고압 디젤 인젝터 노즐 홀 수가 연료 분무 및 배기 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Nozzle Hole Number on Fuel Spray and Emission Characteristics of High Pressure Diesel Injector)

  • This paper This paper presents effect of nozzle hole number on spray characteristics and engine performance. Experiments were conducted to measure spray penetration and SMD distributions using a spray visualization system and PDPA (phase Doppler particle analyzer) system. In addition, engine performance and emission characteristics were measured using a single cylinder engine and emssion measurement systems. Results showed that 8-hole-injector exhibits improved spray performances. Furthermore, soot emission was decreased with 8-hole-injector, compared to that of 6-hole-injector.

  • This paper presents a parallel implementation of stiff-ness matrix calculation based on the processor farm model on a net-work of workstations running PVM programming environment. As the computational characteristics of stiffnes matrix exhibits good po-tentials for effective prallel computation the performance improve-ment is show to be almost linear with the number of sorkstations involved in the computation.

  • Carbon nanofiber exhibits superior and often unique characteristics of mechanical, electrical chemical and thermal properties. In this study, For improvement of the mechanical properties of composites, carbon nanofiber reinforced hybrid composites was investigated. For the effect of dispersion, The dispersion methods of solution blending and mechanical mixing were used. The mixing of solution blending method was used using ultrasonic. Dispersion of carbon nanofiber was observed by scanning electron microscope (SEM). Mechanical properties were measured by universal testing Machine (UTM).

Allometry of Lycomedes reichei Breme, 1844 and allied species

  • The subfamily Dynastinae generally exhibits strong dimorphism among males. However, until recently, studies on dimorphism and allometry were limited to horns. Lycomedes is a neotropic genus that belongs to the subfamily Dynastinae and is restricted to the Andean region of Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. Among the Colombian Lycomedes species, this study focuses on the L. reichei and allied species, which have been designated here as the L. reichei species group, that displays a dramatic allometry. Here, various morphological characteristics of the L. reichei species group were analyzed and an allometry was proven.

  • Chua's circuit is a simple electronic network which exhibits a variety of bifurcation and attractors. The circuit consists of two capacitors, an inductor, a linear resistor, and a nonlinear resistor. In this paper, a transmitter and a receiver using two identical Chua's circuits are proposed and synchronizations of a power line are investigated. Since the synchronization of the power line system is impossible by coupled synchronization, theory having both the drive-response and the coupled synchronization is proposed. As a result, the chaos synchronization has delay characteristics in the power line transmission system caused by the line parameters L and C.

  • An efficient interacting multiple mode(IMM) approach for tracking a maneuvering target with kinematic constraints is described based on the square root information filter(SRIF). The SRIF is employed instead of the conventional Kalman filter since it exhibits more efficient features in handling the kinematic constraints and improved numerical characteristics. The kinematic constraints are considered in the filtering process as pseudomeasurements where the degree of uncertainty is represented by the magnitude of the pseudomeasurement noise variance. The Monte Carlo simulations for the constant speed, maneuvering target are provided to demonstrate the improved tracking performance of the proposed algorithm.

  • Grossly, the liver exhibits marked cirrhotic changes characteristics of the pre-transformation phase of WHV. Microscopically, focal hepatocyte necrosis and inflammatory cells were observed in midzonal and periportal areas. Bridging portal fibrosis produced pseudolobulation due to entrapment of hyperplastic hepatocytes. Biliary hyperplasia, ductal cell proliferation, and increased amounts of fibrous connective tissue expanded portal areas and extended into periportal areas. Myofibroblasts stained positive for -SMA were detected in proliferating fibrotic tissue and sinusoids.

  • The basic structure of porphyrin consists of four pyrrole units linked by four methine bridges. It reveals that the cyclic 16-atom is the preferred cyclic system for n-electron delocalization since this pathway exhibits the highest degree of bond equalization. Scheme 1 (a) shows the 16-center system is the chromogen of the porphyrins, which allows 18-electron delocalization that could produce aromatic characteristics (1,2). (omitted)
