Today is the era of artificial intelligence. With the development of artificial intelligence, machines have begun to impersonate various human characteristics today. Chatbot is one instance of this interactive artificial intelligence. Chatbot is a computer program that enables to conduct natural conversations with people. As mentioned above, Chatbot conducted conversations in text, but Chatbot, in this study evolves to perform commands based on speech-recognition. In order for Chatbot to perfectly emulate a human dialogue, it is necessary to analyze the sentence correctly and extract appropriate response. To accomplish this, the sentence is classified into three types: objects, actions, and preferences. This study shows how objects is analyzed and processed, and also demonstrates the possibility of evolving from an elementary model to an advanced intelligent system. By this study, it will be evaluated that speech-recognition based Chatbot have improved order-processing time efficiency compared to text based Chatbot. Once this study is done, speech-recognition based Chatbot have the potential to automate customer service and reduce human effort.

Ease of use did not have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Fourth, service value of chatbot when purchasing fashion products in mobile shopping environment was found to have an effect on customer satisfaction with chatbot. Fifth, service value of chatbot on reuse intention when purchasing fashion products in the mobile shopping environment was found to have an effect on reuse intention of chatbot. Sixth, customer satisfaction with chatbot had a significant impact on the reuse intention of the chatbot when purchasing fashion products in the mobile shopping environment. Conclusions - The present study provide dimensions on the chatbot's characteristics and these may provide helpful data for further studies in this area and for marketers as well.
Purpose: Chatbots are widely diffusing across various industries to substitute human manpower in the industry. However as researchers only develop technology that is applied to chatbot, the diffusion is slow in progress. The purpose of this study is to propose useful implications to accelerate diffusion of chatbots across industries by analyzing the perception of customers. To achieve the research purpose this study analyzes causal effect relationship between characteristics of chatbot character, service quality, individual difference, and intention to use chatbot. Methods: This study developed a survey that contains various questionnaires for each construct based on literature review. Data collected through survey was tested for convergent validity and discriminant validity and further analyzed the relationship using PLS-SEM method to verify hypotheses. Results: Trustworthiness of the chatbot character, ease of use, application design, responsiveness, customization, assurance, inertia, and previous experience have significant influence on forming user satisfaction, consumer trust, and intention to use. The others, likability, appropriateness, technology anxiety, and need for interaction were not significant in this research. Conclusion: Although the constructs of the research model was significant in previous literatures, some do not have significant effect on intention to use chatbots. Based on the results, chatbot managers will be able to develop chatbot systems which are more appealing to users and more academic researchers will focus on analyzing user perception and intention.
This study aims to assess the impact of chatbot usability and demographics on continuous intention to use across different sectors. The research employed Braun's Bot Usability Scale (BUS11) to measure chatbot usability, focusing on accessibility, quality, conversation quality, privacy risk, and response time. A total of 187 participants completed a survey as part of this study. Variance-based SEM was utilized to examine relationships and test hypotheses. This study contributes to the ongoing discourse on chatbot adoption and user behaviour. It enhances the understanding of chatbot usability, highlighting the role of age in continued intention to use chatbots. The findings suggest that different age groups may possess specific preferences and expectations regarding chatbot usability. These differing preferences can influence their intention to continue using this technology. The study reveals that chatbot usability significantly impacts continuous intention to use and that age moderates the relationship between perceived conversation quality, information, privacy, security, and continuous intention to use. Based on the study's results, it is recommended that chatbot designers enhance usability to promote long-term adoption and usage.

Background: Despite the increased use of direct-acting oral anticoagulants, warfarin is still recommended as first-line therapy in patients with mechanical valves or moderate to severe mitral stenosis. Anticoagulation management services (AMSs) are warranted for patients receiving warfarin therapy due to the complexity of warfarin dosing and large interpatient variability. To overcome limited health care resources, we developed a messenger app-based chatbot that provides information to patients taking warfarin. Methods: We developed "WafarinTalk" as an add-on to the open-source messenger app KakaoTalk. We developed the prototype chatbot after building a database containing seven categories: 1) dosage and indications, 2) drug-drug interactions, 3) drug-food interactions, 4) drug-diet supplement interactions, 5) monitoring, 6) adverse events, and 7) precautions. We then surveyed 30 pharmacists and 10 patients on chatbot reliability and on participant satisfaction. Results: We found that 80% of the pharmacists agreed on the consistency of chatbot responses and 44% agreed on the appropriateness of chatbot. Furthermore, 47% of pharmacists said that they were willing to recommend the chatbot to patients. Of the seven categories, information on drug-food interaction was the most useful; 90% of patients said they were satisfied with the chatbot and 100% of patients said they were willing to use it when they were unable to see a pharmacist. We updated the prototype chatbot with feedback from the survey. Conclusion: This study showed that warfarin-related information could be provided to patients through a messenger application-based chatbot.
This study aims to examine the effects of customer experience on the relationship between brand trust and customer experience. The survey was conducted on consumers who experienced chatbot service through internet shopping mall, and the research hypothesis was verified by analyzing the final 299 questionnaires. The results of the study showed that the customer experience using chatbot service had a positive effect on chatbot trust, had a positive effect on shopping mall trust, seller trust and brand trust through the mediating role of chatbot trust, and the social presence of chatbot had a moderating effect in the trust transfer. This study provides a theoretical basis that customer experience of chatbot service has positive effect on brand trust through chatbot trust, and suggests implications in that chatbot service can be an important means of marketing. In future studies, various studies related to chatbot trust are needed.
