대표문자열 문제는 k개의 문자열로 구성된 집합 S가 주어졌을 때 S를 대표하는 한 문자열인 대표문자열을 찾는 문제이다. 환형문자열은 일반적인 문자열과는 달리 문자열의 첫 글자와 마지막 글자가 연결되어 원 모양을 이루는 문자열이다. 본 논문에서는 먼저 k=3이고 길이 n인 환형문자열들로 구성된 S에 대해, 거리반경과 거리합을 동시에 고려한 대표문자열 문제를 O(n)개의 쓰레드를 사용하여 $O({\mid}{\Sigma}{\mid}nlogn)$ 시간에 병렬적으로 해결하는 알고리즘을 제시한다. 이때, ${\Sigma}$는 각 문자열을 구성하는 문자집합이다. 다음으로 k=4이고 길이 n인 환형문자열들로 구성된 S에 대해 거리합 기반 대표문자열 문제를 O(n)개의 쓰레드를 사용하여 $O({\mid}{\Sigma}{\mid}n^2logn)$ 시간에 병렬적으로 해결하는 알고리즘을 제시한다. 이후 두 문제에 대한 병렬 알고리즘들을 CUDA를 이용하여 구현하고 순차 알고리즘들과의 실행 속도를 비교한 결과를 제시한다.

Recently, it was predicted that the size of offshore markets will grow as gas prices edge up. This paper presents experimental results for using strings as a suppression device on a circular cylinder and discusses the various data. A test model was used to investigate the role of strings by varying the thickness of the strings used to suppress a cylinder's lateral force taking into account the effect of turbulence promoted. A substantial amount of experimental data were taken from experiments performed on cylinders at Reynolds number up to a maximum value of $10^5$. The suppression of vortex shedding and a lateral force reduction of up to 70% were observed for the cylinder with strings.

본 논문은 정적 분석을 하기 위해서 SG(String Graph)를 정의하고 ASG(Alive String Graph)를 정의한다. String의 사활의 판단을 위해 돌이 포함되지 않은 상태와 돌이 포함된 상태로 나누어 Rule을 적용한다. 돌이 포함되지 않은 상태에서 SR(String Reduction), ER(Empty Reduction), ET(Edge Transform), 그리고 CG(Circular Graph) Rule을 정의한다. 돌이 포함되어진 상태에서 DESR(Dead Enemy Strings Reduction)과 SCSR(Same Color String Reduction) Rule을 정의한다. 이러한 Rule을 사용하여 SG(String Graph)가 ASG(Alive String Graph)인지를 평가한다. 그리고 관절점의 개수에 따라 사활을 판단하기 위해 APC(Articulation Point Check)를 사용하였다. 우리의 방법에 대한 성능은 Computer Go Test Collection의 IGS_31_counted 문제 집합에 대해 실험했다. 이 Test set은 11,191 Points와 1,123 Strings을 가진다. 우리는 실험 결과에서 Points에 대해 92.5% 정확성과 Strings에 대해 95.7%의 정확성을 얻었다.

To prevent an insulator failure, an automatic cleaning and inspection robot was developed for suspension insulator strings. The robot autonomously moves along the insulator string using the clamps installed on its two moving frames. Especially, unlike the existing cleaning robots using jets of water, the robot system adopts a dry cleaning method using rotating brushes and a circular motion guide. In addition, a mechanized brush bristles and a voltage-balancing contactor are devised to increase cleaning efficiency and to prevent arc generation under live-line conditions, respectively. We confirmed its effectiveness through experiments.

주어진 문자열을 환형 이동한 문자열들 중에서 사전적 순서로 가장 작은 것을 찾는 선형 시간 알고리즘을 제시한다. 이 문제는 등방성의 셀룰러 오토마타의 상태전이함수의 효율적인 구현에서 생긴다. 이 문제에 대한 단순한 알고리즘은 이차시간을 필요로 한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 알고리즘은 부분스트링들의 비교 결과를 저장하고 나중에 같은 계산이 필요한 경우에 저장한 결과를 다시 사용함으로서 선형시간에 문제를 해결한다.

본 논문에서는 온라인 환경에서 필기 문자열을 입력받고, 입력된 문자열의 유사성을 자동으로 분석하여 두 필적이 동일인에 의해 작성된 것인지를 판단하는 새로운 필적 감정 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법에서는 먼저 온라인으로 입력된 문자열에 회전 프로젝션(circular projection) 방법을 적용하여 모양, 방향 등과 같이 문자열이 가진 고유의 특징을 추출하여 벡터의 형태로 저장한다. 그런 다음, 문자 인식 분야에서 많이 사용되는 기존의 동적 타임 워핑 알고리즘을 개선하여, 이를 입력된 두 문자열의 특징 벡터의 유사성을 추출하는데 적용한다. 본 논문에서 개선된 동적 타임 워핑 알고리즘은 최적화 문제에서 좋은 결과를 산출한다고 알려진 분기한정법(branch and bound)의 개념을 기존의 동적 타임 워핑 알고리즘에 효과적으로 결합함으로써 기존의 동적 타임 워핑 알고리즘의 효율을 향상시켰다. 제안된 필기 문자열 감정 알고리즘의 성능을 확인하기 위한 실험에서는 다양하게 입력된 필기 문자열을 가지고 제안된 방법의 성능을 비교 하였으며, 그 결과 제안된 방법이 기존의 알고리즘에 비해 보다 효율적으로 필적을 감정하였음을 검증하였다.

한글 초성 질의는 내비게이션 시스템이나 모바일 기기와 같이 입력 환경에 제약이 있어 오류가 빈번한 인터페이스 상에서 사용자 편의성 향상을 위하여 제공되는 중요한 기능이다. 본 논문에서는 한글 문자열을 자소 단위로 분해하여 재배열하여 환형 문자열로 변환한 후, 확장된 버로우즈-휠러 변환을 이용하여 색인함으로써 초성 질의 탐색을 위한 시공간 효율적인 자료구조를 제안한다. 또한 실험을 통하여 기존 기법에 비하여 더 적은 공간만을 사용하면서도 보다 다양한 형태의 질의를 처리할 수 있으며, 특히 질의어의 길이가 짧고, 초성의 비율이 높을수록 탐색 속도가 향상됨을 확인하였다.

The purpose of this study is firstly to survey the social and cultural background of 20th century and women's status, and to identify what the ideal body is like and what the elements of outer garment and underwear are and the techniques to incarnate the ideal beauty. Various papers are referenced for theoretical study and the elements and techniques of underwear are analyzed based on photographical materials. This paper concludes as follows. In 1910's, ideal beauty has changed to H-style. In other words, the outer garment has confined the lower part of the body with plain H-type Hobble silhouette to express plump bust, somewhat slim waist, and small hips, As the underwears, cylindrical corsets which fasten from under the bust down to lap, brassiere which are helpful for plump bust, and artificial busts were worn. In 1920's, outer garment were Straight box silhouette style which were cut as tubular without dart, and the underwears were corselets which have been tubular from the bust to hip and the tubular chemi-knickers. The former corsets which had been hard-boned and been fastened with strings have been replaced by the hook closure due to the development of elastic joining method. In 1930's, women pursued perfect body showing the line of bust, waist, and hip. In order to express elegant beauty of female of Slim and long silhouette, Doter and underwear have been cut with bias and gore, and soft and flexible materials were flowed along the body. World war II in 1940's has made the women as social. Ideal beauty has changed to Short straight box silhouette which no more shows body line. Outer and underwears were simple and Practical style. In 1950's, ideal beauty was well-matured, elegant Women which were represented by round shoulder, conical breast, tiny waist and round hip. Outer garment showed Hourglass silhouette representing the body-tight suits with round shoulder pad and the wide flare skirts. As the underwears, conical brassiere by top circular stitch were preferred for plump and bulged bust and tight corsets for tiny waist and magnificent petticoats were worn.
