In the GPS/DR integrated system, the GPS position(or velocity) is used to compensate the DR output and to calibrate errors of the DR sensor. This synergistic relationship ensures that the calibrated DR accuracy can be maintained even when the GPS signal is blocked. Because of the observability problem, however, the DR sensors are not sufficiently calibrated when the vehicle speed is low. This problem can be solved if we use a multi-antenna GPS receiver for attitude determination instead of conventional one. This paper designs a two-antenna GP receiver integrated with DR sensors. The proposed integration system has three remarkable features. First, the DR sensor can be calibrated regardless of the vehicle speed with the aid of two-antenna GPS receiver. Secondly, the search space of integer ambiguities in GPS carrier-phase measurements is reduced to a part of the surface of the sphere using DR heading. Thirdly, the detection resolution of cycle-slips in GPS carrier-phase measurements is improved with the aid of DR heading. From the experimental result, it is shown that the search space is drastically reduced to about 3/20 of the non-aided case and the cycle-slips of 1 or half cycle can be detected.

Many researches on the GNSS integer ambiguity resolution methods for precise positioning and attitude determination applications have been done. However, by the time invariant property of the integer ambiguity, the reuse of integer ambiguity without performing time consuming integer search procedure is possible. In this paper, a new efficient integer ambiguity propagation method is proposed. The initial integer ambiguity can be determined using the famous LAMBDA method and it is propagated with the propagation method. The proposed method can reconfigure the integer ambiguity using the previous epoch's integer ambiguity and new carrier phase measurements under environmental variations such as geometry changes, signal blockage and reacquisition. Experiments with real measurements show the proposed method can determine an integer ambiguity effectively.
This paper presents a new method for measuring the half-wave voltage $V_{\pi}$ of an electro-optic phase modulator based on a phase-modulated photonic link with interferometric demodulation. By using this method, the $V_{\pi}$ can be obtained with the RF voltage amplitude input required to achieve 1-dB gain compression of link and the differential delay of a Mach-Zehnder interferometer. We measure the $V_{\pi}$ of a commercial phase modulator by using the presented method and the carrier/the first sideband intensity ratio method. Furthermore, we compare the two measurements with the typical value provided by the manufacturer. The experiment shows that this novel measurement method is feasible, straightforward, and accurate.

The Centimeter Level Augmentation Service (CLAS) is the Precise Point Positioning (PPP) - Real Time Kinematic (RTK) correction service utilizing the Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZSS) L6 (1278.65 MHz) signal to broadcast the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) error corrections. Compact State-Space Representation (CSSR) corrections for mitigating GNSS measurement error sources such as satellite orbit, clock, code and phase biases, tropospheric error, ionospheric error are estimated from the ground segment of QZSS CLAS using the code and carrier-phase measurements collected in the Japan's GNSS Earth Observation Network (GEONET). Since the CLAS service begun on November 1, 2018, users with dedicated receivers can perform cm-level precise positioning using CSSR corrections. In this paper, CLAS-based VRS-RTK performance evaluation was performed using Global Positioning System (GPS) observables collected from the refence station, TSK2, located in Japan. As a result of performing GPS-only RTK positioning using the open-source software CLASLIB and RTKLIB, it took about 15 minutes to resolve the carrier-phase ambiguities, and the RTK fix rate was only about 41%. Also, the Root Mean Squares (RMS) values of position errors (fixed only) are about 4cm horizontally and 7 cm vertically.
The GPS positioning offer 3D position using code and carrier phase measurements, but the user can obtain the precise accuracy positioning using carrier phase in Real Time Kinematic(RTK). The main problem, which RTK have to overcome, is the necessary to have a reference station(RS) when using RTK should be generally no more than 10km on average, which is significantly different from DGPS, where distances to RS can exceed several hundred kilometers. The accuracy of today's RTK is limited by the distance dependent errors from orbit, ionosphere and troposphere as well as station dependent influences like multipath and antenna phase center variations. For these reasons, the author proposes Network based GPS Carrier Phase Differential Positioning using Multiple RS which is detached from user receiver about 30km. An important part of the proposed system is algorithm and software development, named DAUNet. The main process is corrections computation, corrections interpolation and searching for the integer ambiguity. Corrections computation of satellite by satellite and epoch by epoch at each reference station are calculated by a Functional model and Stochastic model based on a linear combination algorithm and corrections interpolation at user receiver are used by area correction parameters. As results, the users can obtain the cm-level positioning.

The present paper deals with precise relative positioning of formation satellites with long baseline in low Earth orbit making use of L1/L2 dual frequency GPS carrier phase measurements. Kinematic approach means to describe the motion of objects without taking its mass/dynamics model into consideration. The advantage of the kinematic approach is that information about dynamics of the system is not applied, which gives more flexibility and could improve the scientific interest of the observations made by the mission. The ionosphere terms, which are not canceled by double differenced measurement equation in the case of the long baseline, are explicitly estimated as unknown parameters by extended Kalman filter. The estimated float ambiguities by EKF are solved by existing efficient integer vector search strategy under integer least square condition. For the integer vector search, we employ well known MLAMBDA. Finally, The feasibility and accuracy of processing scheme are demonstrated using the GPS measurements for two satellites in low Earth orbit separated by baselines of 100 km.
GPS based orbit determination system for the KOMPSAT-2 has been developed. Two types of orbit determination software such as operational orbit determination and precise orbit determination are designed and implemented. GPS navigation solutions from on-board the satellite are used for the operational orbit determination and raw measurements data such as C/A code pseudo-range and L1 carrier phase for the precise orbit determination. Operational concept, architectural design, software implementation, and performance test are described.

GPS double difference, carrier phase measurements are ambiguous by an unknown inter number of cycle. High precision, relative GPS positioning can be obtained from a short time span of data if the integer double difference ambiguities can be determined efficiently. In this study, we used a ambiguities resolution method indicated by Clyde Goad. And I compared with ambiguities using Lambda method. The difference of ambiguities between two method is below ${\pm}$1.
In this study, a system that precisely determines the heave of ship hull was designed using time-differenced GNSS carrier phase measurement, and the performance was examined. First, a technique that calculates precise position relative to the original position based on TDCP measurement for point positioning using only one receiver was implemented. Second, to eliminate the long-cycle drift error occurring due to the measurement error that has not been completely removed by time-differencing, an easily implementable high-pass filter was designed, and the optimum coefficient was determined through an experiment. In a static experiment based on the precise heave measurement system implemented using low-cost commercial GNSS receiver and PC, the heave could be measured with a precision of 2 cm standard deviation. In addition, in a dynamic experiment where it moved up and down with an amplitude of 48 cm and a cycle of 20 seconds, precise heave without drift error could be determined. The system proposed in this study can be easily used for many applications, such as the altitude correction of fish detection radar.
In this paper, we introduce two techniques for resolving integer ambiguities between reference stations, which is one of the most important processes in Network RTK correction generation process. Each techniques uses Hatch filter and combination of L1/L2 measurements and we used simulation data and real data to evaluate performance of the techniques. For evaluating performance of each technique, we compared corrections generated from user site and Network RTK. As a result, Network RTK with the technique which uses Hatch filter improves user performance much more than single baseline RTK does. Residual of user is smaller than a half size of wavelength so it does not affect user integer ambiguity resolution, however, it contains significant bias error. On the other hand, when we used the technique which uses combination of L1/L2 measurements, residual error of user is largely reduced compared to the technique using Hatch filter.
