500MW 화력발전소 저압터빈 Hood 공진 특성에 관한 연구 (Study on vibration characteristics of low pressure turbine hood resonance in a 500MW thermal power plant)

  • In this research paper, we study on how to decrease the high vibration of turbine hood casings which are main facilities of power generation industry. Cause of Standard coal-fired power 500MW facilities turbine hoods' high vibration is that Natural frequency of hood casing designed in near domain frequency, when they are making hoods. We investigate to reduce high vibration at hood casing. We use FEM method to found how to avoid resonance, and test to confirm that our FEM result. We Finally attach minium mass plate at hood casing to avoid resonance and high vibration reduce lower $100{\mu}m$.

케이싱 오실레이터의 순기구학 해석 (Forward Kinematic Analysis of Casing Oscillator)

  • This paper presents the forward kinematics of the Casing Oscillator that is a construction machine. The Structure of the Casing Oscillator is similar to those of 4 degree-of-freedom mechanisms with a redundancy. With analytical (geometrical) methods, the solutions of the forward position kinematics problem are significantly found by both solving an 8$^{th}$ -order polynomial equation in one unknown variable and using one over-constraint geometrical equation which can be derived under the condition of a redundancy. The proposed forward kinematics has closed-form solutions and allows Auto-Balancing control of the moving platform in real time. Numerical examples are presented and the results are verified by an inverse kinematics analysis.

Integrated Expansion Analysis of Pipe-In-Pipe Systems

  • This paper presents an analytical method, application of expansion, mechanical design, and integrated expansion design of subsea insulated pipe-in-pipe (PIP) systems. PIP system consists of a flowline and a casing pipe for the transport of high temperature and high pressure product from the subsea wells. To prevent heat lass from the fiowline, insulation material is applied between the pipes. The fiawline pipe and the casing pipe have mechanical connections through steel ring plate (water stops) and bulkheads. Pipeline expansion is defined by temperature, internal pressure, soil resistance, and interaction force between the flowline and the casing pipe. The results of the expansion analysis, the mechanical design of connection system of the two pipes and tie-in spool design are integrated for the whole PIP system.

  • Pump casing has blockage effects on Impeller flow in a centrifugal pump such that the flow field around volute tongue has quite large change when the impeller rotates. A double suction pump is widely used in industrial world because it has lower NPSH required than a single suction pump. Thus, in this study, the interaction between impeller and volute casing has been investigated by using CFD for a double-suction centrifugal pump. Quasi-steady method and full pump model has been employed for the numerical calculation.

  • This paper describes performance characteristics of a centrifugal fan having a different volute casing. The centrifugal fan has a backward blade type, and is used in a refuse collecting system. The flow characteristics inside the components are analyzed by three-dimensional Navier-Stokes analysis, and also compared to the results by experiments. Distributions of pressure and efficiency obtained by numerical simulation has a good agreement with the experimental results. Throughout the numerical simulation of the centrifugal fan, a fan efficiency is increased by decreasing local losses in the blade passage. It is found that the fan efficiency is enhanced by decreasing the distance between the shroud of a impeller and casing. Detailed flow analysis is also analyzed and discussed using the results obtained by numerical simulation.

  • The size of TV and TFT-LCD are bigger and bigger for the next generation exposure equipment install that existing fab are getting a lot of additions. When the new fab build an extension that the shortening of the construction and non-vibration are use cast in place concrete pile method. In this study when lay the foundation of existing fab adjoin use vibration monitoring system are rotator type all casing method among cast in place concrete pile method. The evaluation of ground vibration of rotator type all casing method effect to precision equipment and vibration area of influence.

  • The vibration of a LP turbine casing may cause the problems of power generation and the life of its facility. In this study, we carried out on-site measurements of a LP Turbine in order to find the cause of the vibration and conducted experimental and numerical modal analysis of the turbine with its support frame. The measurement and the modal analysis show that the natural frequency of the turbine becomes close to 60 Hz due to the subsidence of the support. The elimination of the subsidence by shimming between the turbine and the support frame gave rise to the reduction of the vibration of the LP turbine case.

  • This paper presents the jacobian analysis of new type Casing Oscillator using the inverse kinematics, and to search for it's singularities through the jacobian analysis. All parallel manipulator have some singularities in workspace or it's outside workspace. Singularities were cleared by many other study of parallel manipulator f3r that reason recent publication of device control. In this paper defined that singularities of new file of Casing Oscillator and, to show it's graph. Finally this paper will be used for a practical example for construction spot, aviation simulator, vehicles simulator, military equipment etc.

  • Turbo fan as an air moving device is widely used for its silent characteristics and high efficiency relative to the other centrifugal multi blade impeller. In general, turbo fan is installed with a scroll casing for energy conversion from kinetic one to pressure energy. However, a turbo fan without scroll casing is considered as a present model that is proposed model for compact design of a product In detail, the model has only 4 cutoffs as guiders for 4 separated outlets. Specially, equal distribution of flow rate generated by the model blower is main interest in this investigation. The optimal position of the guider is found by reducing abnormal flows such as reverse flow in each outlet.

  • In this paper, we analyzed the characteristic of the broken section for bolts fastening the generator casing, and according to the frequency analysis, we grasped the characteristic of the excited force, traced the path of the exciting source so that we examined a factor of transient vibration of the generator casing. Even if it appears transient vibration again, we applied spring washer and more tensile bolt to the casing to minimize the fracture. By solving troubles of the generator rotor, we reduced the vibration amplitude to the normal condition. So we obtain much more the reliablility of the generator.
