This experimental study is the improvement of running stability for freight car. KNR (Korean National Railroad)'s conventional wagons, light bodies running on Barber style bogies with 5-1/$2{\times}10$ journals, would be considered fundamentally to be a most difficult car to control above 100km/h. From the results of experiment, to permit high speed operation safely, was realized with the resilient side bearing. Also, equipped with resilient side bearing, and elastowedge friction elements to eliminate bolster wedge pocket wear, KNR's wagons can be secure the running stability with lower maintenance requirements than current experience.

Purpose - Today's companies concentrate intensively on building consumer value and corporate reputation for continuing growth and advancement in an ever-changing global business management environment. This research intended to study the correlation between consumer value and corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities in building corporate reputation with consumers. Research design, data, and methodology - Online and offline surveys were conducted among male and female adults across Korea. Surveys were conducted for three weeks from August 21, 2018 to September 8, 2018. The samples consisted of 350 offline and 112 online surveys, and a combined total of 462 samples was used for final analysis. Result - Higher consumer value means a greater chance that consumers will select that company's products over those of competitors. For competitive advantage purposes, companies use various consumer management strategies to bolster consumer value and corporate reputation with consumers. Conclusions - Brand assets are subject to ethical responsibility, which is a dimension of corporate social responsibility. Of note, one relevant finding about brand assets (similar to findings in previous research) is the existence of confusion about brand recognition and brand image as perceived by customers.

This study presents parametric studies for design of a tilting mechanism to be used in 180km/h tilting train. The tilling mechanism is composed of 4 links, a lilting bolster old an electro-mechanical actuator. The movements of the tiling center, CG of the train body, coupler center and tilting actuator along variation of upper and lower span length have been verified by the kinematic analysis. Moreover, the inclination angle and the stroke of the tilting actuator according to the variation of the tilting angle from +8 degrees to -8 degrees have been investigated. From this study, the relation between the movements of the CG of the train body, coupler center and tilting actuator and the height of the tilting center could be evaluated.

The purpose of this study is to investigate two components of commitment(affective commitment and calculative commitment) and relational equity on loyalty. In addition, The authors analyzed the moderating effect of length of relationship on the effects of commitments and relational equity on switching intention. Major findings can be summarized as follows. It was found that affective commitment made a negative impact on switching intentions and a positive impact on w-o-m. Calculative commitment had no effect on switching intention and w-o-m while it made a negative effect on w-o-m in handset side only. Relational equity appears to bolster a negative effect on switching intention and a positive effect on w-o-m. Also length of relationship seems to moderate the effect of relational equity on switching intention.

Although the WTO has fulfilled several key tasks it was set up to do - providing periodic reviews of members' trade policies, resolving disputes, supporting negotiations - with the notable exceptions of the Trade Facilitation and Information Technology agreements, WTO members have not been able to negotiate new rules on "bread and butter" trade policies. The importance of doing so was illustrated by the COVID-19 pandemic which saw widespread uncoordinated recourse to trade policy instruments. This paper highlights four reforms that would bolster the effectiveness of the WTO as a forum for trade cooperation: (1) improving collection and reporting of information on trade-related policies; (2) supporting analysis-informed deliberation to establish a common understanding of the need and scope for cooperation in specific policy areas; (3) putting in place a stronger multilateral governance framework for plurilateral cooperation between groups of WTO members; and (4) reestablishing an effective dispute settlement system.

Animal symbols exert a profound influence on humans. This can be likened to homeopathic magic, with its source tied to the symbol. It has been believed that consuming an animal or crafting items from its parts would imbue humans with the creature's powers, thereby enhancing its symbolic significance over time. An animal can have various symbolic meanings, and among them, those related to healing have been adopted as folk remedies. Therefore, in this study, we would like to examine an example in which animals were used in folk therapy as a symbol of healing in traditional Korean medicine through "Donguibogam(東醫寶鑑)". In this context, 'healing' not only pertains to direct cures but also encompasses the use of amulets to fend off afflictions and bolster one's immunity. By looking at animals that have traditionally been used in folk remedies, it is possible to reaffirm the role of animals as healing symbols and to find ways to effectively use animal symbols to enhance the healing effect in the future by recognizing their value.

This research focuses on examining the mobilization of Public Procurement for Innovation (PPI) in South Korea as a case study in technology innovation. By using the lens of policy mobility and qualitative research methodologies, it emphasizes the circulation of PPI is an outcome of an assemblage of multiple actors who are responsible for the introduction of PPI. The Public Procurement Service in South Korea has actively sought to understand and adopt the concept of PPI from developed countries. This initiative has been localized under the umbrella of 'innovative technology and product.' Throughout the mobilization, a cadre of technocrats, the Innovation Procurement Competence Center plays a pivotal role, and particularly encourages Small and Medium Enterprises to bolster their export capabilities, resulting in a reciprocal circulation of policies and programs from South Korea to foreign countries as well as within intra-urban area. Consequently, the above findings, revealing the nuanced evolution of policy mobility in local contexts, hold practical significance as they provide valuable insights and lessons for urban studies.

Purpose: This study aimed to examine the predictive factors of COVID-19 vaccination behavior by evaluating the moderating effect of perceived behavioral control on the theory of planned behavior. Methods: Data were collected from August 6 to August 31, 2022 from 235 college students (aged 20~29 years) across 12 universities using a structured web-based survey. Statistical analyses were conducted using the SPSS and AMOS software. Results: Attitudes toward COVID-19 vaccination, subjective norms, and intention to be vaccinated significantly influenced COVID-19 vaccination behavior. Attitudes and subjective norms indirectly affected COVID-19 vaccination behavior through intention to vaccinate, whereas intention to vaccinate had a direct effect. The moderating effect of perceived behavioral control on the relationship between subjective norms and intention to vaccinate was significant. Conclusion: Interventions that foster a positive attitude toward COVID-19 vaccination and bolster subjective norms and perceived behavioral control can boost the intention to be vaccinated and facilitate the uptake of COVID-19 vaccination.

Cyberthreats and crimes have become common in society and demand the adoption of robust security measures. Financial cybercrimes, personal information breaches, and spam messages are now prevalent, while companies and nations face an increasing number of cyberthreats and attacks such as distributed denial of service, ransomware, and malware. As the overall socioeconomic landscape undergoes digitalization powered by big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence technologies, the importance of cybersecurity is expected to steadily increase. Developed nations are actively implementing various policies to strengthen cybersecurity and providing government support for research and development activities to bolster their domestic cybersecurity industries. In particular, the South Korean government has designated cybersecurity as one of the 12 nationwide strategic technology sectors. We examine the current landscape of cybersecurity companies and the information and communication technology supply chain, providing insights into the domestic cybersecurity market and suggesting implications for South Korea.

In the mid 1990s, the combination of vehicles and communication was expected to bolster the stagnant car industry by offering a flood of new revenues. In-vehicle computing systems provide safety and control systems needed to operate the vehicle as well as infotainment, edutainment, entertainment, and mobile commerce services in a safe and responsible manner. Since 1980 the word "telematics" has meant the blending of telecommunications and informatics. Lately, telematics has been used more and more to mean "automotive telematics" which use informatics and telecommunications to enhance the functionality of motor vehicles such as wireless data applications, intelligent cruise control, and GPS in vehicles. This definition identifies telecommunications transferring information as the key enabling technology to provide these advanced services. In this paper, a possible framework for future telematics, which called an Intelligent Vehicle Network(IVN), is proposed. The paper also introduces and compares a number of existing technologies and the terms of their capabilities to support a suite of services. The paper additionally the paper suggests and analyzes possible directions for future telematics from current telematics techniques.
