern size and area was recognized as different image depending on the area ratio. According to the variation of dot pattern size, color combination and area-ratio, it was investigated that the images for a dress wearer were expressed diversely, were shown differently in image dimensions, and could be produced to different images.

홍화와 황벽의 혼합염색 견직물의 광퇴색 (Light Fastness of Silk Fabric dyed with Safflower and Amur Cork Tree extract for Combination dyeing)

  • In order to study on the color change of silk dyed with natural colorant due to light fading, and find out the effect of combination dyeing, colorant extracts of safflower red, safflower yellow and amur cork tree were used, either singly or in combination. In combination dyeing, safflower yellow or amur cork tree dyeing process was added on the top of the silk fabric was dyed with safflower red. Color change and light fastness were investigated by $L^*,\; a^*,\; b^*$ H, V/C, and Color difference. Brightness of silk fabric dyed with safflower red and safflower yellow increased gradually with increasing the radiation time of UV light, but amur cork tree was decreased and turned to dull. Color difference of dyed with Amur cork tree showed higher than the others. Combination dyeing of safflower red and amur cork tree provided better light fastness than the one of safflower red and safflower yellow.
