탄체 외형결함이 탄도에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Projectile Surface Defects on the Trajectory)

  • 군에서 사용하는 탄약의 보관 및 취급상 발생할 수 있는 외형결함을 가정하여 그것이 사거리에 미치는 영향을 예측하였다. 외형결함은 탄체두부의 오자이브 형상에 각 1.5mm, 3.3mm의 축대칭 함몰부가 생기는 것으로 가정하였다. FLUENT를 사용하여 마하수 별 항력계수를 해석하였고, 탄도해석 프로그램인 PRODAS에 항력계수 데이터를 입력하여 탄도해석을 하였다. 공력해석결과 1.5mm, 3.3mm 함몰 탄체의 항력증가율은 정상탄체와 비교했을 때 아음속 영역에서는 큰 차이를 보이지 않았으나, 초음속 영역에서 각각 평균 3%, 9% 의 증가율을 보였다. 최대 사거리는 포구속도 650m/s를 기준으로 각각 1%, 3% 감소한 결과를 보였다.

SI 엔진의 스로틀 밸브에서 유동장 특성에 대한 실험해석 (An Experimental Study on a Flowfield Characteristics in a Throttle Valve of SI Engine)

  • Experimental investigations on the flow characteristics of downstream region of a butterfly valve, which is used in SI engine, have been conducted according to Reynolds number and valve angle. Measurement programs of the flowfield using x-type of hotwire anemometry include the mean and fluctuating velocity, turbulnet intensity, shear stress, power spectrum and pressure loss coefficient. Experimental results show that flow characteristics and independent of relatively high Reynolds number; 60,000 and 80,000. It is also seen that streamwise mean velocities have relatively large velocity gradient around the butterfly valve with increasing the valve opening angle and this trend appears even in the far downstream region. The distributions of turbulent intensity and shear stress show irregular behavior regardless of the valve opening angle and those of the case of the valve opening angle of 45°are the largest. The pressure loss coefficient of the body surface of the throttle valve increases mildly with the increase of Reynolds number and increases rapidly with the reduction of the valve opening angle.

분리된 분할판에 의한 원형단면 실린더의 항력감소 (Drag Reduction on n Circular Cylinder using a Detached Splitter Plate)

  • Control of drag farce on a circular cylinder using a detached splitter plate is numerically studied for laminar flow. A splitter plate with the same length as the cylinder diameter(d) is placed horizontally in the wake region. Its position is described by the gap ratio(G/d), where G represents the gap between the cylinder base point and the leading edge of the plate. The drag varies with the gap ratio; it has the minimum value at a certain gap ratio for each Reynolds number. The drag sharply increases past the optimum gap ratio; this seems to be related to the sudden change in bubble size in the wake region. This trend is consistent with the experimental observation currently available in case of turbulent flow. It is also found that the net drag coefficient significantly depends on the variation of base suction coefficient.

ALGEBRAIC CORRECTION FOR METAL ARTIFACT REDUCTION IN COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY

  • If there are metals located in the X-ray scanned object, a point outside the metals has its range of projection angle at which projections passing through the point are disturbed by the metals. Roughly speaking, this implies that attenuation information at the point is missing in the blocked projection range. So conventional projection completion MAR algorithms to use the undisturbed projection data on the boundary of the metaltrace is less efficient in reconstructing the attenuation coefficient in detailed parts, in particular, near the metal region. In order to overcome this problem, we propose the algebraic correction technique (ACT) to utilize a pre-reconstructed interim image of the attenuation coefficient outside the metal region which is obtained by solving a linear system designed to reduce computational costs. The reconstructed interim image of the attenuation coefficient is used as prior information for MAR. Numerical simulations support that the proposed correction technique shows better performance than conventional inpainting techniques such as the total variation and the harmonic inpainting.

서부경남지역 음용 지하수 관리 실태 및 지역적 특성에 관한 비교 고찰 (Study on Water Quality Management of Drinking Groundwater and Its Regional Characteristics in the West Gyeong-Nam)

  • The characteristics of drinking groundwater at west Gyeong-nam were analyzed by investigating 3,698 cases which were carried out from January 2008 to september 2013. 24.5% of the observed data exceeded the drinking water quality standards. Among the drinking water quality standards, 40 parameters were found to exceed. and most problematic were total coliform and HPC(Heterotrophic Plate Count). The unfit ratio of each region for drinking water were 23.1% at Geoje, 18.7% at Geochang, 28.5% at Goseong, 24.1% at Namhae, 32.8% at Sacheon, 20.5% at Sancheong, 36.9% at Uiryeong, 29.2% at Jinju, 40.9% at Tongyeong, 24.7% at Hadong, 20.6.% at Hamyang, 20.1% at Hapcheon. The result of correlation showed that rainfall and unfit ratio of HPC may be associated with the hydrologic durability and season. The coefficient of correlation between them was 0.304. During the summer, the coefficient of correlation was 0.699. But the significant correlation between total coliform and rainfall was not found.

이차원 다중젯트의 유동 및 열전달 특성의 수치적 해석(I) -돌출열원이 없는 경우의 유동특성- (A Numerical Analysis of Flow and Beat Transfer Characteristics of a Two-Dimensional Multi-Impingement Jet(I))

  • A numerical study for a two dimensional multi-jet with crossflow of the spent fluid has been carried out. Three different distributions of mass-flow rate at 5 jet exits were assumed to see their effects upon the flow characteristics, especially in the jet-flow region. For each distribution, various Reynolds numbers ranging from laminar to turbulent flows were considered. Calculations drew the following items as conclusion. 1) The development of the free jets issued from downstream jets was hindered by the crossflow formed due to jets. Consequently, the free jet was developed into the channel flow without any evident symptom of impingement jet flow characteristics 2) The crossflow induced the pressure gradient along the cross section of jet exits and the value of the pressure gradient increased as going downstream. The crossflow generated also the turbulent kinetic energy as it collied with the downstream jets. 3) The skin friction coefficient along the impingement plate was affected more by the distribution of mass flow rate at jet exits rather than by the Reynolds number. The skin friction coefficient was inversely proportional to the square root of the Reynolds number, regardless of flow regime when a fully developed flow was formed in the jet flow region. 4) The distribution of the skin friction coefficient along the impingement plate was found to be controlled by adjusting the distribution of mass flow rate at jet exits.

Empirical Equation을 이용한 고분자전해질 연료전지의 전압 손실에 대한 연구 (Study of Voltage Loss on Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cell Using Empirical Equation)

  • 고분자전해질 연료전지(PEMFC)의 성능을 예측할 수 있는 empirical equation의 역할이 중요하게 대두되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 polarization curve에서 activation loss, ohmic loss, mass transfer loss 영역을 분리하였고, 현재까지 개발된 model 중 Kim의 model과 Hao의 model을 선정하여 각 영역의 fitting을 시행하였다. 온도, 압력, 산소 농도 및 막 두께를 운전변수로 설정하여 조건 변화에 대한 각 loss의 변화를 비교하였다. 기존 model은 전반적으로 좋은 fitting 정확도를 보였지만, 분리된 loss 영역에서는 부정확한 fitting 결과를 보이기도 하였다. 연료전지 성능 예측의 정확도를 개선하기 위하여 converge coefficient를 도입한 새로운 model을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 model을 연료전지 성능 예측에 적용한 경우에 신뢰도 평가에서 개선된 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

발사초기 단계에서 발사체의 마하수, 받음각 및 노즐 효과에 따른 공력특성 연구 (Study on Aerodynamic Characteristics of a Launch Vehicle with Mach Number, Angle of Attack and Nozzle Effect at Initial Stage)

  • Aerodynamic characteristics for a launch vehicle are numerically analyzed with various conditions. The local drag coefficients are high at the nose of the launch vehicle in subsonic region and on the main body in supersonic region because of the induced drag and the wave drag, respectively. The drag coefficients show the similar trend with the angle of attack except zero degree. However, the more the angle of attack increases, the more dependent on the Mach number the lift coefficient is. The body rotation for the flight stability destroys the vortex pair formed above the body opposite to the flight direction, so the flow fields are more or less complicated. The drag coefficient of the launch vehicle at sea level is about three times larger than that at altitude 7.2 km. And the thrust jet at the nozzle causes to reduce the drag coefficient compared with the jetless transonic flight.

프레스 벤딩 공정에서 플랜지부의 마찰력이 스프링백에 미치는 영향에 대한 해석적 고찰 (Finite element analysis of spring back caused by frictional force in area of flange in press bending process)

  • Springback is an essential task to be solved in order to make high-precision products in sheet metal forming. In this study, materials with four different elastic regions were used. For the forming analysis, the change of springback caused by the frictional force generated in the flange part during hat shape forming was considered by using the AutoForm analysis program. Factors affecting frictional force were blank holder force, friction coefficient, bead R and bead height. As a result of the forming analysis, the springback increases as the material with a larger elastic region increases. In addition, as the frictional force of the flange part increased, the tensile force in the forming direction increased and the springback decreased. In particular, the blank holder force and friction coefficient had a great effect on springback in mild materials (DC04, Al6016), and the bead effectively affects all materials. Through this study, it was considered that the springback decreased as the material with a smaller elastic region and the tensile force in the forming direction increased.

웨이브릿 변환 영역에서 유전자 알고리즘을 적용한 효율적인 영상복원 (An Effective Image Restoration Using Genetic Algorithm in Wavelet Transform Region)

  • In this paper, an effective image restoration using Genetic Algorithm(GA) in wavelet transform region is proposed. First, a wavelet transform is used for decomposition of a blurred image with white Gaussian noise as a preprocessing of the proposed method. The wavelet transform decomposes a degraded image into a wavelet subband coefficient planes. In this wavelet transformed subband coefficient planes, three highest subbands is composed entirely of noise elements on a degraded image. So, these subbands are removed. And remained subbands except for the lowest subband are individually applied to GA. For the performance evaluation, the proposed method is compared with a conventional single GA algorithm and a conventional hybrid method of wavelet transform and GA for a Lenna image and a boat image. As an experimental result, the proposed algorithm is prior to a conventional methods as each PSNR 3.4dB, 1.3dB.
