This study is Long term preservation measures which is closely related to preserving paper records, record condition evaluation, preservation measure and is conducted as follows. As for Means to Evaluate the Deterioration and Damaged Conditions of Records, research and analysis has been made on the contamination and deterioration examples such as damage, dry, stapler, metal, contamination, acidification which are the characteristics of paper record damage types. The of Paper record is one of the key procedures to evaluate the record material and its physi-chemical status in many criteria and to suggest the best preservation method. Between 1970 and 2000, the main record materials was fine paper and OMR paper along with partly newspaper and coarse paper, whereas the main recording material was ball point pen. Overall damage and deterioration status is, for record materials between 1940 and 1960, high deterioration was found and in urgent need for preservation measure and more damages are caused by tapes, staplers and metals. As for records after 1970, there is light deterioration but needs preservation process. There are approximately 3 million records produces before 2000, and assuming that there are 30 pages per record and that 30% has been damaged or deteriorated, 27 million pages are subject to preservation process. Among damaged or deteriorated records, there are large number of records impossible to go through deacidification process so manual preservation and restoration process is necessary as well. Securing manpower having preservation and restoration skills as well as preservation equipment(deacidification process, preservation and restoration) is in urgent need.

This paper proposes a novel fabrication method for a capacitive type micro-accelerometer with uniform nano-gap using photo-assisted electro-chemical etching. The sensitivity of the accelerometer should be improved while the electrodes between the inertial mass and the sensing comb should be narrowed. In this paper the nano-gap trench structure is fabricated using the photo-assisted electrochemical etching method. The sensor was designed and analysed using ANSYS simulator. The characteristics of the etching were observed according to the dc bias, the light intensity, the composition of the solution, the temperature of the solution, and the pattern pitch variation. The optimum etching conditions were dc bias of 2V, Blue LED of 20mA, 49wt% HF:DMF:D.I.Water=1:20:10, the pattern pitch of $20{\mu}m$. Uniform trench structure with width of 344nm and depth of $11.627{\mu}m$ are formed using the optimum condition.

The rapid aging is increasing as the shortage of medical facilities and the resulting of decline in the quality of public health. In order to ease the burden of rising medical expenses, advanced medical institutions are expanding their remote medical care to lower the cost of services. U-healthcare detects the changes in physical and chemical phenomena occurring in the human body and converts them into electrical signals that can be processed and feeds back to the results through analytical and visualization processes to select only the desired information from the measured signals. The service is provided through a process of providing an alarm to a user. However, traditional biometric methods of attaching sensors directly to the body can be annoying and rejected in daily life. Therefore, there is a need for a method of continuously measuring biometric information without causing inconvenience to daily life. In this paper, we propose an IR-UWB-based non-contact and non-responsive respiratory measurement system that can continuously monitor biological information without any inconveniences to daily life.

In this study, capacitive type pressure sensors based on low temperature co-fired ceramics (LTCC) technology for environmental monitoring were demonstrated. The LTCC is one of promising technology than is based one since it has many advantages (e.g., low cost production, high manufacturing yields and easy realizing 3D structure etc.) for sensor application. Especially, it has good mechanical and chemical properties for robust environmental application. The 3D LTCC diaphragm with thickness of 400 ${\mu}m$ were fabricated by laminating 4 green sheets using commercial powder (NEG, MLS 22C). To evaluate the sensing properties of the different cavity areas, two types of diaphragm which had different cavity areas with 25, 49 $mm^2$ respectively, were fabricated. To realize capacitive type pressure sensor, the Au top electrode was fabricated using thermal evaporator and the bottome electrode was compressed using aluminium foil. The sensing properties of the fabricated sensors showed linear characteristic under different pressure (0~30 psi) using pressure measurement system.
This study evaluated a preventive information communication system for the storage, handing, and transportation of hazardous materials according to the hazardous materials safety management law of Korea. At present, the chemical management system has very little information on accident responses due to a problem in the initial response. Therefore, this study was designed to improve the hazardous materials safety management law as an advanced method for simultaneous accident prevention and response, such as GHS system. This can also cause confusion in industry, such as manufacturing and import-export companies, because safety management laws and the GHS system are very different from the hazard classification systems. This study suggests a harmonization plan between the hazardous materials safety management law and the GHS classification system through an analysis of the hazardous materials classification system of major advanced countries.

With the synthesis of graphene on Cu using CVD, it was tried to show the behavior of graphene growth depending on the size and orientation of Cu grain. It was found out that even under the same temperature and pressure the use of different gases influences on the diffusion rate of Cu. As compared to Ar gas, Cu grain growing bigger under $H_2$ and $CH_4$ was resulted in bigger graphene grain. Corrosion resistance was evaluated by potentiodynamic polarization test in room temperature and found out that the graphene on Cu was more stable in order of 10 than pure Cu due to the chemical stability of graphene. The future work of this research will focus on the synthesis of graphene having no defects including grain boundaries, and its engineering use.

Using chemical vapor deposition(CVD), the synthesis of graphene was performed on poly and single crystalline Cu substrates. The growth behavior of graphene and its characterization were shown utilizing the optical microscopic image and its image analysis. As a result in the analysis of graphene growth, it was found out the graphene is growing always in particular direction in relation to the crystalline direction of a single grain in polycrystalline Cu substrate. With the image analysis it was possible to show the characterization of graphene, such as the growth direction and the number of layers showing single, double and triple layers, within the neighboring single grains in polycrystalline Cu. In addition, the relatively large area of graphene with about $3mm^2$ on Cu(111) having high quality, single layer, and single crystalline was shown along with its characterization.
An increase in oil and gas plants caused by development of process industry have brought into the increase in use of flammable and toxic materials in the complex process under high temperature and pressure. There is always possibility of fire and explosion of dangerous chemicals, which exist as raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods whether used or stored in the industrial plants. Since there is the need of efforts on disaster damage reduction or mitigation process, we have been conducting a research to relate explosion model on the background of real 3D terrain model. By predicting the extent of damage caused by recent disasters, we will be able to improve efficiency of recovery and, sure, to take preventive measure and emergency counterplan in response to unprepared disaster. For disaster damage prediction, it is general to conduct quantitative risk assessment, using engineering model for environmentaldescription of the target area. There are different engineering models, according to type of disaster, to be used for industry disaster such as UVCE (Unconfined Vapor Cloud Explosion), BLEVE (Boiling Liquid Evaporation Vapor Explosion), Fireball and so on, among them.we estimate explosion damage through UVCE model which is used in the event of explosion of high frequency and severe damage. When flammable gas in a tank is released to the air, firing it brings about explosion, then we can assess the effect of explosion. As 3D terrain information data is utilized to predict and estimate the extent of damage for each human and material. 3D terrain data with synthetic environment (SEDRIS) gives us more accurate damage prediction for industrial disaster and this research will show appropriate prediction results.

Organic electroluminescent devices are light-emitting diodes in which the active materials consist entirely of organic materials. Recently, many fluorescent organic materials have been reported and the study on synthesis and application of new organic light-emitting materials has been demanded. This paper reports the optical and electrical characteristics of OLEDs using novel polymers containing biphenyl structure. First, Optical properties of novel light-emitting biphenyl derivatives doped with poly(9-vinyl carbazole)(PVK) and emitted blue, bluish green color, which is attributed to the overlap area between PL spectrum of host(PVK) and absorption spectra of guests(polymer). This is correspondent with F$\"{o}$rster energy transfer process in the blends. And, OLED devices were fabricated using poly (3,4-ethylenedioxy thiophene) (PEDOT) as a hole injection material and tris-(8-hydroxyquinoline) aluminum ($Alq_3$) as an electron transporting material. EL devices fabricated as ITO/PEDOT/PVK doped with biphenyl derivatives/$Alq_3$/Li:Al and I-V-L chatacteristics and emitting efficiency of EL devices were examined. Finally, the drift mobility of PVK doped with biphenyl derivatives and $Alq_3$ were measured by TOF technique varying applied electric field. EL efficiency was increased as the ratio of hole mobility of PVK doped with biphenyl derivatives and electron mobility of $Alq_3$ was close to one.
