  • The integrity assurance of recorded video by car black boxes are necessary as the car black box is becoming more popular. In this paper, we propose a video data integrity assurance scheme reflecting the features of car black box. The proposed method can detect any kind of deletion, insertion, modification of frames by cyclic chaining using inter block relation. And, it provides the integrity assurance function consistently even in cases of file overwriting because of no more free space in storage, partial file data lost. And non-repudiation is supported. Experimental results with a car black box embedded system with A8 application processor show that our method has a feasible computational overhead to process full HD resolution video at 30 frames per second in a real time.

  • South Korea's black box made of the hardware-based has problem that is modify program update and Physical errors. This problem makes the driver uncomfortable. And it is save to built-in memory, after collect with GPS and Video Data. However, These data are the information used for accident analysis lacks credibility. In this paper, to solve this problem, android Black Box application has been developed. This application is collecting OBD protocol(information inside the car) and Existing data.

  • Car black box helps to investigate the cause of accident by recording time, position and videos as well as shock information. In addition, the car black box need a function to support safe driving for preventing accident. The representative driving support function is a lane departure warning. In order to implement the function, it is necessary to carry out the image processing to detect the lane first. The image processing algorithm requires computational burden to handle so much data and complicated structure of algorithm. This paper describes the efficient image processing algorithm with relatively low amount of computation for car black box embedded platform to detect lanes from the real-time lane image.

  • This paper is based on the ubiquitous network of telematics technology, equipped with a black box to the car by a unique address given to IPv6. The driver's black box at startup and operation of certification, and the car's driving record handling video signals in real-time sensor signals handling to analyze the records. Through the recorded data is encrypted transmission, and the Ubiquitous network of base stations, roadside sensors through seamless mobility and location tracking data to be generated. This is a file of Transportation Traffic Operations Center as a unique address IPv6 records stored in the database. The car is equipped with a black box used on the road go to Criminal cases, the code automotive black boxes recovered from the addresses and IPv6, traffic records stored in a database to compare the data integrity verification and authentication via secure. This material liability in the courtroom and the judge Forensic data are evidence of the recognition as a highly secure. convenient and knowledge in the information society will contribute to human life.

  • This paper presents reconstruction analysis of vehicle trajectory using records of a developed black box, and results of validation tests. For reconstruction of vehicle trajectory, the black box records the longitudinal and lateral accelerations and yaw-rate of vehicle during a pre-defined time period before and after the accident. One 2-axis accelerometer is used for measuring accelerations, and one vibrating structure type gyroscope is used for measuring yaw-rate of vehicle. The vehicle's planar trajectory can be reconstructed by integrating twice accelerations along longitudinal and lateral directions with yaw-rate values. However, there may be many kinds of errors in sensor measurements. The causes of errors are as follows: mis-alignment, low frequency offset drift, high frequency noise, and projecting 3-dimensional motion into 2-dimensional motion. Therefore, some procedures are taken for error compensation. In order to evaluate the reliability and the accuracy of trajectory reconstruction results, the black box was mounted on a passenger car. The vehicle was driven and tested along various specified lanes. Through the tests, the accuracy and usefulness of the reconstruction analysis have been validated.

  • A vehicle black box helps to investigate the cause of accident by recording time, and videos as wells as shock information of the time of accident Lately, intelligent black box with accident prevention as well as existing functions is being studied. This paper proposes an applicable algorithm for vehicle black boxes that prevent any accident likely to occur while a car is parked, like robbery, theft or hit-and-run. Proposed algorithm provides object recognition, face detection and alarm as the object approaches car. Tests on the algorithm prove that it can recognize an approaching object, identify and set alarm if needed, depending on each risk level.

  • Recently, a great attention has been paid to a car black box device in the automobile markets besides it provides an accident re-construction based on the data which contains audio, video, and some meaningful driving informations. Also, it is expected that the device will get to promote around public transit and the market will greatly grow within a few years. Thus, this research conducted of preference the influencing factors in decisions purchase of auto black box. Factors influencing in decisions purchase of black box was divided safety, functionality, differentiation, economics. Questionnaire survey was conducted to those who worked in black box company. This study suggests practical and theoretical implications of factors influencing in purchase decisions based on the results.

Effective Road Distance Estimation Using a Vehicle-attached Black Box Camera (차량 장착 블랙박스 카메라를 이용한 효과적인 도로의 거리 예측방법)

  • Recently, lots of research works have been actively focused on the self-driving car. In order to implement the self-driving car, lots of fusion techniques should be merged and, specially, it is noted that a vehicle-attached camera can provide several useful functionalities such as traffic lights recognition, pedestrian detection, stop-line recognition including simple driving records. Accordingly, as one of the efficient tools for the self-driving car implementation, this paper proposes a mathematical model for estimating effectively the road distance with a vehicle-attached black box camera. The proposed model can be effectively used for estimating the road distance by using the height of black box camera or the widths of the referenced road line and the observed road line. Through several simulations, it is shown that the proposed model is effective in estimating the road distance.

  • Cars that are currently available to the operator to ensure convenience and safety for electronics devices now on the market supply is developed. The current car black box of electronics service, parking, is to help when reversing. The black box is necessary at the time of the accident. After-market through a lot of these are advertised. However, these products are known only to the rear or the front of the picture, as well, at the time of driving, the accident and the front left and right lateral images of the boundary of the car can not be confirmed. Electronics devices on the market, but they can not give this problem solving. In this paper, we propose these to the algorithm-around view of the driver's operation of the vehicle after the car sideways, left and right of the room with integrated video Black Box is designed to provide.
