This study examined human rights perception, cultural diversity perception, level of character perception, and influencing factors for university students in order to prepare basic data on integrated education methods of character, human rights and cultural diversity and education program models. The research questions are as follows. 1. What are university students' perceptions of character, cultural diversity and human rights? 2. What is the status of the experience of family life education on character, cultural diversity, and human rights, and is it related to the level of perception? 3. What variables affect character perception, cultural diversity perception, and human rights perception? The survey targeted 407 students at two universities in Seoul and used IBM PASW Statistics as a tool to analyze data. The study results are as follows. First, university students' character, cultural diversity and human rights perception were above average; however, empirical education is still required because they had low scores in the area of action. Second, male university students have less experience in family life education on character, cultural diversity and human rights compared to female university students. Third, it is necessary to integrate education for character, cultural diversity and human rights because the most influential factors in character perception, cultural diversity perception and human rights perception were character education. The role of family life education should be considered important because personality education in the home showed a relatively high correlation.

본 논문은 한글 및 영문자의 구조적 특징을 이용하여 자연영상에서 문자영역을 검출하는 기법을 제안하였다. 자연 영상에서 에지 특징 값을 추출하고 추출된 특징 값은 필터링을 수행하여 문자의 특징에 맞지 않는 특징 값을 제거하여 문자영역 후보를 선정한다. 선정된 문자영역 후보는 한글 자소 병합 알고리즘으로 하나의 문자로 병합하여 후보 문자영역으로 검출하고, 한글 문자 유형 판별 알고리즘으로 한글 문자영역 여부를 판별함으로서 한글 문자영역을 검출하고, 영문자는 영문자 에지 특징 값을 적용하여 영문자 영역을 검출한다. 실험결과, 복잡한 배경을 갖고 다양한 환경에서 촬영된 영상에서 한글 및 영문자 영역을 효과적으로 검출하였고, 제안한 문자영역 검출 방법은 향상된 검출 결과를 보여 주었다.

디지털 게임의 등장이후 하드웨어 발전과 더불어 게임의 핵심 요소인 캐릭터는 인체비례론을 바탕으로 유저들이 선호하는 등신비율의 유형으로 변화하고 있다. 등신비율의 변화에 따른 게임에서 캐릭터의 독특한 이미지로 게이머들에게 인기가 많다. 현재까지 등신비율에 대한 연구는 아직 미흡하다고 사료된다. 본 연구는 게임캐릭터 개발에 있어 조형요소로서 인체비례가 가지는 중요성을 근간으로, 게임캐릭터들의 특성을 고찰하고, 게임캐릭터의 등신비율을 분류, 그 결과를 분석하는 연구방법을 통하여, 등신비율의 현황을 살펴보고, 앞으로 게임이미지에 미치는 영향에 대해 연구해보고자 한다. 분석한 다섯 가지 유형의 게임캐릭터는 독특한 이미지와 함께, 특성화된 등신비율일수록 유저들이 선호하며, 조형적으로 실제 인체보다 과장된 등신비율이 주를 이루는 것으로 분석되었다. 그래픽 배경화면에서 캐릭터가 상대적으로 작아 보이는 비례의 어려움을 조금 과장된 캐릭터를 활용하여 가시성을 높였다. 이 연구를 통해 게임캐릭터의 등신비율은 게임개발에 있어 게임이미지로서 매우 중요한 요소로 사료된다.

본 연구는 간호교육과정에서 인성교육의 중요함을 제안하고 있다. 인성이 무엇인가를 정의하기는 매우 어렵다. 인성이라는 것이 매우 추상적이고 포괄적이기 때문이다. 그럼에도 동양에서는 인성이란 본래 타고난 성품이라는 의미가 담겨 있다. 인성이 사람의 마음바탕과 됨됨이 두 요소를 가지고 있는데, 사람의 마음바탕은 본래의 성질이므로 교육으로 변화되기 어려우나 사람의 됨됨이는 바르게 형성할 수 있도록 교육할 수 있으며 이러한 교육을 인성교육이라고 한다. 최근 우리나라에서 인성을 함양하기 위한 교육은 매우 뜨거운 주제가 되었으며, 특히 간호학과 간호교육인증평가에 있어서도 인성교육이 강조되고 있다. 좋은 간호사가 되기 위해서는 단순한 기술뿐만 아니라 다른 사람을 돕거나 윤리적 임상적 판단을 하는 능력도 갖추어야 한다. 그러나 현실적으로 우리나라 대다수의 간호학과에서는 간호사가 되기 위한 면허 취득 관련 커리큘럼이 너무 과밀하게 되어 있는 것이 사실이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이를 완화하고 인성교육에 대한 커리큘럼을 확대해 나가는 것에 대해 제언을 하였다.

본 연구는 2009 개정 3,4학년 수학 교과용 도서에서 인성 요소를 어떠한 방식으로 포함하고 있는지 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이 연구에서는 교과서 및 교사용 지도서에 제시된 자료 중에서 인성 요소를 발견할 수 있는 부분을 먼저 찾고, 그것이 어떤 방식으로 수학적 내용과 연계되고 있는가를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 3,4학년 수학 교과서 대부분의 단원에서 인성 요소를 발견할 수 있었으나 특정 인성 요소에 편중되어 있었다. 둘째, 인성 요소를 연계하고 있는 방식으로 직접적인 인성적인 소재 활용이 가장 많았고, 수학적인 개념과 접목, 광의의 관점에서 접목, 그리고 문제해결 단계에서 접목하는 방법 순으로 빈도가 많았다. 셋째, 상대적으로 책임, 인내, 공정, 용기 등의 인성 요소가 취약하게 다루어졌다. 본 연구 결과 시사점으로는 편중되어 있는 인성의 요소를 가능한 고르게 반영하여 초등학교 수학 교과용 도서를 개발할 필요가 있다. 그리고 단순한 인성적인 소재 활용 외에도 수학적인 개념과 접목하거나 광의의 관점에서 접목하는 등의 수학적으로 보다 의미 있는 인성 요소 연계방안에 대한 후속적인 연구가 필요함을 제안하였다.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine cluster types according to the playfulness factors of young children and to predict the character strengths of young children which have an influence on the types of children's playfulness. Methods: Playfulness and character strength tests were administered to 237 young children. The playfulness groups were classified by cluster analysis and the logistic regression analysis. It was used to find the character strengths of young children that have a effect on the types of children's playfulness. Results: First, the children's playfulness groups were divided into a high playfulness group and a low playfulness group. Second, there was a significant difference in all character strengths according to the children's playfulness cluster, and the high playfulness group was statistically significantly high in all character strengths. Third, the children's character strengths influencing the high playfulness group were vitality and positivity, self-regulation, self-esteem, and sensibility. Conclusion/Implications: Based on these results, the necessity of supporting these character strengths was discussed in order to improve the playfulness of children in the education field.

보통의 CPU 처럼 명령어 기반으로 정규표현식 패턴 매칭을 수행하는 정규표현식 프로세서가 최근에 연구되었다. 이들 중 REMPc만이 문자 클래스 처리를 위한 기능을 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 정규표현식에서 사용 빈도가 높은 문자 클래스들에 대해서 명령어의 오퍼랜드 필드에 비트맵 방식으로 나타내고, 하드 배선 방식으로 이 문자 클래스에 대한 매칭을 수행하여 효율적인 문자클래스 매칭을 수행하는 구조를 제안한다. 제안한 방법을 사용하면 Snort 규칙의 문자 클래스에 대해서 대부분의 문자 클래스를 명령어의 한 오퍼런드 또는 한 명령어로 나타낼 수 있다. 이처럼 REMPc에 비해서 적은 수의 명령어를 사용하므로 효율적인 문자 클래스 매칭을 할 수 있다.

Novels includes various character names, depending on the genre and the spatio-temporal background of the novels and the nationality of characters. Besides, characters and their names in a novel are created by the author's pen and imagination. As a result, any proper noun dictionary cannot include all kind of character names which have been created or will be created by authors. In addition, since Korean does not have capitalization feature, character names in Korean are harder to detect than those in English. Fortunately, however, Korean has postpositions, such as "-ege" and "hante", used by a sentient being or an animate object (noun). We call such postpositions as animate postpositions in this paper. In a previous study, the authors manually selected character names by referencing both Wikipedia and well-known people dictionaries after utilizing Korean morpheme analyzer, a proper noun dictionary, postpositions (e.g., "-ga", "-eun", "-neun", "-eui", and "-ege"), and titles (e.g., "buin"), in order to extract social networks from three novels translated into or written in Korean. But, the precision, recall, and F-measure rates of character identification are not presented in the study. In this paper, we evaluate the quantitative contribution of animate postpositions to character identification from novels, in terms of precision, recall, and F-measure. The results show that utilizing animate postpositions is a valuable and powerful tool in character identification without a proper noun dictionary from novels translated into or written in Korean.

The purpose of this study was to examine teaching competency for character education of early childhood teachers and their demands to improve their capacities. 152 kindergarten and child care teachers responded to 30 survey questionnaires, which included 3 sub-factors(commutative, practical, instrumental) of teaching competency for character education of the teachers, as well as 16 detailed components, designed to check their current competency for character education and to investigate the priority elements that they desired to improve. The data were analyzed based on the Borich request formula, the locus for focus model, and the independent sample t-test across the teacher groups. The results were as follows: Firstly, the most highly demanded teaching competency by the teachers was using tools interactively for character education. And the teachers, among the sub-elements, requested (a) recording and evaluating character education systematically, (b) using local or national resources, (c) planning member's participation, and (d) performing character education related activities systematically. Secondly, more new teachers demanded instrumental competency and answered the need of parents' participation among the sub-elements, more than the more experienced teachers, respectively. The study discussed the implications of promoting early childhood teachers' teaching competency for character education.

본 연구에서는 접합 문자를 분할하는 알고리듬을 소개한다. 문자 인식기는 문자를 인식하기 위해 문자 분할을 전처리 단계에 필요로 하는데, 문자 분할은 높은 수행력을 위해 문자 인식 결과를 필요로 한다. 이 딜레마를 해결하기 위해서는 문자 분할과 문자 인식, 이 두 문제를 동시에 해결하는 방법이 필요하다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 문자 분할 전에 접합문자 내에 있는 소속 문자를 인식하고 문자를 분할하는 새로운 문자 분할 방법을 제시한다. 본 연구에서 제시한 문자 분할알고리즘은 접합 문자 내에 있는 소속 문자를 문자 분할 전에 인식하기 위해 측면 윤곽을 정의하고, 그 히스토그램을 구해 프로토타입에 있는 단일 문자의 측면 윤곽 히스토그램과 비교 계산하여 가장 적은 거리차를 가지는 단일 문자를 분할 문자의 일차 후보로 내정하여, 분할 비용을 가지고 접합 문자를 분할한다.
