  • 최근 IT기술의 발달로 코딩의 중요성은 부각되고 있다. 소프트웨어 코딩이란 주어진 문제 해결하는 능력으로써 논리적 사고력과 창의력을 키우며, 미래 인재 육성에 기여한다. 본 시스템은 코딩교육에 놀이를 정합하여 놀이 코딩 교육시스템이다. 영유아들은 블록을 통해 소근육 발달을 할 수 있으며, 블록의 움직임을 이용하여 프로그래밍되는 것을 확인한다. 본 시스템은 영유아들의 생각하는 힘을 키우는 알고리즘을 체계적으로 교육할 수 있으며, 영유아들은 즐거움, 몰입감, 성취감을 느낄 수 있다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 국가 수준의 종단 연구 자료인 한국아동패널 자료를 활용하여 유아가 선호하는 놀이영역을 예측하는 변인들의 관계를 탐색하여 유아의 놀이행동에 대한 이해를 증진시키고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 유아의 성을 통제변인으로 설정하고 창의성과 또래놀이행동이 유아의 놀이영역 선호에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아보았다. 본 연구에서 밝힌 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째 유아의 성에 따라 창의성, 또래놀이행동, 놀이영역 선호의 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 유아의 창의성과 또래놀이행동이 놀이영역 선호에 미치는 영향을 알아본 결과, 쌓기놀이영역 선호집단을 기준으로 할 때 언어영역, 미술영역, 수조작놀이영역, 역할놀이영역 선호에 영향을 미치는 요인은 다르게 나타났다. 본 연구는 유아의 놀이영역 선호에 영향을 미치는 변인들을 탐색하여 유아의 놀이행동을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고 있다는 점에서 시사하는 바가 크다.

어린이집 일과유형에 따른 보육실 흥미영역구성 특성 (The Characteristics of Spatial Configuration of Activity Areas in Classrooms According to the Types of Daily Routine in Child-Care Centers in South Korea)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the characteristics between the type of daily routine and spatial configuration of activity areas in classroom and provide alternatives for space planning of activity areas in classroom of child-care centers. This study used the content analysis on daily activity plan and floor plans through field survey. Analysis on floor plans was conducted for 35 classrooms in 9 child-care centers which allowed field survey. The results of this study were as follows; There was no significant difference for classroom size according to the type of daily routine in 3 to 5-year-old classrooms. The average size of classrooms was $61.6m^2$ for care oriented type, $41.4m^2$ for indoor activity oriented type and $48.8m^2$ for group activity oriented type. There was no significant difference in composition of activity areas in classrooms according to the type of daily routine. In case of 0 to 2-year-old classrooms, they were composed of 6 activity areas including gross-motor, role play, block building, language, creative expression, exploration/manipulation. Activity area of the most low frequency was gross-motor area. In case of 3 to 5-year-old classrooms, most classrooms were composed of all the 7 activity areas including art, tone and rhythmic, block building, role play, language, math and science. Most accessible and central areas in 0 to 2-year-old classrooms were gross-motor and role play. Also, most separate areas were exploration/manipulation and block building. Most accessible and central areas in 3 to 5-year-old classroom were art and math. Also, most separate areas were tone and rhythmic and science.

유압펌프용 실린더 블록의 윤활 및 동특성 해석 (Analysis of Lubrication and Dynamic Characteristics of a Cylinder Block for Hydraulic Pump)

  • Lubrication characteristics between a cylinder block and a valve plate for high speed bent-axis type hydraulic pump play an important role in volumetric efficiency and durability of pump. In this paper, a finite element method is presented for the computation of the pressure distribution between a cylinder block and a valve plate for high speed bent-axis type hydraulic pump. Also, a Runge-Kutta method is applied to simulate the cylinder block dynamics of three-degrees of freedom motion. From the results of computation, we can draw two major conclusions. One is related to the fluid film characteristics between a cylinder block and a valve plate and the other is related to the average leakage that is determined by the pressure gradient and the clearance near the discharge port. The numerical results of cylinder block dynamics were compared with the experimental results using eddy-current type gap sensors those are fixed at a pump housing.

Bitcoin Cryptocurrency: Its Cryptographic Weaknesses and Remedies

  • Bitcoin (BTC) is a type of cryptocurrency that supports transaction/payment of virtual money between BTC users without the presence of a central authority or any third party like bank. It uses some cryptographic techniques namely public- and private-keys, digital signature and cryptographic-hash functions, and they are used for making secure transactions and maintaining distributed public ledger called blockchain. In BTC system, each transaction signed by sender is broadcasted over the P2P (Peer-to-Peer) Bitcoin network and a set of such transactions collected over a period is hashed together with the previous block/other values to form a block known as candidate block, where the first block known as genesis-block was created independently. Before a candidate block to be the part of existing blockchain (chaining of blocks), a computation-intensive hard problem needs to be solved. A number of miners try to solve it and a winner earns some BTCs as inspiration. The miners have high computing and hardware resources, and they play key roles in BTC for blockchain formation. This paper mainly analyses the underlying cryptographic techniques, identifies some weaknesses and proposes their enhancements. For these, two modifications of BTC are suggested ― (i) All BTC users must use digital certificates for their authentication and (ii) Winning miner must give signature on the compressed data of a block for authentication of public blocks/blockchain.

아파트내 어린이 놀이터 포장재의 선호도에 관한 연구 - 전주시를 중심으로 - (A Study on Preference of Pavement Materials for Children's outing Playground in Apartment Complex - With Focus on Jeonju City -)

  • In this study this writer carried out survey and analysis on paving materials of children's playground for 40 apartment buildings with each of such apartment containing 100 households or more and which were built within last 15 years in Jeonju. As a result of analysis of such questionnaires this author could draw following conclusion. In the second half of 1990s pavement materials which were used mainly were sand and during first half of 2000s they were mixture of sand and rubber block and around 2010 they were rubber block or rubber chip pavements. Such change seemed to be a result of consideration of convenience for management and safety rather than in deference to diversity of children's outing places. Survey on the current status of pavement materials revealed need for directives by the main entity for management and their firm resolve for its implementation. And there was need for their coping with problems such as pressure of treading or lack of it or poor condition of drainage in case of sand and phenomena of pitting or dipping down, discoloring and poor drainage in case of rubber chips and rubber blocks and loosening of gaps between rubber blocks etc. Result of analysing status of usage disclosed that 50.4% of the respondents to questionnaires stated that they had experience of accidents. With regard to cause of such accident it was found that 47.5% of accidents were attributable to play facilities and 19.5% were due to paving (floor) materials thus it was disclosed that not only play facilities but also pavement materials had impact on safety for the children. Result of analysing level of satisfaction with pavement materials showed that pavement by rubber chips and blocks had higher level of satisfaction which was reflection of fear on cleanness of sand. In terms of preference rubber chip and rubber block pavements were highest and the next one was sand. Reason for such preference was based on concern with safety.

  • 동영상 검색 시스템에서는 사용자가 전체 동영상 정보를 한눈에 파악하고, 필요한 경우 동영상의 원하는 지점부터 직접 재생할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 전체 동영상의 내용을 요약해 놓은 대표 프레임 리스트를 제공하며 대표 프레임 리스트를 작성하기 위하여 장면전환을 정확하게 검출할 필요성이 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 장면전환 지점을 추출하기 위하여 프레임을 일정한 블록으로 분할하고 다음 프레임의 동일 블록에서의 히스토그램 값을 비교하여 임계값을 넘지 못하면 다음 프레임을 컷으로 추출하였다.

Development of Infants Music Education Application Using Augmented Reality

  • Augmented Reality (AR) technology has rapidly been applied to various application areas including e-learning and e-education. Focusing on the design and development of android tablet application, this study targeted to develop infant music education using AR technology. We used a tablet instead of personal computer because it is more easily accessible and more convenient. Our system allows infant users to play with teaching aids like blocks or puzzles to mimic musical play like game. The user sets the puzzle piece on the playground in front of the tablet and presses the play button. Then, the system extracts a region of interest among the images acquired by internal camera and separates the foreground image from the background image. The block recognition software analyzes, recognizes and shows the result using AR technology. In order to have reasonably working recognition ratio, we did experiments with more than 5,000 frames of actual playing scenarios. We found that the recognition rate can be secured up to 95%, when the threshold values are selected well using various condition parameters.

분산 비디오 부호화에서 보조정보 생성을 위한 블록중심 대칭형의 움직임 탐색 기법 (Block-Centered Symmetric Motion Estimation for Side Information Generation in Distributed Video Coding)

  • 보조정보 생성기법은 분산 비디오 부호화 기법(DVC: Distributed Video Coding)에서 핵심적인 역할을 수행한다. 대부분의 기존 보조정보 생성 기법은 복원된 키 프레임을 참조영상으로 블록중심으로 대칭형 움직임 탐색 기법을 주로 사용하고 있다. 그러나 이와 같은 방식은 움직임 탐색에 얻어지는 움직임 벡터가 복원하고자 하는 블록의 위치와 일치하지 않는 경향이 있으며 보조정보의 성능을 개선하는데 제한적이다. 이와 같은 문제점을 극복하기 위해, 본 논문에서는 움직임 벡터가 복원하고자 하는 블록의 중심 위치에서 대칭이도록 하는 블록중심 대칭형의 움직임 탐색 기법을 제안하고, 이와 같은 움직임 탐색법에 기초한 보조정보 생성 기법을 제안한다. 제안한 방식은 기존의 단순 대칭형 움직임 탐색방식에 비해 우수한 객관적 화질을 얻을 수 있음을 모의실험을 통해 보인다.
