Charging of an Ionic Liquid Droplet in a Dielectric Medium (비전도성 매질 내 이온성 액체 액적의 충전 현상)

  • Ionic liquid (IL) is a salt presents in a liquid form at room temperature. Recently, it attracts huge attention due to its possibilities as a clean solvent, electrolyte, and catalyst. In the present work, the charging behavior of six different ILs were investigated using droplet contact charging phenomenon in a dielectric medium. Basically, the charging of an IL droplet can be explained by a perfect conductor theory. However, there were several different features depending on the species of ions of ILs, which requires rigorous molecular level modeling of charge transport through electrochemical reaction of IL. We hope the present results contribute to build up fundamental understanding of electrochemical charge transport of IL.

  • The air ventilation system of operation rooms has been studied for the prevention of cross infection during the operation. Operation rooms and air ventilation systems of three University hospitals are investigated. The distribution of microbe is measured by cultivating air samples in the operation room. A two-dimensional model for the cross-section of an operation room is developed for the CFD analysis. The characteristics of air flow in operation room are calculated by using a CFD program. The current air ventilation system of an old hospital does not deliver the clean air to the operation area efficiently. A new air ventilation method which improves air venting with little increase of the cost of equipment is suggested.

  • Recently, the market of private study room continues to grow due to increased usage of private study room. However, old study room operators often have problems with cleanliness and theft, and cannot handle them in real time. Also, there is a problem of wasting power since users usually leave their desk for a long time with the lights on. Thus, in this paper, we intended to design a service which can prevent theft, clean up the user's desk, and adjust lighting system according to the user's condition based on Arduino system. Also, we tried to design a system which sends notifications from information of android-based IoT(Internet of Things), to the terminal when other people approach to the user's desk or try to steal user's item.

  • FFU are used increasingly by the microeleceronics industry to provide clean recirculating air for the fabrication of integrated circuits and laminar flow air. There may be several hundred ffu in a large cleanroom, covering 100% of the ceiling area. Hence, there is of often knowledge in the inside and outside of the country the flu give rise to noise & vibration trouble to microelectronics industry. Noise & Vibration control for satisfication about noise & vibration criteria in TFT-LCD factory cleanroom be in need of exact noise & vibration data of accurence from utility & equipment that can be exert a bad influence upon cleanroom. In this pater, hence we found out noise and vibration properities of ffu by using experimental method. And, we performed noise & vibration analysis about noise it vibration level in cleanroom using semiempirical method for quantative approach about noise & vibration level in cleanroom.

  • The manufacturing technology of XLPE power cable ( e.g. gas curing, triple common extrusion, clean room, super-clean compound, etc.) had been developed in 1960's and the design parameter of insulation thickness for EHV XLPE power cable at present was determined in 1960's. But, the quality of XLPE power cable has been improved up to now. The re-evaluation of design parameter for insulation thickness reductions is required and so we performed weibull plotting test using model cable. This paper describes the evaluation details of the insulation characteristics according to weibull plotting test.

  • This paper describes design features of a cleaning robot for use in a radioactive zone of the Isolation room of the Irradiated Material Examination Facility (IMEF) at Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI). This cleaning robot is intended to completely eliminate human interaction with hazardous radioactive contaminants. The clean ing robot that is operated either by manual mode or by autonomous mode is designed to be capable of cleaning the isolation room´s floor surface and collecting dry nuclear fuel debris and other radioactive waste placed on the floor.   • 분할형 극세사 직물은 서로 상용성을 가지지 않는 nylon/polyester의 용융고분자물을 복합방사법에 의하여 filament 형태로 방사한 후 이를 제직, 편성의 방법으로 포를 제조하고 알칼리 용액에 처리함으로써 생산되어 진다. 따라서 극세사 직물은 일반적으로 소수성의 합성섬유로 이루어졌음에도 불구하고 알칼리 가수분해에 의하여 분할된 섬유 사이의 수많은 모세관에 의하여 높은 흡수성과 수분전이능력을 갖게 된다. 이러한 이유로 극세사 직물은 일반적인 와이퍼의 용도뿐만이 아니라 food service, medicine, 반도체를 제조하는 clean room등으로 그 응용범위를 넓혀 가고 있다.   • 대기질의 악화와 오염원이 많아짐에 따라, 실내공기 정화장치 또한 재래식의 방법을 벗어난 방 식으로 설계 시설되어야 한다. 인위적으로 만들어진 유해 물질과 작은 먼지들을 제거하기 위한 새로운 환풍장치는 지역의 특수성을 고려하여 설계되어야 한다. 더욱이 대도시의 생활은 오염 원과 작업장 및 거주지가 가까이 위치하기 때문에 특별히 지역의 특수성을 고려하여 환풍장치가 설계되어야 한다. 끝으로 작업장안에서 오염원 격리수용하는 것은 매우 바람직하여, 청정공 간(clean room)을 요구하는 반도체 및 제약회사 등은 건축물자체 오염원에서 멀리 떨어져서 지 역의 영향을 최소화하는 것과 건축물의 자재 및 공기정화장치가 새롭게 연구되어 설계되야 한다.
