패션브랜드 유형에 따른 상품속성, 브랜드 인지의 차이 (The Difference of Goods Attribute, Brand Awareness by Fashion Brand Type)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the differences among goods attribute and brand awareness on fashion brand type. we were intended to suggest characteristics of each consumer group by identifying the differences of consumers' purchasing activities. 672 of consumers by brand who frequently purchase casual brand were chosen for the analysis according to common brand classification of national brand, private brand and no brand. For the purpose of data analysis, we performed factorial analysis of measuring tools and credibility test. Concerning the differences of goods attribute, brand awareness by brand type, MANOVA, ANOVA was employed, complimented with Sheffe-test as a post hoc test in case of occurrence of any differences by group. The findings from the analysis are described in the following. Regarding goods attribute by fashion brand type, there existed a significant difference between brand types in all the sub factors of goods attribute such as product attribute, shop attribute, and price attribute. Especially, the difference of product attribute is much more significant in the areas of material suitableness, product assortment, aesthetic expression, size & quality, clothing maintenance, and clothing comfortableness. In case of shop attribute, there was a significant difference between groups in all the factors such as shop environment, convenience of shopping, sales promotion, service quality of sales clerk, location, and shop reputation. Concerning price attribute, we found a significant difference between groups in the factors of price value, price reasonableness, price information, and economical efficiency of price. As for the difference of brand awareness by brand type, among other factors, brand value had a difference between groups; that is, private brand was found to obtain the highest brand value awareness.

커피전문점의 VMD 구성요인이 브랜드자산과 재구매의도에 미치는 영향 (An Influence of VMD configuration factors of Coffee shops on Brand equity and Repurchase intention)

  • Purpose - This study identifies relationships amongst repurchase intentions, brand equity, and preference by applying VMD of fashion retail stores. The results would help coffee shop owners and coffee makers in devising an appropriate strategy for successfully managing coffee shops. Research design, data, methodology - The VMD model of a coffee shop includes harmony, trend, and attractiveness, while brand equity encompasses brand awareness, perceived quality, and brand image. In this study, the VMD factors of coffee shops, brand equity, and brand preference, are shown as independent variables, while repurchase intention is shown as the dependent variable. The study aims to ascertain the extent of the influence configuration factors of a coffee shop have on brand equity, brand preference, and repurchase intention. Regression analysis was used to verify the mediating effects of brand preference on brand equity and repurchase intention. The measurement items were already deemed as reliable and valid in the previous study, but some modifications were made for the purposes of this study. Questionnaires were distributed to 550 consumers on a national scale, and 517 consumers amongst these were finally used as a sample for analysis using the SPSS 17.0 statistical program. Results - First, amongst the VMD configuration factors of a coffee shop, trend, and attractiveness have a positive impact on brand equity (brand awareness, perceived quality, and brand image). Second, brand equity has a positive effect on brand preference. Third, brand preference has a positive effect on repurchase intention. Fourth, brand preference plays the role of a mediator in measuring the impact of brand awareness and brand image on customers' repurchase intentions. Conclusions - The theoretical implications can be summarized as follows. First, this study proposes a theoretical basis that can be adapted to the VMD configuration factors of a coffee shop by identifying the relationship between brand equity and coffee shops. This study applies the VMD factors to the coffee shops and presents a new research model by examining the relationships amongst VMD components of coffee shops: brand equity, brand preference, and repurchase intention. Second, it clearly establishes the relationship between brand equity and brand preference by identifying the mediating effects of brand preference, given that brand equity has a positive impact on repurchase intention. The practical implications are as follows. First, development of brand equity and management can be important components for coffee shops in determining that the VMD configuration factors of coffee shops have an impact on brand equity. Second, amongst the VMD configuration factors, attractiveness and trend have a positive influence on choosing coffee shops, therefore store atmosphere should be attractively designed, while the menu and interiors should complement each other and be reviewed periodically to conform to the latest trend. Third, VMD configuration factors that are confirmed are not easily changed. Fourth, large franchises and foreign companies have strengths in scale, locations, and brand. Fifth, the different ways of campaigning should be compared to those of large franchises and foreign companies in order to increase brand equity using VMD configuration factors.

지각된 커피전문점 브랜드 효익이 브랜드 신뢰와 지속적 구매의도에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Consumers' Perceived Brand Benefits of Coffee Shops on Brand Trust and Continuous Purchase Intention)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of consumers' perceived brand benefits toward brand coffee shops on continuous purchase intentions as well as the mediating effect of brand trust. The survey was conducted on coffee consumers aged 20~40 years living in Seoul and who visited brand coffee shops exposed as product placement (PPL) in TV dramas. Out of 400 questionnaires distributed to consumers, 381 questionnaires (95.3%) were analyzed. Consumers were more interested in places (60.1%) than the products (39.9%) of the coffee shops exposed as PPL. Over half (54.6%) of the respondents showed a positive attitude towards coffee shop PPLs. All three brand benefits perceived by consumers (functional, symbolic, and empirical) had significant positive effects on brand trust and continuous purchase intention. In particular, symbolic benefit has the greatest impact on continuous purchase intention towards the brand. Brand trust had a mediating effect between perceived brand benefits and continuous purchase intentions. Therefore, it is necessary to focus on enhancing the perceived symbolic benefit of the brand to effectively maintain customer relationships. The results suggest that when planning positioning concepts, considering the importance of brand benefits is the best way to increase the competitiveness of coffee shop brands.

화장품 판매공간 디자인의 브랜드 인지도와 이미지의 관계성에 관한 연구 - 명동 지역 화장품 로드 숍을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Relationship between Brand Awareness and Image in Cosmetic Sales Space Design - Focusing on the Cosmetic Road Shop in Myeongdong -)

  • Recently, cosmetic shops are facing a complicate economy situation and a great number of brands are attempting two-way communication with customers, not one-way communication. 'Brand' equity is important to deliver virtual brand mark as visual image. We have 4 steps for brand identity structure, and this study is about the first 'brand-awareness' and the second step 'brand-image'. We investigated the correlation between brand-awareness and brand-image after searching which spatial elements are highly effective to both steps as we designated 5 cosmetic shops. We already organized the means of spatial analysis and we separated into two elements, constructive and decorative. For constructive element, a shop needs a distinct ceiling and wall design, and for decorative element, strong brand image communication is required through showcase design. We proved that brand awareness and brand image have the correlation, which also can be in direct proportion, by regression analysis. The result of this study shows that improving brand awareness as the primary element for cosmetic road shop can be an effective way to enhance brand image.

부산지역 대학생의 프랜차이즈 커피전문점 선택속성에 따른 IPA분석 (IPA Analysis according to the Attributes of the Franchise Coffee Shop Selection of College Students in Busan)

  • The aim of this study was to provide strategic implications for the coffee market in which competition got severer through IPA analysis based on the attributes of selection of a specialized franchise coffee shop. The results of a positive analysis conducted with undergraduates in their twenties were as follows: According to the evaluation of the importance of the attributes of selection of a specialized coffee shop, the most important were 'cleanliness and hygienic facilities inside the shop (6.09)' and 'taste and quality of the menu (coffee) (6.09)'. According to the performance analysis, those showing the highest performance were 'brand image (4.92)' and 'cleanliness and hygienic facilities inside the shop (4.92)'. According to the result of IPA analysis, what customers regarded as being the most important were 'taste and quality of the menu (coffee)', 'kindness of the staff', and 'cleanliness and hygienic facilities inside the shop', and, in fact, they showed great performances as well. However, 'price of the menu (coffee)' was regarded as being important but did not indicate a great performance; therefore, they showed dissatisfaction with it. Although they did not think 'environment around the shop', 'brand image', 'brand recognition' or 'interior size and scale of the shop' were important, the attributes did not appear to show great performances. Therefore, we need constant maintenance strate gies regarding the fact that consumers are considered to be very important for evaluation, and should make efforts to change the price in advance.

  • A cosmetic shop in a department store is the best place in Korea's cosmetic market flow that shows the total image of each brand. The present day departmental cosmetic shops are centered around global brands and comparative brand power is competing with a small number of local brands. It is a fact that not only regarding the brand power of local brands but also the space design of their shops are different than the global brands. And, influenced by a modern society, culture, economic surrounding, the customers are getting original and individual. Their individualistic life style is demanding a shop environment with new concept. Such a sale environment is not for just product sale and a place where exchange economy of sale occurs. It is requisite for communication where total marketing strategy Is used In an active way. We must acknowledge it as a symbolic place being the ultimate site of customer oriented exchange economy showing the image of both product and the company. The aim of this plan is to set up a sale environment that will enhance the brand awareness and product value. We intended to provide purchase comfort and visual effect to the customer simultaneously with an Increase in customer attention by putting in the appropriate design requisites as per the brand specialty and by the application of a distinguished S.I.P (Store Identity Program) for the shop.

성인여성의 쇼핑성향과 샵마스터의 태도에 대한 반응 연구 (A Study on Adult Women′s Clothing Shopping Orientation and Response to the Shop-master s Attitude)

  • The study is designed to classify consumer groups based on their clothing shopping orientation and to examine the relationship among clothing shopping orientation, satisfaction to the shop-master, and factors of the shop-master's nature to understand clothing shopping orientation of women from 18 to 35. The final analysis was performed with 447 (consumers) ailed 336 (shop-masters) pieces of questionnaire. The data was analysed with SAS statistics package. The results of this study are as follows : 1. Clothing shopping orientation were composed of four dimensions : recreational shopping orientation, convenience/economic shopping orientation, store/brand loyalty shopping orientation, and shopping confidence. 2. In the satisfaction to the shop-master, the consumer was not satisfied by the appearance, product-presentation, and consumer-management of the shop-master but kindness, trust, and product-explanation by the shop-master. The shop-master guessed that consumers were completely satisfied. 3. The consumer had an influence on product-understanding, response, and consumer-understanding of the shop-master, and the shop-master guessed that consumers had an influence on every thing of shop-master. 4. The more consumers were store/brand loyal, the more they were satisfied with tole shop-master, and had an influence on the factors of the shop-master's nature. But consumers were confident on the shopping, were not shown to be significantly different in the satisfaction of the shop-master and the factors of the shop-master's nature.

  • The $21^{st}$ century is the age of sentiment and image. As industrial development pushes the demands of consumers for various goods, the marketing patterns of these goods have individualized. They are expressions embedded with various meanings. Retail shops, now going beyond the practical purpose of display and sales of goods, enhancing brand images and establishing a consumer-oriented strategy, play a key role in reacting to and creating overall cultural issues. This study will analyze and investigate the Prada retail shop, which has distinguished its brand image and effectively promoted its identity through a sustained management strategy. The Prada retail shop has established an image of a cultural icon through cultural marketing. It suggests individuality and creativity along with diversity It reflects the basic concepts of cultural marketing, freedom of expression combined with information and high technology. The Prada building symbolizes the brand itself. To foster these kinds of retail shops, data and information based on continuous studies must be provided and shared, and also the systematic reinterpretation and the effective presentation of expressive trends in interior design needs to be studied on an ongoing basis.

  • 본 연구에서는 수도권과 수도권이외 지역 커피전문점의 브랜드이미지와 브랜드충성도 간 신뢰와 관계몰입의 매개효과를 확인하였다. 이를 위하여 커피전문점을 이용해 본 경험이 있는 수도권 거주 고객 125명, 수도권이외 지역 거주 고객 139명을 대상으로 설문지 조사를 하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 커피전문점의 신뢰는 브랜드이미지와 관계몰입 간에서 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 관계몰입은 신뢰와 브랜드충성도 간에서 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 신뢰와 관계몰입은 브랜드이미지와 브랜드충성도 간에서 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다.

안경원 브랜드의 디자인아이덴티티에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design Identity of Optical Shop Brands)

  • 목적: 안경원 브랜드의 디자인아이덴티티 시각 요소들의 분석을 통해 안경원의 브랜드 디자인 개발에 필요한 객관적인 자료로 활용하고자 하였다. 방법: 안경원의 브랜드 디자인아이덴티티 개념을 살펴보고 국내 프랜차이즈 안경원의 상징물, 심벌마크의 형태와 로고타입의 표현 스타일, 색상 활용도, 캐릭터 사용 여부 등을 중심으로 브랜드 디자인아이덴티티의 시각 요소들을 분석하였다. 결과: 안경과 눈, 얼굴과 홍채 같은 안경과 관련된 직접적인 상징물이 많았고 글자와 도형도 나타났다. 심벌 유형으로는 대부분이 구상형과 워드마크 형태의 디자인이 많았고 워드마크형에는 국문보다 영문이 많이 사용되었다. 로고타입 형식은 고딕체 형식이 주류를 이루었고 획의 굵기는 보통과 두꺼운 볼드체가 고루 사용되는 것으로 나타났다. 안경원 브랜드 디자인에서 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 색상 도수는 2도 조합 사용이 대부분이었고 색상 사용 빈도로는 검정과 빨강이 많았는데 심벌이나 로고타입의 전용 색상에는 검정과 함께 주황도 많이 나타났다. 캐릭터는 일부 안경원에서만 사용하고 있고 대부분 동물 소재로 표현은 만화와 그래픽 형식이었다. 결론: 상징물, 심벌마크와 로고타입, 색상, 캐릭터는 브랜드 디자인아이덴티티 기본 개발 시스템이다. 안경원 브랜드의 중요한 시각적 구성요소로 상호간 일관성이 있으면서 기능과 역할을 분명히 할 수 있는 체계적인 디자인이 되어야 한다.
