  • In the paper, system is combined multiband system with DS-UWB techniques with properties including low peak-to-average power ratio, robustness to multiuser interference and excellent security. Because each sub-band is not satisfied with coherence bandwidth, rake receiver in each sub-band is applied to the Proposed system receiver. Output of rake receiver is combined by using Maximal Ratio combining technology. In this paper we mathematically analyse the BER of the DS-UWB system with singleband and multiband systems in the narrow interference channel condition and multi user interference channel condition, the simulation results show that proposed scheme is getting robuster with increasing of the number of subbands.

  • The Korean radio broadcasting system is analog. Compared with digital radio, the analog radio decreases the frequency efficiency. HD Radio is the method where the digital signal is transmitted on either side of the analog PM signal. Therefore, without relocating the analog frequency can transmit digital signals. If interference between analog and digital signal occurs it is impossible to receive smoothly, so HD Radio interference with existing analog PM will be analyzed. In this paper, based on Mt.Gwae-Bang stations within +-400kHz frequency of l03.5MHz, and to use the station to station by specifying the HD Radio channel interference, place the structures were analyzed. Through this paper, the reader of a digital radio frequency interference in the system know that it may obtain information about.

  • Frequency reuse among relay stations (RSs) in a down-link access zone is widely adopted for throughput enhancement in IEEE 802.16j relay networks. Since the areas covered by the RSs or the base station (BS) may overlap, some mobile stations (MSs) at the border between two neighboring transmitting stations (RS or BS) using an identical frequency band may suffer severe interference or outage. This co-channel interference within the cell degrades the quality of service (QoS) fairness among the MSs as well as the system throughput. Exclusive use of a frequency band division (orthogonal resource allocation) among RSs can solve this problem but would cause degradation of the system throughput. We observe a trade-off between system throughput and QoS fairness in the previously reported schemes based on frequency reuse. In this paper, we propose a new frequency reuse scheme that achieves high system throughput with a high fairness level in QoS, positioning our scheme far above the trade-off curve formed by previous schemes. We claim that our scheme is beneficial for applications in which a high QoS level is required even for the MSs at the border. Exploiting the features of a directional antenna in the BS, we create a new zone in the frame structure. In the new zone, the RSs can serve the subordinate MSs at the border and prone to interference. In a 3-RS topology, where the RSs are located at points $120^{\circ}$ apart from one another, the throughput and Jain fairness index are 10.64 Mbps and 0.62, respectively. On the other hand, the throughput for the previously reported overlapped and orthogonal allocation schemes is 8.22 Mbps (fairness: 0.48) and 3.99 Mbps (fairness: 0.80), respectively. For a 6-RS topology, our scheme achieves a throughput of 18.38 Mbps with a fairness of 0.68; however, previous schemes with frequency reuse factors of 1, 2, 3, and 6 achieve a throughput of 15.24 Mbps (fairness: 0.53), 12.42 Mbps (fairness: 0.71),8.84 Mbps (fairness: 0.88), and 4.57 Mbps (fairness: 0.88), respectively.

  • Reader-to-reader interference in RFID system is occurred due to the use of limited number of frequencies, and this is the main cause of read rate reduction in the passive RFID tags. Therefore, in order to maximize the read rate under the circumstances of limited frequency resources, it is necessary to minimize the frequency interference among RFID readers. This paper presents a hybrid FDM/TDM constraint satisfaction problem models for frequency interference minimization problems of the RFID readers, and assigns optimal channels to each readers using conventional backtracking search algorithms. A depth first search based on backtracking are accomplished to find solutions of constraint satisfaction problems. At this moment, a variable ordering algorithm is very important to find a solution quickly. Variable ordering algorithms applied in the experiment are known as efficient in the graph coloring. To justify the performance of the proposed constraint satisfaction problem model, optimal channels for each readers in the passive UHF RFID system are allocated by using computer simulation satisfying various interference constraints.

  • In this paper, we propose a distributed user scheduling with transmit power control based on the amount of interference inflicted to other BSs in multi-cell uplink networks. Assuming that the channel reciprocity time-division duplexing(TDD) system is used, the channel state information (CSI) can be obtained at each user from pilot signals from other BSs. The amount of generating interference to other BSs will be calculated at each user. Especially, in this paper, we propose the threshold-based transmit power control, in which a user decrease its transmit power if its generating interference to other BSs is larger than a predetermined threshold. Simulation results show that the proposed technique significantly outperforms the existing user scheduling algorithms.

  • In this paper, we propose a cooperative vehicle communication scheme for high transmission efficiency and coverage extension under multipath fading environment of moving vehicle networks. The proposed scheme uses a Network coding scheme for improvement of receiving performance by using virtual Multiple-Input Multiple-Output(MIMO) transmit diversity. Simulation results have shown that the proposed scheme also provides alleviated Inter Symbol Interference(ISI) and Inter Channel Interference(ICI) as well as Signal-to-Noise Ratio(SNR) improvement and improve 3dB compared to the conventional scheme, since it can utilize the good properties of spatial diversity and coding gain by using virtual MIMO configuration. In this paper, we propose simulations of Ultra-Wideband(UWB) communication system to show validity by using the MATLAB.

  • In the next generation of mobile communication systems, high data rates and high capacity will be possible if multiple antennas are used at new frequencies. This paper presents the correlations between channel parameter path loss (PL), delay spread (DS), angular spread (AS) and K-factor established based on channel measurements. To avoid interference from Korean DTV broadcasting, we measured the channel characteristics in urban/rural/suburban areas on Jeju Island using a channel sounder and $4{\times}4$ antennas. The correlations between channel parameter show that the wireless channel characteristics can be determined and effective communication system design can be produced for use in similar environments.

  • This paper proposes an efficient and low complexity power-loading algorithm for MIMO-OFDM downlink based cognitive radio system that maximizes the sum rate of single secondary user (SU) under constraints on the tolerable interference thresholds between secondary user and primary user's frequency bands and the total transmission power. Our suboptimal algorithm is based on the $2^{nd}$ order interference tracking and nulling mechanism to allocate transmission power of the subcarriers among SU's scheme. The performance of our proposed suboptimal scheme is compared with the performance of the classical power loading algorithms, e.g., water filling, $1^{st}$ order interference tracking, nulling, and other suboptimal schemes. Numerical results show that our algorithm has low complexity but obtains a higher channel capacity than that of some previous suboptimal algorithms in some scenarios. We dedicate also that for a given interference threshold, the $2^{nd}$ order interference tracking mechanism has dynamic number of nulling position instead fixed number of nulling position.

  • In this paper, we consider the performance improvement that can be obtained with interference alignment (IA) technique applied to 802.11ac based multi-BSS WiFi service. To this end, we developed a system simulator consisting of a link-level PHY simulator, based on 802.11ac specification, and multi-BSS proportional-fair scheduler. Specifically, assuming perfect channel side information and synchronization of signals from multiple APs, we used a SLNR based interference alignment algorithm proposed in [13] and compared its performance with that of multiuser beamforming based time-sharing system. The performance was evaluated in terms of average throughput per BSS and 5% worst user throughput. The results show that 70 to 100% throughput gain can be obtained in this ideal scenario.

  • In this paper, we investigate a minimum mean-squared error based nonlinear successive precoding method as a practical solution of dirty paper coding for multiuser downlink channels where each user has more than one antenna in the presence of other cell interference (OCI). Unlike conventional zero-forcing (ZF) based methods, the proposed scheme takes the OCI plus noise into account when suppressing the inter-cell multiuser interference, which results in improvement of the received signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme outperforms conventional methods in terms of sum rate for various OCI configurations.
