담배 연기중(煙氣中)의 유해물감소(有害物減少)에 관한 연구(硏究)[제이보(第二報)] -용매추출(溶妹抽出)의 영향(影響)- (A Study on the Reduction of Harmful Compound in Cigarette Smoke [Part II] -Influence of solvont extraction-)

  • 담배향기성분에는 영향을 미치지 않고 엽중(葉中)의 nicotine이 용매추출(溶媒抽出)로서 제거되는 효과를 규명하고 연기중의 tar, nicotine함량(含量) 및 무처리(無處理)와 처리(處理) 담배에 대한 이화학성(理化學性)을 시험하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1) 3%알콜추출로 황색종잎담배의 전질소함량은 36.4%가 감소(減少)되었고 당(糖)은 감소(減少)되지 않았다. 2) 용액의 침지시간이 길수록 엽중(葉中)이 nicotine함량(含量)은 감소(減少)되었고 산성용액이나 알칼리성용액을 첨가한 용액에서도 대체로 같은 결과를 얻었다. 3) 열중량분석(DTG)골선은 담배성분중 $150^{\circ}{\sim}350^{\circ}C$에서 분해(分解)되거나 휘발되는 성분이 추출되었음을 나타냈다. 4) 3% 알콜용액 추출에서 (1) filling power는 황색종과 burley 각각 10%와 24%의 개선효과(改善效果)가 있었으며, (2) 연소성(燃燒性)은 burley와 황색종담배에 각각 3분과 2분이 단축되었으며, (3) nicotine의 감소율(減少率)은 burley와 황색종 담배에 각각 61.5%와 54.5%이었고, (4) tar의 감소율(減少率)은 burley와 황색종 담배에 각각 23%와 15%이였다.

근적외선분광법을 이용한 버어리 토스트엽의 화학성분 분석 (Determination of Chemical Composition of Toasted Burley Tobacco by Near Infrared Spectroscopy)

  • This study was conducted to develop the most precise NIR(near infrared spectrometric) calibration for rapid determination of chemical composition in ground samples of toasted burley tobacco using stepwise, stepup, principal component regression(PCR), partial least square(PLS) and modified partial least square(MPLS) calibration method. The number of wavelength(W) selected by stepup multiple linear regression using: second derivative spectra was as follows: total sugar(TS)-4 W, nicotine-9 W, total nitrogen(TN)-2 W, ash-8 W, total volatile base(TVB)-5 W, chlorine4 W, L of color-6 W, a of color-6 W and b of color-7 W. Comparing the calibration equations followed by each chemical components, the most precise calibration equation was MPLS for 75, a and b of color, PLS for nicotine, ash, TVB, chlorine and L of color and stepup for TN. The standard error of calibration(SEC) and standard error of performance(SEP) between result of near infrared analysis and standard laboratory analysis were 0.18, 0.40% for 75, 0.06, 0.08% for nicotine, 0.18, 0.16% for TN, 0.33, 0.46% for ash, 0.04, 0.03% for TVB, 0.08, 0.06% for chlorine, 0.54, 0.58 for L of color, 0.22, 0.22 for a of color and 0.27, 0.27 for b of color, respectively. The SEC and SEP of ash and TVB were within allowable error of standard laboratory analysis, nicotine, TN and chlorine were 1.2-2.0 times and 75 were 2.1-4.0 times larger than allowable error of standard laboratory analysis. The ratio of SEC and SEP to mean were 1.5, 1.6% for L of color, 3.7, 3.8% for a of color and 1.8, 1.8% for b of color, respectively. Key words : burley tobacco chemistry, near infrared spectroscopy.

석회 시용이 Burley종 담배의 수량과 화학성분에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Lime application on Yield and Chemical composition of Burley tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum L.) in pot experiment.)

  • Pot experiment was conducted to find out the effect of lime application on yield and chemical composition of burley tobacco in 1986, Lime increased exchangeable calcium and pH of soil, but decreased Al, Fe and Mn concentrations. Yield was increased by lime application, however lime could not be caused to yield increasing in the soil with high calcium contents. Cored leaves of limed Plot contained higher Mg. K, total nitrogen, NO3-nitrogen, water soluble and insoluble ash, alkalinity number of water soluble and insoluble ash, citric and malic acid, but lower Fe, Mn, protein-nitrogen, NH3-nitrogen, nicotine petroleum ether extract, palmitic and linolenic acid concentrations than those of unlined plot. The linoleic acid and volatile neutral constituents of cured leaves were not affected by liming. Lime increased yield, however it did not affect leaf duality in respect to chemical characteristics, suggesting that liming should be necessary for tobacco cultivation.

  • The effects of liquid sugar and sucrose on several characteristic of tobacco leaves, there combustibility and harmful compound in smoke were examined. results obtained were as follows. 1) Nicotine and total nitrogen content of tobacco leaves were reduced by sugars added to tobacco. 2) Nicotine and tar transfered to smoke were reduced by 4% sugars added to burley tobacco but not reduced by sugars added to hicks. 3) pH of smoke was reduced by sugars added but pH of tobacco shreds not reduced by sugars added. 4) The filling capacity and combustibility (S. B. R.) of tobacco shreds were increased by sugars treated. 5) Nitrogen oxides transfered to smoke was reduce by sugars treated but phenols transfered was not reduce by sugar treated. 6) The capacities of moisture absorption and retention was increased by sugars treated.

Burley종 연초의 칼슘결핍엽 발생원인 (The Cause of Calcium Deficient leaf of Burley Tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum L.))

  • Field experiment was conducted to find out the cause of calcium deficiency of burley tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum L.), Liming materials and application rate were CaSO4 : Ca 35kg/10a, CaCO3 : 35kg/10a and agricultural lime : Ca 142kg/10a. The breakdown in tissues at tips and margins of upper leaves was developed at maximum growth stage. If complete breakdown and death does not occur and growth takes place later, giving the leaf a scalloped appearance. Upper leaves contained lower calcium content than other leaves. The stem and midvein of calcium deficient plants contained lower calcium and calcium minus oxalic acid, but higher oxalic acid contents than those of normal plant. Fresh leaves of limed plot contained higher calcium and oxalic acid, but not significant increment of calcium minus oxalic acid than those of unlimed plot. Since calcium oxalate is insoluble, it could precipitate within the culls if the calcium and oxalic acid are accessible to each other. It suggest that high level of oxalic acid in stem and midvein could be interfering with translocation of calcium to upper leaves.

  • 버얼리종 담배에서 추출물에서 얻은 peroxidase와 다중벽 탄소 나노튜브를 이용한 dopamine 정량 바이오센서를 만들었다. Peroxidase는 dopamine을 dopamine quinone으로 산화시키는 반응의 촉매 역할을 한다. 이 논문은 효소의 농도, pH와 같은 바이오센서의 감응에 영향을 주는 parameter를 조사하였다. 또한, 전극의 감도, 직선성의 범위, 전극의 안정성을 조사하였다. 본 실험에 사용한 dopamine의 정량 센서는 pH 6.50, 0.010 M 인산 완충용액, -0.15 V의 가해준 전압에서 가장 좋은 감응을 나타내었다. 전극의 검출한계(S/N =3)는 2.7×10−6 M이었으며, 5.0×10−2 M dopamine을 이용하여 10회 반복 측정한 상대표준편차는 1.3%이었다.

인삼근 신아의 암하생육에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Temperature on Growth of new Shoot in Panax ginseng under Dark)

  • New shoot growth of Panax ginseng root was investigated comparing with burley and soybean from l0$^{\circ}C$ to 30$^{\circ}C$ under dark. Shoot growth ceased by 12days at 30$^{\circ}C$ and optimum temperature appeared to be 15$^{\circ}C$/20$^{\circ}C$ (15hrs/9 hrs) , and 15$^{\circ}C$/15$^{\circ}C$ for ginseng. Shoot growth seems to be Poor below l0$^{\circ}C$. Temperature for maximum growth 20$^{\circ}C$/20$^{\circ}C$ for barley and 20$^{\circ}C$ /25$^{\circ}C$ for soybean. Barley did not germinate above 25$^{\circ}C$/25$^{\circ}C$, but grow better than soybean below 15$^{\circ}C$/25$^{\circ}C$. Fresh weight of 2 weeks suggesting cessation of water uptake at higher temporal use. Ginseng showed greater root ply s shoot of ginseng was linearly increased at 15$^{\circ}C$ but did not increased at 25$^{\circ}C$ after occurence of die-back of new shoot or root rot above 25$^{\circ}C$.

제조(製造)담배중 흡습성분(吸濕成分)과 평형수분(平衡水分) 연구(硏究) (The Influence of the Hygroscopic Components in the Cigarettes on the Sorption of Moisture)

  • 시판(市販)되고 있는 국산(國産)담배와 외산(外産)담배 각각(各各) 3종(種)을 대상(對相)으로 담배각초(刻草)의 평형수분(平衡水分), 전당(全糖) 및 수추출물(水抽出物)등을 분석(分析)하여 측정(測定)하여 얻은 결과(結果)를 요약(要約)하면 다음과 같다. 1. 담배의 평형수분(平衡水分)은 국산(國産)담배가 외산(外産)담배에 비하여 높다. RH80%에서 24시간(時間) 보존(保存) 후(後)에 함수분(含水分)은 SOL은 Y.S.L보다 3.3%, EUNHASU는 Marlboro(L) 보다 2.4%가 높았다. 2. 제조(製造)담배의 온습도별 함수분(含水分) 변화(變化)의 경우(境遇), 국내외산(國內外産) 제조(製造)담배의 흡습속도(吸濕速度)는 국산(國産)담배가 외산(外産)담배에 비(比)하여 빨랐다. 3. 담배 각초(刻草)의 수추출물(水抽出物)에 따른 상대습도별(相對濕度別) 평형수분(平衡水分)은 국산(國産)담배는 외산(外産)담배에 비(比)하여 높았다. 4. 담배 각초(刻草)의 전당함량(全糖含量)이 상대습도(相對濕度)에 따른 담배 평형수분(平衡水分)은 국산(國産)담배가 외산(外産)담배에 비(比)하여 높았다. 이와 같은 국산(國産)담배가 평형수분(平衡水分)이 높고, 흡습속도(吸濕速度)가 빠른 것은 국산(國産)담배가 황색종(黃色種)이 많이 배합(配合)되어 있는 반면(反面) 외산(外産)담배는 버어리엽(葉)이 다량배합(多量配合)되어 있는 결과(結果)라고 추정(推定)된다.
