Characterization of Ag Nanowire Transparent Electrode Fabricated on PVDF Film (PVDF 필름 위에 제작된 고전도도 Ag 나노와이어 투명전극 특성 연구)

  • In this study, we have successfully fabricated a highly conductive transparent electrode using Ag nanowires, based on piezoelectric polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) film, that can be applied as transparent and flexible speakers. The structural morphology of the Ag nanowires was confirmed by a detailed scanning electron microscopy. Ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy demonstrated that the transparent electrode fabricated by the Ag nanowires exhibited a transmittance of above 70%. The transparent electrode also showed very low sheet resistance with high flexibility. We have further developed an anti-oxidation coating layer by using a tetraethyl orthosilicate-poly trimethyloxyphenylsilane (TEOS-PTMS) slurry technique. It was confirmed that the transmittance and sheet resistance of the antioxidant film depends critically on the humidity of the film surface. We believe such Ag nanowire electrodes are a very promising next-generation transparent electrode technology that can be used in future flexible and transparent devices.

  • The purpose of this paper is the development of measurement algorithm for green-sheet based on the digital image processing technique. The Low Temperature Cofired Ceramic (LTCC) technology can be defined as a way to produce multilayer circuits with the help of single tapes, which are used to apply conductive, dielectric and / or resistive pastes on. These single green-sheets have to be laminated together and fired in one step all. Main functionality of the green-sheet film measurement algorithm is to measure the position and size of the punching hole in each single layer. The line scan camera coupled with motorized X-Y stage is used for developing the algorithm. In order to measure the entire film area using several scanning steps, the overlapping method is used. In the process of development of the algorithm based on the image processing and analysis, strong background technology and know-how have been accumulated.

  • Thermal properties of layered metal chalcogenides such as $WT_2$ (T=S,Se) with two-dimensionally disordered structure were evaluated. Thermal conductivity shows a marked decrease after exfoliation and subsequent restacking because of random stacking of two-dimensional crystalline sheet, which circumvents thermal conduction pathways along longitudinal direction in anisotropic materials.

  • High performance packages must provide excellent transmission characteristics. In face-up ceramic packages, however, parasitic characteristics of bondwires are not negligible at millimeter-wave frequencies. Consequently, the electrical performance of ceramic packages is degraded. In をis paper, we propose a new millimeter-wave ceramic package feed-through having Embedded Metal Sheets (EMS). The package that contains double-bondwire interconnections is analyzed by the FEM (Finite Element Method) and measured from 20 to 50GHz. As a result, the proposed package having Embedded Metal Sheets (EMS) achieved 0.85dB, 0.4dB insertion loss improvement on the conventional and the double bondwires buried in epoxy ( $\varepsilon_{{\gamma}}$/ = 4) ceramic package respectively to 47GHz. This improved ceramic package will be useful for MMICs modules and small ceramic packages developments.amic packages developments.

  • Co-firing incompatibility between the low temperature sinterable Glass/ceramic and Ag-thick film was studied. The dielectric material, which has been developed for microwave frequency applications, consists of $SiO_2-TiO_2-Bi_2O_3$-$Bi_2O_3$-RO system(RO:BaO -CaO-SrO) crystallizable glass and $Al_2O_3$as a ceramic filler. The large camber in the sintered specimen and cracks at the Ag-film under the influence of the camber occurred due to the difference of densification rate between the ceramic sheet and the Ag-film $B_2O_3$addition to the Glass/ceramic mixture reduced the severe camber. The cambers decreased with increasing the $B_2O_3$ content, and completely disappeared with 14 vol% $B_2O_3$addition. With additions of $B_2O_3$, $\varepsilon_{r}$ decreased abruptly, Q$\times$f value increased largely and the $\tau_f$ value of the material quickly shifted to positive one.

  • Ferrite/Varistor 이종재료 동시소성에서 소성 시 두 재료간의 서로 다른 수축률에 의한 휠 거동을 ferrite 하소온도와 sheet 제조 시 binder 함량에 따라 제어하였다. Ferrite의 하소온도를 $750^{\circ}C{\sim}900^{\circ}C$로 변화시켰을 때 하소온도가 $900^{\circ}C$ 일 때 수축률이 varistor의 수축률과 악 1%미만의 차이로 가장 유사하였다. $900^{\circ}C$에서 하소한 ferrite의 slurry 제조 시 binder의 함량을 40wt%~50wt%로 변화시키면서 sheet를 제조하여 varistor와 적층하여 $900^{\circ}C{\sim}1000^{\circ}C$에서 소결하였다. Binder 함량이 40wt%에 ferrite와 varistor를 교대로 적층된 시편에서 동시소성 시 휨을 제거할 수 있었다.

  • The Ru-based thick film resistor(TFR) for sintering at 90$0^{\circ}C$ was synthesized to prepare the LCR net-work. These compositions of pyrochlore could be prepared by decreasing the amount of PbO and increasing alumina and silica contents of glass frit. In this study, the sheet resistances of the TFTs. which sint-ered at 90$0^{\circ}C$ after printing on alumina substrate, the sheet resistances of the TFRs on inductor and capa-citor substrate and the interphase between TFR and substrate were observed. And the changes of the sheet resistance were obtained with the contents of RuO2. In case of the TFR sintered at 90$0^{\circ}C$, the sheet resis-tances on alumina substrates were in the range of 103~106$\Omega$/$\square$, but the sheet resistances of TFR on in-ductor and capacitor substrate were not obtained.

  • In this paper, we manufactured silsesquiaznae (SSQZ)-coated carbon nanotube (CNT) surface heating elements, which allowed stable heating at high temperatures. The prepared composite sheet was confirmed by FE-SEM that the SSQZ fully coated the surface of CNT sheet. Furthermore, it was also confirmed that the silicon carbonitride (SiCN) ceramic formed by heat treatment of 800℃ have no defects found and maintain intact structure. The CNT/SiCN composite sheet was able to achieve higher thermal stability than raw CNT sheets in both nitrogen and air atmosphere. Finally, the CNT/SiCN composite sheet was possible to heat up at a temperature of over 700℃ in the atmosphere, and the re-heating was successfully operated after cooling.
