  • Many disorders in neuropsychiatric field demonstrate variable motor disturbances as their clinical feature or in their courses of illness and also due to psychopharmacological treatment. Although association of such motor disturbances with the pathophysiological aspect of various neuropsychiatric illness are still lacking, some form of motor disturbance offer a window through which pathophysiologic mechanism of such illnesses can be viewed. Cognitive control of motor functions are briefly reviewed in this article and the importance and method of motor function assessment in major neuropsychiatric disorders are also discussed. Motor dysfunction of major neuropsychiatric illness such as schizophrenia and mood disorders may offer a chance of a deeper understanding on the pathophysiologic aspect of their clinical presentation.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the meaning of housework for home education. The methodology applied in this study bases on reinterpretation of references concerned with 'housework' and 'education'. The meaning of housework for home education can be analyzed in three aspects, that is, individual, domestic, and social aspect. Houseworkers be capable of developing their physical, emotional, cognitive, and social ability through houseworks. What is more, they are to internalize the culture of home and society. The meaning of housework for home education, however, has gradually been forgotten in people's mind with the appearance of rationalism of modern society. The particular process of modernization in our country has uncovered the negative aspect of housework and continually emphased that point. Thus now people consider housework as only something troublesome. The conclusion of this study is that, for the purpose of our 'noble life as man', we should recover and emphasize the importance of the meaning of housework for home education. • The development of the technology of the 21st century, wireless Internet technology development in smart environments, was rapidly settled. In such an environment, the user is faced with many smart devices and smart content. This study is the analysis of the smart environment and smart devices, and user-to-user cognitive out about the effects reported. Cognitive effects observed behavior, technology, and user-centered system design, and plays a very important role to play in educating the users. And theoretical consideration about the UX (User eXperience) and UXD (User eXperience Design), by case analysis on the technical aspects of 'effective' visual aspect of interoperation aspects (interaction), and the cognitive effects of UXD (User eXperience Design) examined. As a result, on the visual aspects of the user experience based on the design that can be used to know, and be sound or through interaction with the user of the machine-to-machine interaction (and interaction) that must be provided, such as location-based or speech recognition technology will help you through the convenience of the user. Through this research, the smart environment and helping act of understanding, effective UXD (User eXperience Design) to take advantage of to help.

  • The English language has developed from a language with optional subjecthood Into a language with obligatory subjecthood due to a general reduction of inflections. Two types of subject omission, pro-drop and conjunction reduction, have been reported in the history of English. Old English with rich inflections had both referential pro-drop and conjunction reduction. Middle English with much lesser inflections still witnessed pro-drop and conjunction reduction, but in such a decreasing way that modern English with a loss of inflections developed from Middle English hardly has either pro-drop or conjunction reduction. This paper explores both the phenomena relating to optional subjecthood in Old, Middle, and Modern English in light of the cognitive processes of the universal, hierarchical constraints that are assumed to be inherent in English speakers' cognitive fatuity. It is found that optional subjecthood in Old, Middle, and Modern English is correctly raptured in terms of the distinct rankings of the proposed constraints, and that it is closely related to whether each of Old, Middle, and Modern English has rich inflections.

  • In order to enhance the effect of Problem-based Learning, the role of scaffold as a learning support strategy is necessary. Collective intelligence provides scaffolding in the sense that it integrates users' knowledge, information, experiences, values, etc. Based on these factors, collective intelligence determines the direction of behavior, revises the direction continuously, and provides problem-solving methods. Teaching and learning situations emphasize learners' initiative, voluntary, and active participation. Thus, this study was conducted to find out if collective intelligence can be an effective and attractive alternative of learning strategy. Specifically, this study purposed to examine how collective intelligence performs the role of scaffold on the Web and what types of scaffolding are provided to learners. According to the results of this study, collective intelligence had a positive effect on learners' learning attitude, confidence, interest, etc. in the affective aspect, but its effect on the cognitive aspect was different according to learners' school year and learning level. Because collective intelligence had a positive effect on learners, we identified scaffolding types explanation, suggestion of direction, illustration and feedback in the cognitive aspect, and positive response and encouragement in the affective aspect.

  • The purpose of the present research was to examine whether the attention mechanism employs physical or represented location of the cue and target. To achieve this, we have employed the paradigm of facilitation of response as well as inhibition of return. In the experiments, valid and invalid conditions were defined by the position consistency of the cue and the target in the aspect of either physical or represented location. We used auditory cue and visual target in Experiment 1 while visual cue and auditory target in Experiment 2. As a results, in Experiment 1, effect of facilitation of response in valid condition was found when the valid/invalid conditions were defined in the aspect of represented location. In Experiment 2, effect of facilitation of response in valid condition was found when the valid/invalid conditions were defined in the aspect of represented location. In all the other conditions, no effect was found when the conditions were defined in the aspect of physical location. No effects of inhibition of return were found in Experiment 2. These results imply the possibility that attention mechanism operates based on objects' represented location rather than on their physical location. More importantly, the present research suggests that it is necessary to separate represented location from physical location of the target and the cue in the experiment of facilitation of response and inhibition of return in the future.

  • As the main cause of car accidents is driver distraction, HUD utilization is important to boost drivers' front-observing. Recently, As HUD includes a variety of contents products have appeared on market, the possibility increases cognitive load while driving. The purpose of this study is that currently being used HUD contents how much affect drivers while driving. To investigate about it, the experiment is examined cognitive aspect with utilization aspect of different gender and illuminance environment. The study provides, in accordance with the internal and external illuminance, the visibility make a difference. The gap between the internal and external illuminance is higher, the visibility is better. Also, this study confirms that HUD's awareness of contents depends on driving information. Drivers concentrate more on higher related driving contents than lower ones.

  • Creative thinking alone can not lead to scientific creativity. Scientific knowledge and scientific inquiry skills are needed for scientific creativity. Focused only on cognitive aspect, I suggested a cognitive model of scientific creativity (CMSC) consisting of 3 components: thinking for scientific creativity, scientific knowledge contents, and scientific inquiry skills. Recently, many researchers have emphasized the various thinking for creativity as well as divergent thinking. Therefore, I suggested three types of creative thinking - divergent thinking, convergent thinking, and associational thinking - and discussed its rationale. Based on this model, an example of activity material for the scientific creativity was suggested. In the further research, based on CMSC, various activity types related to scientific creativity and concrete learning materials for scientific creativity will be developed.

  • This study aims to provide direction for the brand goals approaching and analyzing previous studies in social psycholog y perspective, focusing on man and society relationship. 526 preceding 'brand space' associated papers from 1992 to 2012 were collected and analyzed them by year, by space and by theme utilizing the realism methodology, the theor etical relationship methodology. The numbers of the study for 'brand space' had increased gradually from 2003 to 2010 then climbed vertically and the most common study was about place, that shows there is a relationship between variou s social phenomena and human psychology. For the thematic analysis, 'Social psychological components of the brand' based on social psychology was used for analyzing the cognitive aspects, the relational aspects, and the attitudinal aspects. The most common study was the study of the cognitive aspects, and relational aspects, and lastly the attitud inal aspects in order. The strategy was the most common research for the brand associated study. The ultimate point of the strategy is to get 'attitude'. From social psychology perspective, there is a cycle in the minds of consumers, 'Identification', 'Internalization', 'Conformity' and 'Compliance'. Structure of these relationships can provide a clue that consumers' attitude lead the consumers' action.
