스케일링 건강보험 급여화 사업에 대한 인식 및 구강건강관리 관심도 변화 (Recognition of the national health insurance for dental scaling and change in oral health care interest)

  • Objectives: To provide necessary information for stable establishment of the national dental scaling reimbursement system. Methods: This study was conducted in 380 adults in their twenties or older for about one month from July 2017. The questionnaires were composed of general characteristics, recognition (awareness) of dental scaling, knowledge of the dental scaling reimbursement program, changes in perception before versus after introduction of the dental scaling reimbursement program, and interest in oral health. To investigate into any factors affecting changes of interest in oral health care after introduction of the dental scaling reimbursement program, a multiple regression analysis was performed. Results: The investigation into any factors affecting changes of interest in oral health care after introduction of the dental scaling reimbursement program showed that higher usual interest in oral health (p<0.001) and the consideration that the dental scaling charges have been affordable after introduction of the scaling reimbursement program (p<0.01) led to more changes in interest in oral health care. Conclusions: The above-mentioned results suggest that the dental scaling reimbursement program has brought favorable changes in the perception of dental scaling. It is expected that the said program will contribute significantly to the improved national oral health, and the Government should make constant efforts to develop it as a long-term policy for oral health improvement.

코로나19 전후 청소년의 식생활에 대한 관심과 인식 변화 연구 (A Study on Changes in Interest and Awareness of Adolescents' Dietary Habits Before and After COVID-19)

  • 본 연구는 네이버, 다음, 구글, 유튜브와 트위터 등을 대상으로 코로나19 국내 확진자 발생이 공식 발표된 2020년 1월 19일 기준으로 전후 2년씩, 총 4년 동안 텍스톰(TEXTOM)을 사용하여 청소년의 식생활에 대한 관심과 인식의 변화를 분석하여 향후 가정 교과의 식생활 관련 단원에서 올바른 식생활 교육을 할 수 있도록 식생활 교육 프로그램을 개발할 수 있는 계기를 만들고자 하였으며, 본 연구를 통해 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 코로나19 이전 가장 동시 출현 빈도가 높은 키워드는 '영양'과 '상담'이었고, 다음 키워드는 '영양'과 '교육'으로 나타났다. 코로나19 이후 가장 동시 출현 빈도가 높은 키워드는 '영양'과 '교육'이었고, 다음 키워드는 '식품'과 '안전'이었다. 둘째, 동시 출현 빈도 네트워크 분석 결과 코로나19와 상관없이 영양과 상담에 대해 높은 관심을 가지고 있었고 코로나19 이후에는 안전과 건강에 대한 관심이 더 증가함을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, CONCOR 분석을 통한 군집 형성으로 코로나19 이전에는 '식사 및 신체활동', '피부 및 질병', '건강 및 음식', '영양 및 섭취'로 범주화하였고 코로나19 이후에는 '영양, 섭취 및 코로나19', '식사 및 신체활동', '피부 및 질병', '생체리듬 불균형 및 질병'으로 범주화하였다. 넷째, 코로나19 전후 청소년의 식생활 관련 키워드 군집 분석 네트워크 결과 코로나19 이전에는 '식사 및 신체 활동' 그룹의 키워드들은 '건강 및 음식'과 '영양 및 섭취' 그룹의 키워드들과 강하게 연결되어 있었고, 코로나19 이후에는 '식사 및 신체활동' 그룹의 키워드들은 '영양, 섭취 및 코로나19' 그룹의 키워드들과 강하게 연결되어 있었다.

The Effect of Changes of Learning Systems on Learning Outcomes in COVID-19 Pandemic Conditions

  • This study aims to determine the effect of changes in learning systems and its effects on students' learning outcomes amid the Covid-19 pandemic. The sample of this study are the students who are in Jakarta, Indonesia. "Non-probability random sampling" technique has been used to select the samples while the sampling method used is "purposive sampling", where criteria are used to select samples. The samples in this study are 200 people taken randomly using Google Form. Concentration ability and learning interest can affect learning outcomes with the mediation of learning comfort and a good learning environment. As well as physical distancing can moderate the effect of concentration ability and learning interest on learning outcomes. The ability to concentrate on improving learning outcomes requires psychomotor improvement. Whereas interest in learning with indicators of learning awareness can improve learning outcomes. A clean environment is a strength in the learning comfort and the community environment can be recommended in the learning environment. The implementation of the restriction of gathering becomes an important point of physical distancing. The other novelties are the learning comfort and the learning environment as mediating variables and physical distancing as moderating variables in one study at a time.

An Exploratory Study on Issues Related to chatGPT and Generative AI through News Big Data Analysis

  • In this study, we explore social awareness, interest, and acceptance of generative AI, including chatGPT, which has revolutionized web search, 30 years after web search was released. For this purpose, we performed a machine learning-based topic modeling analysis based on Korean news big data collected from November 30, 2022, when chatGPT was released, to August 31, 2023. As a result of our research, we have identified seven topics related to chatGPT and generative AI; (1)growth of the high-performance hardware market, (2)service contents using generative AI, (3)technology development competition, (4)human resource development, (5)instructions for use, (6)revitalizing the domestic ecosystem, (7)expectations and concerns. We also explored monthly frequency changes in topics to explore social interest related to chatGPT and Generative AI. Based on our exploration results, we discussed the high social interest and issues regarding generative AI. We expect that the results of this study can be used as a precursor to research that analyzes and predicts the diffusion of innovation in generative AI.

한의사의 근거중심의학에 대한 인식 및 태도 - 침구요법을 중심으로 (Traditional Korean Medicine Practitioners' Awareness and Attitudes toward Evidence Based Medicine)

  • Objectives : The aim of this study is to estimate traditional Korean medicine (TKM) practitioners' awareness and attitudes about acupuncture clinical study toward evidence based medicine (EBM). Methods : We conducted two surveys before and after the workshop. First survey, about the awareness and attitudes toward EBM was carried out with questionnaire. Second survey, about their changes in the attitudes toward EBM after the workshop was carried out with on-line questionnaire. Results : 70.0 % of respondents shows interest in the trends of clinical research. In contrast, 26.0 % of respondents used to search papers by themselves. 30.3 % of respondents reported that they apply the result of researches to their practice. 41.0 % of respondents thought that case study is needed for their practice, whereas 29.5 % responded that randomized controlled trial is most important. In the second survey, the attitudes toward EBM were changes positive. fair number of respondents usually get information from data regardless of EBM for their practice, but 23.5 % of respondents refer to the journals. Conclusions : The awareness and needs for education on the attendees toward EBM is quite high, and the effect of education is possibly influential. We expect the improvement on the refresher and the extension of education course for practitioners, and undergraduate curriculum.

일부 치위생과 학생의 수업방법에 따른 수업인식과 진로인식 변화에 관한 연구: 치면세마 수업을 중심으로 (A Study on the Changes in Class Awareness and Career Awareness According to the Teaching Methods of Some Dental Hygiene and Students: Focusing on the professional tooth cleaning class)

  • 본 연구는 강원도 일부 지역의 치위생과 학생들을 대상으로 수업방법에 따른 수업 인식과 진로 인식의 변화를 살펴보기 위한 연구이다. 동일한 설문지를 사용하여, 2019년 12월에 대면 수업 후 1차 설문을 진행하였고, 2020년 7월에 비대면 수업 후 2차 설문을 진행하였다. 통계분석은 SPSS 24.0을 사용하였으며 결과는 다음과 같다. 학년에 따른 수업 인식과 진로 인식에 차이를 보였고, 학교생활 만족도와 치면세마 수업 만족도에 따라 진로 관심과 진로 호기심, 진로 자신감 차이를 보였다. 비대면 수업의 경우 인터넷을 통한 진로 결정의 비중이 높아졌으며, 진로 자신감도 상승하였다. 이 결과들은 실기과목 수업 운영에 있어 융복합적 측면을 고려한 플립러닝 수업과 같은 방법의 활용과 실기시험을 위한 표준화된 실기 동영상 제작에 필요한 기초자료로 제공될 수 있을 것이다.

Effects of Local History Trekking Education on Social Development and Historical Consciousness of College Students

  • This study aims to develop the education for college students who should perform the social role of the fut ure by conducting trekking activities including the characteristics, history, and culture of Cheonan area and then investigating the sociality and history of 36 college students. Taejosan, Seonggeosan, and Heukseongsan, which are part of the independent ring of Cheonan city, were selected as courses. The training was conducted by six instructors majoring in humanities, history, physical education and medicine. Teachers of humanities and history majors conducted theoretical lectures to raise the historical awareness of Cheonan area related to trekking course. In trekking practice, instructors of physical education and medicine majored in trekking safety education and course progress. Among the social development factors, responsibility, autonomy, and sociality were high. After the education, students recognized that the interest and necessity of history were high in order to understand the present society, thought that they made a lot of development compared to the previous one, and answered that the main development factors of history were the people and that there was a change in perception through this education. This study was composed of the survey after the education, so the psychological characteristics of the individual were not reflected, and it is difficult to generalize it because the number of subjects is small. In the future, more subjects need to be investigated and local residents need to investigate changes in local awareness.

미세먼지 농도 및 대중의 인식도가 천식질환 발생빈도에 미치는 영향 분석 (The Impact of Particulate Matter and Public Awareness on the Incidence of Asthma)

  • This study investigates the influence of particulate matter concentrations on the incidence of asthma, focusing on the delayed onset of symptoms and subsequent medical consultations. Analysis incorporates a four-day lag from the initiation of fine dust exposure and compares asthma patterns before and after the World Health Organization's (WHO) classification of fine dust as a Group 1 carcinogen in November 2013. Utilizing daily PM10 data and asthma-related medical visit counts in Seoul from 2008 to 2016, the study additionally incorporates Google search frequencies and newspaper article counts on fine dust to assess public awareness. Results reveal a surge in search frequencies and article publications after WHO announcement, indicating heightened public interest. To standardize the long-term asthma occurrence trend, the daily asthma patient numbers are ratio-adjusted based on annual averages. The analysis uncovers an increase in asthma medical visits 2 to 3 days after fine dust events. Additionally, greater public awareness of fine dust hazards correlates with a significant reduction in asthma occurrence after such events, even within 'normal' fine dust concentrations. Notably, behavioral changes, like limiting outdoor activities, contribute to this decrease. This study highlights the importance of analyzing accumulated medical data over an extended period to identify general public behavioral patterns, deviating from conventional survey methods in social sciences. Future research aims to extend data collection beyond 2016, exploring recent trends and considering the potential impact of decreased fine dust awareness amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

유아 대상 활동북과 동영상 중심의 채소 편식 개선 교육자료 개발과 평가 (Development and Evaluation of Booklets and Video Clips to Prevent Children from Developing Picky Eating)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to develop and evaluate booklets and video clips to prevent children from picky eating. Methods: Based on a survey conducted on food preferences of preschool children aged 2 to 5 years, 14 kinds of less preferred vegetables were selected. Accordingly, educational videos, activity books, and teaching-learning guides were produced for preschool children using the 'food bridge' theory, and the educational materials were named "Friendly vegetables". Educational materials were distributed to childcare institutions, and their effectiveness was investigated for preschool children who were instructed on these materials once every 30 days from March to November, 2019. The children were examined for changes in their knowledge of names, colors, taste/texture, methods of cultivation, and preferences for vegetables before and after the instructional course. Results: The awareness of vegetables increased significantly in younger children and the picky eating group. When the assessment was carried out in terms of vegetable knowledge, it was observed that the younger the age or the pickier the in eating food, the more effective the education is compared to the counter part. The preference for vegetables also increased after the instruction compared to the pre-instruction period, but significant changes were seen only in the 2~3 year age group for boys and girls. Also, only the picky group of girls showed changes in preference. The children's average interest in the education materials was 3.85 points out of 5 points. Conclusions: Through this study, we have developed educational materials for standalone use in childcare facilities and confirmed that they have a significant effect on improving awareness and preferences related to vegetables. In summary, the younger the age or the pickier the child in eating food, the more effective the education. It is believed that additional education on mealtime guidance is needed which can alter the eating behavior of preschool children and improve their diet. It is proposed to widen the scope of use of the materials by collecting diverse opinions from child care teachers.

감즙염색을 이용한 학습자료와 교수-학습과정안 개발 및 적용이 전통 의생활문화 교육에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Development and Application of Teaching-Learning Materials and Plan using Persimmon juice Dyeing on the Traditional Clothing Life-Culture Education)

  • 본 연구에서는 전통 의생활문화에 대한 인식을 고취시키고자 우리나라의 대표적 전통 천연염색 중 하나인 감즙염색을 이용한 학습자료를 제작하고 전통 의생활문화 체험이 가능한 교수-학습과정안을 개발하였다. 연구방법에 있어서 교육적 효과를 조사하기 위해서는 설문지를 작성하였고, 수업 실시 전과 후의 교육적 효과를 검증하기 위해서는 t-test, Kruscal-Wallis 검정 및 상관분석을 행하였다. 이를 고등학교 기술 가정과에 '감즙염색 직물을 이용한 생활소품 만들기' 주제로 수업에 적용하여 전통 이미지에 대한 인식의 변화와 학습에 대한 흥미도 및 태도 변화를 검토한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 감즙염색에 관해 연구해온 축적물로 독창적인 학습자료를 개발하여 감즙염색과 전통 의생활문화를 이해하기 위한 협동학습을 실시한 결과, 현대 감각을 살린 아이디어 소품이 창출되었다. 둘째, '청소년의 전통 의생활문화와 교육에 대한 인식'에 있어, 수업 전과 후의 차이를 나타내어 수업 후에 인식의 향상을 보였다. 나아가 조사대상을 상/중/하위 그룹으로 분류하여 분석한 결과, 긍정적인 변화에 있어서도 그룹 간 차이를 보였는데, 사전 점수가 가장 낮았던 하위 그룹에서 가장 높은 향상을 나타내었다. 셋째, '감즙염색 직물을 이용한 생활소품 만들기' 수업의 효과를 분석한 결과, 모든 문항에서 '보통' 이상으로 나타나, 학생들은 감즙염색 직물로 생활소품 만들기 체험을 통하여 전통 의생활문화에 대한 관심과 흥미도가 높아졌고 태도가 긍정적으로 변화하였음이 확인되었다. 넷째, 전통 의생활문화 인식과 그 교육에 대한 인식 간에는 문화에 대한 인식이 높은 학습자일수록 그 교육에 대한 인식도 높아 정적인 상관이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이상과 같이 개발된 학습자료와 교수-학습과정안을 통한 전통 의생활문화 수업은 전통적인 천연염색과 의생활문화에 대한 가치와 의미를 이해하는 인식에서 향상된 변화를 가져왔고, 아이디어를 창출하는 교육적 효과를 가져왔다. 전통 의생활 문화 교육은 지속적이고 다면적인 심화된 연구와 현장교육의 상호작용이 이루어질 때 교육적 시너지효과가 더 발현될 것이다.
