이중공기공급 이유체노즐의 선회각 변화에 따른 분무특성 (Effect of Swirl Angle on the Atomization Characteristics in Two-Fluid Nozzle with Dual Air Supplying System)

  • The atomization characteristics of the dual air supplying twin-fluid nozzle were investigated experimentally using PIV and PDA systems. The two-fluid nozzle is composed of three main parts: the feeding injector to supply fluid that is controlled by a PWM (pulse-width modulation) mode, the adaptor as a device with the ports for supplying the carrier and assist air and the main nozzle to produce the spray. The main nozzle has the swirl tip with four equally spaced tangential slots, which give the injecting fluid an angular momentum. The angle of the swirl tip varied with 0$^{\circ}$ 30$^{\circ}$, 60$^{\circ}$ and 90$^{\circ}$, and the ratios of carrier air to assist air and ALR(total air to liquid) were 0.55 and 1.23, respectively. The macroscopic behavior of the spray was investigated using PIV system, and the mean velocity, turbulent intensity and SMD distributions of the sprays were measured using PDA system. As the results, the mean axial velocity at the spray centerline decrease with the increase of the swirl angle. The turbulent intensities of the axial and radial velocity were increased with the increase of the swirl angle. The mean SMD (Sauter mean diameter) of the radial direction along the axial distance shows the lowest value at the swirl angle of 60$^{\circ}$.

  • 실리콘 태양전지의 효율을 향상하기 위해서는 소수 캐리어의 높은 수명이 필수조건이다. 따라서, 이를 달성하기 위한 실리콘 표면결함을 없애줄 수 있는 부동화(passivation) 기술이 매우 중요하다. 일반적으로 PECVD 법이나 열산화 공정을 통해 얻어진 $SiO_2$ 박막이 부동화 층으로 많이 사용되나 1000도에 이르는 고온 공정과 낮은 열적 안정성이 문제로 여겨진다. 본 연구에서는 원자층 증착법을 이용하여 400도 미만의 저온 공정을 통해 $Al_2O_3$ 부동화 박막을 형성하였다. $Al_2O_3$ 박막은 고유의 음의 고정 전하밀도로 인해 낮은 표면 재결합속도를 보이는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 질소 도핑을 통해 높은 음의 고정 전하 밀도를 얻고 이를 통해 좀 더 향상된 실리콘 표면 부동화 특성을 얻고자 하였다.

  • 본 논문은 동적환경의 GPS RTK (Global Positioning System Real Time Kinematic) 수행을 위한 반송파 고장검출에 대해 기술한다. 다양한 고장요소에 노출된 동적수신환경에서 신뢰성 높은 반송파를 확보하기 위해 신호변화 요인을 분리하여 이상 유/무를 판별하는 기법을 사용하였다. 신호변화 요소는 사용자 다이나믹, 위성 다이나믹, 오차요인으로 분리하였으며, 상대적으로 불규칙한 사용자 다이나믹 추정 성능 향상을 위해 미지정수가 소거된 시간차분 반송파와 도플러를 혼합하여 사용하였다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안한 검출 기법의 성능을 검증하였으며, 임펄스, 스텝, 램프 고장에 대한 검출 가능성을 분석하였다.

  • Field measurements have revealed that the pressure drop over a borehole during drilling of a slim oil well or a well with a long reach can depend significantly on the rotation speed of the drill pipe. An accurate prediction of the annular frictional pressure drop is therefore important for conditions where the annular clearance is small. An experimental study was carried out to study solid-liquid two phase flow in a slim hole annulus. Annular velocities of carrier fluids varied from 0.2 m/s to 1.5 m/s. The carrier fluids which were utilized included tap water and CMC water solutions. Pressure drops and average flow rates were measured for the parameters such as inner-pipe rotary speed, carrier fluid velocity, hole inclination and particle injection rate. For both water and CMC solutions, the higher the concentration of the solid particles is, the larger the pressure gradients become.

Structural intensity analysis of a large container carrier under harmonic excitations of propulsion system

  • The structural intensity analysis, which calculates the magnitude and direction of vibrational energy flow from vibratory velocity and internal force at any point of a structure, can give information on dominant transmission paths, positions of sources and sinks of vibration energy. This paper presents a numerical simulation system for structural intensity analysis and visualization to apply for ship structures based on the finite element method. The system consists of a general purpose finite element analysis program MSC/Nastran, its pre- and post-processors and an in-house program module to calculate structural intensity using the model data and its forced vibration analysis results. Using the system, the structural intensity analysis for a 4,100 TEU container carrier is carried out to visualize structural intensity fields on the global ship structure and to investigate dominant energy flow paths from harmonic excitation sources to superstructure at resonant hull girder and superstructure modes.

  • For precise positioning, GPS carrier measurements are often used. In this case, accurate position having mm${\sim}$cm error can be obtained. For 3D positioning, in CDGPS, more than five carrier phase measurements are required. When GPS signals are blocked or carrier phase measurements are insufficient, it cannot provide positioning solution. By integrating CDGPS with INS, continuity of positioning solution can be guaranteed. However, when a vehicle moves in low speed or in stationary, the CDGPS/INS integrated system is difficult to compensate INS attitude errors because GPS velocity error become relatively lange. In this paper, we used the 3D attitude GPS receiver to compensate the INS attitude error. By field experiments, it is shown that the proposed integration system maintains the navigation performance even when a vehicle is in low speed or GPS signal is blocked for a period of time.

  • 半導'||'&'||'#20307;內에서 運動하는 carrier는 Piezo 壓電物質을 進行하는 彈性波에 利得이나 損失을 줄 수 있게 된다. 本 論文에서는 半導 film에서의 drifting carrier와 Piezo 壓電 基板上을 進行하는 Rayleigh Wave間의 相互作用의 表面彈性波 增幅을 論하였다. Piezo 壓電媒質에서 表面波 의 電磁的 境界條件이 表面波 速度에 미치는 影響에 대한 式을 求하였다. 增幅에 필요한 bunching 電子 電子 散에 의해 抑制되므로 높은 周波數에서 利得의 低下를 招來하나 적당한 壓電 物質일 경우 超高周波 領域에서도 상당한 增幅이 기대됨을 알 수 있다.

  • In this paper, a structure of precise positioning based on satellite navigation system is proposed. The proposed system is consisted with three parts, range domain filter, navigation filter and position domain filter. The range domain filter generates carrier phase-smoothed-Doppler and Doppler-smoothed-code measurements. And the navigation filter calculates position and velocity using double-differenced code/carrier phase/Doppler measurements. Finally, position domain filter smooth position error, and it means enhancement of positioning performance. The proposed positioning method is evaluated by trajectory analysis using precise map date. As a result, the position error occurred by multipath or cycle slip was reduced and the calculated trajectory was in true lane.

  • The fluid flow, heat transfer and the local mass fi-action of chemical species in the chemical vapor deposition(CVD) manufacturing process are numerically studied. The deposition of silicon from dilute silane is hydrogen carrier gas in a horizontal CVD reactor is investigated. The effect of inlet carrier gas velocity, mass fraction of silane, susceptor angle on the deposition thickness and uniformity was represented.

  • The purpose of this research is to develop the model of turbulence modulation due to the presence of particles in various types of particle-laden flows. Available experimental data were surveyed and the dependence of turbulence modulation of carrier-phase on particle size, concentration and particle Reynolds number were examined. This study takes into account the effect of wake produced by particle, the drag between phases and the velocity gradient in the wake to estimate the production of turbulence. The model of turbulence modulation using the mixing length theory under the assumption of equilibrium flow is proposed. Numerical results show that the model is successful in predicting the characteristics of the particle-laden flow in various conditions both qualitatively and quantitatively.
