응급구조학과 학생들의 진로선택유형에 따른 진로장애요인과 진로정체감 (Career obstacle factors and career identity according to career choice type among paramedic students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study was to examine the career obstacle factors and career identity according to career choice type among paramedic students. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 234 paramedic students in C area from August 25 to September 3, 2015. The questionnaire consisted of general characteristics of the subjects, career obstacle factors, career identity, and types of career choice. The data were analyzed by t test, ANOVA, post hoc $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS v. 20.0. Results: Career obstacle factors and career identity of paramedic students had significant differences on motivation of university choice, major satisfaction, and job preference. A stable type of career choice showed a significantly lower score for career obstacle factors and a higher score for career identity. Career identity had a strongly positive relationship with major satisfaction and had a negative relationship with career obstacle factors. Logistic regression analysis revealed that the main variables affecting career identity were types of career choice, motivation of university choice, major satisfaction, and career obstacle factors. The explanatory power was 58.0%. Conclusion: The development of a career integrity enhancement program can solve the career obstacle factors for paramedic students.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate nursing students' awareness of career decision-making self-efficacy, career search behavior and commitment to career choice. Methods: Data were collected using a self-report questionnaire from 397 nursing students in D city from October 1 to October 8, 2014. Results: The average score of career decision-making self-efficacy, career search behavior and commitment to career choice was 3.42, 3.08 and 3.27 on a Likert 5 point-scale respectively. Career decision-making self-efficacy and career search behavior were significantly different according to grade of subject. There were positive correlations between career decision-making self-efficacy, career search behavior and commitment to career choice. Conclusion: It is necessary to develop an effective career support program from 1st grade to improve nursing student's career decision-making self-efficacy, career search behavior and commitment to career choice.

  • 본 연구에서는 전문대학생의 진로자기효능감 및 진로선택을 분석하였다. 전문대학생의 진로자기효능감과 진로선택은 전공계열과 전공만족도에 따라 차이가 나타났으며, 성별의 경우 진로선택에서만 차이가 나타났다. IT자격증 유무는 진로자기효능감과 진로선택에 있어 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 전문대학생의 경우 진로자기효능감을 높이기위해서는 전공계열별로 전공만족도를 향상시킬 필요가 있으며, 진로선택시 대부분이 전공계열로 진학 및 취업 할 계획이기에 전공에 대한 만족도를 높일 수 있는 다양한 방안이 마련되어야 할 것이다.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze group differences of Commitment to career choice and Career stress coping strategy by the Career decision and Career preparation behavior for College Students. Through the results of this study we wanted to look for discriminatory implications for the counseling intervention. The data of 720 college students were collected for the study. The distinction of four types was revealed by the results from Crosstabs and One-way ANOVA. The frequency of upper grades indicated ideal type. But the immature type was fourth grade. There were significant differences in accordance with the two-dimensional typology of Commitment to career choice and Career stress coping strategy by One-way ANOVA. Discussion focused on effective intervention strategies in career counseling based on group differences by the Career decision and Career Preparation Behavior.

미용학과 학생들의 진로태도와 진로선택성향 (The Career Attitude and Career Choice of Cosmetology University Students)

  • The objective of this study is to explore the relationship between MBTI personality type and career attitude and career choice of cosmetology university students. Data were collected by self-administered questionnaires. Chi-square test and logistic regression analysis was conducted. The major findings of this study are as follows: In regard to career-related attitude, ISTJ type out of 16 MBTI is higher than other type on the positive attitude. In regard to the relationship of MBTI and career choice, ISTP, ISFP and ENFJ type is more prefer skin care than the other type. And INTP type is more prefer hair design and makeup. And also the psychological functional type and career choice, ST showed the preference on skin care, and SF preferred makeup field. Finally NT and NF psychological functional type showed the preference on hair design.

남자 간호대학생의 진로유형 및 진로유형에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Career Choice of Male Nursing Students and Factors Influencing Their Career Choice)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study was to evaluate career choice of male nursing students and identify factors influencing their career choice. Methods: Subjects were 123 male nursing junior and senior students in B city, U city, and GN area. Career types were classified into a hospital nurse and a community nurse. Subjects were asked about 29 items of nurse image and 31 items of satisfaction on clinical practice. The collected data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, average and standard deviation, t-test, ${\chi}^2$-test, and logistic regression, using SPSS 21.0 program. Results: The percentage of career choice which subjects hoped when admitted into nursing universities consisted of hospital nurses of 77.2%, while the percentage changed to hospital nurses of 52.8% at the time of this survey. The nurse image represented as an influencing factor, and it was found that if nurse image score increased one unit, the hoping units of career type of hospital nurse increased 2.69 times. Conclusion: The educational institutions have to provide career education programs and information concerned to not only hospital nurses but also community nurses, and further studies on the positioning and expanding roles of community male nurses need to be conducted.

대학생의 진로스트레스, 진로선택몰입 및 진로결정 자기효능감과의 관계 (Relationship of career-related stress, commitment to a career choice and career decision self-efficacy of college students)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 진로스트레스, 진로선택몰입 및 진로결정 자기효능감과의 관계를 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상은 P시에 소재한 4년제 대학생 293명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 2015년 5월 6일부터 5월 29일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 서술적 통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson,s correlation coefficient, Hierarchical regression analysis로 분석하였다. 연구결과 대상자의 진로스트레스는 진로선택몰입(r=-.731, p<.001)과 진로결정 자기효능감(r=-.449, p<.001)과 유의한 음의 상관관계가 있었으며, 진로스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인은 학년(${\beta}$=.99, p<.017)과 진로선택몰입(${\beta}$=-.707, p<.001)이었다. 그러므로 대학생의 진로스트레스를 감소시키기 위해서는 진로선택몰입과 진로결정 자기효능감을 향상시키기 위한 교육프로그램이 필요하다.

과학 관련 진로교육 프로그램이 초등학생의 진로 선택에 미치는 영향 (The Influences of Career Education Programs Related to the Science on Elementary School Students' Career Choice)

  • This study investigated the influence of the application of the career education programs related to the science of the elementary school on the career choice. For this study, a total of 32 lessons (4 units) utilizing the career education programs related the science curriculum were developed. The study subjects were 128 students from Y elementary school located in Incheon. A test with regard to the science related career choice and the science related career choice factors was performed before and after the lessons. For more detailed analysis, the experimental group was divided into two groups of female and male students; students who hope and do not hope career in science-related fields. As a result of the performance of career education programs, it showed a significant improvement in the 'science related career choice'. And, it also showed all significant improvements in 'science related major/department, education lecture selection'. It was possible to know that the students who do not wish science related jobs in the future also changed their mind on to the science. In addition, all the subcategories of the 'preference for science learning' area such as 'preference for science subject', 'preference for experiment', 'recognition of science subject availability', 'recognition of the impact of teacher' showed a significant improvement. The 'perception about career related to science' showed a significant improvement on the whole. There was no significant improvement on the whole in 'participation in science related activities'.

의과대학과 의학전문대학원생들의 진로적응성에 따른 직업관, 진로선택, 전공미결정요인 비교 (Work Value, Career Choice, and Specialty Indecision Based on Career Adaptability of Medical College and Graduate School Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences between medical college students and graduate school students with regard to the factors that shape career choice and specialty indecision. One hundred and thirty-three students from a medical school participated in this study. The students completed a survey, which collected information on career choice, specialty indecision, and career adaptability. Significant differences were found between high and low career adaptability groups in factors that affected specialty choice and indecision. Students with high career adaptability were significantly more affected by 'intellectual content of specialty,' 'ages and characteristics of patients,''patient contact experience during the early years of medical school,' and 'greater opportunity for research.' Among the specialty indecision factors, students with high career adaptability were affected by 'several specialties equally appealing to me' and 'many interests,' while students with low career adaptability were affected by being 'unaware of my abilities,''unaware of my interests' and having 'learned my choice was not possible for me.' The factor having the greatest influence on specialty indecision was 'need more information and support,' and there were no significant differences in these factors between the two groups. The results suggest that the development of career counseling and education programs need to be designed for medical college students and graduate students in terms of career adaptability and specialty indecision.

대학생의 자아상태가 진로포부와 직업선택가치에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of College Students' Ego Status on Career Aspiration and Job Choice Value)

  • 본 연구는 관광경영학과 학생들의 교류분석 결괴에 따른 자신의 진로에 대한 포부와 직업 선택의 가치를 알아보고자 경기도 소재 S대학 관광경영학과 재학생 120명을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였다. 설문은 선행연구를 바탕으로 재구성하여 총45문항으로, 직업선택 가치의 조사항목은 요인분석 결과에 따라 리더십욕구, 전문성향상, 직계향상, 사회적기여, 지적가치산출, 여가보장, 급여수준 등 7개 요인으로 분류하였다. 연구 결과 진로포부와 직업선택 가치는 매우 높은 상관관계가 있는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 에고그램 구조에서는 성인 자아샹태와 높은 상관관계를 보이는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또, 직업포부가 크고, 성인자아 활동이 높을수록 직업선택의 가치도 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 교류 분석이론을 기초로 한 자아상태 프로파일 분석은 학생들의 진로결정과 향후 직업 선택 및 직업 선택의 가치 적성을 탐색하는데 매우 유용한 기초 자료로 활용 될 수 있을 것이며, 직업을 보다 폭넓게 이해하고 진로대안을 모색하는데 도움이 될 것으로 생각된다.
