  • AI blockchain technology, which is attracting attention as a core technology of the 4th Industrial Revolution, is a technology that can be used as an important means of innovation not only in the current gaming industry but also in various industrial fields. This paper extracts the platforms and types of blockchain games currently ranked within the top 100 on the blockchain app (DApp) sites State Of The DApps, DApp.com, and Dapp Rader and introduces the top games on major platforms. As a result of extracting platforms and types, the top games were mainly based on Ethereum, EOS, and Steam. However, the results showed that there are significantly more games based on the Ethereum platform, which are stable, easy to apply, and have a low barrier to entry due to the large number of users and DApps. We plan to improve awareness of blockchain games by studying the characteristics that only blockchain games have.

  • The steady investment and development in the fourth industry led to the development of IoT technology, which led to the dissemination of platform-based blockchain technology that could provide the necessary security platform. BIoT, a blockchain-based IoT application, requires blockchain platform technology that provides more sophisticated security, scalability, and efficiency in order to be applied to more diverse fields in the future. In this paper, we analyze the recently announced smart contract ETH 2.0 to compare the requirements for existing BIoT development and to predict the future of BIoT in the future.

  • As technological development continues, platforms with more diverse structures are emerging. Existing research predicts that a new structure based on technology and innovation will affect the two-sided market. This study evaluated the decentralized identifier (DID) platform, a new platform based on blockchain technology, of the importance of this platform from the perspective of the two-sided market. Using the Analytic Network Process, IT, platform, and blockchain experts conducted a dual comparison survey. Data with a consistency ratio value of 0.1 or less were selected and analyzed for 12 data. The research results showed the importance of service quality, policy support, openness, and uncertainty. This study is expected to be used to support the development of strategic decision-making for blockchain and DID platform-based business companies.

  • With the growth of Internet-of-Things (IoT) technologies, the number of IoT devices developers need to manage has increased exponentially. Many IoT standards have been proposed to allow those devices to communicate efficiently in day-to-day tasks. However, we lack trusted interworking entities for devices from different standards to collaborate securely. This paper proposes a blockchain platform that bridges multiple heterogeneous IoT platforms to co-exist and interwork. Specifically, we designed an interworking proxy application entity (IPE) implemented as a chaincode in Hyperledger Fabric to collect and process data coming from/to oneM2M and LWM2M architecture. The use of blockchain will guarantee network reliability and data integrity so that cross-standard communications can be audited and processed securely. Based on our evaluation, we show that the interworking between oneM2M and LWM2M through our blockchain platform is feasible. Furthermore, the proposed system can process up to 206 transactions per second with 1,000 running applications, which is about an 87% increase from the previously referenced study.

  • In the 4th Industrial Revolution, the healthcare industry is undergoing a paradigm shift from post-care and management systems based on diagnosis and treatment to disease prevention and management based on personal precision medicine. To optimize medical services for individual patients, an open ecosystem for the healthcare industry that allows the exchange and utilization of personal health records (PHRs) is required. However, under the current system of hospital-centered data management, it is difficult to implement the linking and sharing of PHRs in practice. To address this problem, in this study, we present the design and implementation of a patient-centered PHR platform using blockchain technology. This platform achieved transparency and reliability in information management by eliminating the risk of leakage and tampering/altering personal information, which could occur when using a PHR. In addition, the patient-consent system was applied to a PHR; thus, the patient acted as the user with ownership. The proposed blockchain-based PHR platform enables the integration of personal medical information with scattered distribution across multiple hospitals, and allows patients to freely use their health records in their daily lives and emergencies. The proposed platform is expected to serve as a stepping stone for patient-centered healthcare data management and utilization.

  • This paper presents a new blockchain based donation platform combined with a type of gaming application. The proposed donation platform is similar to existing play-to-earn (P2E), but it has different characteristics such as non-liquidated token and direct transfer to a celebrity donation organization. Moreover, it has advantages like a robustness for counterfeiting and falsification as well as enhanced donating experience.

  • This paper proposes a method to protect the copyright of creators' content shared through an online sharing platform in a legal battle. When creators upload their independent creation content to the online sharing platform, it automatically upload information necessary for copyright effect to this system. The data warehouse of this system is as a private blockchain for to ensure non-repudiation and transparency of the information. We present that the data warehouse is to build as Hyperledger Fabric in this paper. And We present the transaction data structure of the blockchain to prevent orphan works. We also dealt with how to build a website where users can conveniently check the data (copyright related information) of this blockchain.

  • Since the announcement of the Financial Services Commission's 'Token Securities Issuance and Distribution System Improvement Plan' in February 2023, financial institutions, securities firms, and blockchain companies have been actively considering implementing IT platforms, but they are facing difficulties in selecting IT platforms for token securities because related legal regulations have not yet been clearly established. As a result, the need for rational and systematic criteria for the selection of blockchain-based token securities IT platforms has emerged, and this study explores and evaluates the key factors of token securities IT platform selection. Four factors were identified as the top-level factors, including 'maturity of the platform', 'operation and management of the platform', 'cost of introducing and maintaining the platform', and 'regulatory compliance for token securities', and 17 factors were identified as sub-level factors, including 'diversity', 'user authentication management', 'Adoption Costs', and 'financial regulations'. Among the 17 sub-factors, 'government financial regulation' and 'personal information protection' are selected as important factors, and the results of this study can help related organizations and financial companies make strategic decisions by providing systematic decision-making criteria for selecting token securities IT platforms.

  • Since the birth of the Ethereum in 2015, various decentralized applications (DApp) based on blockchain smart contract technology have appeared. However, CryptoKitty's case showed instability in terms of performance and scalability in real-world service environments. To solve this, a blockchain platform that developed a high transaction per second (TPS) has appeared, but there have been no environments and services to test it. Therefore, this paper intends to design and develop a game that can record the contents of all games on the chain and verify the performance and scalability of the blockchain platform through oversized transactions. The developed game generated a total of 6.3 million blocks and 8.9 million transactions through by 682 and verified the improved performance and scalability of the existing platform. Additionally, the maximum TPS was measured at 1,309 during the test period. In the future, it is expected that performance and scalability can be compared in a realistic environment through the method presented in this paper.

  • Purpose - In this study, we aimed to theorize blockchain-based social media platform users' commitment by examining the impact of their perceived justice of the token reward system. In addition, this study applied psychological ownership theory to verify the underlying mechanism between users' perceptions of justice and their commitment to the platforms. Research design, data, and methodology - To empirically test our conceptual framework in the study, we collected data through a web-based survey approach from the responses of 385 users who had experience with blockchain-based social media platforms. We employed a structural equation modeling approach to empirically test our proposed hypotheses. Result - The results indicated that distributive justice and informational justice have positive effects on user commitment. The results also showed that psychological ownership plays an important role in mediating the relationship between users' sense of distributive justice and commitment, and between procedural justice and commitment. The findings provided a better understanding of the sense of justice and user commitment in a blockchain-based social media environment. Conclusion - This study represents a preliminary attempt to theorize and empirically examine blockchain-based social media platform users' commitment. This study provided important contributions to the literature on how the effect of users' sense of justice in a reward system affects their commitment to blockchain-based social media platforms.
