간호대학생의 감성지능, 돌봄효능감, 회복탄력성이 임상실습만족도에 미치는 영향 (Affect of Emotional intelligence Caring efficacy and Resilience on Satisfaction on Clinical Practice in Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 감성지능, 돌봄효능감, 회복탄력성과 임상실습만족도간의 관련성을 파악하고 임상실습만족도에 미치는 영향요인을 규명하고자 한다. 연구대상자는 D시, K시, G도에 소재한 5개의 대학교를 임의 선정하여 간호학과 재학 중이며 임상실습경험이 있는 3,4 학년 학생 총 253명 이었다. 자료 수집은 2018년 10월 1일부터 11월 23일까지 자기보고식 설문조사로 수집되었다. 수집된 자료는 PASW/WIN 20.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, 독립집단 t-test, one-way ANOVA, 사후분석은 Scheffe test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, Stepwise multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 연구결과는 일반적 특성에서 전공만족도가 높은 경우 임상실습만족도가 유의하게 높았다. 주요변인의 평균은 5점 만점에 감성지능은 3.63점, 돌봄효능감은 3.69점, 회복탄력성은 3.79점, 임상실습만족도는 3.46점이었다. 임상실습만족도는 감성지능, 돌봄효능감, 회복탄력성간에 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있었으며, 간호대학생의 감성지능, 돌봄효능감, 회복탄력성이 높을수록 임상실습만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 임상실습만족도에 영향을 미치는 변인은 돌봄효능감, 회복탄력성, 감성지능 순이었으며, 설명력은 43.4%이었다. 따라서 본 연구결과를 토대로 간호대학생의 임상실습만족도를 향상시키기 위하여 돌봄효능감, 회복탄력성, 감성지능을 높일 수 있는 교육프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

한국 30대~40대 여성의 이중돌봄 현실과 돌봄경험의 다중성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Double-Care and Multiplicity of Caring Experiences among Women Aged 30s to 40s in Korea)

  • 본 논문은 30대 부터 40대까지의 여성들 가운데 6세 이하의 자녀를 양육하는 시기와 부모/노부모를 동시에 돌봐야 하는 이중돌봄의 문제가 상당히 광범위하게 존재하고 있음을 보여주면서, 돌봄이 특정 시기의 특정 연령대에 분절적으로 일어나는 것이 아니라 생애주기의 어느 시점에도 발생할 수 있는 일상성에 주목하였다. 또한 돌봄은 부담으로서 뿐만 아니라 즐거움이나 보람을 동시에 주고 있으며, 돌봄제공자-돌봄대상자-돌봄보조자의 관계에 의하여 다양한 층위의 경험으로 분화될 수 있음을 드러내었다. 연구결과, 6세 이하 아동돌봄과 노인돌봄을 동시에 하는 이중돌봄 가구는 전체의 38%에 달했고, 향후 이중돌봄이 예상된다는 가구까지 합하면 54.9%에 이르러 이중돌봄이 상당히 보편적임을 보였다. 돌봄의 즐거움과 부담을 분석한 결과, 돌봄의 즐거움은 아동돌봄>부모돌봄>시부모돌봄 순이었으며 부담은 역순으로 나타났다. 그러나 돌봄제공자와 대상자간 관계는 돌봄 자체의 즐거움이나 부담에 영향을 미치는 주요한 요인으로 나타났다. 구체적으로 며느리-시부모간 돌봄도, 딸-부모간 돌봄도 그들이 맺어온 관계에 따라 돌봄경험이 달라지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 딸이 부모를 돌볼 경우에 남성 배우자로부터의 무관심이 더 높고 도움이 수반되지 않아서 딸로서의 돌봄이 며느리로서의 돌봄의 경우보다 부담이 가중되기도 하였다. 결론에서는 이중돌봄의 어려움을 감소시킬 수 있는 사회적 지원방안과 정책이 제안되었다.

만성질환자를 돌보는 중년기 주 돌봄 제공자의 회복탄력성, 사회적지지와 돌봄 부담감과의 관계 (The Relationship between Resilience, Social support and Caring burden of Middle-aged Caregivers caring for Chronic disease)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 만성질환자를 돌보는 중년기 주 돌봄 제공자의 회복탄력성, 사회적지지와 돌봄 부담감과의 관계를 파악하기 위한 서술적 상관관계 연구이다. 자료수집은 B시에 소재한 일개 재활전문병원 주 돌봄 제공자 175명을 대상으로 2018년 7월2일부터 7월31일까지 자가보고 설문지를 통하여 자료를 수집하였고, SPSS Win 21.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 일반적 특성 중 돌봄 부담감과 유의한 차이는 돌봄시간(F=6.67, p<.001), 일상생활 수행능력(F=4.70, p<.001), 환자의 질환(F=4.61, p<.001), 환자와의 관계(F=3.68, p<.013), 건강상태(F=3.08, p=.018), 결혼유무(t=-2.12, p<.036), 진단시기(F=2.92, p=.036) 순으로 나타났다. 돌봄 부담감은 회복탄력성, 사회적지지와 유의한 관계가 없었고, 회복탄력성과 사회적지지는 (r=.487, p<.001)으로 통계적으로 유의한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 만성질환을 돌보는 중년기 주 돌봄 제공자의 돌봄 부담감을 감소시키기 위해 돌봄 부담감에 영향을 준 제 특성요인들을 고려하여 돌봄 부담감 중재프로그램을 개발할 필요가 있을 것이다.

저소득 독거노인의 생활경험 (The Living Experiences of Low-income Elderly Living Alone)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the living experiences of low-income elderly living alone. Method: The data were collected through more than ten times of in-depth interview with 7 participants. The research question was "what is it like to experience your daily living?" The data were analyzed by Colaizzi's phenomenological analytic method. Results: Four main meaningful themes were identified: 1) The participants blamed themselves for their past lives, 2) They also felt sorry for being a burden on other's lives, 3) They considered diseases to be a natural part of life, 4) They felt worried and hopeless about the rest of their lives. Conclusion: This study revealed the living experiences of low-income elderly living alone. Further studies are needed to determine appropriate care and treatment. The authentic caring approaches are required with caring community people. Finally, this study may provide data for better recognizing the low-income elderly's experiences of caring in the community.

Experiences of Nursing Students in Caring for Pediatric Cancer Patients

  • Background: This study was performed to determine the experiences of nursing students in caring for paediatric cancer patients and their families. Materials and Methods: This qualitative survey was carried out with 14 students studying in the nursing department of the Faculty of Health Sciences of a university in Edirne, Turkey. Data were obtained through focus group interviews and evaluated based on a qualitative content analysis. Results: It was determined that students, for the most part, experienced problems related to communication, sadness, helplessness, fear, anxiety, resentment and anger. In addition, the students were affected most often by effects of the disease and invasive procedures on paediatric cancer patients and their families during the process of caring for them in the oncology clinic. Conclusions: It would be useful to inform nursing students, prior to clinical practice, about the special needs of paediatric cancer patients and families who stay in oncology clinics, and to follow up with appropriate guidance during the clinical practices.

여성가족간호자의 치매노인 돌봄경험: 여성주의적 접근 (Women Caregivers′ Experiences in Caring at Home for a Family Member with Dementia: A Feminist Approach)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore women caregivers' lived experiences in caring at home for a family member with dementia and to identify conditions that oppress women in the context of family caregiving. Method: This study was conducted within the feminist perspectives using qualitative secondary data. Ten secondary data conveying self reflective contents were selected from the 25 original data obtained in 1999 to 2000. Result: Six themes that emerged from the qualitative thematic content analysis were; androcentric view of family caregiving, undervalued family caregiving by the family members, Self rationalization in the context of family caregiving, family-centric care mechanism, exemplary caring within the family context, and inter-familial relationships among women. Conclusion: The main focus of feminist research is to provide empowerment for the women, research participants and to bring about social change of oppressive constraint through some actions. On the basis of the research findings, therefore, action strategies from feminist perspectives were suggested in some aspects of health care delivery sectors, nursing education and research sectors, and administrative sectors.

충남 일부지역유치원 및 보육시설 아동 어머니의 구강보건 지식과 행동에 관한 연구 (A study on oral health knowledge and behavior of mothers of children attending kindergartens and child care facilities in some parts of Chungnam)

  • Objectives : Since most oral diseases are not life threatening, it can be assumed that an individual's behavior to maintain one's oral health is most likely influenced by one's oral health knowledge. Methods : Mothers whose children are attending five kindergartens and child care facilities in the city of Danjin, Chungnam were selected as subjects of this study. Out of a total of 230 questionnaires collected. A self-administered survey was conducted from April 1 to April 30, 2012. The data were analyzed using SPSS 19.0 (SPSS 19.0 K for window, SPSS Inc, USA) with the level of significance as 0.05. Results : 1. Most of the participants correctly answered questions on the oral health knowledge with a mean of 7.37 out of 9. 2. In the section of caring a child's oral health behavior, 'caring a child to brush his or her teeth three times a day' had the highest score of 3.45 out of 5. 3. Looking at caring a child's oral health behavior and a mother's oral health knowledge by general characteristics of mothers, there were no significant differences based on the mother's age, whether a mother is currently working or not, her level of education, and her monthly average income. Conclusions : Based on the above results, we can draw a conclusion that the lower the difference between the rate of correct answers and that of incorrect answers on mother's oral health knowledge to her child, the higher the mother's score of caring her child's oral health behavior, leading to better caring.

간호대학생의 완벽주의 성향과 임상실습현장지도자의 돌봄에 대한 지각이 임상실습 중 경험한 무례함에 미치는 영향 (The influence of nursing students' perfectionism tendency and perception of instructor caring on incivility experienced by nursing students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the influences of nursing students perfectionism tendencies and their perception of instructor caring on incivility experienced by nursing students during clinical practice. Methods: A descriptive correlational study was conducted. The participants were 244 nursing students from five universities in B city. Data were analyzed using an independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, Scheffé test and a stepwise regression analysis. Results: The mean score for incivility in nursing students was 2.61 out of 5 points. The explanatory power of the model for incivility was in nursing students 52.8% of the variance in training in student's university hospital (𝛽=-.15, p=.002), total period of clinical practice (𝛽=.17, p<.001), confidence through caring (𝛽=-.23, p<.001), respectful sharing (𝛽=-.15, p=.005), supportive learning climate (𝛽=-.15, p=.005), self-oriented perfectionism (𝛽=.14, p=.004), and socially prescribed perfectionism (𝛽=.18, p<.001). Conclusion: The research results suggest that instructor caring is an important factor in regard to the incivility of nursing students. Organizational efforts and institutional devices will be needed to improve the incivility in clinical environments. By communicating with students and showing them respect, clinical nurses will help nursing students cope with incivility and recognize the clinical practice education environment positively.

슬관절 치환술 환자의 교육 프로그램 효과에 관한 연구 (Effects of the Educational Program for Patients of T.K.R.A.)

  • This study is aimed to evaluate the effects of the educational program that is designed to help the patients of T.K.R.A. to improve their self-nursing ability. The research will show how well this program can contribute to raising of their adaptability of everyday life by decreasing the difficulties that the patients had before in their daily life. The sample persons for this research were 40 adult patients who had T.K.R.A. in our hospital, and the data were collected through the questionnaires which were given to them. For the surveying tool, Jette's scale was applied to measure the degree of uncomforting that the patients experienced in their daily life. The materials of report had been gathered from May 1st to December 10th. The collected data were analyzed with real numbers, percentage, average, the standard deviation, TorF test and Pearsons correlation. The results of this study can be summarized like follows: The survey of self-caring exercise part were processed with two groups containing experiment group and contrast group. The exercise which took the highest points in experiment group was repetition of stretching and bending knees with laid down position while taking a walk, repetition of stretching and bending knees with seated on chair position and repetition of stretching and bending knees with laid down position got high points in contrast group. There were distinctive differences in statistics between repetition of stretching and bending knees in laid down position and taking a walk. There was no significant statistical gap between the degrees of inconveniences of daily life that each two groups experienced when we compared the average of the two groups, but 12 out of 20 questions got considerable differences. According to common characters of self-caring, there was a distinctive gap in the group who left the hospital in 14days and the ones who spend more than 30 minutes with exercise. The patient group who left the hospital in fourteen days after T.K.R.A. spent more time doing self-caring exercise. In the relationship between common characters and the degree of difficulties of daily life, Exercising is effective and Spending more that 30 minutes for exercise showed visible differences. The patients who answered that exercise are effective and put more time for it experienced less pain in their everyday life. The data proved by Pearson's correlation showed the relationship between self- caring and the degree of pain of daily life. According to the result, the increasing of self-caring activities helped to down the degree of inconveniences of daily life. This data show that T.K.R.A. reduced self-caring exercise ability and daily life activities. Therefore, the medical staffs who would take care the T.K.R.A. patients should offer stable nursing through well scheduled and education materials for patients. It is also important to encourage the patients to participate to the exercise by showing them how exercise after T.K.R.A. The education program is expecting to guarantee not only the right of patients to get enough information but also effective result to decrease uncomfortable of daily life.

인성동화를 활용한 협동활동이 유아의 배려적 사고에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Cooperative Activity using Character-related Picture Books on Children's Caring Thinking)

  • 본 연구는 현대사회의 유아들에게 발생하는 사회문제 중 개인주의적 성향 증가, 탈 공동체화 현상을 해결하고자 인성동화를 활용한 협동활동을 구성하였다. 이를 적용하여 유아가 자신에 대한 이해와 타인에 대한 배려적 사고를 올바르게 형성하도록 돕는데 목적이 있다. 충청북도 C시의 K어린이집과 S어린이집 2개 학급의 만 4세 유아 50명을 연구대상으로 하였으며, 자료수집은 배려적 사고 검사도구를 이용하여 독립 t검증을 실시하고 놀이상황 녹음 녹화, 연구자의 저널 등의 질적자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과, 실험집단의 점수가 비교집단의 점수보다 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타나 인성동화를 활용한 협동활동이 유아의 배려적 사고에 영향을 미쳤음을 알 수 있다. 따라서 인성동화를 활용한 협동활동은 자신을 이해하고 타인의 감정을 존중할 줄 아는 배려적 사고 형성에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 입증하였다. 본 연구가 인성동화를 활용한 협동활동의 적용에 도움을 제공하고 인성교육활동 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초자료로 사용될 것을 기대한다.
