A Study for Parking Characteristic of A Large Scale Event (대규모행사시 주차장 이용특성 분석)

  • Prepare need in each branch for a large scale event. especially prepare for transportation problem is very important. most research for until at now parking prepare according city management however, parking prepare for large event is a necessity which it will parking characteristic. accordingly this research is conducted study for parking prepare subject of large event. this study result, vehicle demand for parking by stadium have many but vehicle demand for parking off stadium have few. accordingly large parking supply is ineffective. shuttle bus service in principal position of city is effective. study result showed that it included 85% parking at 6~7hour before large event start time. accordingly disposition time of parking manager is desirable 6~7hour before large event start time.

  • u-City 상에는 다양한 종류의 임베디드 기기가 존재하며, 최근 이들 간의 다양한 데이터 처리 및 기기 간 통신의 상호운영성에 대한 문제가 이슈화 되고 있다. RT-EdSB (Real-time Embedded Service Bus)는 ESB와 DDS 그리고 CEP를 기반으로 하는 프레임워크로 임베디드 기기에서 발생하는 다양한 수많은 데이터의 실시간으로 처리하면서 동시에 임베디드 기기간의 통신의 상호운영성을 보장하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 RT-EdSB 프레임워크 아키텍처를 제안하고 또한 u-City에서의 RT-EdSB의 활용 방안을 제시하고 있다.

  • The current carrying conductor and the tank which consist of GIS must be properly designed to withstand the electrical, thermal and mechanical stresses that arise during normal service and during short-circuit conditions. In order to design the current carrying conductor for EHV GIS, it is important to consider temperature-rise when rated current flows. In this paper, we analyze magnetic field distribution and power-loss, according to the change of materials when AC current flows into single-phase and three-phase bus bar, respectively. These results will be used as the basic design data when determining dimensions and materials for the current carrying conductor of EHV GIS.

  • This dissertation suggests and implements a middle level network which is called PICNET-NP (Plant Implementation and Control Network for Nuclear Power Plant). PICNET-NP is based partly on IEEE 802.4 token-passing bus access method and partly on IEEE 802.3 physical layer. For this purpose a new interface a physical layer service translator, is introduced. A control network using this method is implemented and applied to a distributed real-time system. To verify the performance of proposed protocol experimental were carried out, and the following results are obtained. 1) proper initialization of the protocol. 2) normal receiving and transmission of data. 3) proper switching of transmission media in case of a fault condition on the one of transmission media. The proposed protocol exhibits the excellent performance in the experimental system. From the test results in the experimental system, the proposed protocol, PICNET-NP, can be used for the upgrading of a nuclear power plant and the distributed control system in the next generation of nuclear power plant.

  • Among the various types of waiting line systems, the elevator servicing system is quite different from the usual queueing system in view of the service characteristics. For example, the FIFO discipline is not always valid depending upon the situation when the direction of first-come customer's is opposite of the operating elevator direction and at that time a later-arrived one has a luck to be served first. In this paper, a simulation model is constructed and tested by the sample data and the results have turned out to be fairly adequate. This model, therefore, will provide a good guide to anyone who is interested in the decision of optimal location selection of no-passenger elevator in high buildings whatsoever. This model is also available, with slight modification, to the problem of city bus dispatching or any other waiting line problems where the servicing equipments are moving.

  • A distributed real-time system that is being used now is usually divided into three level : higher level, middle level, and lower level. The higher level network is usually called an information network, the middle level is called a control network, and the lower level is called a field network or a divice network.   • The Incheon International Airport Express(I'Rex) is the railroad that connects Incheon International Airport, Gimpo Airport and Seoul Station. I'Rex is now under construction, and it will be connected to Gimpo Airport by 2007, to Seoul Station by 2010. However, there has been no discussion on how th connect different routes of railway Systems. Therefore it seems likely that rail passenger demand will be lower than that of limousine bus. Therefor, this paper proposes 4 effective connecting methods for I'Rex - (1) Shuttle transport, (2) Short-distance connecting transport (Inside I'Rex, Seoul Subway Line 9, 'Han-River line') (3) Mid-distance connecting transport (Jung-ang, Tae-baek, Young-dong line) (4) Long-distance connecting transport (Korean Train Express (Korean high speed railroad)) These methods can increase the connectivity of I'Rex with existing railroads and the competition power of I'Rex against a highway.

  • Legacy utilities can not adapt to changing business conditions without having complete control of operational systems and a flexible infrastructure that supports change. What is needed is a framework that enables data to be coalesced and transformed in to usable knowledge. This framework should be robust enough to that as new situations arise, information can be shared in ways not previously anticipated. Utility Integration Bus (UIB) provides an integration framework which solves many of these issues while controlling complexity. This paper provides UIB's overview and course.

  • As using of network Increases rapidly, performance of system has been deteriorating because of the overhead and bottleneck. Nowadays, high speed I/O network standard, that is a sort of InfiniBand, PCI Express and so on, has come out to improve the limites of traditional I/O bus. The InfiniBand provides some protocols to service the applications such as SDP, SRP and IPoIB. In our paper, We explain the architecture of SDP(Socket Direct Protocol) and its features in channel based I/O network. And so, we provide a result of performance evaluation of SDP which is compared with current network protocol. Our experimental results also show that SDP is better than TCP/IP protocol.
