Purpose: This study aims at understanding the impacts of three omnichannel attributes (channel transparency, channel uniformity, channel convenience) and four customer perceptions (perceived innovativeness, perceived personalization, perceived risk, perceived credibility) on customer experience and channel selection decision. Research design and methodology: A quantitative online survey with 356 shoppers was executed. The partial least squares linear structural model (PLS-SEM) and Smart PLS were adopted to analyze the collected data and test the proposed hypotheses. Results: The research findings indicate four dominant results: (i) The customers' channel selection is directly determined by customer experience; perceived innovativeness; perceived personalization; perceived risk; and perceived credibility; and (ii) among these, the perceived risk shows negative impact on the customer's experience and customers' channel selection whereas others reveal the positive status; (iii) The customer experience represents the most decisive impact on the channel selection, then perceived personalization, perceived credibility, perceived innovativeness, and perceived risk. (iv) Three proposed channel attributes (transparency, uniformity, convenience) significantly influence the overall customer experience. Conclusions: This research adds to the body of knowledge in omnichannel retailing, customer experience, and customer channel selection. Furthermore, this research provides omnichannel retailers with practical implications for improving customer channel selection.

Creating a new retailing environment to meet the seamless experience requirements of consumers is a challenge for Omnichannel-related businesses. Based on the "appraisal-emotion-response" chain, the purpose of this research is to explore the psychological mechanism of omnichannel integration influencing customer retention and the moderating effect of customer showrooming experience. This research uses a structural equation model in partial least square software to analyze a two-stage survey (Study 1: n = 210; Study 2: n = 342) conducted in China. The results show that channel control experience has three dimensions: perceived channel attribute familiarity, channel type matching, and cross-channel access convenience; consistent interactive experience has two dimensions: information cross-channel consistency and cross-channel service support. Furthermore, both channel control experience and consistent interactive experience are favorable for customer retention through increased customer satisfaction (transactional and retailer satisfaction). Finally, customer showrooming experience positively moderates the relationship between consistent interactive experience and customer satisfaction. This research proposes a self-regulation process model to explain how omnichannel integration enhances consumers' experience, finally leading to consumer retention. The findings contribute to the omnichannel retail business literature and provide management implications for Asian retailers to implement an omnichannel business strategy.
Purpose - The ICT(information and communications technologies) development is affecting consumer behaviors on selecting channel or distribution system. This study aims to advance our knowledge about the factors influencing omni-channel behaviors. This study considers the positive brand experience as the moderating variable into the relationship between omini-channel use intention and consumer brand relation. Also, the effect of positive brand experience on consumer-brand relation is researched. Research design, data, and methodology - This study conducted an empirical test with the subject as customers who purchase goods or service through on-off cross channel simultaneously. The research model is developed from prior literatures about influencing variables on channel selection. The structure of this study is designed to identify causal relationships between the variables. 268 survey data from the questionnaire survey which is conducted to target customers who use online and offline channels, is used for empirical analysis. This study validates generality with descriptive statistics and data reliability with Cronbach's alpha value. The exploratory factor analysis is used for value purification. Then, the confirmatory factor analysis is conducted for structural equation modeling. Finally, the execute structural equation modeling is analyzed to confirm the hypotheses Results - First, the two causal influences between perceived performance risk and the propensity of omni-channel and between price consciousness and the propensity of omni-channel are verified through the empirical test. Second, the result identifies that the propensity of omni-channel is influenced on consumer-brand relationship. Third, the AMOS analysis proves that the moderating variable, positive brand experience, has significant positive impact on consumer-brand relationship. This significant relationship is highly supported by the regression analysis between brand experience and propensity of omni-channel because it results that positive brand experience has positive impact on the propensity of omni-channel. All hypotheses are verified to be true. Conclusions - Based on the empirical result, this study confirms that perceived performance risk and price consciousness are the important factors influencing propensity of omni-channel. According to the additional analysis, the moderating variable and positive brand experience plays important role between the propensity of omni-channel and consumer-brand relationship. Furthermore, positive brand experience influences more on consumer-brand relationship than non-positive brand experience.
Purpose: By integrating multiple separate online, offline distribution channels, omnichannel distribution has modernized and revolutionized the retailing sector. Omnichannel distribution supports firms by delivering seamless shopping experiences for customers throughout all touchpoints of the shopping journey. This paper aims at exploring the impact of channel integration quality on customer experience and patronage intentions in the omnichannel distribution context. Research design, data and methodology: An online survey was taken with 351 omnichannel experienced shoppers by utilizing the structured questionnaire. The partial least square-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) and Smart PLS software were employed to analyze and test proposed hypotheses. Results: The findings reveal that channel integration quality dimensions including breadth of channel-service choice, transparency of channel-service configuration, content consistency, and process consistency, play crucial roles in the customer shopping experience. The perceived compatibility has been influenced by the integrated interactions in which content consistency and process consistency. The findings also demonstrate the positive and direct impact of perceived compatibility on customer experience, and both factors have substantial effects on customers' patronage intentions. Conclusions: This study sheds light on the literature on channel integration quality, omnichannel retailing experience and customer patronage. In addition, this study provides practical implications for omnichannel retailers in enhancing customer experience and patronage.
Purpose: This study aims to examine customer experience toward repurchase intention in offline and online stores and discuss customer satisfaction as a mediator variable. Research design, data, and methodology: This study investigates customer experience that consists of product, customer service, staff service, shopping environment and shopping procedure toward customer satisfaction using Regression Linear. This study also measures customer satisfaction as a mediated variable in the relationship between customer experience and repurchase intention using Sobel Test. Results: Almost all of the customer experience hypothesis is significant toward customer satisfaction, shopping process experience in the context of the online channel to customer satisfaction is not significant. We also found that customer satisfaction can be mediated variable in customer experience toward repurchase intention. Conclusions: Retails who want to make customers feel satisfied to have to make sure that have good resources in improving the product, the customer service is easy to contact to find the solution over customer problem in purchasing product, also develop the staff member skill in functional product knowledge, presentations, and communicating with customers online or offline, the retailer has to create enjoyment and pleasurable customer emotion through the shopping environment and also give seamless shopping experience to their customer in two-channel.
We examine offline and online channel sales of experience goods, and compare and contrast the sales patterns of existing products and new products between channels. To this end, we obtain the channel-specific time-series sales data from the leading company selling beauty products, both offline and online. By applying the Vector Autoregressive Model, we empirically find out how the relationship between existing products and new products changes between the shopping channels. Our empirical findings are as follows. First, the sales effects from existing products to new products are significantly positive at both offline and online channels, and this positive effect is greater in the offline channel than in the online channel. Second, the influence of new products on existing products is more positive in the offline channel than in the online channel. Third, the impact of existing products sales on new products sales is greater than that of new products on existing products. Lastly, the inertia effect, the effect within the same shopping channel and the same selling product, is significantly positive in the offline channel but not in the online channel, and this asymmetric inertia effect emerges as we focus on experience goods. Moreover, the impulse response function analysis provides the three important implications. First, companies should pay attention to the same channel but different types of products. Second, the offline channel is more vulnerable to market shock than the online channel. Third, new products sales vary by existing products sales to the greater extent, compared to the opposite relationship. We believe our study contributes theoretically and practically to the fields of marketing and knowledge management.

In the last decade, the 2.4 GHz band of IEEE 802.11 WLANs has become heavily congested due to the explosive increase in demand of Wi-Fi connectivity. With the current deployment of enterprise WLANs, channel switching mechanism continues to exhibit inefficiencies because it cannot adapt to real-time channel condition and the inability to support seamless channel switching. Software Defined Networking (SDN) as an emerging architecture is promising to introduce flexibility and programmability for wireless network management. Leveraging SDN to existing enterprise WLANs, channel switching method can be improved significantly. This paper presents a software-defined enterprise WLAN framework with a load aware automatic channel switching solution, which utilizes AP load and channel interference factor (CIF) to provide seamless channel switching. Two automatic channel switching algorithms named Single Switch (SS) and Double Switch (DS) are proposed to improve the overall user experience and the experience of users with highest traffic load respectively. Experiment results demonstrate that our solution can efficiently improve user experience in terms of jitter, transmission delay and network throughout when compared to the conventional channel switching mechanism.

This study examines consumers' multi-channel choices in the search phase and purchasing phase stage according to price sensitivity and product characteristics in order to propose a multichannel strategy. For the research, one-way ANOVA, t-test, clustering analysis, and crosstabs are used for the descriptive analysis of 317 surveys on men and women conducted in 2014. The findings are as follows. First, consumers that both experience goods and search goods rely on surrounding advice as well as a search channel regardless of price sensitivity. Second, channel selection differs by price sensitivity when it comes to purchasing phase. Consumers with high price sensitivity tend to purchase from online channels; however, consumers with low price sensitivity tend to purchase from off line channels in cases of search goods. Meanwhile, cases of experience goods have no meaningful result. Third, consumers are divided into 3 groups by the tendency of channel selection. In case of experience goods, search channel choice is aligned with purchasing channel; however, search channel choice is not aligned with purchasing channel in search goods. This study provides clear information on fashion consumers' behavior on multi-channel choices compared to ones for search goods consumers on strategic strategies for fashion companies.

The omni-channel customer system is the communication system between enterprise and customer via multiple channels such as mail, email, SMS, and mobile. The omni-channel customer system complements each other channel through the integration of each channel. The purpose of this research is to derive key factors and calculate the weights that a financial enterprise considers when adopting the omni-channel customer system. For this research, we analyzed the request for proposal documents used for the omni-channel customer system implementation projects in the financial enterprise. Also, we derived, classified, and stratified the key factors to be considered for the introduction of the omni-channel customer system in the financial enterprise. As a result of analyzing the key factors, customer experience, operations, and security were identified as the components of the top category in introducing the omni-channel customer system in the financial sector. Furthermore, the weight for each key factor was calculated by using ANP. As a result of ANP, operations, customer experience, and security were important in order. Also, the degree of easiness for connecting with other systems and the various abilities for representing the contents of the omni-channels were derived as the important key factors.
This research explores the consumers' experience in retailing channel(offline channel and online channel) using the critical incident technique. This research aims to clarify the common incidents within retailing channels which implies decisive factors over the channels, and to clarify the contrasts between channels to compare advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, the research is designed to collect the consumers' narrative of those who have used both channels in 3 months. Classifications are conducted with other researchers majoring consumer science. The results address how impressive experiences are constructed on each channel in three dimensions: product, information search, and the purchase-service dimension. These results are able to provide implications for offline and online retailers and directions for future research.
