U-City related researches and development have been actively conducted in Korea since 2002. According to the Act on Ubiquitous City Construction, "U-City" is defined as "the city to provide ubiquitous service anytime anywhere through the existing ubiquitous backbone systems and ubiquitous technologies, ultimately for the purpose of improving urban competitiveness and quality of life. This research explains the plan to develop collective management technology for integrated operation of U-Space which makes up U-City. Specifically, this report is intended to suggest basic approach of identifying collective management elements of each U-Space type, developing integrated management system and creating interface module to link the system with urban integrated operation center.

In this study we fabricate Knife type Si-tip array using (110) Si wafer. We can fabricate vertical structure by anisotropic etching using EPW and observe it by SEM. After the step, we perform isotropic etching and oxidation sharpening of the structure and also observe it by SEM, respectively. The purpose of isotropic etching is to reduce the oxidation time. We attain a optimal tip whose radius is about $100{\AA}$ after anisotropic etching 2.25 min.+isotropic etching 5 min.+oxidation 1 hour and 23 min.

In this study, the performances of five input split type hybrid electric vehicle sub-drivetrains were analyzed. The five sub-drivetrains consist of chain, helical gears and planetary gears. For the analyzing above five sub-drivetrains, the mathematical equations were derived. From the analysis, we found that the sub-drivetrain with chain shows slower acceleration performance and larger energy consumption on the city driving. And, the sub-drivetrain with only helical gear shows smallest energy consumption on the city driving. If the sub-drivetrain can change its gear speed, it shows fastest acceleration performance, but it has largest energy consumption on the city driving due to its additional auxiliary components.

This study aims at discussing the future trend of the community bus and attempted to route selection by using GIS for the welfare-type community bus, which satisfies the need of elderly and physically handicapped persons in Nagasaki City. In doing so, we have conducted field survey in some sample cities of Kyushu, Japan for taking lessons from the present state analysis of community bus already operating there. As a result of the study, we have been able to identify some best possible routes for the community bus operation in Nagasaki City, which meets the requirement of the welfare community as well as of the general passengers.

최근 사용자 중심의 스마트시티 서비스에 관한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 연구는 사용자 중심의 스마트시티 서비스를 계획하 기 위한 사전 연구로 사용자의 니즈를 조사하였다. 본 연구는 스마트시티 서비스에 대한 니즈를 도출하기 위해 GIS 기반 위치분석데이터와 비디오 에스노그래피 방법론을 활용하고자 한다. 본 연구는 스마트시티 테스트베드로 선정된 대전 도안지구의 현장조사를 통해 사용자의 집객도가 높은 지역을 세부조사대상지로 선정하고, 도로교통공단의 교통사고분석시스템(TAAS : Traffic Accidents Analysis System)의 위치분석데이터를 이용하여 주변 보행환경을 함께 조사하였다. 또한 비디오 에스노그래피의 고정카메라기법을 통해 사용자의 행위 유형과 변화를 관찰하였다. 추출된 영상데이터를 통해 사용자의 활동을 11개의 세분화 된 유형으로 분류하고, 관찰되는 문제점 및 특이사항을 분석하였다. 본 연구를 통해 조사된 사용자 행위특성은 향후 사용자 중심 스마트시티 서비스를 제안할 수 있는 근거를 마련한다는 점에 의의가 있다.

도시문제 해결과 함께 4차 산업혁명의 신(新)성장동력 창출을 위해 세계적으로 스마트시티의 전략적 가치가 증대하고 있다. 우리 정부는 2003년 '유비쿼터스 도시(U-City)'를 한국의 고유 스마트시티 브랜드로 도입하여 추진하였다. U-City의 한계 극복을 위해 2018년 백지상태 부지에 4차 산업혁명기술의 테스트베드로서 국가 시범도시(세종 5-1생(生), 부산 EDC; Eco Delta City) 조성을 포함한 「스마트시티 추진전략」이 수립 및 발표되었다. 이후 국내외 변화된 여건과 그간의 정책에 대한 평가를 바탕으로 도시성장단계별(신규-기존-노후) 맞춤형 스마트시티 조성·확산 정책을 제시하고 있다. 스마트시티 조성 및 확산은 혁신 생태계 구축 및 글로벌 이니셔티브 강화를 위한 중장기 로드맵으로 제3차 스마트도시 종합계획('19~'23)을 중점으로 추진되고 있다. 아울러, 정부는 스마트시티 정책을 추진하는 데에는 시민, 민간기업, 지자체 등 다양한 주체가 함께 참여하여 따뜻한 삶의 공간으로 열린 도시이자 포용 도시로서 스마트시티를 조성 및 추진하는 것이 중요할 것으로 판단된다.

PAJU Book City Plan was designed to integrate two concepts of "Publishing Productive City" and "Ecological City" with the goal of "bringing of human being and nature together". This research on the post occupancy evaluation on PAJU Book City has two aims; One is to define how people, mainly working there rather than living, recognize the city and the other is to identify the problems resulted from the first phase of planning process and to suggest feasible solutions at the same time. It would be desirable that the outcome of this research should be used as data sources to improve the second phase of the plan. The evaluation criteria were created by the pre-survey on the basis of previous researches and "Pa Ju publishing city architectural design guide book (1999)". With those criteria, on-site questionnaire was conducted among people who work in PAJU Book City and stratified sampling was used for the proper sampling. The result is as follows; the visual-aesthetic criteria had positive response, which also closely related to a city satisfaction. Considering this result, construction type, circumferential environment of the building and a place of building form were found appropriate. The evaluation on the physical-ecological criteria was relatively low. Respondents were unsatisfied with green space and required better ecological waterway and more roadside tree. As green space was given a lot of weight in satisfaction survey, more green urban areas should be planned in the next phase. The evaluation on the social-behavior criteria got the lowest score. Particularly, the accessibility and convenient facilities were remarkably low. Nonetheless, the self-conceit about PAJU Book City was highly evaluated and played a crucial role in a city satisfaction. In order to achieve the goal, physical beauty, characteristics as a publication city as well as an ecologically sustainable city should be main agenda in the second phase of Paju Book City Plan. Consequently, it is important to strike a balance between the external environment and image media in order that PAJU Book City should be re-born as a culture city.

Recently, Korea is promoting cooperation with various countries, centering on ASEAN countries, with the aim of exporting Korean smart cities for the globalization of smart cities. The purpose of this study is to select excellent smart city technologies through analysis of smart city technologies owned by domestic companies and company status, and to prepare a plan for revitalization of companies with smart city technologies. Through prior research, the implications were derived through research on the existing smart city. Next, established a smart city policy analysis and smart city technology classification criteria through Korea and Overseas smart city policy and Korea smart city technology status DB. And the big data of smart city technology possessed by Korea companies and a plan for selecting a smart city export technology was prepared through analysis by region and company. As a result, to activate the technology possessed by Korea companies and to export overseas, it seems to need financial support and tax incentives that secure a pathway to export specialized smart technologies of SMEs, along with citizen participation and institutional supplementation. The smart city technology fields with the highest utilization in Korea were traffic, green energy, e-government, crime prevention, and construction, and the service types were platform, IoT, AI, big data, and GIS/GPS. These technologies are expected to contribute to building a platform for overseas smart city technology exports.

This paper aimes to analyse the housing market of Ulsan, that changed for Metroplolitan city in 1997. For the housing policy we need sufficient informations on the housing market appeared during the last five years. As a result, we can describe its housing market in a uniform way: Ulsan, compared with other cities, doesn't show varieties in households, housing type, housing conditions etc.. Concerning the housing preference, the results of our survey also show the uniformity. And the price of apartment in Ulsan moves relatively slowly to other cities.
