  • This research is a data analysis result of a future gout treatment was carried out in order to take advantage of basic data by Planned Population Federation of Korea in 2012, classified by gender. Using SPSS 18.0 analysis, frequency analysis, chi-squared analysis and logistic regression analysis were conducted. As a result, there were exceptional number of male subjects that required hyperuricemia thorough complete examination, and in case of hypouricemia, it is notable to find much more female subjects (p<0.001). Subjects that required thorough complete examination per age group and hypouricemia were significantly higher in those above the age of 70 years(p<0.001). Conclusions that required hyperuricemia thorough complete examination were a bit higher in the city areas and hypouricemia was a bit higher in the county areas, hyperuricemia was a bit higher in ratio in inland areas and hypouricemia was a bit higher in ratio in the coastal areas. I believe that continuous observation of gout prevalence rate based on this research by year, age group, and gender, would be extremely useful in making decisions regarding the changing trend of gout prevalence rate. In addition, hyperuricemia increased in postmenopausal women, as well as research on the causes of hypouricemia study.

  • High Internet usage and the public's keen interest on health have influenced the health care system, and a potential value of the online health information and medical consultation market is immense. This study reveals results from data collected from Seoul residents in the age group of 20s in 2011. Out of 499 respondents, 75.2% answered that they used online health information; however, only 7.2% answered that they have used online medical consultation services. Findings on the purposes of using online medical consultation included treatments of symptoms(33.6%) and self-disciplines of one's health(19.5%). Mostly used Websites for health information search included search engines and blogs, but respondents preferred to use government sites and hospital sites in the future. When choosing a medical consultation, respondents preferred a certain website for different reasons including creditability of the consultant(23.7%), creditability of the organization(23.7%), rapid responses(21.2%), and more. Overall, although health information search via web is being highly utilized among people in their 20s, utilization of online medical consulting is not. Thus, promotion efforts to increase awareness and utilization of online medical consulting based on the site selection criteria, type of personal information disclosure, and other preferences are essential. The key point is to create a new meaning through showing imaginative power of audiences from the world flying across the borderland between reality and fiction. It regarded suitable for analysis of the borderland appearing in the unconscious world of dream and reality through "abjection". Therefore, this study intends to analogize the conclusion through analysis of the animation focusing on the theory of Julia Kristeva. Abject appears as the phenomenon which cannot be disappeared and the one threatening to disunite which the subject had already organized in the symbolic. The self-feeling of characters is not stable and it keeps watch constantly on the one which may neutralize his caution. They are looking for the power to strengthen the life granting to the subjecthood by chora as the resisting power against the symbolic order. That is, the dreaming space where revengeful power of primitive libido is working and shows mother as Paprika as well as enters through DC mini, works as the semiotic chora as "maternal body". The healing of mental lack in the symbolic caused from here is connected on the borderland to divide between meaning and meaningless as well as normality and abnormality in the semiotic and this is the maternal power of the semiotic. Therefore, "abjection", "abject" and "chora" as well as care and healing of the other self appearing in the subjectivization process in the can be regarded as the one caused from the love towards the subject to be analyzed.

  • The aim of this study is to understand the ethical struggles of Child Protective Service(CPS) social workers and to indicate some implications for future studies by conducting research focusing on their ethical dilemmas and decision-making. This study used qualitative methods, in particular the phenomenological approach and 14 in-depth semi-structured interviews with CPS social workers, and were conducted and analyzed using the procedures of Colaizzi(1978). This study looks at the following research questions: 1) What kind of ethical dilemmas do CPS social workers encounter? This means what ethical dilemmas do they directly or indirectly encounter because of policy or system inadequacies and huge caseloads. 2) How do the CPS social workers make decisions when they are faced with ethical dilemmas? Making the best decisions with all of their responsibilities and burdens is the focus of this question. This study suggests the following discussions: First, efforts to emphasize 'ethics' at CPS are needed. Second, proper policies and systems based on the Korean situation are needed so that CPS social workers won't have to face 'needless' ethical dilemmas. Third, an index of ethical problems or ethical codes is necessary because principles are important to those social workers who face ethical dilemmas. Fourth, an ethical committee that protects the CPS social workers by supporting their decisions and being responsible for them is needed. Last, a debriefing system that reduces a CPS social worker's psychological trauma caused by ethical dilemmas should be available.

  • In the study, we introduce the trend in domestic and foreign web accessibility, as well as the legal system that ensures web accessibility. Based on Korean Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (KWCAG)1.0, we investigated the web content accessibility of 80 tertiary health-care hospitals and general hospitals in Korea. We evaluated accessibility by combining accessibility-based criteria (ABC) with usability-based criteria (UBC). ABC was limited to an alternative text for Guideline 1, using a small number of frames and keyboard accessibility for Guideline 2. UBC checked the voice service (TTS), resizing text, providing multi-lingual websites, and disclosing web accessibility policy. KADO-WAH2.0 was used for representing the compliance rate. The evaluation result was a considerable improvement from previous results, even though the rate of compliance with web accessibility was generally insufficient. There was a significant difference between those medical centers which did and did not comply with web accessibility. Incidentally, many hospitals were found to have attempted to confront and come to terms with web accessibility. In future, the following factors are advisable for medical centers with publicity or public interest: they must employ active and aggressive promotion of establishment of independent accessibility guidelines to secure web accessibility, they should effect an improvement of the realization of web accessibility, there can be constant education and promotion, and there can be an institutional supplementation, as well as others.
