This research shows how autonomous character agents work in 3D sports game and its application to advertising. It is a kind of interdisciplinary study between game and advertising. In other words, advertising can be used a beneficiary model in game industry. For the purpose of analyzing the role of agents, 3D table-tennis game and advertising tools are developed. The role of agents is booming up and focusing on the game by their voices and texts. In game, several famous brands are showed up as a mean of advertising. This study analyzed the role of agents and advertising from the game user's position. For validity and reliability of the research, questionnaires were analyzed. As a results, several facts are found. Firstly, the agents worked positively as a game boomer. More than half of the respondents answered the agents are useful for the game. Secondly, the advertising tools showed up on the game are helpful to understand the brand. In other words, the game is contributed to build up the brand image. These kinds of attempts may be significant in that the agents are performed as a parter of functional and woman-oriented game. And advertising brands when placed in the game could play the role of the game item or quest. The proposed method can provide the basic references for developing 3D game as an interdisciplinary study.
Kongsfjorden near Korean Arctic Station, Dasan, is a glacial fjord in the Svalbard archipelago, Arctic that is influenced by both Atlantic and Arctic water masses. During the Arctic field season August 2002, surface temperature, salinity, density, and phytoplankton biomass (chi a) was measured in Kongsfjorden. A total of 15 surface samples were collected for the phytoplankton related measurements. Chl a values ranged from 0.08 to 1.4mg chi a $m^{-3}$ (mean of 0.53mg chl a $m^{-3}$) in the overall surface stations. The highest values of the chi a concentrations (> 1.0mg chi a $m^{-3}$) were found near glacier in the northeastern part of Kongsfjorden. Nanoplanktonic (< $20{\mu}m$) phytoflagellates were important contributors for the increase of the chi a. The nano-sized phytoflagellates accounted for more than 90% of the total chi a biomass in the study area. Surface temperatures and salinities ranged from 2.5 to $7.18^{\circ}C$ (mean of $4.65^{\circ}C$) and from 22.55 to 32.97 psu (mean of 30.16 psu), respectively. The physical factors were not highly correlated with phytoplankton distribution. The character of surface water due to down-fjord wind was highly similar to phytoplankton distribution. Drifting ice, freshwater, and semdiment inputs from large tidal glaciers located in the inner part of Konsfjorden create steep physico- and biogeochemical environmental gradients along the length of this ford. The glacial inputs cause reduced biodiversity biomass and productivity in the pelagic community in the inner fjord. Primary production of benthic and pelagic microalgae is reduced due to the limited light levels in the turbid and mixed inner waters. The magnitude of glacial effects diminishes towards the outer fjord. Kongsfjorden is an important feeding ground fer marine mammals and seabirds. Especially, seabirds play the largest energy intake and also export nutrients for primary production of the marine microalgae. Kongsfjorden has received a lot of research attention as a site for exploring the impacts of climate changes. Dasan Station in Kongsfjorden will be an important Arctic site for monitoring and detecting future environmental changes.
A term that has been used since ancient times, 'trickster' means 'a person who performs general tricks'. In other words, a trickster is a person who exhibits his or her intrinsic characteristics by using tricks, or who has a special ability to make any situation work well only for him or herself. This thesis looks for basic concepts and features of tricksters in research undertaken into tricksters to date. It also aims to uncover the trickster side of Maltugi in Talchum (a traditional mask dance). A trickster is a person who tricks, but the characteristic itself is unclear and abnormal. A trickster also has borderline, duplicitous or multi-value characteristics, so it is impossible to merely define him or her as 'a person who tricks'. When dealing with a trickster's characteristics, the 'Liminality' element is very important, because he or she is a person who exists in all the borderlines of space, time, society, and language, and assaults the social order via deceit, play, and the fulfillment of greed. Maltugi in Talchum is a man of humble birth, but he is a character who attacks the Yangban (aristocrats) without hesitation. He is a kind of representative of the people who speaks for the commoners' feelings. At a time of the Three Policies' Disorder and frequent external aggressions, the commoners felt a sense of helplessness against the Yangban, who they viewed as immoral. Maltugi laughs at and depreciates the Yangban through the use of puns, and shows a faithful attitude to the present without being afraid of the result caused by his activity. This implies that he has the characteristics of a trickster.
This study is to reveal the meaning of the interaction between a player and a game with the approach of an operational interaction such as joystick and keyboard, and also a representational interaction that the player takes during the game. It has been usually recognized that cut-scene in existing games is just limited to the role of opening scene that delivers mainly a background story of the game, and has the only passive function that serves additionally the expression of the state of the player or the replay of the results of the player's action. But in the aspect of game-direction, the study of the player's action about the interaction movie of 'Uncharted2', for example, one of the most representative video games, shows the possible classification of interaction movie along with three functions(situation direction, induced selective-action, information transfer). As a result, it is judged that interaction movie is not an additional element for the game-play, but rather takes the function of as an interface. The effective application of interaction movie could help a smooth connection between the recognizability from the view point of the player and the playing from the main character's viewpoint, ultimately leading to a direct means to maximize the delivery of the story.
In the 21C, each nation controls exhaust fumes from automobiles and makes an effort to develop alternative energy because of serious environmental problem. Jechon area has many historical and cultural archeological sites. And Jechon city sponsors various cultural events. But the way of transportation which is connected with Jecheon and around sightseeing places is general and not ready yet. Therefore, if a special means of vehicle is developed, it could play an another role of sightseeing resources. Special identity of Jecheon area for establishment of green vehicle traffic system which gives Jecheon area specific character was investigated for theoretical background. Traffic system was studied for establishment of direction through existent successful case study. Moreover content, method, structure and advantage & shortcoming etc. of vehicle that use green energy resource such as solar car, fuel cell car, hybrid car, natural gas car etc. were examined. The suitable means of vehicle for Jechon area was proposed to three directions with research and investigation. After comparison and investigation by inquiry of each section's experts, the most suitable traffic system of which energy resource of car, form of vehicles, the complement, dimension of vehicles etc. were decided. Design proposal should be drawn according to process of automobile design in decided direction. Special Exterior design of vehicle that use green energy resource connecting Jecheon and around area should be suggested in Jecheon City Hall and Chungchong-bukdo provincial office for vivify image of cleanliness area.
The Ministry of Science and Technology has been planning various events and carrying them out as the effort for promotion and popularization of science. The ministry has made followings: i)Science culture year, 2004 ii) Physics year, 2006 iii)Chemistry year, 2007 iv)Biology year, 2008. Especially, in 2006 the ministry held various exhibitions and contests about chemistry. The science play "Oxygen" had been presented in the whole country, 2006. From 2006 to 2007 the moving science museum had been displayed many times in the whole country. The national broadcast media KBS made a special program and televised several times to commemorate the year of chemistry. Like that in 2006 the chemistry approached to general people. In these surroundings, we wondered how chemistry was expressed in daily newspaper and how the general public accepted chemistry in the year of chemistry, 2006. So we selected four daily newspaper and researched descriptions about chemistry then analyzed the image of chemistry in that descriptions. When we research, we first selected 5 words of high frequency. On the internet research engine we used these 5 words and searched descriptions. We read and sorted descriptions which were more connected to chemistry. Finally we analyzed the images of descriptions(affirmative or negative) and character. The chemistry's image on newspaper descriptions influences people greatly. Because that is the easiest channel.
The health center has to play an important role in promoting community health and satisfying a variety of community health needs and demands in the decentralized Korea. The nearly enacted Community Health Act compels every health center to make its own health plans which intend to deal with local health problems and plan its future health care. This obligation is obviously a big burden to most health centers. They do not have experiences in and abilities of making local health care plans. In order to establish a systematic community health plan, health centers have to concentrate their efforts on enhancing the ability of making health care plan through gathering and analysing the local health informations. However, it is very difficult in reality. This is simply because it will take long time to accomplish these activities. It seems natural that various professionals and researchers participate in carrying out the process of making community health plan in the initial stage. No standardized methodology and analysing framework exist even in the health professional society. Nonetheless, it is common to introduce survey research methodologies in analysing consumer's health care utilization and cost, and in identifying factors influencing health behaviors. Many researchers and professionals have applied social survey methodologies in obtaining information on providers and health policy makers as well. The authors have found that few studies have ever utilized local health data stored at the self-employed medical insurance society as the data source of planning activities. The purpose of this study is to illustrate the usefulness of the data stored at the Sung-Dong Gu Self-employed Medical Insurance Society in establishing the community health plan. The major contents of this study are as follows ; 1. frequency of utilization by age, area, sex, type of medical care institutions, and some major diseases 2. Medical treatment by type of medical care institutions, by classification of 21 diseases, by frequency of three-character categories 3. Medical treatment of major neoplasm and some chronic diseases by age, sex, and area. The conclusion of this study is that it is of great potentiality to find out the local health problems and to use them in blueprinting the community health plan through comparing the frequency of medical utilization analyzed by a variety of variables with NHI health data or the health data from survey research.
There are symbolicity and special meaning in the materials which are supposed to be used metalcraft from ancient to present. These are basical resources of hermeneutics and play a role as moaning elements. Generally, the precious Cold and Silver are mainly to be used with precious stone. And his works are very big size, and done by the skills of painting and sculpture. Since policies of each local government toward regional development have been focusing on only development of the individual applied items such as a character merchandise, co-regional brand, and developing a speciality for the region, the adverse effects of design have been came out. So we carried out this research to minimize the adverse effect of design and also we would like to give the opportunity of thinking of a new way to activate local economy, to create regional identity and to develop local resources by applying the Cl program which have bean used as the way of business improvement coping with the conceptional change of competitiveness with a comprehensive view. Therefore, for design to play an important role in regional development, as standing on the basis of regional development it is necessary to attain the various goals such as activating administrative organization, improving the administrative image, and making the local in go unique. And also it is necessary to develop the communicational strategy as an innovative and expressive program which can consider human network development as an regional resource. To carry out this communicational strategy effectively, in particular, it is not only inevitable to operate the strategic and comprehensive programs promoting the regional development according to the of 6 stages design develop cent program which consists of region's self-verification and self-recognition, self-determination, development of self-innovation, visibility to unify the regional images, creating the design system, and carrying out and verifying the program, but also it is necessary to apply regional development system which can change the regional basic plan, aiming at regional development, into unique regional trait that has an future image by improving the program with constant management and feedback through verifying the design program.
The purpose of this study was to present a new research method of stage costume by designing and making the stage costume of Yean-GaeSoMoon(淵蓋蘇文) in Peking Opera Du Mu Guan (Korean; Dog Mog Guan, 獨木關). The stage costume of Peking Opera was formed on the basis of the Chinese traditional stage costume in the Qing period, however the style of stage costume was beautified the costume of Ming period and here contained the factors of successive costumes. But the stage costume of Peking Opera didn't have the same rank system with real history costume and didn't have demarcation according to period and history. In the stage costume of Peking Opera, the color is cultural language that can inform spectators of sex, age, personality, position of characters. The pattern of decoration also symboled the personality and characteristic of the character. Yean-GaeSoMoon in the play wore green armour (Chinese; ru ying kao 綠硬靠), red pants (Chinese; hong ku 紅褲), red mustache (Chinese; hong ran kou 紅髥口), crown (Chinese; da e zi 大額子), shoes (Chinese; hou di xue 厚底靴) and Xue RenGui wore white armour (Chinese; baikao 白靠), red pants (Chinese; hong ku 紅褲), shoes (Chinese; hou di xue 厚底靴), hat (Chinese; za jin 扎巾). By historical materials, Yean-GaeSoMoon was a nationalist who uphold national sprit and the greatest hero of the age and a charismatic politician who combines literatural arts with military arts. On the basis of this image, presented three types of Yean-GaeSoMoon's stage costume. Yean-GaeSoMoon as the minister in the court wore black gown (Chinese; mang pao 蟒袍) of dargon pattern which symbolizes harisma who opening the heaven. He as the general who directs war wore red mantle (Chinese; dou peng 斗蓬) which symbolizes the blue dragon that soaring into the sky, as the officer who fights the enemy's general wore green armour (Chinese; gai liang jia 改良甲), red pants (Chinese; hong ku 紅褲) which symbolizes the flying Sward that blowing violently. By wearing these stage costumes, the image of Yean-GaeSoMoon could changed from the fierce general of minority race who likes to fight, to the Koguryo general who fights against enemy at the risk of his life for Koguryo's autonomy. Through this study once again we could realized that stage costume played very mportant part In outstnding the characteristic of actor in the Peking Opera.
