가정과예비교사의 수업경험을 통한 비판적 반성에 관한 탐구 (Exploration of Critical Reflection through Home Economics Pre-service Teacher's Instruction Experience)

  • This study explores the critical reflection process experienced by home economics preservice teachers during practicum. Data were collected in a critical analysis of class, practicum review, and journals written by sixteen preservice teachers. Text material were composed of 188 transcripts on A4 paper and 36 page of mini-notes. The collected data were analyzed by a thematic coding method in qualitative research and proceeded in the order of three steps of transference, coding, and subject discovery. The emerging themes were: 1) Observing class 2) Practicing class 3) Growth of class practice 4) Reflecting class. First, the observing class was an exploration process through the viewing of daily classes that involved the process of recognizing the classroom situation and various classroom contexts. Second, the practicing class was to strengthen the consideration of the class to form a relationship that could lead to learning in educational situations. Third, the growth of class practice was intended to recognize the orientation of the subject matter with pedagogical content knowledge. Four, the reflecting class was the process of experiencing practice with a continuous understanding of the class, class reflection, and changing the perspective from the current status. There is a part where critical reflection is difficult to be promoted deeply during 4 weeks; however, there was a possibility of a reflection practice that could promote achievement through the experience of a practicing class.

Comparison of occlusal contact areas of class I and class II molar relationships at finishing using three-dimensional digital models

  • Objective: This study compared occlusal contact areas of ideally planned set-up and accomplished final models against the initial in class I and II molar relationships at finishing. Methods: Evaluations were performed for 41 post-orthodontic treatment cases, of which 22 were clinically diagnosed as class I and the remainder were diagnosed as full cusp class II. Class I cases had four first premolars extracted, while class II cases had maxillary first premolars extracted. Occlusal contact areas were measured using a three-dimensional scanner and RapidForm 2004. Independent t-tests were used to validate comparison values between class I and II finishings. Repeated measures analysis of variance was used to compare initial, set up, and final models. Results: Molars from cases in the class I finishing for the set-up model showed significantly greater contact areas than those from class II finishing (p < 0.05). The final model class I finishing showed significantly larger contact areas for the second molars (p < 0.05). The first molars of the class I finishing for the final model showed a tendency to have larger contact areas than those of class II finishing, although the difference was not statistically significant (p = 0.078). Conclusions: In set-up models, posterior occlusal contact was better in class I than in class II finishing. In final models, class I finishing tended to have larger occlusal contact areas than class II finishing.

The Relationship between L2 Use outside of Class and Oral Proficiency Development

  • This study examines the relationship between second language use outside of class and oral proficiency development. It first identifies out-of-class activities of international graduate students in the U.S. and the average time spent speaking English in those out-of-class activities. Interviews and student self-measurements of time spent speaking English each day were used to investigate the types and quantities of out-of-class activities. In addition, two sets of student oral proficiency test scores were collected. Correlation analysis is used to find out the relationship of the variables between the most salient out-of-class activities and oral proficiency gains. The findings indicate that second language use outside of class is important for international graduate students to improve their oral proficiency. This is especially true with regularized interaction such as talking at work and the average time spent speaking in English a day outside of class. This study suggests that learners of English in an ESL environment should be encouraged to take part in out-of-class activities in addition to English use in the classroom in order for them to improve their oral proficiency.

  • The prevalence of normal occlusion and malocclusion was assessed by Angle's Classification method for 8989 school students at 7-22 years in Seoul. The occurrence of malocclusion and the need-for orthodontic treatment was 61 per cent among them. Results indicated no significant differences between the sexes for the occlusal relationships of the mandible to the maxille. The prevalence of Class I, Class II, and Class III malocclusion in all malocclusion was shown to be Class I, 45.7 per cent; Class II, 7.6 per cent; and Class III, 7.9 per cent. Class II Division 1 was observed to occur four times frequently compared to Class II Division 2 in Class II malocclusions. Class III malocclusion was shown to occur more frequently compared that of Caucasians.

  • 본 논문에서는 UML 클래스 도해의 저작도구를 위한 메타데이터의 정보 구축을 제시하고자 한다. UML의 클래스 다이어그램에서 클래스를 모델링 할 때, 표현되는 클래스(Class)와 관계(Relationship)를 정의 하였다. 클래스는 어떠한 사물의 개념적인 것을 나타내며, name, attribute, operation 세 가지로 정의하였다. 관계는 클래스와 클래스 사이의 관계를 뜻하며, 관계의 이름, From클래스, To클래스, 관계의 유형을 정의한다. 그리고 UML 클래스 도해의 처리도구를 위한 메타데이터의 정보를 가공하고 처리하는 방법을 제안하였다.

한국산 연체동물 목록 (A Catalogue of Molluscan Fauna In Korea)

  • Molluscan specimens collected in the whole country of Korea during the from 1994 through 2002, were identified and classified. A total of 1,560 molluscan species were listed in this study; one species in class Aplacophora, 18 species in class Polyplacophora, 1,038 species in class Gastropoda, 467 species in class Bivalvia, 14 species in class Scaphopoda and 22 species in class Cephalopoda. Among the identified species, 360 species (three species in class Polyplacophora, 266 species in class Gastropoda, 85 species in class Bivalvia, 6 species in class Scaphopoda) are newly recorded to Korean fauna.

설명 단계를 강조한 POE 과학수업이 초등학생들에게 미치는 효과 (The Effects of POE Science Class Emphasizing Explanation Phase on Elementary School Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to see the influences of POE science class that emphasizes explanation on science research ability, motivation of science class as well as scientific attitude of elementary students. The results drawn from this analysis were as below. Firstly, positive relationship was found between science research ability and POE science class was shown among research group. This shows that science research ability was improved as POE science class encouraged the research activities of students. It indicates that POE science class emphasizing explanation is effective in improving science research ability of students. Secondly, positive relationship was found between motivation of science class and POE science class among research group and this means that POE science class that emphasizes explanation stimulates intellectual curiosity of students and improves their attitude by actively promoting research activities. Thirdly, there was a positive relationship between scientific attitude and POE science class among research group. This presents that POE science class emphasizing explanation is effective in improving students' attitude toward science by promoting research activities. Above results show that POE science class emphasizing explanation is highly effective for elementary students. It is considered that scientific writing, discussion and debate classes have positive influences on research ability, motivation of science class and scientific attitude of elementary students. Thus, it is needed to apply POE science class to current science class as it can promote wider scientific activities among students.

치위생(학)과 학생의 치위생관리과정 수업몰입 영향요인 (Factors influencing class flow of dental hygiene students in dental hygiene care process)

  • Objectives: This study provides basic data for developing practical teaching methods enabling efficient execution of the dental hygiene care process. Methods: A total of 197 dental hygiene students experienced in dental hygiene care process in Gwangju and Jeonnam were surveyed from June 1 to August 30, 2019 to study their class flow, professors-student relationships, and class satisfaction level. Post survey, statistical analysis was performed using frequency analysis, independent t-test, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. Results: 1. Class fl ow was high in three lecturers (3.56), four hours per week (3.39), and four hours per week (3.94). Class satisfaction was high in three lecturers (3.99) and four hours per week (3.90) (p<0.05). 2. There was a positive correlation between class flow and professor-student relationship (r=0.519), class fl ow and class satisfaction (r=0.566), and professor-student relationship and class satisfaction (r=0.838) (p<0.01). 3. The factors influencing class fl ow were the number of lecturers (β=0.442), class hours per week (β=-0.397), and class satisfaction (β=0.385). Conclusions: Apart from finding ways to improve class satisfaction for class flow in the dental hygiene care process, efforts are required to increase the number of lecturers and class hours per week for efficient class management. Further research is needed to develop practical teaching methods.

창조계층의 이동에 관한 연구 (Analysis on the Movement of the Creative Class)

  • 창조계층은 전문 지식 및 기술을 가지고 창의적이고 혁신적인 업무에 종사하는 직업군을 뜻하며, 지역의 경제성장에 중요한 역할을 한다는 점에서 많은 관심을 받아 왔다. 이에 지역정부에는 도시의 경제 성장을 위해 창조계층을 유입하기 위한 각종 정책 및 방안들을 제시하고 있으나 실제 창조계층이 이동과 관련된 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 17차 노동패널 자료를 이용하여 창조계층의 이동특성과 이주동기를 분석하여 함의를 제공하고자 하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 창조계층은 비창조계층에 비하여 이동성이 높았다. 둘째, 창조계층 이동자는 여성보다 남성이, 20대와 30대의 젊은층이, 미혼보다는 기혼자, 전세 등 자가가 아니며, 아파트에 거주하는 이동자가 많았다. 셋째, 창조계층과 비창조계층이 이주 동기에는 차이가 존재하였다. 창조계층의 이주 동기는 주거 요인과 직장 요인이 중요한 역할을 하였다. 특히 비창조계층에 비하여 직장 요인이 더 중요한 것으로 분석되었다. 넷째, 인간관계, 편의시설 등의 변수는 창조계층의 이동에 중요한 영향을 주지 않았다.

Some Results About $NBU_{mgf}$ Class of Life Distributions

  • A new class of life distributions is studied. This class is defined based on comparing the residual life to the whole life in the moment generating function order giving "the new better than used in the moment generating function order ageing class ($NBU_{mgf}$)". Some new results of this class are given including some closere properties and characterizations. Finally testing exponentially against the $NBU_{mgf}$ class is also addressed.
