PLC기반 차체조립라인의 안전감시를 위한 진단프로그램 생성에 관한 연구 (Auto-Generation of Diagnosis Program of PLC-based Automobile Body Assembly Line for Safety Monitoring)

  • In an automated industry PLC plays a central role to control the manufacturing system. Therefore, fault free operation of PLC controlled manufacturing system is essential in order to maximize a firm's productivity. On the contrary, distributed nature of manufacturing system and growing complexity of the PLC programs presented a challenging task of designing a rapid fault finding system for an uninterrupted process operation. Hence, designing an intelligent monitoring, and diagnosis system is needed for smooth functioning of the operation process. In this paper, we propose a method to continuously acquire a stream of PLC signal data from the normal operational PLC-based manufacturing system and to generate diagnosis model from the observed PLC signal data. Consequently, the generated diagnosis model is used for distinguish the possible abnormalities of manufacturing system. To verify the proposed method, we provided a suitable case study of an assembly line.

개인고속이동(Personal Rapid Transit) 시스템의 운전시격에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Headway of the Personal Rapid Transit System)

  • We deal with the headway which effects on the performance of the PRT(Personal Rapid Transit) system and the system safety. The headway, time between passage of one vehicle and the next, is one of the important factors to assess the line capacity, which has a cue to solve the problem of the congestion in public transportation. To decide the headway there are many important factors, especially such as the failure vehicle deceleration rate, the following simple analytical equation can be made to assess the relation between the line speed and the minimum headway. In this paper we employ a numerical analysis method using a simple analytical equations for the evaluation of the minimum headway and show simple simulation results.

  • The real time optimal control algorithm of the DDC controller for chilled water and supply air temperature set-point of heating, ventilating, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems has been researched for minimization of the total power which is consumed by the chiller, chilled water pump and air handing unit fan. The study has been done by using TRNSYS program in order to analyze the central cooling system in terms of the environmental variables such as indoor cooling lead and wet-bulb temperature. This optimal control alogorithm saves more energy and is suitable for real time on-line control in comparison with conventional method.

  • The two major symptoms characterizing Alzheimer's disease are the formation of amyloid-${\beta}$ extracellular deposits in the form of senile plaques and intracellular neurofibrillary tangles (NFTs) that consist of pathological hyperphosphorylated tau protein aggregated into insoluble paired helical filaments (PHFs). Neurons of the central nervous system have appreciable amounts of tau protein, a microtubule-associated protein. To maintain an optimal operation of nerves, the microtubules are stabilized, which is necessary to support cell structure and cellular processes. When the modified tau protein becomes dysfunctional, the cells containing misfolded tau cannot maintain cell structure. One of the pathological hallmarks of Alzheimer's disease is hyperphosphorylated tau protein. This paper shows that the small heat shock protein from humans (Hsp27) reduces hyperphosphorylated tau and prevents hyperphosphorylated tau-induced cell death of the human neuroblastoma cell line SH-SY5Y.

High Resolution Linear Graphs : Graphical Aids for Designing Off-Line Process Control)

  • Designing high quality products and processes at a low cost is central technological and economic challenge to the engineer. The combination of engineering concepts and statistical implementations offered by Taguchi\`s off-line design technique has proven t be invaluable. By examining some deficiencies in designs from the Taguchi\`s highly fractional, orthogonal main effect plan based on orthogonal arrays, alternative method is proposed. The maximum resolution or the minimum aberration criterion is commonly used for selecting 2$^{n-m}$ fractional designs. We present new high resolution (low aberration) linear graphs to simplify the complexity of selecting designs with desirable statistical properties. The new linear graphs approach shows a substantial improvement over Taguchi\`s linear graphs and other related graphical methods for planning experiment. The new set of linear graphs will allow the experimenter to maintain the simple approach suggested by Taguchi while obtaining the best statistical properties of the resulting design such as minimum aberration as a by-product without dependency on complicated computational algorithm or additional statistical training.g.

Multi Area Economic Dispatch using Secant Method

  • In this paper, Secant method is proposed to solve multi area economic dispatch (MAED) problem. Generator limits of all generators in each area are calculated at given area power demands plus export (or import) using secant method and the generator limits of all generators are modified as modified generator limits. Central economic dispatch (CED) problem is used to determine the output powers of all generators. Here, Secant method is applied to solve the CED problem. The proposed approach has been tested on two-area (two generators in each area) system and four-area (four generators in each area) system. It is observed from various cases that the proposed approach provides optimally best solution in terms of cost with tie line loss with less computational burden.

  • 컴퓨터 사용의 역사를 보면 인터페이스 메타포는 사람들이 컴퓨터를 더 사용하기 쉽게 만드는데 쓰여왔다. 심지어 초기의 command line 인터페이스에서도 메타포를 사용해 왔었다. 사용자 인터페이스에 있어서 메타포는 사용자들을 시스템에 접근하기 쉽게 만드는 것을 도울 뿐 아니라 사용자들과 시스템과의 연결 통로라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 사용자 인터페이스에 있어서 성공적인 메타포 구축을 위해 conceptual model을 고려하여 Gestalt 원리를 활용한 지침을 제시함으로써 도움을 주고자 한다.

Two Geometrid Species, Mixochlora argentifusa and Scopula tsushimana (Lepidoptera: Geometridae), New to Korea

  • Two geometrid species, Mixochlora argentifusa (Walker, 1861) and Scopula tsushimana Kaneko, 2018, were newly recorded from Korea. Mixochlora argentifusa, a species of Geometrinae, is characterized by dark greenish, inverse triangular central fascia with a large lunular discal dot and a thick subterminal line of the falcate forewing and band-shaped medial and subterminal lines of the hindwing. Scopula tsushimana, a species of Sterrhinae, is characterized by dark blackish, slanted, dentate ante- and postmedial, and subterminal lines with a black, minute discal dot of the forewing and a relatively thick, blackish antemedial line and strongly undulating postmedial and subterminal lines of the hindwing. We provide diagnosis, description of adults and immatures, if available, and illustrations of the adults, and male and female genitalia.

미완성된 근첨을 가진 영구치 치근 파절의 치유에 관한 증례 (TRAUMATIC ROOT FRACTURE IN YOUNG PERMANENT TEETH : A CASE REPORT)

  • 7세 남아가 맹출 중인 상악 영구 중절치의 외상을 주소로 내원하였다. 환아의 우측 중절치는 아탈구와 치근 파절을 보였고, 좌측 중절치는 함입성 탈구와 치근 파절을 보였다. 두 치아는 정복 후 선부자에 의해 고정하였다. 이후 주기적인 검진을 시행하였다. 4년이 지난 현재, 우측 중절치는 방사선 사진에서 파절편 사이에 방사선 투과성이 보이지 않고 정상적인 치조백선을 보여 경조직으로 치유되는 양상을 보였다. 좌측 중절치는 파절편이 분리되어있고 근관이 점차 폐쇄되는 소견을 보이고 있어 골과 결합조직의 개입에 의한 치유 양상을 보이고 있다. 임상 검사에서 정상적인 동요도와 타진 반응을 보였고, 전기치수검사에 양성 반응을 보였다. 외상을 받은 치아의 예후는 외상의 유형, 환자의 연령, 치근의 발육단계, 변위의 정도 등에 의해 영향을 받는다. 본 증례는 개방근관을 가진 치아가 외상 후 우측 중절치는 석회화 조직으로 치유, 좌측 중절치는 골과 결합조직의 개입으로 치유되고 있는 양상을 보이고 있어 이를 보고하는 바이다.

MRI Artifacts

  • MRI의 artifact는 대부분 신호의 부호화 방향에 따라서 방향성을 가지는데, 이를 요약해보면, 위상부호화 방향의 artifact에는 motion artifact, flow artifact, RF noise등이 있고, 주파수 부호화 방향의 artfact는 susceptibility artfact, chemical shift artifact, central line artifact등이 있으며, 양방향 모두 생길수 있는 것은 Aliasing artifact와 Gibb's phenomenon이고, 전체적으로 영샹의 질을 떨어뜨리는 것은 susceptibility artifact, Eddy current, cross talk등이 있다. 이런 artifact는 대부분은 MRI 자체의 물리적 특성에 다소간 기인하므로, artifact가 없는 양호한 영상을 얻기 위해서는 MRI의 설치 단계부터 관심이 필요하고, MRI의 기본원리와 다양한 artifact에 대해 이해함으로써, 제거 가능한 artifact는 제거하여 양질의 영상을 만들고 판독시의 오류를 피할 수 있도록 해야할 것이다.
