Course evaluation serves as helpful information to improve the quality of college education and improve lectures. This study derived the factors through preceding research and FGI to explore the factors that constitute course evaluation and identified the relative importance and priority of the factors through the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). For this, it derived five factors and 15 evaluation items as follows. To secure expertise and fairness in the factor development of course evaluation, the researcher conducted a questionnaire surveying students and teachers and collected a total of 20 valid data. The weight of each evaluation item was calculated based on the data that had been verified for consistency. The analysis concluded that students rated class content, class method, class operation, class evaluation, and class plan as the critical factors in the order of importance, while teachers evaluated class content, class operation, class method, class evaluation, and class plan as important, in that order. Based on the results of this study, I hope that various analyses and studies will be conducted to improve the efficiency and reliability of course evaluation for the quality management of college education.

This paper proposes a simplified elastic-plastic analysis procedure using the penalty factors presented in the Code Case N-779 for strain-based fatigue assessment of nuclear safety class 1 components under severe seismic loads such as safety shutdown earthquake and beyond design-basis earthquake. First, a simplified elastic-plastic analysis procedure for strain-based fatigue assessment of nuclear safety class 1 components under the severe seismic loads was proposed based on the analysis result for the simplified elastic-plastic analysis procedure in the Code Case N-779 and the stress categories corresponding to normal operation and seismic loads. Second, total strain amplitude was calculated directly by performing finite element cyclic elastic-plastic seismic analysis for a hot leg nozzle in pressurizer surge line subject to combined loading including deadweight, pressure, seismic inertia load, and seismic anchor motion, as well as was derived indirectly by applying the proposed analysis procedure to the finite element elastic stress analysis result for each load. Third, strain-based fatigue assessment was implemented by applying the strain-based fatigue acceptance criteria in the ASME B&PV Code, Sec. III, Subsec. NB, Article NB-3200 and by using the total strain amplitude values calculated. Last, the total strain amplitude and the fatigue assessment result corresponding to the simplified elastic-plastic analysis were compared with those using the finite element elastic-plastic seismic analysis results. As a result of the comparison, it was identified that the proposed analysis procedure can derive reasonable and conservative results.

The goal of this study was to explore topic defining patterns of students in interdisciplinary Capstone Design Class. Thematic analysis methodology was used to examine 85 Korean college students' lived experience of project topic generation which is for interdisciplinary capstone design class and Individual open-ended survey for constituted the data sources. Findings show four contexts of student's topic defining patterns using thematic analysis including (a) one leader's directed problem representation, (b) team common decision making after brainstorming, (c) empathy with professor proposed issue, (d) problems offered to students by corporate or research competitions. Based on research result, I could suggest instructional strategies of Capstone Design Class of teacher for helping their students' topic defining. It was necessary to minimize the opinions of the instructors at the beginning of class and minimize the number of team members. And also it provided a lot of opportunities to collaborate with companies in the topic selection process, it will help to develop the students' ability to determine the valuable topic in project.

The purpose of this study was to categorize lifestyle patterns and to define the characteristics of the lifestyle of middle class residents in Seoul. Questionnaires were administered to 1572 homemakers in Seoul. Statistics with the SPSS software package for factor analysis and F-test was used. The results showed that the type of car which the residents owned was a major indicator to classify SEC(Socio Economic Class). The middle class was categorized into four groups which were relevant classifications based on determining indicators obtained from previous studies: the lower middle class which owned a Tico was classified into the Economy Concerned Lifestyle category the middle class which owned an Elantra was classified into the Health Concerned and Hobby Oriented Lifestyle category the upper middle calss which owned a Sonata was classified into the Interior Design and fashion Oriented Lifestyle category and the lower upper class which owned a Grandeur was classified into the Hobby and Fashion oriented Lifestyle category.

In this paper, I had studied to focus on the NCS(National Competency Standard) course in the development process of NCS-based curriculum and designed and developed 'Digital Color Correction' course. 'Digital Color Correction' course was come up with in process of development of NCS-based curriculum in a department of university that aims to educate video-broadcasting experts who lead the advanced digital age. The course developed in this paper follows criteria of NCS and is designed to step in course-profile, instruction and evaluation. Also I made an analysis of learning effects after applying to class. And I compared and analyzed NCS-class and non NCS-class. As a result of comparison, NCS-class is better than non NCS-class in student attitude for learning and evaluation method.

Automation tools for program analysis are needed in order to program understand and maintain, extract the characteristics of object-oriented program such as class name, member function and data member. In this paper, we carried out design and implementation of the automation tool for effective maintenance of object-oriented software. Being based on Reverse Engineering, this approach extracts class relationship information from C++ source code and generates object-oriented model of class diagram using UML as the standard object-oriented methodology. Therefore, this paper provides developers visualized including class information, definitions of classes, inheritance relationships, set relationships, and simple reference relationships. Finally in this paper, we propose a method that construct class relationship information to table in analysis state and make form of table construction to link form so tat developers can perform understanding and maintaining program efficiently. And this method enable to restructure and reuse in object-oriented model.

For the design guide of a vessel operating in cold region, numerical analysis was carried out to evaluate the ice class louver which installed the heating cables by using ANSYS 13.0 CFX. The numerical analysis was performed by considering Unsteady Reynolds Averaged Navier Stokes (RANS) equation. This study based on the experimental results of ‘The Cryogenic Performance Evaluation for the Excellent De-icing Ice Class Louver’ in KRISO. For validation of the numerical analysis results, the cold chamber experimental data measured by the heat sensors in certain location of the ice class louver was used. The external environmental temperature which varies from 0℃ to –30℃ was considered in numerical analysis. Also the design guide for optimum de-icing presented through heating cable power capacity(33 W/m, 45 W/m, 66 W/m), location of the heating cable(front, center, behind on the blade) and relative velocity(1 m/s, 4 m/s, 7 m/s).

In recent years, the optical fiber laser has been widely used in industrial fields due to its excellent economical efficiency and its suitability for industrial applications. This usage has increased even further since the KW class Laser was developed. In this paper, structural analysis and heat transfer analysis of a 500W class optical fiber laser end cap module was performed. The stability of end cap housing with the efficient heat dissipation structure of a 500W-class end cap was evaluated. This research determined the optimal design that should be applied to the design and evaluation of future KW class laser output modules.

Purpose Since COVID-19, the demand for online class platforms has increased. However, those platforms have not been clearly defined, and related research is also limited. In the context of the knowledge marketplace (KMs), this study examined the effects of class information and trust in creators on class preferences from the perspective of consumption value theory. Design/methodology/approach By establishing a web crawler through Python, this study collected 1,174 class data in Korea's leading knowledge marketplace, Class 101, focusing on diverse class-related information and the number of Instagram followers for individual class creators. Based on class information, this research analyzed the effects of consumers' utilitarian value, social value, and hedonic value on class preference. In addition, this study examined whether consumers' trust in creators moderates the relationship between class information and class preference. Findings According to analysis results, it was found that the higher the consumers' consumption value for each class on KMs, the more positive their preference for the class. Also, it was confirmed that consumers' trust in creators moderates the relationship between class information and class preference.

Many universities stress gradually the importance of english-medium class in order to improve the international competitiveness and the internationalization of the university. In this paper, we compare english-medium class with korean class using course evaluation score. Also we analyze the factors that affect the effectiveness of the course evaluation score of english-medium class. First, logistic regression analysis is used to examine the main effects of subjects and individual characteristics. Also, decision tree analysis is used to examine the interaction effects for subjects and individual characteristics. The results of this paper are as follows. Grade, department category, class size, GPA and screening method affect the effectiveness of english-medium class. The highest effectiveness group of english-medium class is that grade is freshmen and department category is humanity. Also the group of the second highest effectiveness group is that grade is freshmen and department category is nature and art and GPA is high.
