생물학적 폐수처리시 수질 경도에 따른 처리효과 연구 (Effect of Water-Hardness in the Biological Wastewater-treatment)

  • Biological treatment of wastewater was studied with a purpose to remove TOC by the reduction of water hardness. The optimal conditions of coagulant were determined by reaction time and amount of coagulant. Experimental results indicate that the biological treatment after physico-chemical treatment was found to provide very efficient removal efficiency in the process to treat the textile wastewater, including the carbon dioxide treatment. The combined process of carbonization in the physico-chemical treatment respectively was increased the removal efficiencies of $30.0\%$ in biological treatment in comparison with exclusive biological treatment. As a result, the treatment of hardness after carbonization had the best removal efficiency of approximately $60.0\%$. The removal efficiencies in the exclusive biological treatment using Bacillus subtilis and after carbonization were increased by $38.9\%\;and\;69.0\%$ respectively. The combined Bacillus subtilis-assisted biological treatment was determined to be the most effective method to treat the textile wastewater in an economic point of view, the water quality in the wastewater treatment plays an important role.

  • Quaternary aminized cellulosic adsorbents (C $A_{QA}$ ) which exhibit adsorption capacities for anionic dyestuffs for the treatment of colored waste water and re-use of the treated water were studied. The isotherms and thermodynamic parameters of C.I. Acid Orange 7, solution considered as a model of negatively charged coloring matters for C $A_{QA}$ , were determined. Batch method and flow method were employed to determine decoloring capacity of cellulosic adsorbents for Orange 7. The cellulosic adsorbents exhibited much better adsorption capacity than activated carbon. Furthermore the exhausted cellulosic adsorbents could be readily regenerated by washing with dilute sodium hydroxide.

  • Poly-$\beta$-hydroxybutyrate(PHB) was biosynthesized using Alcaligenes sp. FL-027. Alcaligenes sp. FL-027 was cultivated by fed-batch methods, in order to promote cell growth and PHB accumulation with carbon source. The cells were first grown at 3$0^{\circ}C$ on the fermentor. The structure of biosynthesized PHB is investigated by the NMR, IR. The crystalline portions were identified through the use of DSC and X-ray diffractometer. The melting point was about 16$0^{\circ}C$ and the diffraction peaks of (020) and (110) were shown at 13$^{\circ}$ and 17$^{\circ}$, respectively.

  • Polyurethane (PU) was synthesized by one-shot process and the PU nanofiber was prepared by electrospinning. In this study, electrospun PU multi-membranes were prepared with various coating thickness ratio of base resin to top resin, where the base resin contains melamine curing agent and acid catalyst and the top resin contains water-repellent agent of fluoro-carbon compounds. The PU nanofiber multi-membranes were analyzed by field-emission scanning electron microscopy, differential scanning calorimeter, breathability, tensile strenth, air permeability and water resistance. The results showed that the PU multi-membrane provided excellent waterproof and moisture permeability.

  • The present study examined the effectiveness of textile fabrics coated with nano-pore materials on removing the nitrogen oxide (NOX) and sulfur oxide (SOX) in the atmospheric environment. The tested approach is favorable for absorbing NOX and SOX, even under the washing condition.

탄소계 면상발열체 발열 특성 연구 (Study on the Heat Performance of CNT/carbon Fiber Plane Heater)

  • Electrical energy is used for heating and cooling because electric cars do not have engines and cooling water. The downside is that when the heating and cooling system is applied to electric vehicles, about 40 percent of the energy is spent on heating and cooling, which is less efficient in winter. This has increased demand for electric vehicle battery efficiency. In this study, the condensation and dispersion of carbon nanotubes were controlled, and carbon fibers and composite slurry were manufactured without binders to manufacture paper. Manufactured by content showed the highest heat generation characteristic at 143℃ with a carbon fiber content ratio of 20wt% and confirmed that the heat temperature rises with increasing pressure. The plane heaters made through this study can be applied to a variety of products other than electric vehicles because they can be simplified by process and high temperature.

어선 선체의 탄소섬유복합재 적용을 위한 구조 강도 특성 연구 (A Study of Structural Strength Characteristics for Application of Carbon Composites in Fishing Vessel Hull)

  • Recently, carbon composites have been applied to various fields. However, carbon composites have not been applied to the fishing vessel field due to its structure standards centered on glass composites. In this study, a structural strength evaluation study was conducted for the application of carbon composites in the fishing vessel field. Hull minimum thickness verification test and hull joint verification test were conducted. Compared to glass composites, the verification was based on equivalent or better performance. The results show that carbon composites can reduce the weight by 20% compared to glass composites. For hull joints, it was necessary to increase the thickness of the joint seam by the thickness of the hull to apply carbon composite. Through this study, a standard for the application of carbon composites to fishing vessel can be established.

  • 시멘트는 건설업에의 기초소재이지만 시멘트 제조시 고온의 소성이 필요하고, 소성시의 원료 및 연료로부터 발생하는 $CO_2$는 새로운 환경문제로 인식되어 이를 저감하기 위한 노력이 지속되고 있다. 콘크리트 분야에서의 $CO_2$ 저감을 위한 기술은 고로슬래그 및 플라이애시 등의 혼합시멘트 사용을 권장하는 것이 저감 대책의 대부분을 차지하고 있다. 또한 콘크리트 구조물 해체 시 발생하는 건설폐기물도 또 다른 환경문제로 인식되며 재활용률을 높이기 위한 여러 가지 방안들이 시행되고 있다. 본 연구는 구조물 해체 시 발생하는 무기계 재생원료를 리사이클을 통해 시멘트 제조의 원료로서 활용하기 위한 것이다. 폐콘크리트, 폐시멘트블록, 폐점토벽돌 및 폐천장재 미분말의 원료조성 검토를 통해 시멘트의 원료로서 활용하고자 한다. 연구결과 재생원료의 원료조성 및 조합을 통해 저탄소형 수경성 시멘트 결합재 제조가 가능한 것을 확인하였다.

탄소섬유 강화 복합재로 구성된 인라인 디스크 휠의 충격거동 평가 (Evaluation of the Impact Behavior of Inline Disk Wheel Made of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Composites)

  • 본 연구에서 다루는 탄소섬유 복합재 인라인 휠은 플라스틱 인라인 휠 허브의 기존 재질을 탄소섬유 직물/에폭시 수지로 구성된 디스크 형의 허브로 대체하는 것이다. 지면으로부터의 충격 하중은 탄소섬유 복합재 휠의 충격 성능 평가를 위해 저속 충격 시험이 수행되었고, 기존의 플라스틱 휠의 성능과 비교하여 수행되었다. 본 연구는 시험 조건으로 70 J의 충격 하중을 적용하였다. 충격 에너지는 타격 추의 높이와 무게를 조정하여 조절되었다. 탄소섬유 복합재 디스크 허브의 사용은 무게를 절감하고 실제 운행 조건과 유사한 조건인 낮은 충격에너지에서 우수한 반발력을 나타내는 것으로 확인되었다. 충격 하중에 따라 최대 하중은 비례적으로 증가하지만, 최대 하중의 성장은 20 J 충격 하중에서 감소되었고, 45 J 충격 하중에서부터 감소되는 경향의 결과를 보였다. 탄소섬유 복합재 휠은 5 J, 10 J의 충격 하중에서 전체 충격 에너지의 35.3, 19.1%가 리바운딩 되는 우수한 특성을 보였다. 반면에 20 J 이상의 충격하중에 대해서는 얇은 탄소섬유 복합재 허브의 크랙 생성으로 인해 전체 에너지의 5% 이하로 리바운드 되었다.

유색배수 처리를 위한 고분자흡착제의 개발과 그 응용(III) ―디에틸아미노에틸화 셀룰로오스계 흡착제― (Development of Polymeric Adsorbents for the Treatment of Colored Waste Waters and It's Applications ―Diethylaminoethylated Cellulosic Adsorbents―)

  • In the present work, decoloring of acid dye solution by the diethylaminoethylated cellulosic adsorbents($CA_{DASE}$) was studied with the aim of developing polymeric adsorbents for the treatment of colored wastewaters. To prepare the cellulosic adsorbents, the $CA_{DASE}$ cellulose and polyvinyl alcohol mixture(80 wt% cellulose content) were crosslinked by tryacryloyl hexahydro-s-tryazine(TAHHT), ammonium phosphate and then treated with solutions containing sodium hydroxide and 2-diethylaminoethyl chloride. Batch and flow method were employed to determine decoloring capacity of C $A_{DEAE}$ for C.I.acid yellow 49. $CA_{DASE}$ exhibited much better desorption capacity than activated carbon. Furthermore, the exhausted $$CA{DASE} could be readily regenerated by washing with dilute sodium hydroxide.
