섬유송출 유압구동부 급제동시 발생하는 충격상승압 흡수장치에 관한 연구 (A Study on Absorption Device of Surge Rising Pressure Occurring when Suddenly Braking Action in the Hydraulic Driving Part of Textiles Let off)

  • The equipment of textiles let off is a part of inspection machine which inspects finished textiles and it checks up textiles through that. This study suggests a method to select the capacity and initial gas pressure of accumulator to control surge rising pressure occurring when suddenly braking action to a desired degree. An accumulator in hydraulic systems is by hydraulic machinery which stores kinetic energy of inertia body during braking. A series of computer simulations were done for the brake action The results of the simulation work were compared with those of experiments.

  • According to the needs of change to hybrid, fuel cell and electric vehicle, and to the increasing demand for safety and eco-friendliness, the necessity of Electro-Mechanical Brake(EMB) is being increased. But, one of the most important problems for realizing EMB to the practical use is that the required motor power for braking is too high. So the high braking efficient EMB is required. In recent years, the Electronic Wedge Brake(EWB) is noticeable for the high braking efficiency. In this research, we examine the improvable matter of the recent published EWB, and we propose the improved mechanism and the cost effective control method using this mechanism. And we test these feasibility by experiment and discuss these meaning and effect.

  • 본 논문은 부하에 대한 빠른 응답특성을 보이는 새로운 토폴로지를 제안하였다. PI제어기 출력이 포화될 때 windup 현상이 나타나고 그 결과로 성능이 저하된다. 따라서 전동기의 가변속 제어성능을 위해 가속시에는 개선된 Anti-windup PI제어기만을 사용하고, 감속시에는 추가로 부하의 특성을 고려하여 braking 동작을 사용하였다. 시뮬레이션 및 실험결과는 속도성능면에서 제안된 방식이 종래의 다른 제어방식에 비해 우수함을 보여 준다.

  • It requires to study on accurate control skill for the technical improvement of servo system require. It needs to study on brake that has constant-torque speed range as load. In this paper, braking torque of eddy current brake between electromagnet stator and rotating disk are analyzed. The torque-speed characteristics and proper disk construction are presented in here. From the computer simulation results, it was found that eddy current braking torque is linear or approximately constant over the desired speed range depending on the rotor material, disk construction, pole number and pole displacement of stator, these are confirmed by experimental results.

  • In this paper, we studied for performance of traction and braking for on-line test and evaluation of korean high speed rail vehicle. It is composed of 6 DAMs(Data Acquisition Modules), 2 monitoring modules and 1 main computer. The software should set and control the hardware of the measuring system, perform the analysis and calculation of measuring data and interface between users and the measuring system. As a result, It has been shown a good performance of traction and braking for test vehicle.

  • In general, the wheel-skid prevention of braking system is very important in modern railway applications. This is because wheel-skid can lead to an increase in noise and vibration from wheels with flat points, as well as an increased braking distance. However conventional anti-skid control has problems because wheel adhension and skid characteristics are very difficult nonlinear systems and time consuming to accurately model. In this paper, we design a fuzzy controller using a model of relation between ahdension and braking force, we show that anti-skid fuzzy controller has a very good performance, performing better than the previous conventional controller.

  • The brake systems of high-speed train are to be equipped with three different brake systems, such as regenerative brake with regenerative feedback in driving car, a pneumatic disc brake, and non-contact linear eddy-current brake(ECB). The regenerative brake and the pneumatic disc brake are acting on the wheels. Their achievable braking force depends on the adhesive coefficient, which is influenced by the weather condition and speed, between the wheel and The linear eddy current brake gets an economical solution in the high-speed train because of the independence of the adhesive coefficient, no maintenance needed. and the good control characteristics. The braking force and the normal force of ECB for korean high-speed train are analysed by the 2D FEM(Finite Element Method). Finally the normal force is compared with the experiential values to verify the analysis.

ATP시스템의 안전제동거리에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Safety Braking Distance in ATP System)

  • ATP(Automatic Train Protection) system in railroad signalling system is on-board signalling system which is controlled by train control information such as location and speed of trains. Safety is ensured by transmitting the train control information between on-board and wayside device in the ATP system. When an engineer disregards the speed limit on a tachometer, the train is automatically stopped by the on-board device. Recently, the studies of increasing speed of the train have been developed. Eurobalise in ERTMS/ETCS system is used in case that speed of trains is up to 500[km/h]. A study of safety braking distance is needed by increasing the speed of train in the ATP system. Train data and track data are required to calculate the safety braking distance. The train data includes formations of trains, length of trains, service brake and emergency brake etc. Also, the track data includes slope of track, curve of track, length of track, speed limit etc. In this paper, the speed profile is computed by analyzing the train and track data in the ATP system. It is demonstrated by applying to subway line 2 in Seoulmetro through the on-site test.

  • The general control method for Anti-lock Brake System(ABS) is that the wheel slip ratio is observed and the braking force is controlled in real time in order to keep the wheel slip ratio under the value of the best slip ratio. When a wheel runs on the state of the best slip ratio, the ground friction of the wheel approaches the highest value. The value of best slip ratio, theoretically, is known as the value between 10 and 20 % and it is dependant on the ground condition such as dry, wet and ice. It is an important parameter for the braking performance and affects the braking stability and efficiency. In this thesis, an experimental method is suggested, which is a reliable way to decide the best slip ratio through dynamo tests simulating aircraft taxiing conditions. The obtained best slip ratio is proved its validity by results of aircraft taxiing tests.

자동차 제동시 나타나는 Anti-Fading현상에 관한 연구 (Study of Anti-Fading Phenomena during Automotive Braking)

  • Two different friction materials (organic and low-metallic pads) for automotive brakes were studied to investigate the anti-fading phenomena during stop. The anti-fading phenomena were pronounced more in the case of using low metallic friction materials than organic friction materials. The main cause of the anti-fading phenomena was the high dependence of friction coefficient on a sliding speed. The anti-fading was prominent when the initial brake temperature was high in the case of low-metallic friction materials due to the strong stick-slip event at high temperature. On the other hand, the anti-fading was not severe in organic friction materials and the effect was reduced at high braking temperature due to the thermal decomposition of organic friction materials. The strong stickslip phenomena of low metallic friction materials at high temperature induced high torque oscillations during drag test. During this experiment two different braking control modes (pressure controlled and torque controlled modes) were compared. The type of the control mode used for brake test significantly affected the friction characteristics.
