In this paper, we consider two-components system which the lifetimes have a bivariate Weibull distribution with bivariate random censored data. Here the bivariate censoring times are independent of the lifetimes of the components. We obtain estimators and approximated confidence intervals for the reliability of series system based on likelihood function and relative frequency, respectively. Also we present a numerical study.

A Bayes estimator of the survival distribution function due to Susarla and Van Ryzin(1976) is used to estimate the mth moment of a survival time on the basis of censored observations in a random censorship model. Asymptotic normality of the estimator is proved using the functional version of the delta method.

A different approach to the evaluation of mean residual life function under the random censorship model is presented. For small sample sizes, the performances between the proposed estimator and other estimators for men residual life function are compared in terms of bias and mean square error via a Monte Carlo study.

We propose a smoothing estimator of mean residual life function based on Ghorai and Susarla's (1990) smooth estimator of distribution function under random censorship model and provide the asymptotic properties of this estimator. The Monte Carlo simulation is performed to compare the proposed estimator with the other estimators and an exmple is also given using the real data.

근래 사드 미사일 배치 문제로 한중관계가 급격히 냉각되면서, 많은 한중합작영화와 엔터테인먼트 사업들의 기획과 제작이 무산되었다. 설상가상으로 중국내에서는 그간 합작영화의 결과를 통한 '한중합작 무용론' 까지 제기되고 있다. 필자는 그간의 한중합작영화들의 많은 실패 원인이 중국영화계에 대한 한국영화인들의 이해와 경험의 부족이라고 판단하였다. 이에, 필자는 본 지면을 통해 중국영화사를 개괄하여 현재 중국영화계의 특성이 형성된 원인을 밝히고, 여타의 장르보다 더욱 까다로운 검열을 거쳐야하는 범죄스릴러 장르인, 한국영화 <블라인드>를 라메이크한 <나는 증인이다>의 경우를 통해 중국영화계의 검열방식과 실제 적용된 사례를 소개하여, 중국영화계의 현주소를 파악하는데 도움이 되고자 한다. 또한 앞으로의 한중합작영화를 준비하고자하는 한국영화인들에게 드리는 제언과 함께, 한중합작 영화산업의 발전을 위한 필자의 의견을 간략하게 피력하고자 한다.

2002년 6월 27일 '불온통신' 규제 제도가 헌법재판소에 의해 위헌으로 결정되었다. 그러나 '불온통신' 규제가 용어상으로는 사라졌다 해도 '불온'에 대한 규제가 사라진 것은 아니다. '불온'은 '안보'와 '풍속 통제'의 목적으로 활용되어온, 한국 근현대사를 꿰뚫는 개념으로 볼 수 있다. 일제 강점기 시기에 마련된 검열 제도를 비롯하여 미군정기, 박정희 정권의 유신 집권기 등을 거쳐 민주화 이후 보수 정권의 집권이 이어진 지난 몇 년간 '불온'의 의미는 집권 세력에 의해 적극적으로 규정, 활용되면서 다양한 지점에서 증폭, 변형되어 왔다. 이 연구는 북한 관련 게시글이나 북한 트위터 계정을 리트윗하는 등의 행위로 "국가보안법" 위반 혐의로 구속 기소되어 재판까지 받은 박정근 사건에 대한 판결문 및 신문 기사를 통해 '불온'과 관련하여 뉴미디어인 트위터의 매체적 특성이 어떻게 규정되어 가는지, 종북 담론과 정부 비판적 활동, 사회 참여 활동 등과의 연관성 속에서 박정근이 어떻게 '불온한 존재'로 규정되어 가는지를 살펴보았다. 이를 통해 뉴미디어 시대에 '불온'이 어떻게 규정되어가며, 한국의 근현대사 속에서 '불온의 계보학'을 어떻게 구성할 수 있을지를 모색해보고자 했다.

본 논문은 1970년대의 명랑만화인 <꺼벙이>, <도깨비감투>, <요철발명왕>에 대한 담론분석이다. 분석을 위해 한국 명랑만화의 역사와 함께 당시의 심의제도와 유통구조를 고찰하였다. 또한 1920년대부터 다양한 의미로 사용되었던 '명랑'이라는 용어에 대한 개념과 의미의 변화 과정에도 주목하였다. 이를 통해 명랑만화는 단순히 웃음을 유발하는 텍스트가 아니며, 당대의 정치, 사회적 맥락과 깊이 연관되어 있음을 알 수 있었다. 분석방법은 푸코의 담론분석방법을 사용하였다. 1970년대의 명랑만화를 당시의 사회적 제도에 의해 형성된 담론이라 가정하고, 만화 내 등장인물들의 대화를 언표로 규정하여 분석하였다. 만화의 대화분석을 통해 당시의 명랑만화가 전파하는 담론과 그것을 만들어내는 사회적인 조건에 대한 분석을 실시하였다. 이런 과정을 통해 당시의 명랑만화는 '서열화를 통한 자본과 권력의 획득', '국가주의적 요소의 강조', '능동적 주체로의 호명과 훈육'이라는 담론을 내포하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 아울러 이러한 담론은 심의와 통제 같은 당대의 권력의지를 바탕으로 나타나며, 이를 통해 지배 권력의 이데올로기를 정교하게 담아 내는 장치로 사용되고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

1970년대는 유신정권의 폭압적 규제와 검열 아래서 사실주의적 극작 기법은 한계가 드러날 수밖에 없었다. 이강백은 리얼리즘이 결여된 가상의 공간이나 비현실적인 인물을 설정하여 이중적 의미의 서사 구조인 알레고리 기법을 선택하게 된다. 이강백은 거대담론의 허상과 디아스포라적 인물, 그리고 '정치적무의식'의 보편성을 알레고리화 하여 1960년대의 역사 인식과도 연결시켜, 공시적이면서도 통시적인 역사 인식의 의미망을 형성한다. 이것은 유신정권이라는 폭압적 권력 체제를 우회하여 현실을 더욱 적나라하게 드러내는 기법이었으며, 표현의 자유와 권리를 억압당하는 작가 자신의 욕망, 그리고 거대담론에 억압당하는 디아스포라적 개인의 절망적인 상황 자체를 투영하는 기법이었다. 나아가 알레고리 극작 기법을 통해 인간의 자유와 해방에 대해 시대를 뛰어넘는 보편성과 상징성을 획득하려는 시도였다.

Libraries and information centers are no different from any other institutions in our society. Today, their managers have to make many more decisions which have certain legal implications than before. The ignorance of the law on their parts can not be an acceptable excuse anymore, since. the consequences sometimes maybe quite serious. This paper outlines some important legal issues involved in the services and management of libraries and information centers. They are: constitutional rights on human knowledge activities: library act and it's related laws; censorship and right to know; information access and the protection of privacy: library services and copyright law; labor relations; protections of the people and properties of the institutions, etc. The laws are not static: rather, they change with the social, political and technological environments. The managers, as well as the staff members of libraries and information centers should be constantly updated with the changes in the field, in order to give the maximum service to the clients and to prevent any infringement of the laws, which may discredit their services and the institutions.

생존자료의 분석에 있어 두 집단간의 생존분포의 비교는 자주 관심의 대상이 되고 있다. 중도절단(censoring)이 존재하는 생존자료에 있어 두 생존분포의 동일성을 검정하는 방법으로 log-rank 통계량과 Gehan의 일반화된 Wilcoxon 통계량에 근거한 검정법이 주로 사용되어 왔다. 그러나 이 두 가지 검정통계량이 어떤 상황에서나 적절한 것은 아니고, 두 생존분포의 여러가지 형태와 중도절단의 정도에 따라 통계량의 검정력은 크게 달라진다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 두 생존분포의 비교를 위해 제안된 몇 가지 검정통계량들을 여러가지 상황에서 모의실험을 통하여 비교하고, 그 결과를 토대호 주어진 상황에서 적절한 통계량을 선택하는데 대한 유용한 정보를 제공하였다.
