The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between collaborative information seeking and users' learning style preferences and their experience of information systems. The study investigates the role of four different factors including learning style, task complexity, and user experience in collaborative information seeking in digital environments. Sixty participants (30 pairs) were randomly chosen from volunteer graduate students of Kharazmi University (Iran). Participants completed Kolb's learning style questionnaire and a user experience questionnaire and then performed two information seeking tasks (one simple and one difficult) in a lab setting. They could exchange information with their partners or a librarian using Skype. The sessions were recorded using Camtasia. The results showed that with an increase in task difficulty, collaborative information seeking activities increased and more interactions with partners and the librarian occurred. The number of executive help-seeking requests was higher than the number of instrumental help-seeking requests. This research confirms that learning style is related to the way users interact with the digital library and help seeking. The research showed that in difficult tasks, the differences among users with different learning styles become more evident, and that generally interactions increase in more difficult tasks. Among the learning styles, the accommodating style had the highest number of relationships with collaborative information seeking variables. Most of the statistically significant relationships between users' prior computer experience and collaborative information seeking variables were related to the time variable.

These days we come across many wicked problems whose solutions are beyond individuals intellectual ability. These problems can be resolved through collaborative group interaction. We developed an internet-based asynchronous group interaction support system, after looking into the collaborative problem solving process and the IBIS (Issue-Based Information System) argumentation model. It has the following characteristics ; 1) it is developed based on the modified IBIS model which is a model for group interaction to resolve wicked problems ; 2) it supports both processes of seeking and comparing solutions, while most similar systems do not have a feature to support the latter process ; 3) different structures can be defined dynamically according to the purpose of group interaction, so that it could be used for collaborative problem solving in a specific domain. To show the usability of the system, we carried out an experiment, whose result is shown at the end.

본 연구는 대학생 설문을 통해 Z세대가 일상적으로 협업을 하면서 어떻게 정보와 상호작용하는지 그 과정과 양상을 설명하였다. 본 연구는 특별히 급진적 변화 이론(Radical Change Theory)을 적용하여 대학생은 챌린지를 어떤 플랫폼으로 진행하며 어떤 정보행동을 보이는지, 또한 어떤 변화하는 관점을 적용하는지 알아보았다. 대학생들은 인스타그램과 네이버 블로그 등의 플랫폼을 주로 활용하여 챌린지에 참여하였다. 이론의 정보탐색 유형 가운데 첫 번째 유형인 정보탐색의 변화 측면에서는, 정보를 탐색하는 방식이 10여 년 전 디지털 시대가 도래할 때와는 사뭇 다르게 폭넓고 다양한 정보 행동이 관찰되었다. 정보원은 디지털화된 정보원뿐만 아니라 전통적인 정보원인 단행본이나 인적 정보원도 활발하게 활용하였다. 복합 매체의 정보 종류를 가장 많이 활용하였으며, 챌린지를 위해서는 자발적으로 협업을 진행하였다. 정보 행동의 유형2인 변화하는 관점 측면에서 정보획득과 지식확보를 위한 주요 동기가 챌린지를 참여하게 하였으며, 상호영향의식, 사회적 참여의식과 정서적 연계 등의 공동체 의식을 느끼는 것으로 나타났다.

디지털시대의 인쇄물 관리는 지난 10여 년간 국내외 도서관의 주요 현안으로 인식되어 왔으며 이에 대한 장기적이고 체계적인 방안을 모색하려는 노력이 이루어 진 바 있다. 특히 인쇄본저널의 경우 디지털저널의 등장이후 지속적인 이용률 감소와 도서관의 공간 부족 문제로 이어지면서 인쇄본저널의 새로운 보존 및 영구적인 아카이빙 구축에 대한 필요성이 대두되었다. 본 연구에서는 디지털시대의 인쇄본저널 아카이빙 관리 전략에 대한 선행연구 및 북미를 중심으로 진행된 웨스트 공동보존협약(WEST, Western Regional Storage) 프로젝트 사례를 고찰하고 분석함으로써 인쇄본저널의 보존에 대한 새로운 관리방안 및 향후 전망을 제시하고자 하였다.

본 연구는 디지털 레퍼런스 서비스 이용 활성화를 위해 이용자 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 규명하고자 하였다. 우리나라 유일의 협력형 디지털 레퍼런스 서비스인 '사서에게 물어보세요'의 실제 이용자를 대상으로 서비스 이용패턴 등을 조사하였다. 수집된 데이터를 기반으로 이용자의 인구통계학적 특성, 정보요구 특성, 이용자 인식요인 등과 서비스 만족도 및 후속의도와의 영향력 관계를 검증하였다. 서비스에 대한 만족도 요인 중 사서와의 상호작용과 답변의 신속성이 정(+)의 영향력이 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이에 영향요인별 분석결과를 토대로 디지털 레퍼런스 서비스 개선방안을 제안하였다.

The ever-expanding Chinese economy has affected the Korean economy in many respects. So many companies, including most of major groups, has increased their economic collaborative businesses in China. Due to the sandwich situation of the economic competitiveness, many Korean companies has been seeking for the lower production costs in China, while other high-tech companies also for the prospective markets in China. Nonetheless all the Korean FDIs in China have been seriously connected with its global supply chain management. In order to promote this kind of collaboration across the border, the 4PL kind of tasks are needed. The study suggests these tasks in terms of 3 categories of Pre-Feasibility/ Business Planning, Cultural Localization, and Networking Economies/ Relationship Management. Most of all, the collaboration across the border may promote the final vision of the FTA in the Far-east Asian countries.

Nowadays, recommender systems suggest lists of items to users considering not only accuracy but also diversity and novelty. However, suggesting the most diverse list of items to all users is not always acceptable, since different users prefer and/or tolerate different degree of diversity. Hence suggesting a personalized list with a diversity degree considering each user preference would improve the efficiency of recommender systems. The main contribution and novelty of this study is to tune the diversity degree of the recommendation list based on the users' variety-seeking feature, which ultimately leads to users' satisfaction. The proposed approach considers the similarity of users' desire diversity as a new parameter in addition to the usual similarity of users in the state-of-the-art collaborative filtering algorithm. Experimental results show that the proposed approach improves the personal diversity criterion comparing to the closest method in the literature, without decreasing accuracy.

4차 산업혁명에 따라 빠르게 변화되는 사회에서 미래 인재는 지식의 양이 아닌 질적으로 수준 높은 지식을 활용하고 구성하는 능력이 요구되고 있다. 2015 개정 교육과정의 출범에 따라 역량 중심으로 교육과정이 개편되었으며 소프트웨어 교육에서는 '정보문화소양', '컴퓨팅 사고력', '협력적 문제 해결력'의 역량을 추구하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 미래인재의 역량인 협력적 문제해결력을 함양하기 위해서는 교육 현장에서 교사가 손쉽게 활용 가능한 협업도구와 이를 활용한 SW교육 프로그램을 개발한다. 이러한 협업도구를 활용한 SW교육프로그램은 프로그래밍 언어와 문법에 대한 지식, 프로그래밍 기법에 대해 배우는 것보다 짝프로그래밍을 통해 컴퓨팅 사고력과 협력적 문제해결력을 함양할 수 있다. 총 16차시로 구성된 수업에서 협업도구를 활용한 짝프로그래밍을 통해 수업이 참가한 학생들의 협력적 문제해결력과 코딩 이해도를 향상시킴을 보여준다.

Railway safety aims to ensure that railways take appropriate action to limit the risk of injury to persons or damage to property, to acceptable levels. Accreditation system specifies railway safety requirements to be included in a railway safety management system by any organization seeking to demonstrate the ability to control the processes that determine the acceptability of railway safety activities. The objective of this research is to investigate the international accreditation system for railway safety management. The yield information is quite valuable to operate collaborative processes with all interfacing transport operators and undertakings to facilitate risk control across the railway system.

본 연구의 목적은 중학교 "사회" 교과서의 탐구 과제를 정보활용과정 측면에서 분석하고, 사서교사가 정보활용교육 차원에서 수행할 수 있는 교육적 역할을 알아보기 위한 것이다. 분석 결과 중학교 "사회" 교과서의 탐구 과제를 수행하는 학생은 개별적으로 필요한 자료를 선정하여 정보를 조사하고, 그 결과를 보고서로 쓰거나 발표하는 활동을 전개할 것으로 예상된다. 이러한 특징을 중학교 "도서관과 정보생활" 교육과정에서 지도하는 정보활용과정과 비교하면, 1단계인 '정보과제 정하기와 정보 요구 파악하기'와 3단계인 '정보표현하기'를 충족하고 있는 것이다. 따라서 사서교사는 탐구 과제 해결에 필요한 적절한 자료의 탐색 전략과 자료가 담고 있는 정보를 이해하고 종합하는 능력 그리고 탐구 과정과 결과를 평가하는 능력 등을 지도함으로써 사회교사의 수업 부담을 줄여주고 학생의 탐구 활동을 촉진할 수 있을 것으로 보인다. 이를 위해서는 사서교사와 교과교사가 정보활용능력을 기반으로 한 협동수업을 활성화할 필요가 있다.
